Shopping in New Zealand | On the edge of the world. Blog about New Zealand.

Until now, I have written about New Zealand exclusively in enthusiastic tones. But you and I know that there are no ideal places on Earth. Of course, it is always good and wonderful where we are. But you can also find something to criticize everywhere. That’s what I’m going to do today. And this article, I think, will be interesting, first of all, for girls, because it will be about buying cosmetics and clothes in Auckland.

Among the few disadvantages of New Zealand, I would single out the fact that there is a very poor choice of consumer goods and good quality clothing.

As for the first, go to any store and, as a rule, you will find a very standard and limited set of well-known brands. Moreover, these brands are predominantly of the middle level and of the same average quality.

Seemingly nonsense. And for some, it’s not a problem at all. But I, for example, have capricious hair. And if you wash them with an inappropriate shampoo, the hairstyle turns out to be a la “explosion at a pasta factory” and even careful styling does not help. And in New Zealand, to find exactly the cosmetics that you need, you have to run a lot.

There are a few things here, though. The first, as in principle and everywhere, is “you need to know the place”. That is, when you get used to it a little, you start to find out where and what you can buy, life becomes more fun. And besides, among the goods of local production you can find good, high-quality and not too expensive ones, which will completely replace the brands you are used to.

At first, keeping in mind the quality of cosmetics from Russian manufacturers, I did not risk buying them. But when I tried it, it turned out that I was in vain afraid. For example, in the Westfield mall in downtown there is a great aromatherapy shop where I bought essential oils, base oils, natural soaps. All of this is of the best quality and was on average cheaper than what I buy in Moscow. There is also a professional hair cosmetics store with a pretty decent selection of shampoos. True, I never found my favorite Japanese, although it would seem that Japan is nearby, and there are a dime a dozen of Japanese goods in New Zealand.

By the way, with luxury brands such as Chanel, Dior, etc. there shouldn’t be any problems. There are several shops in the center of Auckland that sell such cosmetics and perfumes.

Why am I writing all this…. Of course, if you are traveling to New Zealand for a long time, you will somehow have to adjust to the local assortment. And there’s nothing you can do about it. But if, for example, you are planning a not particularly long trip, and you have cosmetics, without which you cannot imagine your life, it is better to take a supply with you so that it will be enough for the whole time. It is very likely that you will not be able to buy exactly the same in New Zealand, even if it is a well-known global brand.

There is also a good side – in New Zealand you are unlikely to run into outright fakes and unsafe health stuff. Even in small shops, you can buy cosmetics safely, without fear that the hair will fall out from the shampoo, and a rash will come out of the cream, because its quality does not meet basic safety standards.

The second item is clothing. It seems to me that only sports style fans will not have problems with buying clothes in New Zealand. There are a lot of sportswear here, and you can find something for a wide variety of tastes. But the rest …

Although I will say right away, shopping was not among the goals of my trip, so I did not go to clothing stores especially. But one way or another, you periodically visit shopping centers, and you also see what is sold there.

My conclusions – in Auckland there are a lot of cheap and rather lousy quality clothes – made in China. And the one that is of higher quality and more stylish, the price tags are unreasonably high. That is, even in Moscow, where things, in principle, are not cheap, something like that can be bought for a lower price. Not to mention Europe. Moreover, the choice of expensive things is also not amazing. So again, expecting to “buy everything on the spot” if you are traveling to New Zealand is probably not worth it.

By the way, according to my good friend, who lived in Australia for a long time, the situation is similar with cosmetics and clothes.

All of the above is my subjective opinion, and someone may think differently. It would be very interesting to hear the comments and opinions of those who live in New Zealand on a permanent basis.Do you have problems buying cosmetics and clothing? Or does everything suit you?

90,000 How to save in New Zealand

We collected 9 life hacks for you that will help you save your expenses

1. Buying food

Choose the right supermarkets
As a rule, the lowest prices for groceries are in Asian stores, and vegetables and fruits are the cheapest in dealerships and markets. From the network giants, pay attention to Pack’n’Save, Countdown and New World, although the products will cost you more.Don’t forget to look closely at the Specials (specials and discounts) in stores, you may find nice prices.

Markets
Vegetable markets include large weekend markets such as Avondale Sunday Market and Otahuhu Saturday Market, which offer fruits and vegetables and other products at prices lower than those in urban retail chains.

Water
New Zealand has quality drinking water, so it is not necessary to buy bottled water.Buy yourself a reusable quality travel bottle and fill it with water.

Discount stores
Significantly reduce the cost of a grocery basket, buy body care products, household chemicals, etc. using Why knot and Reduced to Clear discounters. Be careful, these stores specialize in expiring goods. Sometimes on the shelves you can find goods with good terms, because the goods are in abundance from the supplier and put up for sale at special prices.

2. Cafes and Restaurants

Take a closer look at Asian food courts
Typically, a trip to a cafe in New Zealand will cost you about 20 NZD. On an ongoing basis, this can “eat through” a fairly large hole in the budget. Therefore, if time does not allow you to cook at home, look out for Asian food courts. Not only is it really quick to cook there, but the plus is a more reasonable price and a larger portion.

Take one serving for two
The portions in cafes and restaurants are large enough, almost 100% if it is from the Main section (main dish).Feel free to take one for two. Enough for everyone! If you ask the waiter to divide one serving into two plates, it is likely that they will put a little more.

3. Internet

Reasonable approach
For many visitors to the country, the cost of mobile Internet, as well as significant restrictions on the use of public access points becomes an unpleasant surprise. Choose the tariff that suits you best, including consider sharing extra sms / kb minutes with family members.

Also inquire about additional services and offers from your provider. For example, the telecom operator 2degree offers its subscribers the opportunity to use the Internet for 1 hour a day for free, for this you need to install the Data Clock application on your smartphone. In addition, in the summer, the company invites subscribers to participate in an augmented reality game and collect up to 10GB of additional traffic to their account using the Data Hunt application.

Read about mobile operators in New Zealand in our article.

4. Heating and electricity

Rent a well insulated home
New Zealand has no central heating. Also, most homes are single-glazed, so even with heating, heating bills during the cold season will be significant. Before renting a house, take a look at how well it is insulated. You will be very lucky if the house has a WORKING fireplace (wood or gas) … Or stock up on warm pajamas.

The Right Electricity Company
When choosing an electricity supplier, compare rates and pay attention to special offers.

5. Fuel

Know the best price
Fuel costs at New Zealand filling stations vary between 10-15 cents per liter. You can find out the best offer at the moment using the Gaspy

mobile application

6. Lifestyle

Quit smoking
Quite strange advice, but now you will understand the scale of the problem. A pack of cigarettes in New Zealand will cost you from $ 20. That’s $ 600 a month for heavy smokers. Therefore, it is better to say goodbye to a bad habit while still at home.

Go to the Libraries
Because of the excellent library service in New Zealand, it is quite possible to avoid the cost of purchasing books for both adults and children. Libraries throughout Auckland offer all kinds of activities for children. They are usually held free of charge or involve a nominal fee. You can find out about upcoming events in the city’s libraries here.

Cheap Beauty Services
Found at universities that teach beauty industry students. You will pay a symbolic amount for the work of students.

7. Recreation and entertainment

Entertainment book provides substantial discounts on almost everything: recreation and entertainment, cafes and restaurants, all kinds of services and travel offers. By purchasing a membership, you get one year access to discounts and special offers in the selected city of New Zealand or Australia.

GrabOne and Groupon also offer you a wide range of products and services. Before planning an active holiday, you should pay special attention to BookMe, here you will find perhaps the most advantageous offers, especially if you plan your vacation in advance.

8. Purchase of clothes

Buy things only at discount time
Almost everyone knows about Christmas sales and Boxing day, but note that in addition to the Christmas period, many stores and retail chains hold their planned promotions, timed to coincide with the end of the season and holidays. These days, shopping malls are open longer, expecting a greater influx of buyers. Shops hold discount promotions. For example, the Briscos household goods and appliances store often pampers customers with substantial discounts on a wide range of products. Thus, depending on the store and the time of the sale, the prices of goods can fall by up to 80%.

Buy clothes in the Op shop or Recycle store
If you are unassuming in clothes, you can save on buying it, as well as buy expensive and high quality brands at a very pleasant price. In fact, these are second hand stores. Here are examples of some of them: Recycle Boutique, Tatty’s, The Fttic, and quite budget offers can always be found in the SaveMart

chain of stores.

9. Purchase of other things

Use the TradeMe website (Analogous to AVITO and OLX), and also register on the Neighbourly.co.nz website. Here you can find very nice offers for the sale or donation of good, but already unnecessary things for the owners: furniture, toys, dishes, household appliances, etc.Interesting offers for used furniture and household items can be found in the Market FaceBook section.

Garage sale
Another nice feature of the local culture. Arriving early at the sale address, you can purchase all sorts of things from the hands of the owners, who no longer need them. Garage sale advertisements can be found on FB or Neighbourly.co.nz, on bulletin boards in stores and community centers, and sometimes on bulletin boards along the street.

TV series Marlborough Sound Fjords watch online

Maggie Cabbott flies on a plane. In New Zealand, her husband Tom meets her at the airport. Embracing his wife, Tom looks back at the pretty woman (Zoya McGregor). Maggie: if you do that, I’ll fly back right there.

The Cabbotts come to the small town of Pelorus Sound. They go out to the embankment, kiss tenderly.A man (Roux Callicher) approaches them: disturbing public order? Tom introduces his wife to Callicher. Maggie admires the landscape: am I in paradise? Tom tells Maggie to watch his waku (Maori boat).

Maggie examines the yacht named after her by her husband. She likes everything very much.

Cabbots come to the city park, there will be a presentation of Tom’s business project. He introduces his wife to his partner Stuart McGregor.

Tom speaks to the inhabitants of the city. His speech is interrupted by a Maori woman (Pania Cottle). She says that Tom’s project will harm the environment, that he is driven by greed. The woman is interrupted by Stewart. He says that Tom’s project is the event of the century that he was able to bring Pelorus to a new level, contributed to the development of aquaculture. Tom’s enterprise will employ 60 local people. Stewart asks his brother Jack (he serves in the police) to remove Cottle from the event. He fulfills his brother’s wish.

Tom addresses the public and says that the project was discussed with local tribes and was approved by their representatives. The enterprise will have a much smaller environmental impact than any other fish farm in the world.

One of the local residents addresses Maggie. She explains that Cottle is against everything.

After the end of the event, Tom steps aside with Stuart, they talk about something. A man comes up to them and starts arguing with them. Tom and Stewart push him aside and continue the conversation. This scene is watched by Maggie.

Cabbotts enter a cafe.Callicher approaches Mary and invites her to dance. Maggie says that she had a change in biorhythms: my legs are just braiding. Kellikher: I have them loose, so it’s good. Maggie accepts the dance invitation.

Tom and Maggie climb aboard the yacht, go out to sea, stop in the middle of the bay. Tom shows Maggie on the map where they are.

In the morning, while Maggie is asleep, Tom goes up on deck, lowers the kayak, gets into it and floats away.

Maggie wakes up.She puts on a swimming suit, dives into the water from the deck of a yacht, swims. Maggie looks for her husband, calls him, examines the surroundings through binoculars. Then she turns on the radio and sends a distress signal: I am Maggie Cabbott, I am in a place with the following coordinates; my husband is missing.

A boat is suitable for the yacht. Jack McGregor comes up to the deck of the Maggie with his colleagues. He asks Maggie: was your husband healthy? You need to remember literally all the little things, every detail can be important. Maggie says she was still asleep at the time. And Tom swims like a fish. What did he take with him? Water, telephone, watch. What’s the use of all this! What about a life jacket? I’ll take a look. No, he didn’t take the vest.

Jack instructs his assistant Kat Hines: organize a search on the water, tell Kallicher to organize a search on the shore.

Hines reports Tom’s disappearance to the Harbor Master.

While sorting out Tom’s things, Maggie discovers a bong and stocks of drugs, wrapped in an old T-shirt. She does not say anything about this find to Jack.

Rescuers discover Tom’s inverted kayak in the bay.

Jack invites Maggie to return to the shore. She wants to stay at sea: what if Tom comes back here? Jack says that the kayak was found near the coast, so Tom will definitely not return to the yacht. If you have the funds, you can attract airplanes for search operations. Maggie says she’s ready to do it.

Maggie decides to report Tom’s disappearance to his family. Jack offers to make a call from his house, he brings Maggie to his place. There they are met by Hannah, Jack’s daughter. She gives the little child to the father (Bella), and she leaves the house.

A man is talking to Stewart (construction foreman Greg). He demands to repay the debt. Stewart says he will do it as soon as he has the money. The lender is angry: everyone says so when they don’t want to repay debts!

Stewart receives a message from an unknown number: is what they say about Tom Cabbott true?

Maggie calls Vancouver to report Tom’s disappearance to his brother Nate.He is amazed: how could he have disappeared? He swims like a fish. Okay, keep me posted.

Nate talks with his father (Frank), expresses confidence that his brother will definitely be found that Maggie will be able to cope with the situation. Frank tells Nate: you have a specialist who can find everything in the world.

Nate sets a task for the accountant Esther Ishikawa, who is looking for money withdrawn to offshore. She clarifies: what have you lost, money? No, a person in New Zealand.

At the police station, Jack talks to Maggie. He informs her that a helicopter will be involved in the search operation. Maggie expresses her desire to stay overnight on the yacht. Jack invites Maggie to stay at his house. She agrees, but says that she needs to pick up her things from the yacht.

Second day of searches. Maggie tells Jack that she will go to sea on a yacht. He tries to dissuade her: bad weather is expected, there will be a storm. Maggie says she knows how to steer a ship. Jack is informed that a bag with Tom’s things was found in the Cook Strait, and this is already the open sea.

Jack recalls the people who are looking for Tom at sea: a strong wind has risen, his speed reaches 30 knots. And further deterioration of the weather is expected.

Jack tells Maggie that he has to ask some personal questions. Was everything good with you? Yes, everything was great. Tom was not worried, he was very glad to see me. He was very pleased with his project. Here is just that scene with the woman who attacked him during the holiday. Jack: Well, you don’t have to worry about her.

Flashback. Maggie talks to Tom about Cottle. He says that the lady simply forgot to take the medicine, that she is an alcoholic.

The conversation between Jack and Maggie is interrupted by Hannah. She again brings her granddaughter to her father, asks to look after the child. Jack passes the baby to Maggie, asks her to hold the baby while he goes about his business. Maggie holds the baby in her arms, tears streaming down her face. Hines approaches her, she says that fathers always give in to girls like Hannah.

Jack tells Maggie that he investigated the contents of Tom’s phone, which was found in his bag.No leads.

Greg comes to the police station. He complains to Jack: your brother has brought me to the handle. Jack looks back at Maggie and tells Greg: we won’t talk about this here.

Jack approaches Maggie again, they continue their conversation. Maggie: you knew Tom, he did business with your brother. Was there something wrong with them? No, everything was fine. How did Tom get on with his family? Maggie says his father put a lot of pressure on Tom. Jack: Did they have problems with money? Maggie says that Tom’s family is very rich: getting a million dollars is not a problem for them. But the fact is that Tom’s father does not always conduct business ethically. Jack: How did he finance his project? Maggie: He used funds from a family-owned trust fund. Tom wanted to prove himself worth something. Especially after his father put not Tom at the head of the family business, but his brother.

Maggie says that if Jack thinks about her involvement in the death of her husband, then he is mistaken. Tom was happier with me than ever. When I met him in college, I thought he was pretending that you can’t really be so nice.My mother raised me alone, so I had no experience with men. And then I realized that the rich have the same problems as other people. And money only aggravates such problems. And Tom didn’t want to become like his father. He was good. And he had no secrets from me, just like I had from him.

The telephone rings. Jack picks up the phone. He tells Maggie that the coordination center in Wellington has changed the status of the operation to locate Tom: now it is not a rescue operation, but a search one. When the weather improves, we’ll start looking again. Maggie: just don’t tell me Tom isn’t coming back.

Flashback. Tom jumps from the kayak into the water, flips the boat, swims to the shore. There he takes clothes out of the cache, puts them on, pulls out a rubber boat, a pump-action gun and cartridges for it.

Maggie puts on a bathing suit, swims far out to sea and drowns the bong and drugs found on the yacht.

Tom hides a boat in the forest, walks along the path to an abandoned hut, enters it.He turns on the faucet in the kitchen, but no water flows from there. Tom leaves the hut, walks over to a tank for collecting rainwater. Tom pulls on the rubber hose that came off the pipe. Then he tries to level the water tank, which is located on a wooden stand. Tom uses a board as leverage. The structure collapses, Tom falls on his back, nails sticking out of the planks pierce his hand, Tom’s leg falls under the blockage of the planks on which a tank filled with water lies.

Tom tries to reach for the pump-action shotgun he grabbed as he left the hut and onto the street. He manages to hook his foot on the strap from the gun, pull the weapon towards him. Tom shoots the tank with a gun. Water leaks from the bullet holes in the tank, relieving pressure on Tom’s leg.

Ishikawa arrives at Pelorus Sound Police Station. She turns to Jack: tell me, do you suspect someone of the murder of Tom? Jack: who are you? Tom’s relatives sent me. But you’re not the New Zealand Police Chief, are you? So, you, like everyone else, need to wait for the discovery of the body of the missing Tom and the autopsy results, which will be made public.

Ishikawa walks into a bar and asks Hanna if she can rent an apartment, but only without a sea view. She says that only Hines can rent such housing to Ishikawa: she has no view from the house at all.

Maggie asks Stewart: Is there anything you want to tell me about your business with Tom? Everything was fine with us.

Ishikawa calls Vancouver, informs Frank and Nate that in New Zealand they are only talking about finding Tom’s body. He stayed in the water for 72 hours, 71 hours more than he could.Ishikawa suggests that Maggie might want insurance for her husband? Frank says that in this case, she could have achieved her goal long ago. Ishikawa says her specialty is finding money, not people. Frank: And you don’t do it well. Ishikawa: but these are my direct official duties. Frank asks Nate: How much have we invested in salmon farms? Not at all. He took five million from the fund. Frank: no access there? Nate: No. Frank: Deal with this. If everything is bad, we will zero the costs. And if everything is good there, then I will be very surprised. Nate: Are we getting ahead of ourselves?

Frank asks Ishikawa if she has already spoken to Maggie. No, but I’m going to do it.

Ishikawa talks to Maggie in a pub. How long do you think the search for the corpse will take? Maggie: You’re talking about my husband after all. Ishikawa: and Frank and Nate are Tom’s father and brother. Maggie: who sit in Canada and send an accountant here. Ishikawa: Financial Investigator. Maggie: I thought you were looking for money. Ishikawa: I thought so too, but they wanted me to help them protect their financial interests.Maggie: so Tom is their interest? But the salmon farm has nothing to do with them. Ishikawa: She has to do with Tom, and therefore with them. They think you have nothing to worry about. But they wonder: what’s wrong with Tom’s business partner? Maggie: he was a friend of Tom, and therefore is now grieving. Ishikawa: Something doesn’t look like it. Maggie: what is grief supposed to look like? Ishikawa: My employers want me to keep them informed. Maggie: here you go. As for the salmon farm, work on its organization will continue.Hannah approaches the table at which Maggie and Ishikawa are sitting and says: the hospitable hostess wants to show you the house.

Stewart talks to his wife Annette, who is holding a glass of wine in her hand. We have big problems. Annette: Everyone’s in trouble. Jack comes to his brother: why is your foreman not himself? Stewart: I’ll go figure it out.

Hines brings Ishikawa to the house she wants to rent. Ishikawa asks: Are you a journalist? Hines: I’m trying not to be. So are you going to write about Tom Cabbott? Do not know. And he seems to have the same family. Ishikawa: what’s the Wi-Fi password? Hines: No password. We don’t even lock the house when we go on vacation, which we don’t have.

Maggie is reading her husband’s correspondence on his phone. Jack comes to her yacht. Maggie says she should at least see Tom’s body to say goodbye to him. Jack says that Ishikawa is hinting that someone killed Jack. He asks Maggie not to despair. And you could help us a lot if you went ashore and helped Hannah prepare food for the volunteers who are looking for Tom.

Maggie comes to Hannah’s house, helps her cook. The women are talking. Hannah: do you have a servant at home? No. Do you have any brothers or sisters? No, I lived with my mother. And who is Bella’s father? One local freak, he ran away from his sister, appears only occasionally. However, my husbands are no better. Pelorus is not a place for a married couple. This does not apply to you and Tom, you looked very good together. Maggie: I thought so too.

Maggie goes to the toilet, takes out Tom’s phone, examines the photographs there. She is looking at a photo of a woman whose face is not visible in the photo. On her chest there is a heart-shaped tattoo with wings.

Keikura City. A man (Hayden) and a woman (Zoe McGregor) are in bed. Zoya is the first to wake up. On her chest there is a tattoo in the form of a heart with wings. She rummages in her purse. Wakes up his roommate: this goat robbed me! Hayden: So he’s a goat now?

Flashback. Zoe, Hayden and a man enter the room. Zoya laughs and knocks the man onto the bed. Hayden sits in a chair with a bottle of beer and watches the development of the erotic scene.

Hayden: and how much was left there? Zoya: half a kilo. We should have sold everything earlier.

Flashback. Maggie talks to Tom. He says: the father was right, the deal went through. I am an empty space. Maggie pats her husband on the head: but I can’t help you with anything.

Hayden and Zoya are driving. Hayden: How much is a pound of this dope worth? Loads of money. We need to find this goat or money. Hayden: Where is your rich man? As soon as it is needed, it is not.

Flashback. Zoya is on Tom’s yacht, offering him drugs.Tom: everyone, this is the last time. Zoya: can I not leave here? Why would you sail on a yacht with your dearest wife? Tom: this is my destiny. Zoya: I need real money, I want to become a manufacturer, not just a courier. And it is not difficult to do this if we do it together. Tom: You said you only wanted to have a little fun, nothing more. Zoya: Would your wife call it fun? Tom: get off my yacht. Zoya: or? She goes out on deck and hides drugs and a bong in a locker, wrapped in an old T-shirt.

Hayden and Zoe drive up to a gas station. Hayden: do you understand that you will be found anyway? He gives the woman a bill: buy something to eat. Zoe gets out of the car, Hayden drives away. Zoya throws her backpack to the ground in hysterics, kicks the pots of flowers located at the entrance to the gas station building.

Ishikawa arrives at the dock where Tom’s yacht is. As soon as she walks onto the wooden walkways, she becomes ill. Ishikawa returns to the shore. A man with a camera (Dane McGregor) approaches her. What’s wrong with you? You feel bad? Ishikawa: What are you filming? Dane: weddings, funerals. He hands the woman a business card. I can show a photo from a children’s holiday. Do not. Do you have bluetooth?

Maggie in the cafe asks Hannah about the Cottle. She says: this is another single mother. It is not clear why she comes here. Maggie sees Cottle through the window. She, sitting in a boat, collects garbage from the water surface with a net. Maggie walks over to Cottle: I would like to talk to you about what you were talking about then to Tom.

Dane goes aboard the yacht, filming the interior of the ship.Ishikawa is watching him from a rented house, giving instructions to the operator: now go to the tail. There is no tail on the yacht. Okay, open the door already. Dane: It actually looks like a trespass. Ishikawa: I have permission. From whom, from the little wife? From the owner’s family. Dane: Here’s the crew quarters. I wonder why a crew is needed here? Ishikawa: Maybe they wanted to go around the world. Okay, bring the flash drive and take the money.

Maggie appears on the yacht: what are you doing here? Dane: It’s because of the insurance.Miss Ishikawa said you would need her. Are you Stewart’s son? Yes. I’m sorry about what happened to your husband.

Maggie comes to Ishikawa: for your information, the yacht is already insured. Glad to hear. And we paid for the insurance ourselves. And what are your plans for her? Swim. Where to? You can go out into the bay. Ishikawa: but she can do more. Maggie: The yacht won’t sail anywhere without Tom. And you have no reason not to trust me. Ishikawa: I’m not used to trusting people.

Maggie walks into a cafe, sits down at the table at which Cottle is sitting. Are you following me? I want to talk to you. And I want to drink alone. And, lady, you probably shouldn’t know about something. Maggie: When I was a lawyer, I fought for what you did. Our farm, when operational, will be as safe as possible for the environment. Cottle: So you still want to know? Yes. Cottle says that once, early in the morning on a fishing trip to the sea, she saw Tom on the yacht, who was having fun with the girl. Maggie: Maybe it wasn’t Tom? Cottle: Maybe it’s good that he disappeared?

Flashback.Maggie Tom is having dinner with Frank and Nate in Vancouver. Maggie is arguing with her father-in-law. He abruptly cuts her off, Tom stands up for his wife. Frank: Have you got your voice cut out?

Ishikawa walks into Tom and Stewart’s office. So you don’t have passwords here? She inserts a USB flash drive into the computer.

Zoya enters a bar, turns to the waitress, asks to tell where Tom can be found. Are you high? You were three days late, he disappeared.

Zoe comes to Stewart’s house, wakes Annette, asks her for a car.She allows you to take your car.

Hines sailing in a motorboat to where Tom landed. She reports to Jack on the radio that there was a landslide in this place. But I can land and survey the area. Jack: It’s late, come back.

Maggie comes to Jack’s house. She sees his family photos. Is this your wife? Yes. She died of cancer. Hannah was 14 then, and Bella’s mother was 10. The phone rings. Jack says he is being called for an accident. He asks Maggie to look after Bella.

Jack leaves. Hannah and Stewart appear. Maggie asks Stewart: what’s going on with your company? Ishikawa is breathing down the back of my head, next in line is you.

Jack and Zoe appear. Jack says Zoe crashed Annette’s car. Zoe sees her baby in Maggie’s arms. Why is my baby in her arms? Give it to me! She tries to take the baby away from Maggie and is held by Hannah. Maggie sees a tattoo in Zoya’s neckline: a heart with wings.

collaborations that have made our life more profitable

The “divide and conquer” policy already looks as irrelevant as possible these days.Collaborations seem to be in vogue. And do not be afraid of this new and fashionable word behind which the usual “cooperation” is hidden. The main thing here is that well-known brands show by their examples how easy, beautiful and effective it is possible to combine various goods and services so that literally everyone will benefit.

When really one is good, and several is better.

Together with the telecom operator Beeline, we studied vivid examples of collaborations and found out how innovative solutions made various goods and services more accessible, brought pleasant benefits to their customers, and even found a suitable collaboration at Beeline itself.

High fashion in shopping centers

The history of haute couture knows many examples of cooperation: when two premium brands, a brand and an artist or a well-known media person meet, but, perhaps, I especially want to highlight the stories of interaction between premium brands and the so-called mass market. Such collaborations bring luxury closer to ordinary buyers. Many things, for example, branded T-shirts in the mass market are several times, or even ten times cheaper than in boutiques.

As a result, buyers were able to wear designer clothes at an affordable price, and brands found a new target audience where, at first glance, it did not exist. Interestingly, today it is more and more premium brands that are initiating cooperation with the mass market.

Art to the masses

Art collaborations, when a brand wants to appeal to its consumers through works of art, to reveal itself to a new level, have become widespread in various fields.Today, artists actively interact not only with the world of haute couture and luxury, but also with relatively budget brands of watch and shoe brands, decorate food packaging with their works (even boxes of chocolates and disposable coffee cups!) And, together with technology companies, launch virtual tours of galleries with their works.

This is how art looks to the masses: after all, not everyone can buy a painting by a famous artist or go on a trip to see the desired work alive. But brands are coming together to make art closer and more accessible.

Home restaurant

Perhaps the most important collaboration in the gastronomic world is the collaboration of restaurants with delivery services. Today, even a complex dish can be seen on your table for an hour. The pandemic greatly accelerated the development and availability of this interaction, which, in turn, helped gourmets during the time of self-isolation, and for the restaurant business at that time it became practically the only possible form of existence.

But not a single delivery! Restaurants and food brands find sometimes completely unexpected formats of cooperation with clothing brands, libraries, museums, music stores – the scope for imagination seems endless.

Close to hand personal cinema

Beeline is well acquainted with the practice of collaborations: the operator has long been implementing joint projects with various companies in order to provide its customers with the best service and profitable products. So, for example, today Beeline offers its subscribers a unique opportunity to watch their favorite films and series at once in 4 popular online cinemas.

Together with the action “Look what comes to mind” in the service “Beeline TV” everyone can not only find suitable content for any mood, but also see new items among the first.

* From 30.08.21 to 31.10.21 for subscribers – physical. persons of a number of tariffs are provided with access to a 4in1 subscription to Beeline TV (12+) for 1 or 3 months, then the subscription price is 399 rubles / month. Not available to subscribers with activated 4in1 subscription. Organizer and rules of the action on beeline.ru.

Erdogan changed his mind about sending 10 ambassadors: they will be more careful

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, October 25, changed his mind about sending 10 ambassadors. He believes that “now they will be more careful” and will stop interfering in the activities of the country’s judicial system.

Source: France24.

It is noted that the Turkish leader spoke after the United States and several other countries made statements that they comply with the UN convention, which requires diplomats not to interfere in the internal affairs of the host country.

Erdogan noted that the new statement “shows that they have stepped back from slandering our country,” and “now they will be more careful.”

At the same time, he stressed that Turkey cannot allow ambassadors to interfere in the activities of the country’s judicial system. After all, “such an attitude is a great insult to all representatives of the Turkish judiciary, including judges, prosecutors and lawyers.”

Erdogan was going to send 10 ambassadors

Let us remind you that the diplomatic crisis began with the fact that last week the embassies of the United States, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden called on Turkey to quickly settle the lawsuit against the imprisoned human rights defender Osman Kavala. The ambassadors stressed that Kavala is being held in custody, despite the fact that he has not been convicted of a crime.

On October 23, Erdogan said that he instructed the Foreign Ministry to declare ambassadors of 10 countries, including the United States, persona non grata, who called on Turkey to liberate Kavala, recalling the decision of the ECHR in his favor.
