Vigina whitening cream: The request could not be satisfied

Vaginal Whitening Creams Shouldn’t Exist

There are certain things one just should not do, like eating dust bunnies with khichdi, watering plants with Harpic, or applying whitening creams on one’s genitalia. Not only is it unnecessary, but also harmful. But, since such products exist in the market and are being sold every day, we need to address the fact that some feel the need to use them, and figure out why that is the case, in order to stop this from being something that happens in 2020!

If being “gori-chitti” wasn’t enough, now we need to have white vaginas too?

Many of us might know that there are astonishing requirements from prospective brides in the Indian marriage “market.” There are already vaginal tightening creams to cater to the obscenely sexist demand for a “virgin” bride. It shouldn’t be news to us then that vaginal whitening creams also exist.

How a woman looks has been at the forefront of how society measures her value for longer than we can remember, and this judgement clearly extends to our vaginas as well. Since everything about us has to be fair and lovely, our genitalia is not exempt from colourism, either.

Whitening products exist because colourism exists, so let’s not feign shock

The fact that whitening products exist for any part of the body at all should be enough to shock us and reflect on the beauty standards of the society we live in.  As long as the idea that light skin is superior to dark skin exists, there will always be a market for whitening products of any kind. So, while it might seem extreme to us that vaginal whitening creams exist, we should check ourselves, because we should be equally angry that any other skin-lightening cream exists. All of these serve the common purpose of making us feel inferior in our own skin, no matter which body part they are for.

How hard is it to understand that darkening around the pubic region is NORMAL?

We recently talked about how dark underarms, elbows, and knuckles are considered “dirty” by many, and brown and black people feel ashamed of this because of eurocentric beauty ideals that imply dark skin is dirty or ugly. This problematic social conditioning needs to be undone before we bleach off our beautiful and unique identity.

Our skin’s melanin concentration is not like that of Caucasian skin, and upon reaching puberty, some body parts do darken more than they would on a white-skinned person. This is not something to be ashamed of or something wrong that we need to “fix” with yet another product which aims at capitalizing on our insecurities.

It’s even more dangerous to use skin-lightening products on delicate regions

Forget the vagina, even the skin around it on the vulva and labia is quite delicate and should not be irritated with harsh products, let alone creams with whitening ingredients. This region is not only sensitive, but also gets less air and light than other parts of our skin. So, it’s really important to maintain the pH balance of the skin there, and make sure we aren’t using anything that will disrupt the acid mantle of the region and lead to a germ infestation.

When we use fragranced soaps or vaginal lightening creams on these parts, the harsh ingredients disrupt the skin’s microbiome and leave it itchy, dry, and prone to skin issues.

For the sake of our skin’s health and in order to keep body image issues at bay, we need to stop using such items, and buying into the idea that our skin’s darkness is ugly or abnormal. The more we open up to each other on these insecurities and normalise the fact that such skin is not an anomaly but the norm, we will realise there is nothing wrong with us, and there is no product we need to change ourselves with in order to fit someone else’s colourist agenda.

Vagina Whitening – How to Remove Blackness of Private Parts?

Vagina Whitening – What is it & How to Remove Blackness of Private Parts?

Society has always had unrealistic beauty standards for women like fairer skin and slim body. Now it has extended to the vaginas. Having a fair vagina is emerging as a new trend these days. Numerous women wonder- why is my private area dark? These standards can have a frightening effect on women’s self-esteem and perception of their own body. It may also affect their relationships, confidence, physical and emotional health. Several brands feed on women’s insecurities by selling them vagina whitening creams.

Why do women feel their vaginas need to look cute or nice?

Some of the reasons why women want to make their vagina more beautiful are:

  • Lack of knowledge makes many women anxious.
  • Demand or complaints from partners
  • Influencers posting content on ‘how to lighten the vagina area?’ or ‘how to get a perfect vagina?’
  • The porn industry showcases models who only have fair pink vaginas, which creates a false illusion of how women’s vulvar area is supposed to look.
  • Popular cosmetic treatments are offering “perfect vagina” with chemical/laser treatments.

Vaginal Whitening Creams

All of these factors have given brands a chance to capitalise on women’s vulnerabilities. Their advertisement promises to enhance the vulvar skin’s (vaginal skin) colour through vaginal creams. These creams claim to give a flawless and spotless vagina by using bleaching agents.

However, gynaecologists do not recommend using these cream as they contain harmful chemicals like:

  • Hydroquinone: May cause ochronosis, a rare condition leading to dark and thick skin.
  • Steroids: Results in skin thinning which further causes a decrease in immunity.

Vaginal whitening creams can cause other harmful effects, such as:

  • Disbalance in pH levels of vaginal skin
  • Increase the probability of infections in private parts
  • Bad odour
  • Swelling
  • Loss of sensation

How to Bleach Your Private Area?

Vaginal bleaching is the process of whitening the external genitals. It can be done with the help of topical creams, laser treatments, chemical peels, ointments, and serums available in the market, especially for this purpose. Yet, there have been many speculations around their efficiency and effectiveness.

American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG) strictly opposes the use of any such vaginal beautifying procedures. A paper published by them on “vaginal rejuvenation and cosmetic vaginal procedures” states that these processes make the vagina prone to dyspareunia, infection, scarring, altered sensation, and adhesions.

The DON’TS: How to Remove Blackness of Private Parts?

Several blogs on the internet suggest DIY hacks and natural remedies on “how to lighten vaginal area?” and “how to tighten vagina home remedies”. Some of the popular ones encourage the application of the following natural ingredients:

  • Yoghurt
  • Gram Flour or Besan
  • Aloe vera
  • Rosewater
  • Sandalwood
  • Potatoes

A journal published by NCBI on “Vaginal Douching: Evidence for Risks or Benefits to Women’s Health” discusses that no scientific study reports any benefit from vaginal whitening processes so far. Many organisations, such as the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women’s Association, and the American Public Health Association, have even discouraged its use because of the harmful effects.

Why Do Vaginas Have Darker Skin?

Vaginas of women vary in shape, size and colour. These differences are natural, and the best thing you can do is accept your private body parts as they are. You don’t need societal standards to say you are perfect.

Scientifically, it is proven that having darker vulva skin than the rest of the body is perfectly normal. As per studies, this is because vaginal skin has high melanocytes, which causes pigmentation. Other typical reasons for a darker vulvar area could be:

  • Tight clothes resulting in a lack of ventilation
  • Hormonal changes due to PCOS/PCOD. You can try performing yoga for PCOD to treat this condition.
  • Pregnancy
  • Higher oestrogen level
  • Excess body weight increases friction. You can opt for the benefits of Jowar in weight loss.
  • Vitamin deficiency, ageing factor
  • Some skin diseases

Any unusual darkening of vagina can also be an indication of a skin disease or medical condition. Under such circumstances, consult a dermatologist or gynaecologist instead of using any whitening cream or DIY hacks available on the internet.

Vaginal Tightening: Another Unrealistic Vagina Expectation

Vaginal tightening refers to any process that tightens the vagina. Many women continue to believe in the myth that tighter vaginas are better, resulting in better sex life.

The only answer to queries like ‘What can be used to tighten the vagina?’, ‘How to make vagina tight?’ and ‘How to tighten vaginal walls?’ is that vagina is a stretchable organ, and vaginal loosening is a misconception. No vagina tightening cream or yoni tightening medicine could tighten your vagina because it doesn’t get loose.

The vaginal wall has an elastic stretch to accommodate the penis and foetus. It goes back to the previous shape after mating or childbirth. Vagina changes its shape over time due to factors like age, hormones or childbirth.

Lighten Your Intimate Parts with most natural and safe ways – Namyaa Intimate Lightening Serum!

Do away with bleaching creams and expensive medical treatments – get whiter glowing skin by using the Namyaa Skin Lightening Serum. It’s not a pill, not a drug, not a supplement, not a cream, not even an oil, it’s just a simple serum! After years of research and innovation, Namyaa has formulated some great skin care products, which are scientifically proven to be safe with zero side effects. Women who face this issue of intimate skin darkening often feel embarrassed to wear a sleeveless top or a bikini. But how does the skin get darker in the first place? And does this skin lightening serum actually work?

Whitening products like bleaches and other gels may lighten your skin, but Namyaa has formulated a serum that not only covers up the darker intimate skin but removes them resulting in the flawless radiant skin. Whitening the skin isn’t a new concept. Historically, it began in the Victorian era with only powder and paint being available to the then ladies, foreshadowing the invention of today’s foundation. European women were literally painting their faces with lead paint. Queen Elizabeth I was known to consume arsenic complexion wafers, which were essentially little pills of poison to give her that ‘white’ look. Queen Elizabeth I’s early and meticulous efforts to appear pure white and nearly transparent during her 16th-century rule soon became known as the “Elizabethan ideal of beauty”. The whiter one’s skin was, the more beautiful and noble they were perceived to be.

The concept of having white radiant skin took a leap further. Today, skin lightening is not limited just to the face, hands, and legs, but also to the intimate body parts of a woman. As fashion and lifestyle evolved and clothes became trendier and bolder, more skin is exposed for people to see. Wearing bolder clothes is not the issue but exposing dark and patchy intimate skin under those bold clothes surely reduces the confidence of many women today.

Imagine if you were rewarding your efforts of maintaining a good body by wearing trendy bolder clothes that expose more skin and flaunt your shape. But in the process, you expose your dark underarm skin and some blemishes you’re ashamed of. This is where it gets frustrating for women who have tried multiple products for intimate skin darkening but yet have failed. While some women are blessed with healthy skin and fair tone, others have intimate areas that appear to be darker than the rest of their body’s skin tone. What exactly causes intimate skin darkening? The intimate areas are not that exposed as compared to the other areas of the body. Due to the lack of exposure, these areas need some special attention. The darkening of the private areas is perfectly normal and can be caused by a number of factors. Some of these factors can be easily dealt with.

It is also important that you should not feel unattractive or disturbed due to such discoloration. The reason for a hyperpigmentation of intimate skin is because the vaginal skin naturally has the highest density of melanocytes that cause dark skin pigments. Although this causes a slightly darker tone to the intimate areas, some women have distinctive variations in dark intimate skin tones. There are 5 main factors that cause intimate darkening.

Ventilation – The intimate regions are generally confined and not easily exposed. The skin in intimate parts like the underarms and genitals, do not receive enough air. With such restricted ventilation, the skin texture and tone is affected. Therefore, it is important to wear undergarments that allow free circulation of air to the intimate body parts. Don’t wear tight clothes and the ones made from fabrics that don’t allow the free flow of air.

Age – With age, private regions naturally turn dark. This is due to hormonal changes as a person gets older. Most older women will always find their intimate areas a little darker compared to younger women. This is, however, just one of the factors that affect the intimate skin tone. Hence, a young woman can still face the problem of skin darkening despite her age.

Friction – Constant friction in the intimate areas can cause skin darkening. The friction mostly occurs when you walk, exercise, and even when you have sex. As a result, this affects the skin texture leading to a change in skin tone. Shaving and waxing the pubic area causes more pigmentation due to heat, inflammation, and friction. In general, anything that produces heat, inflammation, laceration, and friction may cause hyperpigmentation, also known as Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH).

Sweat – Our body naturally produces sweat which is a body-waste in the form of moisture droplets exuded from the pores of the skin due to heat. Sweat contains some biochemicals which can affect the skin tone in the genital area. Although sweat in the vulva maintains the pH balance of the vagina, it still contributes to the darkening of the skin if it isn’t taken care of. Because the private regions are confined, sweat will likely remain in the area until you take a shower. With these chemicals on the intimate skin for a long time, the skin discoloration is likely to happen.

Having understood the entire problem that women face about intimate skin darkening, Namyaa has provided a solution. The new Namyaa Intimate Skin Lightening Serum which contains natural extracts and serums from plants make it a safe product to apply over your intimate areas. The lightening serum is free from:

– Hydroquinone

– Perfumes

– Parabens

Namyaa Intimate Lightening Serum can be used for:

– Underarms

– Back of the neck

– Elbows

– Genitals

– Knees

Apart from lightening the intimate areas, the
Namyaa Intimate Lightening Serum has other benefits as well. This intimate skin serum can also reduce blemishes and redness caused by shaving, especially in the genital areas. Scars and pigmentations in the underarms and under-breast areas can be lightened with this serum. Using it as a skin treatment over a certain birthmark for 6 weeks can significantly reduce the pigmentation and the desired skin tone can be achieved.

Using deodorants also contributes to skin darkening. Antiperspirant and deodorants temporarily clog sweat glands to decrease sweating. This results in a constant build-up of the antiperspirant gel in the pores of the underarm skin. Ultimately, the covered pores of the underarm skin lead to dark pigmentation and eventually darker underarms! Using this serum on underarms can eradicate the build-up of the antiperspirant. The serum contains plant extracts which have detox properties open the clogged pores and reduce pigmentation and body odor in the process.

The application process is fairly simple. All you have to do is clean the area with an intimate wash or a regular clean cloth. Pat dry the intimate area with a clean dry towel. Take a few drops of the Namyaa Skin Lightening Serum and apply on the area twice a day. Continue this process for 6 weeks for a lighter glowing intimate skin.

With so many benefits of using the Namyaa Intimate Lightening Serum, you can confidently wear all possible fashionable trendy clothes that are sleeveless, strapless, short, cold-shouldered, and many more. These benefits are visible and well appreciated by the women who have already used Namyaa as their daily body care product.

Here are some testimonials from women who have used
Namyaa Skin Lightening Serum:

“It is an excellent and easy product to use. It’s effective over dark circles as well. I really like the fact that it’s a natural product. And it has been really effective over pigmentations.”

“I used the product, I found it useful as it is safe for intimate areas, no harsh chemicals and it is made from natural plant-based ingredients. It helps reducing dark shade skin of intimate area. Tried it and got the good result.”

“The best natural lightening cream which does work very effectively, awesome product”

Also, Namyaa takes care of your needs by creating a discreet packaging for your order so that you can have convenience in ordering it even at office spaces. The package does not have labels that have product details mentioned.

Thailand’s skin-whitening craze reaches woman’s intimate areas | Thailand

A new product said to make women’s intimate areas “fairer within four weeks” has revived the beauty debate in colour-conscious Thailand, where fair skin is associated with opportunity, success and status, and caused critics to question when, if ever, the skin-whitening craze will end.

Products promising to lighten the face, body and armpits are already available across the country, with skin-whitening pills and diet supplements claiming to pick up where the cosmetics leave off. But this is the first time that a vaginal whitening wash has hit the Thai market.

In the adverts, which are available online, on TV and on radio, a fair-skinned woman in skinny jeans wanders into her closet to change clothes, describing how “everyone wants to look good – but tight shorts can leave your skin darker”. The camera then zooms in on her new outfit, which includes a pair of white shorts, to a voiceover claiming that Lactacyd White Intimate can make skin in that area become “bright and translucent”.

The launch of a similar product in India this year was met with international disdain after a TV advert insinuated that having a fairer vagina would make women more attractive to men. In Thailand, however, the companies responsible say they have been successful. “Products [have] evolved from face-whitening to body and deodorant solutions to even out dark areas in the armpits,” said Louis-Sebastien Ohl of Publicis Thailand, which created the adverts. “Now an intimate toiletry also offers a whitening benefit, because research evidenced that … women [are] keen to have such a product.”

In many countries across south-east Asia, fairer skin is equated with higher class as it suggests a life not spent toiling in rice paddies under the sun. The Thai language is peppered with expressions that denigrate dark skin, such as the insult dam mhuen e-ga – “black like a crow”. These days, rice farmers wear long sleeves, trousers, wide-brimmed hats and gloves. According to DRAFTFCB, the agency behind many of Nivea’s skin-lightening ads in Thailand, such labourers make up much of of the Thai market for Nivea’s face- and body-lightening products.

Using pale Korean and Japanese pop stars as illustrations, Thai women’s magazines are full of fair-skinned Asians promoting products that promise to whiten, lighten and “boost” the complexion, with slogans such as “Show off your aura” and “Get to know the miracle of white skin”. Fair-skinned actors and singers dominate the media nearly all over the Asia-Pacific region, where the skin-lightening industry is expected to reach $2bn this year , with the fastest growing markets in China and India.

But the trend has been associated with health risks as many products contain ingredients such as hydroquinone and mercury, which can lead to permanent skin discolouration or kidney damage. Some products are illegal. There is no suggestion that Lactacyd White Intimate or Nivea products are illegal or contain hydroquinone or mercury.

Critics of the whitening trend, such as Kultida Samabuddhi of the Bangkok Post, who wrote an opinion piece on the whitening feminine wash, say such products have changed the country’s value system.

“As the definition of beauty has been changed by cosmetic industry, Thai women who fail to meet the beauty standards set by cosmetic producers and ad agencies have to struggle very hard to maintain their self-esteem,” she told the Guardian.

But the skin-whitening craze looks set to continue. The male market is yet to be fully tapped, said Ohl, who added that future variants of Lactacyd White Intimate would be formulated to include anti-ageing properties, “so you can keep intimate parts fresh and young” as well.

Huda Beauty Vagina-Lightening Blog Post Sparks Controversy Online

It goes without saying that beauty mogul Huda Kattan, founder of the eponymous makeup line, has broken barriers as one of the few Muslim women to find huge success as a blogger and business owner. And while her fame has no doubt been a major step forward for diversity in the beauty industry, an April 2018 blog post from her site sends a confusing message. The title: “Why Your Vagina Gets Dark And How To Lighten It.

“We’re busting myths as to why lightning your lady parts with natural ingredients may not be working, and how you can actually improve it (if that’s what you want!),” reads a sentence from the introductory paragraph. But the truth is, there’s literally nothing to “improve.” The post then goes into demystifying “DIY vagina lightening hacks,” using ingredients like lemon juice, yogurt, coconut oil, and egg whites. While the “hacks” explore ways to lighten your vagina, they seem to be referring to the vulva instead. (Note: It’s usually a good idea to consult your OB/GYN and dermatologist before putting topical ingredients on your vagina or vulva).

The five tips to “lighten the color down there” are not without other issues. The first item on the list recommends that readers “reach [their] ideal weight,” adding that “excess weight can lead to friction, which can cause darkening.” Fat-shaming undertones aside, it also oversimplifies a cause of genital hyperpigmentation to a number on a scale.

We also need to talk about the politics of colorism and skin lightening (especially in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African countries) here; skin-bleaching or -whitening creams continue to show up across beauty counters in many countries.

Commenters didn’t hesitate to call the blogger out on the post, leaving responses like “Gigantic FAIL – Shame on you Huda,” and “So a ‘lighter’ everything is preferred to ‘dark’ …. ?? Even in 2018.” One of the top-voted comments directly called out the hugely problematic undertones, writing, “Love you but this is totally unnecessary and problematic. Now women have to lighten their genitals? This is reminiscent of colorism and racism. Women shouldn’t be expected to lighten any part of their skin. I wish you wouldn’t post stuff like this. Skin whitening is really bad.”

In response to the backlash, the Huda Beauty team issued an update at the top of the post, which reads as follows: “Hey guys, we wanted to address some concern over this topic. We appreciate and respect everyone’s opinions on this subject and want to express that we do not feel lightening your vulva (vagina/ lady parts/ VJJ,) is necessary. Our goal is to give details for those who may wish to, by sharing expert advice from a leading dermatologist. We’ve seen a lot of harmful DIYs on the internet, so we hope this post provides the best information on the topic and offers safe ways for people to do this, should they wish to.”

What is vulvar whitening?

Vulvar whitening is a treatment designed to reverse the signs of discoloration in the vaginal area, providing a more youthful and desirable appearance. It’s completely safe and helps lighten the color of your vulva and labia from dark to pink.

How is vulvar whitening performed?

Vulvar whitening is most often done with a topical cream or gel. These are infused with lightening agents that are delicate enough for the sensitive areas around the vagina. Most are made with only natural ingredients that won’t cause side effects such as rashes or skin irritation.

Combining the topical cream with light treatments can increase the effectiveness and deliver results faster. Laser & Vitality uses the Pixel Perfect laser to ensure your skin lightening is as quick and safe as possible. This gentle laser works in tandem with the creams and gels, providing fast and safe whitening to patients who need more intensive lightening.

The Pixel Perfect laser light also helps stimulate the growth of collagen, which improves the overall look of the area being treated. The result is a more youthful appearance.

What are vulvar whitening products made of?

Unlike other whitening agents, those that are made for the vaginal area contain more natural, rather than chemical, ingredients. They’re infused with vitamins A, E, and C. Before you use any vulvar or vaginal whitening creams, it’s best to consult with a medical professional. and ensure that you’re applying only the safest and most effective products to a sensitive area.

Does vulvar whitening hurt?

Vulvar whitening is completely painless. You might feel some sensation from the topical creams and treatments, but they won’t hurt you. They’re applied and soaked into the body naturally. Vulvar whiteners are comparable to lotion that you’d use on other parts of your body.

If you’re unhappy with the appearance or coloration of your vaginal area, vulvar whitening can be a great treatment. The medical professionals at Laser & Vitality can ensure that the treatment is applied and administered correctly and according to your needs, so you can receive the most effective results as fast as possible. I tried vaginal bleaching on my lunch break as a treat for my boyfriend… and the sex afterwards was ‘incredible’

ENTERING the HB Health Clinic with my boyfriend Freddy, it felt like just like one of our normal spa dates – only today I was in for some pampering of a more intimate kind.

I was booked in for vaginal bleaching. Having just celebrated my 31st birthday in Paris, it seemed like the ideal time to treat myself – and Freddy – to a brighter, more youthful vagina.

Tracy Kiss tried out vaginal whitening and she says it’s rolled back the years

We are approaching our first anniversary together, and a new bright pink vagina seemed the ideal gift to give my boyfriend.

While I’ve never been criticised for the colour or appearance of my intimate area, I certainly feel that as a woman I deserve to take control of my body and seek beauty treatments that help me feel comfortable in my own skin.

Much like putting on a pair of high heels or wearing mascara, when you look your best you feel your best – especially when it comes to spending special moments with a loving partner.

With age, skin in your intimate area darkens and becomes more textured and prune-like. But this procedure helps to reverse that, leaving it soft and pink. It’s the ultimate makeover for mums.

Tracy said the whitening is the perfect anniversary gift for her boyfriend Freddy

Just as I’d imagine men worry about the shape, size and performance of their manhood – totally unnecessarily of course – as a woman I feel the same insecurities about pleasuring my partner after having children.

Vaginal whitening is a quick and convenient procedure, something that fits perfectly into a lunch break.

To have my vagina lasered, I had to have my contraceptive coil removed first as no metal can be inside the womb during the treatment. Switching to the pill was a sensible option for us because it makes family planning more accessible should we wish to have children in the future.

The vagina also has to be dried with a swab to remove moisture. My procedure was performed by Dr Minoo Madhok, who applied a numbing cream to the area while I lay down, protective eyewear in place, with my legs parted as if for a smear test.

Vaginal whitening is a quick and convenient procedure, something that fits perfectly into a lunch break, says Tracy

Tracy had to have her coil removed prior to the procedure

The treatment involved lasering the skin of my labia majora (the outer part of the vagina). After several short bursts of light and a slightly warm sensation, the treatment was complete in around 30 minutes.

It seemed the ideal opportunity to have my vagina tightened at the same time – a very beneficial procedure called MonaLisa Touch that the same laser equipment is most commonly used for.

This time Dr Madhok attached a C02 fractional laser (in the form of a slim metal rod on a handpiece) which was inserted into my vagina and the laser pulses stimulated new collagen production within the vaginal wall.

Vaginal rejuvenation can benefit every woman of child-bearing age upwards and the tightening coupled with the heightened sensation it promises is something that my boyfriend and I are very excited about. It’s reignited the spark from the honeymoon period of our relationship.

Tracy was thrilled that Freddy came along to support her

Similar to the results of having Botox and fillers to the face to remove fine lines and wrinkles, the MonaLisa and vaginal whitening procedure is a total rejuvenation for the vagina that totally turns back the clock.

It’s the most liberating feeling to know that my intimate area is now permanently plumper, brighter and lighter in appearance. To feel attractive “down there” is fantastic and something I couldn’t recommend more highly!

We were meant to abstain for a week but four days later we couldn’t contain ourselves…

After all we normally have sex twice a day.

I have quite a high pain threshold so it only really felt tender for the first couple of days – slightly warm like I had been sat on a heated car seat, but not painful.

Now I don’t feel anything and the slight redness immediately after treatment has faded to a pale skin colour which is lovely.

It’s noticeably ‘plumper’ looking.

And it looks younger because it’s lighter and smoother.

The inner workings are amazing! We were both very excited to find out what it would be like, and whilst we both typically enjoy rather rough fast and hard sex we were slightly cautious and tender which made it feel all the more incredible to make love.

What does the treatment involve and how does it work?

Laser Vaginal Bleaching aims to permanently remove darker coloured tissues in the vaginal area, or even in the perineum.

The operation takes place using a latest-generation special laser, on three or more sessions, depending on the case and is usually every session needs 10-15 minutes to be completed.

Through the laser usage, the removal of the melanin layer present in the sensitive area becomes possible, and thus the source of the undesirable colouring is treated.

The procedure takes place following an appointment and is performed using local anaesthesia.

In the post-operation period, special care should be given to hygienic care of the area, and it is recommended that the first sexual intercourse takes place following 3-4 days after the session.

Vaginal bleaching costs £500 per session, and there’s currently a promotional offer for three sessions for £1,000.

I was expecting it to feel tighter as it states in the description of the treatment which it certainly is, but the sensation is the main difference for me.

It’s like adding an extra level of awareness, everything ‘feels more’ and as such pleasure is heightened. I guess when couples use tingle lubricant to increase blood flow and sensitivity, the inner tissue of the vagina is more responsive and attentive which we both majorly enjoyed.

We only have one body, and I intend to keep mine as healthy, youthful and attractive as possible for (primarily) myself and also my partner – after all, a happy wife is a happy life.

We shouldn’t shy away from intimate health issues, nor hide our insecurities from our partners. If we’re all a little more open and honest about our body hang-ups and concerns then we’d realise that there are treatments and procedures available that can fix almost anything in this day and age!

Freddy says: “I think Tracy is perfect the way she is, but I know she felt insecure about having had children and the effect it had on her body.

Tracy loved the unusual treatment

“If this is something that makes her feel better then I’m glad that it’s quashed her insecurities. Of course I’ll support her with whatever she chooses to do. People should be happy the way that they are, but if there is something that they feel particularly insecure about that can be changed then embarrassment shouldn’t ever stop them.”

Tracy previously had anal bleaching – and said it made her feel like a virgin again.

She also auditioned Freddy at a fertility clinic before they started officially dating.

9 facts about intimate hygiene that every girl should know

“I don’t my vagina” – with these words began the video of American Stevie (she writes a blog about sex education on YouTube), under which the holivar unfolded with 7 thousand comments.

This was in 2014, and two years later, questions about whether you really need to wash yourself every day using special detergents began to appear on the Russian Internet. In particular, sex education activist Tatyana Nikonova and candidate of medical sciences, obstetrician-gynecologist Tatyana Rumyantseva answered them more than once in their blogs.

The dirtiest place in our body is the mouth, but it seems that women are trying to cleanse the vagina. There is almost never a real reason for feeling not clean enough in this area, but men often insist that women give their vaginas a floral scent.

Let’s find out why you need to leave your genitals alone and how to properly care for them to stay healthy.

1. The vagina is a perfectly balanced system

“For millions of years, this part of the body has created its highly efficient cleaning process,” British Consultant Gynecologist Dr. Austin Ugwumadu tells The Daily Mail.

American Gynecologist Dr. Alyssa Dweck confirms: “The vagina is an incredible self-cleaning environment. It has its own ways of maintaining an acidic pH to prevent infections. ”

Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at Yale School of Medicine, advises simply leaving the vagina alone: “Your actions can upset the pH balance or destroy the natural bacterial flora in the vagina, which is essential for health “.

Let’s clarify that the vagina is an acidic environment with a pH level ranging from 3.8 to 4.4. Intimate hygiene products are divided into products with high acidity (pH about 3. 5) and neutral (pH about 5).

Tatiana Rumyantseva, PhD, wrote: “There is one study showing that acidic pH gel combined with standard treatment for bacterial vaginosis can help reduce relapse. But far-reaching conclusions from the results of one study can never be drawn.Even if we believe these data, then such gels are needed only for women with recurrent bacterial vaginosis. ”

The use of pH-neutral intimate hygiene products does not make sense in principle.

About them Rumyantseva says: “They should not bring any harm or benefit to intimate health. There is no evidence to the contrary. ”

And most likely, such a product costs several times more than a regular shower gel or soap that suits you. Rumyantseva adds that “there are now enough pH-neutral gels for the whole body on the market that can be used to wash whole, not parts.”

2. Douching is evil

Women’s forums and even gynecologists advise periodically douching for prophylaxis, for example with chlorhexidine. So, stop it.

Douching often does more harm than good. It can kill the “good” bacteria, including lactobacilli, which we need to maintain our pH balance. Some store-bought douching kits contain fragrances or antiseptics that can seriously irritate the mucous membranes.

The vagina cleans itself, no need to rinse it with water, vinegar or other liquids.

Discharge on the laundry is annoying, but it is not a sign of uncleanness or illness. It is a healthy, normal bodily function.

Discharge can be viewed as a vaginal “barometer”. If you are confident that you have no medical conditions, and your discharge is no different from your normal discharge, then it is usually a sign of healthy estrogen levels, blood flow, and vaginal pH.This is an indicator that the vagina is healthy and able to cleanse itself of irritating substances.

However, if you notice a significant change in the amount, texture, color, or odor of your discharge, you should see your doctor. This could be a sign of infection.

3. The vulva needs to be washed, but there is a possibility that you are doing it wrong

If the vagina cleans itself, then the vulva – the outer part of the genitals, including the labia – should be washed.

In the folds of the vulva there can be bacteria and smegma – an accumulation of sebum and dead epithelial cells. This needs to be rinsed off, but you are probably overdoing it, when hands and a little soap are enough. Rubbing vigorously with a washcloth is also not necessary. If soap is not available, plain water will do just fine.

Soaps that are too scented may cause irritation or an allergic reaction to the vulva.

“We’re talking about the most sensitive tissue in the body, so the less perfume and chemicals the better,” says Dr. Minkin.

Experts advise using a mild, fragrance-free soap, plain glycerin or Castile soap (based on olive oil) will also work.

In addition, it is not necessary to wash your vulva with soap every day. “Excessive cleaning can disrupt the protective layer of the skin,” says Dr. Dweck. Even if you shower twice a day or feel the need to clean up after sex, try to use soap only once.

And then you don’t need to rub the genital area vigorously with a towel – it’s too rough for such a delicate tissue. It is enough to gently pat the surface with a clean towel.

4.Be careful with your bath bombs

A hot bath with scented candles and your favorite TV show is a great relaxing experience. But if you want to add a colored scented bath bomb, your vagina is unlikely to like it.

Dr. Minkin claims that bath bombs, like bubble baths, can disrupt vaginal pH. As a reminder, this can make you more susceptible to irritation or infections.

This does not mean that you have to throw away all your bath products.Just cut back on their use to one to two times a month. And don’t use bombs if you already have itching or irritation. Also watch for similar unpleasant symptoms after using new products.

5. Each vagina has its own unique odor, and this is normal

Smell is often the cause of concern, but it is not an indicator of impurity. This is just an indication that you have a vagina.

Every woman has her own unique vaginal odor, which can change depending on the menstrual cycle and diet. And this is completely normal.

No need to try to disguise it with special perfumes, this is very irritating to the vulva.

It is worth remembering your smell and noticing when it changes, especially if additional symptoms such as itching appear. This is a reason to go to the doctor.

6. Scented pads should be thrown away

Perfumed pads and tampons are harsh and should definitely not be near the sensitive tissue of the vulva or vagina.

“Scented tampons can upset the pH balance in the vagina and cause irritation or an allergic reaction, so it is best to opt for fragrance-free options,” says Dr. Dweck.

For the rest, it doesn’t matter what type of pads or tampons you use: natural or synthetic, with a plastic applicator or cardboard. The main thing is that the hygiene products are not perfumed.

7. High-quality and comfortable underwear is very important

You probably have super uncomfortable, unpleasantly tight underwear that you can’t throw away. The time has come: get rid of all the underpants that don’t suit you.

Experts recommend cotton underwear, or at least options with a cotton gusset. But you wear thongs or “family members” – it doesn’t matter if they are comfortable and allow the skin to breathe.

If the genitals do not have access to air, it increases the risk of a yeast infection. Yeast thrives in warm and humid places, so it’s not a good idea to sit in air-impermeable underwear all day.

8. Most irritations are caused by everyday cosmetics

“The main cause of vulvar irritation is allergies or sensitivities to ingredients in the products we use every day. They can cause itching and abnormal discharge, ”says Dr. Dweck.

These products can be lotions, soaps, shaving creams, sprays, shower gels, and anything else that comes into contact (directly or indirectly) with your vulva or vagina.

Wet wipes, if used for intimate hygiene, can also cause irritation. “Beware of wet wipes: the chemicals in them can cause rashes from the vulva to the anus,” says Dr. Dweck.

For your own safety, buy odorless products with a minimum of ingredients. Leave the trendy lotions for your feet and hands.

9. The vulva should be checked regularly for skin cancer

Just because the genitals are usually not exposed to sunlight does not mean that there cannot be skin cancer or something else.

Therefore, doctors advise to check the vulva and the surrounding skin using a speculum. This will help identify changes. Look for new moles, birthmarks, and frequent scratches on your skin.

If you notice anything strange, see a dermatologist.

So, it’s worth remembering this:

  1. The vagina cleans itself.
  2. Douching does more harm than good.
  3. The vulva should be washed no more than once a day with plain water or with unscented soap.
