they wouldn’t honor my Groupon. I had 3 groupons for shredding and the first one they honored, the next 2 times they indicated the wouldn’t honor them.. I even asked before giving them my materials to shred and the clerk indicated they would but then couldn’t figure out the groupon and argued that they didn’t get any money from groupon so it really wasn’t a coupon and charged me the full rate for the shredding. I asked the manager and he agreed that they didn’t honor the groupons. That’s unfortunate because I like staples and groupon but I guess I won’t use the two combined anymore.

is a dynamic exhibition space for the work of visiting artists, faculty and master’s
students.

Every academic year, the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries produces four
exhibitions of work by regional and national artists. In addition to exhibiting their
work, visiting artists typically deliver a public lecture and conduct student critiques
and/or facilitate a workshop or demonstration.

Typographic Vision(s)

Exhibition statement:

During this time of an onslaught of screens, we wish to offer people an opportunity
for quiet exploration
and discovery of typography and its possibilities for expression. Typography is one
of the main components of visual communication, carrying within it a long history
and tradition. Our work explores the tactile and historical assets of type in contemporary
fashion. The juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary helps us create visual
intrigue that is difficult to achieve through digital media. We aim to create visual
dialogue through the versatile use of typography and the materials. Part of the magic
is the tactile experience we go through during the printing and binding processes.
The physicality that is involved in setting type, operating a press, or binding a
book creates a bond between the work and the maker, which is then, in turn, passed
on to the viewer. For viewers, this exhibition is an occasion to experience typography
in a different fashion.


About the artists:

Virginia Green was born in Staten Island, New York, and raised in Pennsylvania. She eventually migrated
to Texas, where she earned her BFA at The University of Texas at Arlington and her
MFA at the University of North Texas, both degrees in the area of Communication Design.
Green joined the Baylor art faculty in 2006 to teach Graphic Design. In addition,
she is the principal and creative director for VGreen Design, a freelance design studio,
and BlackHare Studio, a letterpress, artist book and fine art studio. Her creative
passions include typography and letterpress printing, a medium that allows for custom
graphic design, fine art print editions and artist books.


Born and raised in Finland, Mervi Pakaste now works as an associate professor at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
Pakaste earned her bachelor’s degree at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, after
which she moved back to Finland work in design. Eventually, she decided to pursue
her master’s degree and graduated from Penn State in 2004. Pakaste brings a multicultural
perspective into her work, and she has lectured and exhibited both nationally and
internationally. Pakaste truly enjoys challenges that multicultural environments present
for designers, and her work is heavily influenced by cultural differences and divergences.
Pakaste works in letterpress and book arts.

Why Wheat Is a Kansas Staple | Kansas Farm Food Connection

Close your eyes and picture Kansas. What springs to mind? If we had to guess, we’d wager there was wheat involved. 

Kansas conjures thoughts of golden fields — delicate stalks rippling in the breeze as far as the eye can see. 

But why is Kansas so solidly linked to wheat in our minds? What is it about wheat that makes it such an iconic image? Well, there are a lot of reasons, it turns out. 

Climate

Of course, our climate plays a big part. Wheat is a fairly forgiving crop and can grow with as little as 10 inches of rain a year, although 12 to 15 is preferable. In fact, wheat is grown in every one of the 105 counties in Kansas. The wheat grown here is winter wheat, which is planted in the fall and harvested during the summer. Winter wheat doesn’t mind our crazy temperature fluctuations and can withstand our cold winters while dormant, then flourish during our warmer summers. Spring wheat, which is planted in spring and harvested late summer, isn’t grown in Kansas because it doesn’t grow well in our climate.

Soil

The major types of soil are sand, silt and clay. Wheat grows well in loamy soil, which is a combination of all three. That description fits Harney silt loam — our state soil — to a tee. Harney silt loam is 70 percent silt, 15 percent clay and 15 percent sand. This mix provides a good balance of moisture retention and drainage.

Still, farmers have to maintain soil health. This might mean adding depleted nutrients back into the soil with fertilizer or reducing tilling to help preserve soil structure. Other practices like crop rotation and cover crops can also be helpful depending on factors like the pH levels of soil. Guess which crops wheat cycles well with? Corn, soybeans and sorghum. You guessed it; all of these are major Kansas crops!

Culture

There’s no denying our rich history is also tied to wheat. When German and Russian Mennonites immigrated in the 1870s, they brought seeds of Turkey Red, a winter wheat which grew well in their native home. Although spring wheat had not grown well in Kansas, this strain of winter wheat flourished. With its success, farmers began developing additional strains.

The wheat market became a major draw for settlers looking for prosperity. Many Americans and immigrants answered the call to cultivate the prairie. Unfortunately, this new life wasn’t as easy as some may have hoped. Drought and locusts plagued the state in the late 1890s. On the heels of record high wheat prices following World War I, the Great Depression and Dust Bowl delivered a double hit to families relying on the once highly profitable crop for their livelihoods.

After one of the most challenging eras in farming, the 1940s brought perfect conditions for growing wheat, and prices soared again. World War II also provided new opportunities for farmers. Patriotism among farmers swelled as production was more than a way to support their families, but to feed our citizens and troops.

Through the ups and downs, wheat became ingrained in the fiber of our history and established itself as a key crop just as food production was becoming modernized in the next decades.

Breadbasket of the World

Wheat would never have been such a success if it weren’t such a versatile crop in food production and home cooking.

To help promote the grain in everyday life, the Kansas Wheat Commission began releasing cookbooks in the 1950s to showcase recipes using flour. These cookbooks encouraged Americans everywhere to bring wheat into their homes and support the country’s economy.

As food companies developed more formulas for breakfast cereals and other staples, especially following World War II, wheat was front and center.

Today, Kansas is the top producer of wheat in the United States and a large contributor worldwide. It’s no wonder we’ve become known as the “Breadbasket of the World.”

So, as you picture the amber waves of this Kansas grain, hopefully you can appreciate wheat is much more than just a crop. It’s a deeply rooted part of our heritage.

    US Historic Site

    Union Square is a historic intersection and neighborhood in Manhattan, New York where Broadway and the former Bowery Road met in the early 19th century – now Fourth Avenue.Its name means that “the two main highways of the island were connected here.” Current Union Square Park is bounded by 14th Street in the south, 17th Street in the north, and Union Square in the west and Union Square in the east in the west and east, respectively. 17th Street connects Broadway and Park Avenue South at the north end of the park, and Union Square East connects South Park Avenue with Fourth Avenue and the Broadway extension on the park’s south side. The park is administered by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

    Neighboring neighborhoods are Flatiron to the north, Chelsea to the west, Greenwich Village to the southwest, East Village to the southeast, and Gramercy Park to the east. Many New School buildings are located near the square, as well as several New York University dorms. The east side of the square is dominated by the four Zeckendorf towers, while the south side is the One Union Square South, a mixed-use square block that houses a wall sculpture and digital clock called the Metronome .Union Square Park also has many works of art, including statues of George Washington, the Marquis de Lafayette, Abraham Lincoln, and Mahatma Gandhi.

    Union Square is part of the 5th District of Manhattan and has a primary zip code of 10003. It is patrolled by the 13th District of the NYPD. In New York City, the 14th Street-Union Square subway station, served by the 4, 5, 6, <6>, L, N, Q, R and W trains, are located under Union Square.

    Development

    The area around present-day Union Square was originally agricultural land. The western part of the site was owned by Elias Brevoort, who later sold his land to John Smith in 1762; by 1788 it was sold again to Henry Spingler (or Springler). In the eastern part of the land, there were farms belonging to John Watts and Cornelius Williams.In the northwest corner of the parkland was 1 acre (0.40 hectares) of land owned by Manhattan Bank, which was allegedly a haven for businesses during the New York yellow fever epidemic.

    When John Randall surveyed the island in preparation for the Commissioners’ Plan of 1811, Bloomingdale Road (now Broadway) deviated from the Bowery at an acute angle. Since it would be difficult to build buildings from this angle, the members of the Commission decided to form a square at the union.In 1815, by a decision of the state legislature, this former pottery field became the public domain of the city, first named Union Place. Originally, Union Place was supposed to stretch from 10th to 17th Streets. Several city officials objected that Union Place was too large and demanded that it be “discontinued,” and in 1814 the New York State Legislature took action to reduce the area by making 14th Street the southern boundary.

    In 1831, while the city was expanding rapidly and the surrounding area was still underdeveloped, Samuel Ruggles, one of the founders of the Bank of Commerce and developer of Gramercy Park in the northeast, convinced the city to rename the area.like Union Square. In doing so, Ruggles also forced the city to expand the dorm to 17th Street in the north and widen the axis of University Place to form the western side of the square, thereby transforming the usual territory from triangular to rectangular. By 1832, the square was renamed Union Square. Ruggles received a fifty-year lease for most of the surrounding parcels from 15th to 19th streets, where he built sidewalks and curbs. In 1834, he convinced the Aldermen Council to fence and value the square, then sold most of his leases, and in 1839 built a four-story house facing the east side of the square.Union Square Park was completed and opened in July 1839.

    In the center of Union Square, a fountain was built to supply water from the Croton Aqueduct, the construction of which was completed in October 1842. In 1845, when the square finally began to fill with wealthy houses, $ 116,000 was spent paving the surrounding streets and landscaping the square. thanks in part to the ongoing promotion of the Ruggles. The only survivors at this early stage, although they have been largely adapted and rebuilt, are a series of three- and four-story brick terraced houses, 862-866 Broadway, at the bend where Broadway opens onto 17th Street Square.The Everett House at 17th Street and Fourth Avenue (built 1848, demolished 1908) has been one of the city’s most fashionable hotels for decades.

    In the early years of the park’s existence, the central oval of the square was surrounded by a fence planted with radiant paths framed by trees. In 1872, Frederick Lowe Olmsted and Calvert Waugh were invited to transplant the park as an open clearing with clumps of trees.

    First, the plaza, the last public space that functioned as an entrance to New York, was mostly residential: the Union League club first occupied a house provided for this purpose by Henry Marquand at the corner of 17th Street and Broadway.After the civil war, the area became largely commercial, and at the turn of the twentieth century, the area began to lose its social significance, many of the old mansions were demolished. Tiffany & Co. who moved to the square from Broadway and Broome Street in 1870, left its premises at 15th Street to move to 37th Street in 1905; The Gorham Company, a silver company, moved from 19th Street in 1906. The area’s last free-standing private mansion, Peter Goelet’s at the northeast corner of 19th Street, gave way to a commercial building in 1897.

    Rialto

    The Rialto, New York City’s first commercial theater district, has been located in and around Union Square since the 1870s. It was named after Venice’s Rialto, a commercial area. The first institution to open within Union Square Rialto was the Academy of Music, which opened at Irving Place in 1854. The Theater District gradually moved north, to less expensive and undeveloped areas of the city, and, eventually, to the current Theater District.

    Before the Civil War, theaters in New York City were generally located along Broadway and the Bowery to 14th Street, with Broadway theaters attracting more middle and upper classes, and Bowery theaters attracting an immigrant, clerk, and working class audience.     David Harbor’s Ideal Loft in New York

    David Harbor is no stranger to acting.He worked for many years

You need a lever behind the door on the right, but it cannot be opened.There is a hatch on the left – break open and climb to the very end until you get out of the duct into the next room. Pull the lever and open all the doors. Throw the grenade into the room with the tank, and after the explosion, jump down.

    Get to the desired room, pull the lever and free the submarine “Hammer of Eva”. Now you need to get out of the airship. Move in the opposite direction and fight a soldier in an armored suit in a familiar room. This thug can use dashes against you in battle, as well as powerful laser weapons.

    Avoid it – fortunately, the enemy will shoot with short beams. Having dealt with the target, pick up a laser weapon and shoot the doors with yellow stripes. Such doors can be destroyed with a laser. Deal with the group of soldiers, destroy the door on the right from the weapon and go to the lever. By pulling it, you can get out of the airship.

    There are two officers in addition to the usual enemies. Go downstairs and move along the balcony to kill the first commander.     Climbing higher, go through the door and kill several opponents. Move back until you find yourself with Wyat and Zingur.Kill enemies and climb into the escape pod to leave the level.

    Compartment F

    Hammer of Eve

    After the cutscene, it turns out that Compartment F is real, and someone from there sends a signal to General Engel’s flying fortress. At the beginning of the mission, you will be given a dieselcraftwerk. This weapon leaves a sticky projectile when fired, which you can detonate. If you take this weapon in two hands, then the projectiles will explode upon contact with each other (i.e., with each shot).

    Shoot at the hatch welded on that side with LMB, and then press RMB to detonate the stuck projectile. Break the hatch in the floor with a jump and blow from the air, follow the ventilation and take the soldier Mueller’s diary from the shelves on the right in front of the stairs upstairs. After rising, deal with a few Fritz, acting silently. First, wait for one of them to come closer to you, then kill the one on the left. Move forward and up. Find the hatch under your feet and jump to destroy it.

    Move to the adjacent room and jump down through the rubble to pick up supplies and a postcard from Franca. Move further along the large pipe and go upstairs, to the metal stairs, where you will need to kill enemies. The officer is in the locked wheelhouse, so here, in any case, you will have to use the dieselcraftwerk and blow up the door. Destroy the radio transmitter by shooting the red tank on the right.At the same time, you will break through the passage further.

    In the next room, in addition to the officer and ordinary enemies, there will be a turret. You can go around it and pick it up to use it as a laser weapon. Eventually, you will return back to your team, thus completing the mission.

Enter the building itself, clear it and climb to the very top to walk along the street. Going down, you will find a drone. I was never able to neutralize him silently, so I had to make a lot of noise with the third group of Nazis.At the same time, the officer will be in the far edge of the map, but in order to get to him, you need to clear the building on the left (on the top floor, by the way, there is a weapon upgrade kit). In it, on the second floor, near the exit, there is a sketch. After that, break forward and kill the big man with the grenade launcher.

    Metro

    Having dealt with everyone, examine the asphalt and find the hatch leading down to the metro. Several dogs will have to be killed at the station. By the way, there is a newspaper issue on the right of the train. Go forward along any of the two tunnels (through the carriages) and turn into the center corridor.After killing two enemies, do not turn, but move to the very end. Here you will have to destroy the crocodile, and then pick up the star card.

    Follow through several other trains until you encounter other opponents, including a big man with grenade launchers. Passenger John’s diary is on the side of another train track. Go through the door by blowing it up with the Diesel Kraftwerk and start the generator. Be sure to pick up a set of weapons lying on the ground.     Make your way through the building, climbing higher and higher, and kill enemies. When you need to move to another part of the building, be careful – protective drones are floating in the air. It is unlikely that you will be able to avoid them, but try it. Also on this side of the building (not where the officer is) on the upper tier, find the sofa on which the sketch lies.

    Climb up, go to the officer and kill him. From here you need to jump down through the hole at the corner of the wall.

    Once below, you will see a huge robot. You can’t kill him now, don’t even try. Bend down and make your way into the hole on the right. Climb to the second floor, collect supplies, including the weapon upgrade kit. There is no direct path to the building in which the Nazis settled. But there are debris here that you must jump to the right place. Once on the spot, deal with the enemies and get to the elevator doors. You need to open the elevator shaft and climb the stairs to leave the level.On the other hand, do not rush – there is a reception desk near the elevator, and a sketch is on one of the shelves.

    Penthouse

    All you have to do is kill your enemies and prevent yourself from dying. Immediately turn around and take out the location card from the locker. It will come in handy when collecting useful items.

    A lot of ammunition is scattered around the location, so difficulties should not arise. After you deal with everyone, you will need to jump on the helicopter of new friends.But you shouldn’t rush! You can find several collectibles. The sketch is upstairs in the room you spawned in. Going downstairs and approaching the helicopter, pick up the plate lying on the table and take the postcard. Walk closer to the elevator shaft you climbed. There is a newspaper on the table on the right and a note on the left. Take a running jump onto the helicopter.

    Old Secrets

    You can devote a few minutes to exploring the location and collecting collectibles, or you can immediately go to compartment F through the lower tier, interacting with the lockers in the locker room.

    Go upstairs, kill the robot and one big guy. Be sure to refuel your dieselcraftwerk, which is the best way to destroy armored targets. Move even higher and in the room find a sketch along with a lever that opens access to the compartment with a nuclear warhead.Go down and destroy three more big guys. Enter the room and interact with the warhead to complete the quest.

    Talk to Seth, go to Grace and watch the cut-scene. Then move to the upper deck, where the helipad is located, and refuel the aircraft. Get down on the right and silently deal with the first enemy – everything is quite simple! Jump down through the hatch located next to the soldier, and find gold near the boxes under the wall on the right (when you go down even lower, to the rails).Also on the right, but closer to the stairs leading to the next opponents, you can find an improvement kit.

    Go along the left side, where a lonely enemy walks, deal with him and find the star card on the dashboard in the far corner. Now go in a circle and go up the stairs on the right side up to the control room. The officer and his dog will be here. Sneak up to the officer and kill him, and then shoot the dog with a weapon with a silencer. On the other hand, you can try to kill her with the same ax.Having figured it out, search the control room and find a sketch, an electronic entry, a diary of an unknown Nazi scientist, Eliza’s letter and another star card.

    After lowering the jet engine, it remains to get on the train. But you can continue exploring the location. Go downstairs and go right to the end of the train, where you have not yet been. Behind the boxes lies another ingot of gold. Cross over to the other side, go upstairs and sneak past the soldiers standing at the railing – one ordinary and the other armored.On the right, there will be a large corridor with two rooms at once. In the room on the left, find a note, two star cards, and an email. There is also a location map here. The room on the right contains a sketch, music record, email, gold bar, and letter from American citizens.

    After you deal with everyone, jump onto the roof of the train and climb inside through the open hatch. Pull the indicated lever to start the train.

    Freight Train

    Now is the time to take control of the train.At the end of this car there is a weapon stand with a new weapon – a shotgun.

    Move forward, kill opponents and collect ammunition. At the end of the car there will be two staircases – one leading to the bottom and the other to the top. No matter how you go, you still have to fight opponents. Having shot everyone, enter the cars in front, clean them up and kill the officer. An email can be found in one of the rooms. I couldn’t find anything else on the train – so feel free to kill opponents, move to the head carriage and choose how to get to the station – slowly or as quickly as possible.

    Reactor

    If you go slowly, there will be a chance to go through part of the location secretly. If you choose a fast route, the enemies will know about your arrival and you will have to kill everyone. One way or another, despite the large space of the station, you can find only one newspaper here – in one of the control rooms with dashboards. Get to the lift and start it with any remote control. Fight off the opponents here and above, and then go to the captain’s room. After killing him, go left and find a letter in the back room.Go to the room located behind the officer to find a postcard from Franca on one of the tables. Follow on and you will find yourself in a completely different part of the location.

    Here you need to load the warhead, but there will be even more opponents, including two officers. Before killing the officer in front, examine all the tables on your right hand and you will find two collectibles. After that, deal with the officer and try to also silently eliminate the second. Then kill the remaining opponents, open the reactor and install the warhead.Now the hardest part is getting out of here.

    If you are playing on easy difficulty, you can hold down Shift and run into the gate from where a huge robot appeared. Otherwise, you will have to shoot ordinary soldiers without leaning out of cover, and then deceive the robot, go around it and run away. After opening the door and passing to the landing, go upstairs. Kill the fleeing scientists and look into the office on the right to find a postcard. Find an email on one of the tables in the center of the lower tier.Go upstairs and go through the billiard room into the long corridor. After destroying several opponents, you will be able to leave the oberkomando through the indicated door.

    New suit

    In the end, you will need to choose a new device that you will use for the rest of the game – we are talking about a corset, power braces and combat stilts.In the first case, you will be able to move through narrow slits – the corset compresses William’s body, not allowing him to breathe. On the other hand, you cannot squeeze the corset for a long time, as William may suffocate. It activates automatically when you move in a squat position.

    The second device (which I have chosen) will replace the dieselcraftwerk (or laserkraftwerk). With it, when accelerating, you can smash thin door sheets, boxes, and even knock down Nazis (one at a time). Fires automatically when accelerating.

    Finally, the third device is activated by double pressing the jump key (Space). After this action, long stilts are put forward, allowing you to climb up hills, use cover from above, and generally choose a more advantageous tactical position.

    Select a device and wait for Seth to ask you to demonstrate what you can do. In general, the polygon will be the same, although you can go through it in different ways. In the case of power brackets, you need to accelerate and crash into the doors.Climb higher and smash another door, then knock down some Nazi mockups. Next, you need to break the boxes blocking the path. Press the red button to end your workout. But you should not rush – next to her on the floor are a set of improvements and a star card.

    Side Quests

    While on Eve’s Hammer, you can complete several side quests. Go to Ani’s room, which is down the corridor from Seth’s laboratory, and open it. Watch the cut-scene.Also check out Rosa, a pig whose room is located near Bombato’s and Max’s chambers. Interact with the pig – it needs to be fed. Exit to the main hall where there are stairs leading up and down. Follow the marker to the right towards Grace, but stop at Ritva Tuomivaara. She will ask you to remove the obstacles blocking the way in the warehouse. Talk to her and start descending.

    Break crates if using power brackets. I don’t know if this task will be used when choosing other adaptations for a new suit, but in my case it was.Also, if you want to feed Rose the pig, then go to the dining room and look at the warehouse nearby – collect the potatoes lying on the floor and shelves. Take the pig and interact with it to feed it.

    Go to Grace, talk to her and interact with the military map. Now there is only one point on it, and it leads to Manhattan. Confirm your choice.

    Get the dossier on New Orleans

    You will find yourself in a destroyed apartment building, where high levels of radiation prevail.You need to act quickly, because over time, radiation takes away health points from you. Go down below and below, destroying the Nazi creatures, after which you will find yourself in the room with the first officer. Try to finish him off with a silenced weapon, not forgetting about the dogs. Finish off the remaining fascists and follow downward. The entrance to the bomb shelter is located inside a separate building, which can be entered in three ways:

    1. If you have a corset, then go to the left of the building and find a small gap below – bend down and the corset will automatically reduce you in size, allowing you to get inside.
    2. If you have power brackets, then take a running run down the grate in the doorway.
    3. If you have stilts, then use them to climb the tall boxes and jump onto the canopy to get inside through the opening here.

    Open the door and you will find yourself in the anti-nuclear shelter. On the right, find a tube with a location map. You can get to the next room in several ways, depending on the selected gadget. Unfortunately, if you have power braces, you will have to punch through the entrance, which means that it will not work silently.Eliminate the captain as soon as possible so that he does not call for endless help. Having dealt with the enemies and taking the Enigma code from the captain, move further through the periodically opening and closing blades.

    Get down and kill all opponents, including one officer. There are two control rooms – in both, you have to activate the switches to open the heavy doors. After that, armored guys will appear. On the other hand, in the control rooms you can find collectibles – a sketch and a note in one, and a postcard from Clara in the other.

    Go down the steps and take the star card from the loader opposite them. Next there will be a room with a mechanical dog. Another one will appear after the first one spots you. To deal with the dogs, use the powerful weapons that can be found in the boxes in the rooms on the right and left (wait for the blades to open). First, get this weapon, and then rush into battle. Destroying dogs with a machine gun or a pistol is unrealistic. Unless you use a shotgun with the “Rotor” upgrade, which allows you to shoot three rounds at the same time.You will also need a dieselcraftwerk or laserkraftwerk in battle.

    You can sneak past the dogs and imperceptibly – honor and praise to you in that case! To get into the elevator shaft, use a narrow slot, a grate in the doorway or a balcony on top, depending on the installed gadget – a corset, braces and stilts, respectively. After jumping into the mine, click on the button to start the elevator.

    Next, a segment is waiting for you directly, where you will find the necessary dossier. Move along the wall around the room, hiding behind the dashboards.Stand on the corner, look out and from a pistol with a silencer kill the soldier inside the “bunker” and what is outside of it. Save and kill another enemy with a shotgun to the right. To get into this “bunker”, you will have to use your devices – a doorway with a grate and a narrow manhole are located next to a high balcony. Get inside, silently kill one officer from below, and another from above. If you do not raise the alarm, then there will be no other fighters here.

    At the bottom of the bunker, find an email and a note.Upstairs find a newspaper, a music record, and a postcard (in the same room as the dossier). Take the dossier and shoot the appeared soldiers. Exit through the door where the enemies came from and put on a gas mask. Launch a huge lift, and while it is moving upward, destroy mechanical robots. Next, interact with the plane.

    Hammer of Eva

    Once on the submarine, shoot the robots, and then help Bombat up. Watch the cut-scene with Seth.

    How to use Enigma?

    As you progress through the game, you kill enemy officers who are guaranteed to drop one Enigma code. If you want to collect all the collectibles and re-examine those cards that you have already visited, you will have to decipher the Enigma codes and find the chief commanders. They should be killed. Interact with the chair and open the Enigma interface. At first, not all Chief Commanders will be available for decryption. This is because you haven’t opened every card yet.However, now, if you have killed all the officers on the previous maps, you have the opportunity to decipher almost all of the chief commanders.

    In addition, when you go through the military card to destroy the chief commander, in most cases you will meet one or two more officers, from whom the Enigma codes will still drop out.

    To decipher the location of one or another Chief Commander, a certain number of Enigma codes are required. The more codes you need, the more difficult is not the decoding itself, but the mission to eliminate the target.At the top of the Enigma, you see a six-piece code combination. Each piece, in turn, is divided into two halves. In the lower part there is an input scale – you must move both Enigma ribbons so that the upper and lower parts coincide with the first character of the code sequence above. If so (you need to collect the symbol in the center, in the highlighted cells), then press Enter. If successful, the machine will switch to the second of the six characters in the sequence and you will again need to match it on the tapes below.When you collect all six symbols, you will find out the location of the chief commander.

    If you make a mistake or miss the time (the countdown is reset after each character), you will lose one Enigma code. In such cases, if you feel that you are not in time, manually close the car using the Esc key. This way you won’t lose your code!

    Take on missions in which you can find toys for Max and other collectibles, and then talk to Grace to continue the story.

    New Orleans

    At the beginning of the mission, you will learn that you need to get into New Orleans, surrounded by a huge wall. Enter the building on the right side to find a music record behind the shop. Move to the wall itself and near it you will see a building, and on the left – a double-decker bus. There is a newspaper on the second floor of the bus, and gold lies on one of the shelves inside the building resembling a shop.

    By the way, I highly recommend completing the missions to kill the chief commanders, because in one of them you can find a new update for the costume.At the beginning, I chose the power braces, and in the mission with the chief commander in the bunker I was able to find a compression corset.

    To get inside, you can go to the large hall of the building on the right and take a running start to destroy the ventilation panel in the opening. But to the left of the store there is a staircase, along which you can freely climb up and go inside the wall.

    Turn your back against the wall between the double-decker bus and the building. See the little blue car? To the left of it there is a wooden stand – it is under it that a letter is lying on the ground.

    Climb up the stairs, open the hatch and make your way into the building. There will be two officers at once. In this room, where you got, find a sketch on the table. Then move forward along the left wall. There will be nothing in the first room on the left. Before you get to the second, it is advisable to silently neutralize one ordinary soldier and one officer. In the second room on the left, on one of the tables is an email. There will be another enemy at the top, at the end of the corridor, and at the bottom there will be two more. One will stand at the very beginning, at the blocked passage, and the other will patrol the corridor on the side.You can kill both.

    Go upstairs, deal with one more officer and an armored enemy. There will be two more enemies on the third tier, but there is nothing else. On the second floor in the first room on the right, find a map, and on the second, find a set of improvements. Climb up the stairs at the end of the corridor and go outside.

    This is New Orleans. Deal with the opponents in the courtyard, in the buildings on the left, find a star card and a sketch. In the first building on the right, go up to the second floor and find a note from a resistance fighter.Enter the indicated building in front, find the newspaper in the room on the left, and then go to another part of the street, where ordinary Nazis are waiting for you. After shooting everyone, swim on the water and climb to the surface through the destroyed bus, half submerged in water.

    There will be several more opponents here, including an armored Nazi. However, even now it is possible to operate silently. Next, you need to enter the building on the right. This can be done in three ways – through two doors with yellow and black stripes (using a dash with power brackets or Diesel Kraftwerk / Lasercraftwerk) or through a small slot on the side.In general, the slots, as I understand it, are intended precisely for silent passage, because opponents can detect you from an explosion or knocking out a door.

    I would recommend immediately breaking the door on the left and getting into the workshop, where there is a star card on one of the tables. If it does not work, then you can get into the workshop from the depot by breaking or blowing up a cracked wall. The building is large, which means you can easily clear it in stealth mode. There are no armored opponents here, but there is one dog and two officers.Kill them all, and then find a booth on the second floor. Enter it by knocking out or blowing up the door, and pull the lever to energize the tap. Next, you need to go through a part of the building on the left and climb even higher to find the crane booth. Ride it forward and go down to the platforms on the other side.

    Go to the next depot, kill opponents and in one of the carriages in the middle, find the star card. Follow forward to a dead end, where William will say that you need to make a new passage.Find the sketch on the tables on the right. Now there are two options – either you break through the passage, hitting the wall with a crack in front (you need power braces), or go down and throw a grenade at the red tank. The explosion forms a hole below. One way or another, you will need to go upstairs and jump out into the courtyard through the hole in the wall.

    There will be a mechanical dog and many other opponents, including two big guys. Kill the last ones first or one of them in order to pick up a powerful weapon that will allow you to destroy the robop.Next, break the wall, knock / blow up the gate, move under or over them, depending on the available weapons and devices. Once in the yard, go forward a little and turn left. There will be gold in the room with the corpse, and there is a star card on the table to the right of the entrance to it.

    Make your way through the building and reach Horton’s lair. Kill all the fascists, take the sketch inside the room opposite Horton, and then go upstairs. A long cut-scene awaits you.

    Walk on Panzerhound

    This time you will control a robotic dog.You can dismount at any time to replenish William’s ammunition or collect collectibles. So, as soon as you appear at the location, get off the dog by pressing the left CTRL and pull the star card out of the car on the left. Having done this, climb Panzerhound and walk along the city streets, destroying all the fascists. Going out on the first street, look into the building on the left side, where you can get through an open window. There is a diary on one of the counters of the counter.

When you get close to the desired location, an indicator will appear at the top of the screen indicating the direction in which the commander is and the distance to him.If you are stealthy and mostly use a silenced pistol, you can kill the soldiers before they can raise the alarm and call for reinforcements. If they find you, then even more bodyguards of the commander will appear – you will have to destroy them all before killing the officer and taking the Enigma code.

    How to decipher the Enigma codes
