The Details on Tiffany’s New Engagement Ring
The Tiffany True is a modern design for the 21st century bride
by Marion Fasel
Tiffany invented the modern engagement. Founder Charles Lewis Tiffany conceived the Tiffany Setting in 1886. The meticulous design had six-prongs lifting a round diamond above a slender gold ring. It put the gem on a pedestal and let it shine. The design has become quite literally the symbol of what an engagement ring looks like. One popular culture example of its icon status: the emoji for an engagement ring is a diamond in a six-prong setting.
Over the years Tiffany has, of course, designed countless other engagement ring styles, but the new one being released today feels different. It has the spirit of the Tiffany Setting. It also has a totally contemporary quality. The balance of looking forward and back is not easy to accomplish in a minimalist design. Tiffany managed to do it with striking details that show it understands what bride’s want now as much as it did way back when.

The diamond at the center comes with Tiffany’s promise that it was sustainably sourced. Each center stone is cut from a rough diamond into a new gem shape invented by Tiffany. Dubbed the Tiffany True, the square-mixed cut shape acknowledges how popular square and rectangular diamonds have become in engagement rings. The Tiffany True has a large table (the main facet on the top) for maximum dispersion of light. The gem has been designed specifically to sit low on a women’s hand, a quality so many bride’s want in their engagement ring today.

The prongs holding the stone are engineered to be streamlined and discreet so they don’t distract from the brilliance of the diamond. The basket holding the gem is subtly decorated with a “T” shape. It’s a smart design decision to discreetly brand the ring. Much in the same way women take pride in their love of certain clothing designers, they want to have that quality label on their jewelry.
There have also been legal issues about the Tiffany Setting over the years where other engagement ring creators have idiotically claimed the design of the Tiffany Setting was generic. Obviously, it’s not. It was conceived by Tiffany who has won court battles proving as much. The “T” on the True nips any future legal battles in the bud.

The band of Tiffany True ring is sleek. Similar to the way the Tiffany Setting has a beveled edge that echoes the heightened setting of the round brilliant, the Tiffany True ring is gently geometrically sculpted mirroring the square shape of the stone.
The Tiffany True is available with white diamonds in platinum and yellow diamonds in yellow gold. The sunshine metal is a hat tip to the yellow gold ring on the original Tiffany Setting made in 1886.
The Tiffany True is available in Tiffany stores today. It will launch online in October, 2018.

Tiffany & Co. Debuts New Engagement Ring Design Called the “Tiffany True”
It’s been nearly a decade since Tiffany & Co. last released an engagement ring style tailored to its iconic brand, but starting Wednesday, Sept. 18, the luxe jewelry company will introduce a new cut to its long line of reputable stones: Tiffany True.
According to Melvyn Kirtley, chief gemologist and Vice President of Global Category Marketing at Tiffany & Co., the new Tiffany True cut is poised to become a “modern classic. ”
The design boasts of a larger exposed surface area than on any other diamond cut, which will help show off the quality of the stone itself. This is achieved through heightened contrast and dispersed light, completely designed to be minimal and ultimately, ideal for the more subdued, luxury-seeking couples.

“Each diamond reflects Tiffany’s commitment to selecting only superb quality and sustainably sourced stones,” Kirtley tells The Knot exclusively. “The cut of the Tiffany True diamond enhances the brilliance of each stone by exposing more surface area on the diamond’s main facet. The architectural T-shaped design in the setting subtly brands the ring while showcasing the brilliance of the True cut diamond.”
Tiffany True will be available in two options: either a platinum band with a white Tiffany True cut diamond, or an 18K yellow gold band featuring a yellow cushion cut diamond. Prices start at $7,000 and run well into six figures.

The diamond cut also lends itself to an especially delicate band, sculpted so that its own reflectiveness won’t compete with the stone, with the basket’s subtle prongs blending seamlessly into the diamond. This is reflective of the brand’s core identity founded on the Tiffany Setting, a classic solitaire diamond which has become one of the most in-demand engagement ring styles in the last century.
The brand first released its iconic namesake Tiffany Setting back in 1886. Other cuts to have subsequently been introduced by Tiffany & Co. include the Harmony, the Novo and the Soleste.
“In this little object you have so much in terms of newness,” Tiffany & Co.’s CEO Alessandro Bogliolo told Fortune in a recent interview. “The setting is subtle, not in your face.”
In a 2017 study conducted by The Knot, it was revealed that the average spending on engagement rings has gone up 25 percent since 2011, from $5,095 to $6,351. The average amount of time that individuals spend looking for the perfect engagement ring hasn’t changed that much, however, with the average length of time hovering somewhere around three-and-a-half months.

And interestingly, couples in the survey told us that they looked at an average of 26 rings before deciding on The One; maybe Tiffany & Co.’s new Tiffany True cut will help to whittle that number down?

The Tiffany® Setting is widely considered the most famous engagement rings in the world. Its timeless solitaire silhouette feels ubiquitous in the world of not only bridal jewelry but popular culture in general. Its relevance runs the gamut from President Franklin Roosevelt purchasing Eleanor’s ring from Tiffany & Co. all the way to Charlotte’s unforgettable “all righty” proposal in Sex and the City.
What Is the Tiffany® Setting?
The Tiffany® Setting features six prongs and a round brilliant-cut diamond in the center. The setting is available in platinum, yellow gold, and rose gold, with platinum typically being the most popular choice amongst brides-to-be.
This silhouette “lifts the diamond off the band and into the light, allowing it to sparkle and take center stage,” Tiffany & Co. chief gemologist and vice president of merchandising Victoria Wirth Reynolds told Brides.

Victoria Wirth Reynolds is the chief gemologist and vice president of global merchandising at Tiffany & Co. She received a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America in 1991 and has worked at Tiffany since 1987.
Ahead, discover the history of the setting that forever altered and improved the history of engagement rings.
The History of the Tiffany® Setting
Founder Charles Lewis Tiffany introduced the Tiffany® Setting in 1886 with the “vision to create a ring that highlighted the beauty of Tiffany’s brilliant-cut diamonds,” Reynolds says. “Over 130 years later, the Tiffany® Setting is still the world’s most popular and desired engagement ring.”
A noteworthy reason why this setting was such a game-changer is the context of ring settings at the time it was created, most of which were bezel instead of prong. “Before the Tiffany® Setting, diamond rings were typically set much lower on the finger, held in place by very short prongs or bezels embedded within the band,” Reynolds explains. “The Tiffany® Setting was the first to lift the diamond into the light.”
How to Care for Your Tiffany Engagement Ring
Purchasing a Tiffany engagement ring ensures superlative care for a lifetime. “This includes a complimentary service which not only ensures that your diamonds or gemstones are cleaned, it also includes routine checks (every six months) that the stones are secure in their settings,” Reynolds notes.

Tiffany True ring – Tiffany & Co. – Idiome
A new engagement ring design and innovative diamond cut
Meet Tiffany True, the new Tiffany & Co. engagement ring that’s destined to become another icon of the house. With a contoured diamond cut that maximizes brilliance, light and contrast—the ring adds a new contemporary design to Tiffany & Co.’s legendary engagement collection.
Tiffany True enhances this legacy and provides a new representation of love today—adding geometric lines and ultra-fine details to make this ring a modern masterpiece.
“Tiffany has symbolized the ultimate in love and commitment since 1886 with the invention of the original Tiffany® Setting. Now, the launch of Tiffany True with its unique setting and expert cut, we are introducing a supreme expression of modern love,” says Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co., chief artistic officer. The Cut Of the four Cs—clarity, carat, color and cut—three are determined by nature. Only one, the cut, is created by human hands and Tiffany & Co. artisans make the difference.
Named Tiffany True for its genuine ability to captivate, this new fancy-cut diamond exposes more surface area on the diamond’s main facet, enhancing its luster through heightened contrast and dispersed light. In the Tiffany tradition, Tiffany True favors beauty over the weight of the diamond.
The Tiffany True engagement ring is minimal, architecturally constructed and discreetly marked on the side with a “T”, a subtle detail that is personal to the wearer. Designed to sit low on the finger, this ring has an especially delicate band that has been sculpted to reflect light in a way that does not compete with the stone. The basket’s delicate prongs blend seamlessly into the diamond, making it appear even more brilliant and stunningly pure.
The Sustainable Difference
Protecting the natural world that inspires the jewelry lies at the heart of the Tiffany culture. As a leader in sustainable luxury, Tiffany & Co. sources their diamonds and precious metals and craft their jewelry in ways that are ethically and environmentally responsible to make Tiffany a brand you can be proud to wear. After the diamonds begin their journey at an approved mine, they’re cut in state-of-the-art workshops, ensuring the gems are always in the hands of responsible, highly skilled craftsmen. From the rough to the refined, the Tiffany True diamond is entrusted only to expert craftsmen who produce their art to the highest level.
Available with a white, Tiffany True cut diamond set in a platinum band, or with a Fancy Yellow cushion modified brilliant diamond set in an 18k gold band, Tiffany True debuts worldwide in 2019.
Tiffany’s Unveils New Engagement Line: Tiffany True
Famed jeweler Tiffany & Co. has lifted the veil on the company’s upcoming jewelry collection, Tiffany True, its first new engagement line in nearly a decade. The newly designed engagement ring at the core of the collection features a new cut of diamond, and its setting is designed so that its four link sides create a basket for the ring, allowing it to sit lower on the finger for a more modern feel.“Tiffany has symbolized the ultimate in love and commitment since 1886 with the invention of the original Tiffany Setting. Now, the launch of Tiffany True with its unique setting and expert cut, we are introducing a supreme expression of modern love,” said Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co.’s Chief Artistic Officer. The company says that its geometric lines and ultra-fine details make this ring a modern masterpiece.
The ring can be personalized—platinum with white diamonds, or 18K yellow gold with yellow diamonds. Prices start at $7,000 and can run well into six figures. The new fancy-cut diamond exposes more surface area on the diamond’s main facet. The company describes the Tiffany True engagement ring as minimal, architecturally constructed and discreetly marked on the side with a “T,” a subtle detail that is personal to the wearer. The jeweler has also introduced chain bracelets and rings composed of interlocking Ts , whichhave been given a faceted finish to reflect the company’s diamond heritage. “Refined, strong and structured, the new Tiffany T designs make a powerful statement with the Tiffany T interlock featuring the iconic motif in a bold new way.”
The collection fits into CEO Alessandro Bogliolo’s mission of updating a jeweler many have come to see as bound too fast to tradition. “In this little object you have so much in terms of newness.” As Phil Wahba writes for Fortune, “much of Tiffany’s revenue comes from decades-old collections by Elsa Peretti (which alone generates 9% of sales) and Paloma Picasso. And Tiffany’s bestselling collection remains its classic namesake engagement ring with a six-prong setting, introduced in 1886.” Bogliolo told him that Tiffany needed a shake-up, saying that as with many old companies, caution had set into the culture.
Tiffany Debuts Campaign for New Engagement Ring Tiffany True – JCK
In September 2018, Tiffany debuted the Tiffany True ring, its first new engagement ring style in nearly a decade.
Designed by Reed Krakoff, who Tiffany named chief artistic officer in 2017, the ring is only now getting a proper marketing push—as the subject of the brand’s latest “Believe in Love” campaign, which launched globally on Monday.
Central to the campaign is a short black-and-white film that artfully captures intimate moments (things like hand-holding and hair-smoothing) between a man and a woman—and her Tiffany True ring.
The video is set to Lady Gaga’s original song “Is That Alright?” from the film A Star Is Born. Gaga has been a very visible ambassador for Tiffany in recent seasons—she wore pieces from the brand to nearly every awards show this year and took the iconic Tiffany Diamond for a spin at the Oscars.

The Tiffany True ring features a new diamond cut devised by Tiffany & Co. ’s team of experts, my JCK colleague Amy Elliott reported back in September. It’s a “square mixed cut engineered for maximum brilliance,” according to the company, that “exposes more surface area on the diamond’s main facet, enhancing its luster through heightened contrast and dispersed light.”
Krakoff said at the time, “We are introducing a supreme expression of modern love.”

Here’s What Tiffany’s New Engagement Ring Looks Like
New York—Tiffany & Co.’s CEO teased an “innovative diamond ring concept” during the company’s second quarter earnings call last month, and now it’s here.
Called Tiffany True, it is the jeweler’s first new engagement ring line since 2011, when it introduced Harmony, and the first with a dedicated diamond cut since Tiffany Lucida in 1999.
With this collection, the New York-based jeweler has created what it described as a “modern masterpiece;” a clean-looking engagement ring with sleek architectural lines and a diamond that sits low on the finger, “making it functional for the modern woman.”
The setting of Tiffany True also contains a subtle detail and nod to the 181-year-old jeweler, as a beveled “T” is visible when viewed from the side.
Chief Artistic Officer Reed Krakoff called it a “supreme expression of modern love.”

The minimalistic design of Tiffany True echoes what many independent jewelers reported to National Jeweler for the 50 Jewelers/50 States series in 2017: Consumers today are leaning toward cleaner styles for engagement rings, trending away from halos and fussy floral settings to simple, prong-set solitaires.
And for Tiffany, it seems simplicity never went out of style. The six-prong Tiffany Setting, which it created in 1886 and has gone to great lengths to protect, remains its No. 1 seller.
Rings in the Tiffany True line are available in platinum or 18-karat yellow gold.
The platinum rings are set with a mixed-cut white diamond that combines a brilliant-cut pavilion with a step-cut crown that Tiffany said was engineered for maximum brilliance. Although the diamond has a name—it’s also called Tiffany True—and was created specifically for this collection, a company spokesperson confirmed that it is not a patented cut.
The yellow gold versions are set with cushion-cut yellow diamonds.
Prices in the Tiffany True line start at $7,000 and go up to $197,000+. It will be in stores in North America this autumn and go worldwide in 2019.
Tiffany True is the second line designed under Reed Krakoff, who succeeded Francesca Amfitheatrof as the company’s head of design in February 2017. He introduced his first collection, “Paper Flowers,” this past spring.
It’s also the second collection to come out since former Diesel boss Alessandro Bogliolo took over as CEO in July 2017.

As Salvador Dali argued, “jewelry can only be worn by women who treat them with the greatest disdain.” Excessive seriousness only spoils everything: if you have diamonds, you need to take them lightly.

And the brilliant Elizabeth Taylor, who possessed perhaps the most impressive collection of jewelry, in her book “My Affair with Jewelry” set an example of how to treat them: with understanding, respect and humor.
Perhaps one of the most controversial topics for my clients is how to wear jewelry correctly: is there a special etiquette, is it possible to combine cold and warm metals, are large diamonds relevant during the day, how to choose the right precious stones for a particular color of a dress, how much rings can be worn on one hand at a time? This list of questions is endless. But once one pragmatic lady noticed that there can be infinitely many outfits in any girl’s wardrobe, but with diamonds, things are usually a little more modest. So how do you find jewelry for all occasions? The answer was on the surface: if the concept of “basic wardrobe” is applicable to clothing, why not try it on to jewelry?
We have long been associated with the Tiffany company not only by the love of impeccable jewelry, but also by tender friendship, so it was decided to collect the “basic wardrobe” from their collection. And today we have chosen three must-have jewelry.
Tiffany T bracelet with diamonds in white gold
Tiffany T is a true fashion icon. This collection is about style in its purest form, without unnecessary pathos. The Tiffany T bracelet is designed to live with you every day, not lie in a case: it fits perfectly on your wrist and blends perfectly with your Tiffany jewelry as well as your favorite pieces. With this bracelet, we have created two different moods, which speak of one thing: you can change outfits or choose a variety of jewelry, but one thing will remain unchanged – this bracelet will perfectly fit into any look.

Several bracelets on one wrist are a spectacular move, especially when you combine metals of different colors. The image can be enhanced by putting several massive rings on the fingers of the same hand. The main rule: if you load one hand with jewelry, it is better to leave the other free or wear one ring or bracelet.
A light summer look is woven from delicate openwork jewelry: thin links of chains, keys and inscriptions, as if by hand, and, of course, a Tiffany T. bracelet.
Solitaire earrings in platinum with diamonds
Stud earrings have been a typical masculine adornment from the very beginning of their invention. It was only much later that women borrowed it from them. Later, the military wore earrings donated by their beloved ladies: the beauties sought to protect their men from a stray bullet. This is how the common saying “for a dear friend and an earring from an ear” appeared. But if you go back to the recent past, then until the 50s, large diamonds in the ears were considered exclusively an evening decoration, and wearing them during the day was bad manners. This tradition was changed by female students of prestigious educational institutions: they put on earrings with diamonds under a discreet shape, thus demonstrating their position in society.Partly thanks to them, today diamond studs are an adornment that is appropriate at any time of the day and at any event. Tiffany Solitaire Earrings are the next piece in our “wardrobe staple”.

One of the main jewelry trends is “all at once”.You can afford to wear earrings, brooches and necklaces, even if they are close together. Another trendy idea is to separate the sets of earrings and wear an unpaired set. For example, a diamond stud in one ear and something more massive or fancy in the other. Brave, but worth it.
Diamonds in the ears and a thin silver ring on the finger: don’t be too serious and allow yourself this set for a relaxed daytime look.
Tiffany Embrace ring with diamonds in platinum
In centuries past, diamonds have been associated with power rather than feelings. It was in the 19th and 20th centuries that radical changes took place, and the diamond began to symbolize love and seriousness of intentions – thanks in large part to the Tiffany and the appearance of the engagement ring
with a central solitaire stone, as well as to the development of modern cutting methods, allowing to reveal the brilliance and beauty of the stone.A Tiffany Embrace ring will organically complement a delicate look, but if the wearer needs to show character and gather her spirit, the best totem is also difficult to imagine.

Classic is a win-win solution.Jewelry with diamond tracks create a light shimmer and atmosphere of celebration and fairy tale.
Diamonds are not always meant to play a solo part. Let the chunky men’s watch and the wide silver bracelet draw attention to you. In the end, turn your jewelry experiment into an aesthetic game for the most attentive. And let others see what you show them.

True love, like a diamond, requires a lot of work and patience to become truly durable and precious. Believing this belief to be true has helped Tiffany & Co. jewelers for over 100 years. prove it with our own example – the iconic collection of Tiffany Setting engagement rings with a central diamond enclosed in six delicate claw fasteners.
The new Tiffany True engagement ring not only continues the tradition of the brand, but, according to creative director Reed Krakoff, has become the embodiment of modern love.Available in two variations – platinum with a colorless diamond and yellow gold with a Fancy Yellow cushion-cut diamond with rounded corners – the wedding jewelry seamlessly combines clear geometric lines and sophisticated details.
“There are several things about the Tiffany True: one of them is the abstract T frame. It has only four valves, not six. The overall feel of the decoration is more modern and graphic. In addition, the setting of the stone should be noted – it is located much lower in comparison with the Tiffany Setting and looks more elegant, ”says creative director of the brand Reed Krakoff.

The spirit of modernity has also touched a rather conservative side of the jewelry process: for this model, Tiffany & Co. developed a special square cut, first introduced in September 2018. The Tiffany True top has a wider surface that enhances shimmer and light play through increased contrast and light dispersion.
Tiffany True is the first timepiece of the brand to be created with the full transparency of the provenance of diamonds. As a reminder, in January of this year, Tiffany & Co. announced that they would refuse to purchase diamonds of unknown origin and began to provide buyers with information on the provenance of precious stones used in products. The company plans to become the first brand in the industry by 2020 to provide clients with unique information about the geography of cutting and polishing their diamonds.
“Sustainability and responsible mining have long been priorities for Tiffany & Co., as well as leveraging our credibility to positively change the industry. We are committed to taking these standards to the next level, focusing on transparency in the precious metals and diamonds supply chain. We dive deeply into the social, economic and environmental aspects of the process of mining and processing of precious metals in order to bring positive changes throughout the entire chain – from the place of extraction to the final consumer. We want our customers to know that the jewelry they buy from us is created by a company that values our planet and the people involved in jewelry making, ”says Anisa Camadoli Costa, Director of Sustainability, Tiffany & Co.

If you do not know which ring is better to choose, it is better to give preference to the win-win option – the classic.
Subsequently, you will be able to choose wedding rings with your bride, which will ideally match the engagement ring and will look like a perfect duet on the girl’s ring finger.
Non-ferrous and metal
When choosing the perfect ring for your chosen one, it is also important to decide on the color and metal of the jewelry.Pay attention to the jewelry your girlfriend is wearing. If they are mostly silver in color, then it is better to choose a ring made of white metal – platinum or white gold, but if she prefers yellow gold, it is better to give such a ring so that your future spouse can combine jewelry. European and American jewelry houses, unlike Russian manufacturers, use gold of a higher 750 standard in their products.
Engagement ring size
Another important nuance is to choose the right size. The wedding ring is worn on the ring finger of the right (in Russia) or left (in the USA and Europe) hand. It’s great if the girl has another ring that she wears on this finger. Often the size is indicated on the inside of the product. If no size is specified, you can attach the ring to the sizing templates (http://www.ringsizes.co/sizingtool.pdf) to find the best fit or measure the inner circumference of the ring using a strip of paper. The inner circumference in millimeters will correspond to the European size (from the table you can determine the US size, if necessary).Another option is to place the ring on your finger, making a mark where the ring will sit as tightly as possible. Further, the consultant My Michelle will select the desired size using a special device – a finger gauge.
If the girl does not have a suitable ring, or you cannot measure it, determining the size is more difficult, but still possible. You can print and cut a sizing strip (http://www.ringsizes.co/sizingtool.pdf) and wrap it around the girl’s finger when she sleeps.Make sure only to use 100% scale when printing the template.
Tiffany & Co. offer a very practical way out – all Tiffany engagement rings are available in size 6 (US), after the marriage proposal, you and the bride can come to any of their official boutique and the ring will be reduced or enlarged for free so that it fits your darling exactly.
On our website we have selected a unique collection of engagement rings (http: // www.mymichelle.org/#!engagement-rings/cfho), which combines classic and modern designs. All rings, from the laconic to the most luxurious, celebrate the timeless ideals of femininity, elegance and grace.
My Michelle consultants help you find jewelry that fully reflects the desires of their clients, providing them with special attention.

Tiffany Wedding Rings – Products for Connoisseurs of Jewelry Beauty
For more than one century it has kept its charm, luxury and unique style. It all began back in 1837, when school friends Charles Tiffany and John Young opened a small stationery shop on Broadway. Their business did not bring big profits then. But the young people did not despair and decided to try their luck in another matter.
They later set up a factory to manufacture their own jewelry and the company was taken over by Tiffany. In the middle of the 19th century, overseas jewelry and precious stones, including diamonds, were imported to the United States in huge quantities. This became the impetus for the development of the jewelry business of young people. In 1867, at the Paris Jewelry Exhibition, the founders of the company won a prize for beautiful silver wedding rings. Over time, the Tiffany & Co company became famous in the world.
She owns several unique developments:

Tiffany style products are unique and varied. Most jewelry can rightfully be considered true works of art.Collaboration with the world’s leading designers helped raise the level of skill of the company, for example, with Jean Schlumberger and Paloma Picasso, the youngest daughter of the famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.
They believed that every piece of jewelry was meant to be worn and not kept in safes, periodically examining it. This is especially true for wedding rings. For many noble people, they have become a real family heirloom that emphasizes status and is inherited through the female line.
The company has ancient roots, but it continues to follow fashion and every year it never ceases to amaze with its novelties. The famous brand has many fans, including famous businessmen, politicians, athletes, Hollywood stars and influential people in society. Today the word Tiffany is on a par with such concepts as style, charm, elegance, sophistication, luxury and beauty.
Style and quality of accessories
The company’s products are fashionable and of high quality. It is not for nothing that connoisseurs of jewelry craftsmanship often think about how much Tiffany jewelry costs. Wedding rings are expensive accessories.
They are original, stylish, elegant and have a number of features:
- They must contain precious stones – one or more. They can be precious, semi-precious, or artificial. In most cases, jewelers use colorless diamonds. They bring luxury and beauty, especially when they shine in the sun.
- Jewelry is made of precious metals of the highest standard, such as red, yellow or white gold, silver and platinum. Metal is perfectly processed from different sides. At the same time, great attention is paid to every detail.
- Products can be with special cut and engraving. This makes them unique and original.
- The classic frame is taken out of the product. It consists of thin teeth that hold the stone so that it shimmers even more due to the light in its edges.
Gem – the favorite of the stylish woman
Recently, not only smooth wedding rings are in fashion, but also models creatively decorated with different stones. Tiffany’s specialists are careful about their choice. For example, not every diamond in its natural properties can meet strict selection criteria.
The following types of stones are often used for the manufacture of wedding rings:
- A variety of garnet – the semi-precious mineral tsavorite. It is hard and green in color, so it resembles an emerald. Tsavorite is rarely found in nature, but is widely used in jewelry. The mineral is believed to bring wealth and get rid of bad energy in the home.
- Tanzanite is a gem, unique in its qualities. It is difficult to handle as it has a solid base. This mineral has a rich color range. Tanzanite can be a good talisman: it provides people with a career and harmony in family relationships.
- Moissanite is a rare mineral of meteorite origin that rivals the diamond. It is transparent and clean as a tear. Scientists are still studying its properties and surface structure. Many people believe that moissanite is the heavenly patron.
- Diamond is a cut diamond with unique characteristics. It is the hardest and most lustrous mineral known. Jewelers estimate it by diameter, not weight. Not only crystal clear, but also colored diamonds of delicate shades, for example, yellow, are in great demand. Due to its warm glow, this stone is called “inner fire”. Diamond owners are confident and successful women who clearly know what they want from life.
Design and construction
For many decades, the American company has been a leader in bridal jewelry fashion. Her secret lies in the fact that in her collections she masterfully combines classical jewelry design with original ideas. Every girl or woman will find a suitable product to her taste.
Wedding rings are presented in several versions:
- Thin, smooth delicate items with small stones in metal.
- Classic models with a round elegant diamond.
- Rings with “Love” engraving. The gem is in place of the O in the English word for love.
- Rings with diamonds all over the bezel or with several stones on the obverse.
- Products combining different types of metals and stones.
- In many collections there are paired rings, which are made in a single design solution. Sometimes a woman’s ring is thinner than a man’s.
Often romantic and overly sentimental people dream of jewelry that can be worn before the wedding, and then made their family heirloom. We are talking about engagement rings, which are also in the Tiffany range of jewelry. Unlike wedding rings, engagement products are made with one stone.
They will be a welcome gift for a young bride. There are some peculiarities here too:
- Different shapes of rings – from simple to pretentious.
- Noble metals: gold, silver, platinum.
- The stone as an element of decoration can be of different shapes: round, square with rounded corners or in the form of a heart.Sometimes cut in the form of a rectangular truncated pyramid is used.

The famous jewelry company Tiffany & Co was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany. Already in 1867, the company received the Grand Prix for its silver rings at the Paris Jewelry Exhibition.
Since then, the word “Tiffany” has become synonymous with impeccable taste and expensive refined elegance. This company became especially famous after the release in 1961 of the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.
It was Tiffany who made the first American and then the world standard 925 silver.
The company, which owns one of the richest diamond mines in South America, pioneered the fashion of colored diamonds by skillfully cutting them to display their unrivaled beauty.
Thanks to Tiffany, today stones are judged not only by size, but also by the quality of the cut.
The company’s cutters have turned their business into a real art, in which no one can reach equal heights with them. The most famous Tiffany jewels have been designed by renowned craftsmen such as Louis Comfort Tiffany, Jean Schlumberger and Paloma Picasso.
The famous light turquoise and white box from Tiffany is a cherished dream and the object of secret desires of many women.
The wedding rings of the jewelry house are distinguished by their special beauty, achieved due to the special cut of stones and the setting, which further emphasizes the fabulous shine of diamonds.
A classic setting from Tiffany – this is a thin “paws” that hold the stone above the surface of the ring so that the natural brilliance of the diamond is enhanced many times due to the refraction of light on its edges.
It should be noted that the firm is very picky when choosing stones for its jewelry : only about 10% of diamonds meet the strict selection criteria established by the company’s rules.
Let’s take a look at the most famous models of wedding rings from Tiffany, and find out their price.

How to avoid cheating when buying
Tiffany’s jewelry is quite expensive, high-status items.
Naturally, there are many firms on the market that offer copies of Tiffany’s wedding rings for a very reasonable price.
It is even worse when a company or jewelry store offers counterfeits at the price of the originals.
It takes an experienced jeweler to determine the authenticity of this brand’s rings.
