Cheap Booklets, Saddle Stitch Booklet Printing

Cheap Booklet Printing

Saddle stitch binding gives you a low-cost, high-impact product that looks and feels very professional. Stapled booklet printing is distinct from our other book binding options. The stapling is performed by the finishing unit as the booklets come off the digital press, which reduces the cost compared to other binding types done by hand.

How Are Saddle Stitch Booklets Bound?

  1. Pages are arranged and printed 2-up on each side of a sheet
  2. Sheets are folded in half and nested so pages read in the correct sequence
  3. Booklets are stapled twice on the fold
  4. Edges are trimmed evenly by the printer’s booklet finisher

The staples go through the fold, or saddle, hence the term saddle stitch booklet.

The low cost and simple elegance of stapled booklets make them a great choice for magazines, event programs, team memory books, playbills, business reports, student publications and more.

Because each sheet creates 4 pages in your finished booklet, page counts must go in multiples of 4. If you meant to order 1 sheet folded in half to make 4 pages, order this on the 4-Page Half-Fold Newsletters product page instead.

Saddle Stitch Book Design Tips

Please setup your files 1-printed-page per page in your file, not as reader spreads (where two pages appear side by side).

Do not set your pages up as spreads.
Results in booklet printing in wrong sequence.

Set them up as single pages instead.
We will auto-sequence booklet for print.

We will automatically sequence each page so that booklets read in the right order. Reader spreads will not let us do that and will result in printing booklet pages out of order. If your pages are already arranged correctly in booklet spreads, we can print these but do not recommend setting up your spreads manually.

Print Booklet Covers in Gloss

Cheap booklet upgrade makes cover art come to life.

If you’re looking to upgrade the quality while keeping costs low, try adding a glossy cardstock cover for an extra boost of professionalism. Because unfortunately, many readers still tend to judge a book by its cover. For full color booklets with a lot of graphics, consider using the 32/80# Text Gloss for the inside.

Bleed Printing

Do you need printing to go to the edge, leaving no margin? If so, make sure to choose “Bleeds – Yes” and setup your bleed content according to our specifications.

If you have any questions about saddle stitch binding, including setting up your files for stapled booklets, please feel free to call or email.

“I have to admit – I was EXTREMELY nervous using DOCUcopies.com – I had never known your company existed before, and my very first order was pretty complicated and I needed it in less than one week…I had a lot of people relying on the shipment arriving in time – not to mention a potentially embarrassing situation. ..but I could not pass up your pricing to I decided to use your service.

The order is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT…all my instructions were followed to the letter…the package was delivered the day it was promised and packaged so very carefully, and the stapled booklets are absolutely beautiful. I wish to say a special thank you for taking the extra care to manipulate the PDF files as I requested to re-arrange the first few pages and insert the special copyright permission letter.

You have not only won me over, but I will continue to use your service from now on – not only have you given me confidence with your abilities, but you have demonstrated that you’re willing to take extra care with special and complicated jobs.

Oh – and there’s the pricing – I still can’t believe you were able to do this order for the price I paid – and for a non-profit, you know that’s critical!

THANK YOU!!!”Joseph S. – IN

Printing a booklet which staples in the middle

About

If you want to print A4 sized pages on a home printer it’s pretty straight forward. Here however, we explain the more complex process of printing a booklet on A4 or letter paper, which staples in the middle. In other words, we want each document page to take up half a physical page and get printed double sided so that we can fold and staple it in the middle with two staples.

On some printers you might figure this out, but on others you’ll fail miserably. Since every printer is different, the instructions here show you how you might generate a PDF where pages are already in a “good order”, ready to simply print double sided (short edge first) on any printer that supports side-by-side printing.

Preparing Your Google Document for Booklet Printing

There are various methods, the most common is leaving your page as the default A4 portrait / letter (depending on the country) and relying on the fact that most printers and even PDF publishing should have an option to do “multiple page” where you put two pages side-by-side. This means that you should be producing font sizes and image dimensions twice as big in dimensions than they will appear in the final output. Some will prefer to go File > Page Setup… then select A5 portrait (exactly half the size of A4) or half the size of letter and when you go to print the scale options will hopefully blow it to the right size.

Make your pages, starting with the “front cover” on page 1, then page 2 will be the one that appears on the left after your first page turn, and so on. Make all your pages, keeping in mind each even number and the subsequent odd numbered page will appear side-by-side. Before printing, you might want to increase your number of page (use [ctrl]+[enter] for page break) so you round up to the nearest multiple of 4. Inserting page numbers (Insert > Page number > Bottom of page) to your pages will help you a lot, although unlike word you can’t defer page numbers to a later page, so if you want to omit the number from the cover page put a white box over it.

Preparing your Microsoft Word for Booklet Printing

If you have Microsoft Office installed you might like to use MS Publisher instead of MS Word, as this program is much better at producing cards / booklets and shows you what page appears where. Also, watch this video first! The page size options are the same as for Google Doc, but page number you can get to start on whatever page you want.

Printing Your Booklet (Which Staples in the Middle)

Now your document is ready, hit [ctrl]+[p] and look at your options. Unless there is an easy booklet option, print A4 / letter sized PDF and enter the custom order of pages you want.

Page ordering is the tricky part. if you have just 4 pages they should be ordered: {4,1, 2,3} …. and print double sided so that when you fold in the middle you’ll be able to see 1 on the “front”, 4 on the back, and 2,3 in the middle. No staple is required for 4 pages of course. What about 8 pages though?! For 8 pages you’ll need {8,1, 2,7}, {6,3, 4,5}, with the second physical page placed on top of the first before you fold. .. then staple in the middle. As the number of pages goes up, so does the nastiness of the numbers.

Here’s a guide to the order of pages you want:

Number pages: Page order:
4 4,1,2,3
8 8,1,2,7, 6,3,4,5
12 12,1,2,11, 10,3,4,9, 8,5,6,7
16 16,1,2,15, 14,3,4,13, 12,5,6,11, 10,7,8,9
20 20,1,2,19, 18,3,4,17, 16,5,6,15, 14,7,8,13, 12,9,10,11
24 24,1,2,23, 22,3,4,21, 20,5,6,19, 18,7,8,17, 16,9,10,15, 14,11,12,13
28 28,1,2,27, 26,3,4,25, 24,5,6,23, 22,7,8,21, 20,9,10,19, 18,11,12,17, 16,13,14,15
32 32,1,2,31, 30,3,4,29, 28,5,6,27, 26,7,8,25, 24,9,10,23, 22,11,12,21, 20,13,14,19, 18,15,16,17
36 36,1,2,35, 34,3,4,33, 32,5,6,31, 30,7,8,29, 28,9,10,27, 26,11,12,25, 24,13,14,23, 22,15,16,21, 20,17,18,19
40 40,1,2,39, 38,3,4,37, 36,5,6,35, 34,7,8,33, 32,9,10,31, 30,11,12,29, 28,13,14,27, 26,15,16,25, 24,17,18,23, 22,19,20,21

WARNING: For Google Docs it appears it wills rearrange pages in order, so a work around is to install Adobe Reader and when you hit print in Adobe Reader (or most other PDF printing apps) you should then be able to specify the page order above.

Print this to PDF and it should automatically open the PDF with your A4 or letter sized pages in weird order. Open the PDF and click print ([ctrl]+[p]) and *hopefully* your printer options include the following options you should check:

  • Multiple pages: 2 pages, side-by-side (should switch to landscape automatically)
  • Double sided: short edge binding

If you don’t get the double sided option… your best bet is to just print pages 1-2, 5-6, 9-10 (remember, the PDFs ordering is now different from our original). Once done printing, flip them over put them back into the feed (with the blank side exposed) then and print 3-4,7-8,11-12. You’ll probably stuff it up the first time with orientation, but keep trying – or keep a lookout for a “manual flip” print option to help you a little. Consider yourself lucky if you have access to a printer that does double sided.

Large Booklets

If it’s more than 40 pages (10 physical pages) then you’ll have trouble stapling, and you’ll need to generate your own numbers. If you use MS Word or Google Spreadsheet here’s a formula you can put in the first few cells, then select the appropriate area and drag down to see the order of pages you need.

Number pages: 12 (round up to multiple of 4)
Order: Page: Concatenated:
1 =IF(MOD(A3,4)=1,$B$1-((A3-1)/2),IF(MOD(A3,4)=2,A3/2,IF(MOD(A3,4)=3,(A3+1)/2,$B$1-(A3-2)/2))) =B3
2 =IF(MOD(A4,4)=1,$B$1-((A4-1)/2),IF(MOD(A4,4)=2,A4/2,IF(MOD(A4,4)=3,(A4+1)/2,$B$1-(A4-2)/2))) =CONCATENATE(C3,”,”,B4)

Rather than a staple through the middle of all pages, you could also fold each page individually, and stick that to the next folded page such that you pattern of pages would be: {4,1,2,3}, {8,5,6,7}, {12,9,10,11} … and so on.

For this you probably don’t need a formula – just repeat the pattern. But if you enjoy spreadsheet formula:

Order: Page: Concatenated:
1 =IF(MOD(A2,4)=1,A2+3,A2-1) =B2
2 =IF(MOD(A3,4)=1,A3+3,A3-1) =CONCATENATE(C2,”,”,B3)

With the latter you might cut each page down the middle fold or staple a few pages at a time – although the latter looks a bit weird since you will have multiple “spines”.

Stapling Your Booklet

If you are lucky, you can take the pages from the printer and, without needing to reorder, fold them all as one piece down the middle. An ordinary stapler will not have the reach from the edge of your A4 paper to the middle…. so a trick is to take two staplers, open up your two staplers, and then carefully put the bottom half of one to match under the top of the other and push down. Once again, there’s a good chance you’ll stuff up, but that’s part of the *fun*.

Best of luck!

Sincerely,

    Andrew Noske

2 =IF(MOD(A3,4)=1,A3+3,A3-1) =CONCATENATE(C2,”,”,B3)

How to Count Pages in a Stapled Booklet?

The simple answer is that you count pages as you would in any book, with the important consideration that the covers should be counted as well. We prepared this graphic to clarify even further

When counting pages to print a booklet, count each side as one page, starting with the front cover

This graph shows how a booklet comes together, including the location of the staples that hold it together

  • What is a page? It is one side of a sheet of paper. When the booklet is closed each side of each side becomes a page.
  • Does the cover count as a page? Yes: The front cover is counted as PAGE #1
  • The backside of the front cover: It is PAGE #2 regardless of whether it blank or printed,
  • The next page The page that is opposite to the inside of the cover will be identified as PAGE #3 regardless of whether it is printed or blank. The process extends to the whole piece.
  • Pagination: From the perspective of pagination, it is a common practice to identify the first page after the cover, as page 1, but that is for readership purposes. For production purposes, you must adhere to the ruleset.

Paper Selection: Popular Stocks and Cases of Use

  • Product Catalogs: Product catalogs present products, specifications, pictures, and images that relate to the advantages of using the offered products: Glossy paper is recommended for the inside pages because of the smoothness of the print.
  • Event Books: In this type of publication, you will find schedules, program descriptions, and advertising. Both uncoated paper or glossy paper could be good choices. If you expect the assistants to take notes on their saddle-stitched programs, uncoated paper is the way to go. The covers can be made out of thicker coverstock, usually glossy
  • Training manuals: Uncoated papers for stapled training manuals are our best suggestion
  • Magazines as used in museums, newsletters to contact members: Both options, glossy or uncoated are appropriate. Most institutions will choose uncoated paper because of budget decisions, which don’t affect the quality of the communication achieved

Booklets – File Preparation: How to prepare your artwork so that it prints successfully

Following these steps, you will be able to create artwork for booklets that can print correctly. This piece focuses on the mechanical file preparation work, not on the creative side of the booklet.

Other resources available to you: Do you want to know how to create a PDF? If so, click here

  • Select the Color Space: When creating the artwork for the printing of booklets use settings in your graphic design software for the CMYK color space as opposed to RGB”
  • Image Resolution: Use 300 dpi for the images and for the creation of the file. Images pulled from the internet are low resolution and will look pixelated, no matter what you do with them in order to try to improve their quality.
    Some of the creative software available will only create low-resolution images by default, and that can’t be changed. Use professional software instead whenever possible.
  • Single pages or spreads? You should only provide single pages with bleed and cut marks in your file. We will impose it to build the spreads.
  • Create Margins and Safe Zones in your Design: In multipage books, you will notice that the thickness of the spine can be big, especially when the project has over 36 pages. At that point, because the sheets are folded, the cut marks start to lose some alignment from one sheet to the other. That is normal. What you should keep in mind is that the copy and information in your publication has to have generous margins so that nothing gets cut-out
  • File Output: Provide PDF File Format: Your document should be prepared in PDF format as opposed to jpg, tiff, png and other raster formats. Each page of the booklet should be its own page in the PDF file and include bleed and crop marks. In other words, if your booklet has 8 pages, your PDF file should have 8 pages that we will properly arrange. See Q&A for more details.DO NOT submit reader’s spreads, since we can’t print out of it. Your file need to be replaced.

Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

Question: Which are the Most Common Sizes of Booklets

Answer:The most common sizes have the size of the pages to be 8.5″x11″ which is a LETTER SIZE, or half page 5.5″x8.5″
Other sizes are possible as well. Examples are 8″x8″ square booklets, and billboard-style booklets. We can produce them all, but their prices are not reflected in the calculator. Request a custom quote via a phone call at 1-877-421-2668 or submitting a cutom quote request.

Question: How do the sheets hold together in a stapled book?

Answer: The multiple-sheet-booklet is held together through the use of 2 staples that are placed on the spine of the booklet

Question: Is there a minimum or maximum number of pages required to make a booklet?

Answer: On our instant online calculator, you will be able to configure and place orders for books of up to 60 pages including the covers. GOOD NEWS: THAT’S NOT THE LIMIT! Our production equipment can handle custom books of more than 60 pages.  Please call us at 1-877-421-0668 for projects that go beyond the limits of the tool.

Question: Within the upper limit of 60 pages, can I order any number of pages between 0 and 60?

Answer:  The total number of pages including the covers should be a multiple of 4
 Just as a reminder, in stapled booklets, the sheets get folded in half, providing 4 viewing sides, or 4 pages.

Question: Do stapled booklets have a flat spine?

Answer:  The spine forms a sort of an edge, not a flat rectangular area. Therefore there is no room to print messages on the spine

Question: Which file format should clients submit to order booklets?

Answer: We prefer a PDF document,
– where the pages are for single pages, not spreads,
– each page with its own crop mark and bleed.
Order of pages:The pages in the PDF file should be organized from first to last. The first page should be the front cover, and the last one would be the back cover.
As part of our work in the process of print preparation, we will combine the pages so that your book reads as planned once printed. If you have created one jpg image for every page and can’t create a PDF document, make sure that your documents include bleed and crop marks. Name your files sequentially as in this example: Page1.jgp / Page2.jpg……. etc. We will convert them for you and share a proof.

Question: When I upload a PDF document, will I see an instant proof?

Answer: You will be able to review the file as you created it, to make sure that you have uploaded the correct document. You will be able to flip pages and go through every single page of your documents. Remember that you need a number of pages that is a multiple of 4 (4 pages / 8 pages / 12 pages / 16 pages….. etc)

Did you know? Which machines apply the staples?

The binding method used for stapled or saddle-stitched booklets requires the fastening of the individual sheets through staples.

Take a look at the following image: These are simple machines, but they can be very complex. In one case, the machine that is on the left uses pre-made staples. The samples are pushed through the paper and “closed”. The machine on the right side uses a wire instead. The machine cuts the wire in the needed length (which is directly proportional to the thickness of the paper that we are binding), then pushes it through the paper and secures it.

How to Correctly Staple a Booklet

Booklets are everywhere—they act as programs for the school play, promotions for local businesses or handouts during training seminars. Whether printed at home or the local print shop, we usually staple booklets together through the outside cover to the centerfold of the book. However, this may not be the most efficient method. There’s a correct way to do it, and a variety of booklet staplers that can do the job.

Before You Start

Before you even start thinking about how to correctly staple a booklet, you have to know how to lay it out. Booklet pages come in multiples of four, folded in half and nested within one another. For example, an eight-page booklet will consist of the cover, and the inside pages will have print on both sides of the four sheets of paper. Page one and page eight will be on the back and pages two and seven on the front of the first sheet. Nested inside it will be a center-folded piece of paper with pages three and six on the back and pages four and five. They sit opposite each other on the front and folded in the middle, forming the center of the booklet.

Choose the Right Tool

Small, thin booklets consist of just a few pages stapled together with an ordinary office stapler and opened flat. With the pages in the right order and the outside cover facing you, staple firmly through the centerfold where the cover’s closed edge will be once you bind the booklet.

Larger booklets made of more pages or bigger paper will need a long reach stapler that accommodates the full width of the pages. Basically, you can fit the booklet all the way under the stapler head with one of these long reach staplers.

If you staple a lot of booklets regularly, you’ll want to invest in a booklet stapler. These have an inverted “V” shaped holder that looks a little like a saddle. As such, the name for this kind of center-staple binding is “saddle-stitched,” even though they use staples and not thread. The pages of the booklet drape over the “saddle” with the cover facing out and the center of the book resting on the inverted “V.” The stapler then fires the fastener through the fold of the back cover, holding the booklet together in the middle.

If you’re not sure how to correctly staple your booklet, contact customer support, and we’ll be happy to help you select the right stapler for your project.

90,000 Booklet printing in Nizhny Novgorod

The booklet first appeared in France. The word boucle is translated as adding several times. Therefore, the name of the product speaks for itself so that there is no confusion.

In the printing industry, each product has a clear characteristic and name. For example, sheets bound with a paper clip are called a brochure, and a sheet folded at least once is called a booklet. Before choosing one or another printed material, let’s figure out how they differ from each other and how to make them effective.

What is a booklet?

This is a paper product with at least one fold. It is made using offset or digital printing, depending on the circulation. Advertising brochure can be of the following types:

Elevator – a folded sheet of paper, which briefly lists the services that the company provides, also indicates the phone number, e-mail and the location of the organization. Most often, this product is of an advertising nature, for example, in banks, these products are made for each proposal.

Presentation – has an informational character, tells about the activities of the company or describes in detail its products and services.

Premium – used for the purpose of presenting a company or a product; in this type of printed product, not the informative, but the visual part is in the first place. It is designed in the corporate colors of the company, made in an envelope and folder, and added to the pages with high quality photographs. To add luxury to it, you can print on designer paper using silk-screen printing and varnishing.

What is the difference between a booklet and other printed materials?

It is most often compared to a leaflet or brochure.

A leaflet is a small sheet of A4 size. Its main goal is to attract the attention and interest of a potential client.

Booklet is an informative type of printed matter. It differs from leaflets primarily in that it can have one, two or three folds, more text can be placed in it and a clear structure can be made when telling about a company or a product.

Brochure – a booklet with a thin cover, which is glued together, sewn with a paper clip or spring, its volume is from 4 to 48 pages. It differs from the booklet in that this type of product is used to compile catalogs with the goods and services of the organization, most often it is not provided as an advertising product, but is given to the client for review.

Tips for creating cool booklets

In order to create beautiful print products that will interest your potential customers, you need to consider the following factors:

Background color.It affects how well a person will perceive the products you advertise. The following background colors are best: white, light beige, pink, gray, and blue;

Font selection. It is best to use fonts without italics and underlining, it is better to highlight key points in a different color to emphasize readability;

Selection of illustrations and photographs. It is important that the pictures characterize the target audience of consumers. Emphasize the emotional component, complementing it with meaning;

Design.Pay attention to the fact that everything is combined with each other: corporate colors, illustrations and text design;

Signs of trust. The client needs to see the product that contains images of personnel, logos and corporate seals of the organization. These inserts will create a sense of security;

Testing. After picking up photos, test them among employees or acquaintances in order to understand what kind of emotional reaction the product evokes;

90,000 Booklet printing – the price for making a booklet online in Moscow

Once upon a time there was a German merchant-inventor who did everything according to science.Before launching his product on the market, he printed colorful flyers, placed them in the most crowded places and began to observe the reaction of people. Watching them, he noticed that everyone who took his leaflets, before putting them in their pockets, folded them in half. Having immediately learned from a friend’s tailor the typical width of the inner pockets, the businessman ordered a new print run of leaflets – now folded in half, with one bend, on thick paper to fit the width of the pocket. So Rudolf Diesel was the first in the world to invent and order the printing of booklets, and German printers introduced the term folding (from falzen – to bend) into circulation.Actually, this story shows how the production of booklets differs from the production of other advertising materials, namely: – folding (with one, two or more folds of the original sheet).

For more than 100 years, booklet printing has been accompanying almost every advertising campaign. What is the secret of the success of such, at first glance, a simple invention like folding a sheet, and why booklet making has become a classic of the genre?

Firstly, because it is inexpensive, because the booklet consists of only one sheet, which does not require any additional steps, except for printing.”Booklet printing is cheap in Moscow” – advertisements of this kind can often be seen on the Internet, and all these advertisements are based on one obvious fact: from a financial point of view, booklet production (printing a booklet) is the least expensive in relation to any other type of multi-page color printing.

Secondly, thanks to folding, the booklet, in fact, acquires conventional pages, the separator of which is the bend itself. Moreover, the number of pages is directly proportional to the number of folds.Printing booklets, templates of which provide only one fold (fold), have four pages, and two folds already give as many as six pages of text. Booklets in Moscow are also very popular, the templates of which have four folds – these are 10 separate lines for graphics and text. There are many ways to curly fold paper. In Japan, even a whole art is devoted to this – origami. And on each of these methods, theoretically, the production of booklets in Moscow can be built.

There are booklets, the templates of which are almost as difficult as Rubik’s cube. But such puzzle booklets are often more of a design delight than a working advertising tool.

A booklet is a small book about a product or service. As in the present book, it has its own plot, the development of the topic and the final culmination, and there are exactly as many pages in this book as it takes to intrigue the reader-consumer. But if dozens of employees are slowly working on a real big book in publishing houses, then the development and production of booklets urgently always burns in time and is often closed to one single designer, who is constantly “sewn up”.That is why it is so important to have a working relationship with a professional printing house, where they can help with advice and where, if necessary, urgent printing of booklets is possible.

If you are looking for a printing partner capable of providing fast and high-quality printing of booklets at cheap prices in Moscow, then the online printing house Digital-Printing.ru is exactly what you need. Booklet Printing: Structuring and Manufacturing Process

The process of manufacturing products that are widely used in various spheres of human activity, whether it be printing advertising booklets of various sizes or a simple leaflet, must be carried out in compliance with all the rules for forming the content of the finished product:

  1. Comparison of text fragments with the working area of the finished product. At this stage, the main thing is to identify the information that is of greater interest to the reader.In the case of compact products, the creation of the structure plays a major role. Printing a booklet for a short time is a quick process, but the revisions that may be required at any of the stages can be very undesirable.
  2. Determination of the text order taking into account the existing images, which also take up a certain space and, therefore, reduce the text field.
  3. Rational distribution of informative material across product pages.

Booklet printing is done quickly, if all the wishes of the customer are initially taken into account.Therefore, before the start of the next stage, which includes the manufacturing process itself, our employees carry out a thorough check of compliance with

Booklet making

The production of advertising brochures begins with the preliminary processing of materials. It is very important to know how to distribute the available information on the preliminary sketch of the product. When this stage is completed, the next process begins. We print A3 booklets, as well as other sizes, even if they are non-standard, but are required by the customer according to his idea.

Booklets should be made using quality paints and a certain type of paper. Without observing these two requirements, it is impossible to achieve a good result even with a well-thought-out layout of the text.

Since all printed products are produced on our own equipment, we guarantee not only the quality and compliance with all the required deadlines, but also the optimal cost. On our website you can find the appropriate prices that will pleasantly surprise you, given the total circulation.

Booklet is a sheet of advertising and informational printing products with one or several folds.

Eurobook or leaflet – a booklet of 210×100 mm format, originally intended for mailing.

What are brochures for?

If leaflets are intended for a small amount of information, then the booklet can accommodate much more, while remaining a compact printed product.At the same time, thanks to their colorful design, booklets are an effective means of promoting a company, its services and products.

In fact, the booklet has the advertising advantages of leaflets and the informational advantages of catalogs: the cover attracts attention, the inner content tells about the offer in more detail, and the compact size makes it easy to fit it even into a small women’s handbag. When making a booklet, you can provide for the presence of tear-off elements to receive a discount or a gift, as well as paste in a free sample or a discount card.

Examples of brochures

A booklet is a sheet of paper folded one or more times. The most popular type of advertising brochure is the so-called euro booklet or leaflet, which is an A4 sheet with two folds. However, this printing format provides almost unlimited design possibilities, from a sheet of A3 format folded in half to a strip of paper with a dozen folds that forms a small book of the original form.

In order to use all the advantages of a booklet as an advertising medium, it is necessary to formulate the audience and the style of presenting information, on the basis of which an effective design layout is created and an adequate performance is chosen.Most often, for the production of a booklet, coated paper and full-color two-sided printing are used.

Technical details

The option for making a booklet is selected depending on the goal.

Full-color booklets on coated paper with a density of 90-250 g / sq.m. are able to perfectly perform both advertising and information functions. When ordering full-color booklets urgently or with a print run of up to 500 copies, it is beneficial to use digital booklet printing.For a large circulation, it is better to choose offset printing of booklets, which guarantees a significant reduction in the cost for 1 copy with an increase in quantity.

Full-color printing of booklets on digital or offset machines does not imply any restrictions on the use of halftones, solid, detailed images and allows you to get excellent results.

Image booklets are exclusive advertising products and, in this case, the execution of the booklet is limited only by imagination and technical capabilities of modern equipment.You can print booklets on designer paper or plastic, provide an original shape and any post-printing processing: embossing, varnishing, special inserts, etc. In this case, the technical capabilities, cost and timing of booklet production should be discussed separately with the manager of the printing house, who can also act as an experienced consultant and offer his ideas.

Information brochures can be made using economical offset paper and one-two-color printing on a risograph.Replication technology allows you to print booklets cheaply and in the shortest possible time, regardless of the circulation, but also entails limitations in the transmission of halftones, the use of dies and a smaller font.
