While the cards were of expected quality, it was a negative customer service experience at my local Staples store. Long line, the employee was unable to locate my cards, and I had to come back again to pick them up.

I paid $5 for 10lb shedding that expired May 27th. When I went to the register to paid for 9lb shedding with my coupon, I was told that I have to pay for about $3. 50 more for 9lb shedding. She said that I only paid $5 so I have to pay for the extra 4lb of shedding. She saw the coupon but refused to read the terms.

I have used the coupon multiple times at that location with no problems and the process was easy. I didn’t want to argue for $3.50, so I paid. I wish the checkout person can be nicer.

I simply wanted passport photos to be printed, which I had done before at a different Staples location (very quickly and flawlessly, I might add). However, here it took me 10 minutes to be acknowledged at all, and once I stated that I wanted passport photos printed they told me, “We can’t do that here,” with no explanation why, despite me asking. I asked if they could just print it out on regular photo paper. They said they only had 8.5 x 11, which was fine by me; I could cut out the photos as long as they were sized properly. The answer was still no.
Finally, the peeved woman in charge of the printing department said that she could do it, but only 1 copy instead of 3 and I would have to wait 45 minutes. (So you can print 1 copy, but not 3? Can you not just print the same file 3 times?)
I said a polite thank you, and marched down the plaza to get my photos printed by CVS, where the service was friendly, efficient, and cheap. I’m not sure why anyone would patronize this Staples if a simple print job like this befuddles their printing department.

I had 10 11×17″ posters to print from a pdf, where the preview in the app was giving me a warning on low resolution. Staff was extremely helpful and the color glossy posters turned out perfectly fine! Will definitely come back for printing, but also for craft supplies — I found in the store a beautiful red Staples Tri project board, just what I needed!

Horrible. I placed an order to pick up business cards on the same day and this location was not able to execute on this. They did not take any fault on this and was unable to provide me with any contact information for there manager!!! When you advertise on your website same day pick up- than you need to follow through! Otherwise, I would not have used your service and gone to FedEx !!!

I 1st went to the ups store and the lady was no help all she said is read the instructions #+÷%!#! Ugh i readr and reread printer instructions tried making a 2 sided color copy and it wasn’t working 4 me so after 4 attemps and paying 4 it i couldnt get it to work 4 me. I handed the paid copy card 2 the lady on my way out – i said there is still money on it give it 2 someone who may need it I’m going 2 staples- then she asked do u want me 2 make the copies 4 u ugh…really….i said no I’m going 2 staples.
I got excellent service copies were made 4 me with a SMILE – STTESS FREE AND QUICK ” oh yes!”

A Private User

I went into this Staples Store located at Menlo Park because I was looking for a new laptop. When I talked to one of their associates, I found them lacking as far as knowledge on product knowledge. After listening to the associate pitch the protection plan that they suggest to add to the system, I declined the protection plan and then was told that the item was not in stock. However doing some research online regarding this store, I discovered that the staff would lie to customers about having the item out of stock if they did not purchase the plan. Also I found the Store Manager to be particularly rude and it was obvious that all she was interested in was trying to nickel and dime me for every product I was interested in. There have also been incidences where I felt that the staff was stalking me around the store.

After shopping at this store, it is obvious that the Store Manager has not done any type of training with her staff. She herself is very unprofessional in the way she conducts herself. I would never shop in this store again, and I suggest that any customer who would like to be treated with any dignity do the same.

Morgan and other financiers, founded the Edison Electric Light Company in New York, which produced 3/4 of incandescent lamps in the United States by the end of 1883. In 1882, Edison built New York City’s first distribution substation serving Pearl Street and 59 customers in Manhattan, and founded Edison General Electric to manufacture power generators, light bulbs, cables and lighting fixtures.To conquer the market, Edison set the selling price of the bulb at 40 cents at a cost of 110 cents. Edison and Lodygin

Alexander Galitsky – Managing Partner of Almaz Capital Partners – a venture capital fund built on the basis of a “bridge” model with offices in Moscow (Russia) and Menlo Park (California, USA), created in 2008 with the participation of such anchor investors as Cisco, EBRD and IFC.Alexander is a renowned technology entrepreneur and inventor, founder and CEO of many successful technology companies in Russia, Europe and the United States. Prior to creating Almaz Capital Partners, Alexander built an investment practice in information and communication technologies in the Russian Technologies venture fund, one of the first venture capital funds in Russia, and also made a number of successful private investments. His past and current investment projects include: Parallels, Yandex, QIK (sold by Skype), Vyatta (sold by Brocade), Acumatica, Jelastic, NavMaps (sold by TeleAtlas), 2Can, Alawar, AlterGeo, SJLabs (sold by VocalTec), EverNote, GridGain , WikiMart and others.

Prior to his investment career, he created and managed as CEO five successful companies in software development, information security, Internet services, telecommunications and microelectronics, including Elvis +, TrustWorks Systems (sold to Hamsard), EzWIM (sold to TMT Ventures ), ELVIS Telecom (sold by Telenor) and NPC ELVIS. Alexander pioneered the creation of WiFi and VPN technologies and products in the global market in partnership with Sun Microsystems and was a pioneer of the Russian Internet industry back in the 90s.

Prior to starting his entrepreneurial activity, Mr. Galitsky was one of the key technical leaders in the Soviet space industry, being the chief designer of computer systems and software for satellites and systems, as well as for space digital communications, where he worked at the MIR space station.

Alexander owns more than 30 patents and inventions. At the Economic Forum in Davos in 2000, Alexander Galitsky was named a “Pioneer in Technology”, and by independent agencies, including Forbes, he was recognized as the most influential person in Russia in the field of information and Internet technologies.In 2012, he was nominated for the Best Venture Investor of the Decade in Europe, and in 2013 he won the Entrepreneur 2013 competition in Russia and was named the Best General Partner of the Year 2013 in the Russian Venture Industry.

Alexander graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering with a degree in engineer-physicist and defended his thesis, Ph.D. in the specialty “Technical Cybernetics” at the base department of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology at the Research Institute of Microdevices NPO ELAS.Alexander is a member of the Skolkovo Board of Trustees and is the chairman of the RVC Advisory Board.
