Royal mail redelivery track: I need help with my Redelivery

Содержание

I need help with my Redelivery

If you’ve missed a delivery and want to arrange to have your item re-sent to you, you can arrange a Redelivery.

I missed my delivery, can I book a Redelivery?

Yes – the fastest way to do this is online.

Please note: We need two working days to arrange the Redelivery. We won’t be able to redeliver to a business address on days when that business is shut. Some businesses also ask us not to deliver to them on certain days, particularly at weekends.

You can’t arrange a Redelivery for:

  • The same day as the original attempted delivery
  • The working day after the original attempted delivery

Can I get my item sooner?

You can collect it from your local Customer Service Point. This is the address on the Something for you card we left. You can usually collect your item the next working day. But please check the card to see how long you should wait before you collect. The card will either detail the office opening hours or ask you to check royalmail.com/services-near-you or the Royal Mail app for times.

If you do choose to collect your item, remember to take the card we left and proof of ID. More help with collecting your item and what ID you need to take.

If you choose to have your item redelivered, we need two working days to arrange it. This allows for your item to get back to the Delivery Office and be sent out again

What time will my item be redelivered?

The times we deliver vary around the country – from early morning until late in the evening. We normally include items for Redelivery on parcel routes. These should be around the same time as the one written on the Something for you card. However, we can’t guarantee this.

If you’re expecting a Redelivery and haven’t got it yet, please wait until the next day before contacting us. We may still be out delivering.*

How do I arrange a Redelivery if I’ve lost my Something for you card?

You can still book a Redelivery online. You’ll need the following information:

  • Date the card was delivered
  • Name on the item (or your name if there was no name on the card)
  • Address on the item
  • Number of items

If you don’t know this information, please contact us using the link at the bottom of this page.

The following information will also help us arrange your Redelivery, but you can still book without it:

  • The type of item you’re expecting (eg a letter, parcel, Royal Mail Tracked ® item etc)
  • The item reference number

Please note: you won’t be able to collect an item in person without a Something for you card.

Can I rearrange a Redelivery if I don’t have an item reference number?

Yes, if we left a card without an Item reference number, or you’ve lost the card, you can still book a Redelivery. You’ll need to leave the ‘Item number’ field blank.

My item reference number isn’t recognised. Can I still book a Redelivery?

Yes, as long as you know the other information required, just leave the ‘Item number’ field blank.

I have more than one item reference number. Do I enter them all?

Please enter just one item reference number on the form. Don’t forget to select the correct number of items for Redelivery. If the full number isn’t included on the form, some of your items might not be redelivered.

Can I cancel or change my Redelivery?

We’re sorry, but once a Redelivery is booked it can’t be cancelled or changed. That means your Redelivery will go ahead as ordered. We’ll leave another Something for you card if there’s nobody to accept the item. You can either:

  • Book another Redelivery online for a date after the original attempt. Please remember we need two working days between attempted deliveries.
  • Pick your item up from your local Customer Service Point up to two days before the day of the booked Redelivery.

Why can’t I arrange a Redelivery?

There are a number of reasons this might happen:

  • The item has been returned to sender. We’ll hold on to your item for 18 days. The Redelivery date selected must be within that period.
  • You’re trying to arrange a Redelivery to another postcode area. This is the area that your local Delivery Office delivers to. We cannot redeliver to any address outside this area. So, for example, if you live in SE25, the same postcode area would be any other postcode starting with SE25.
  • You’re trying to arrange a Redelivery to another country. We can’t redeliver to any address outside the UK.
  • Your chosen Redelivery date is not appearing. We need two working days to arrange a Redelivery, only available dates will appear. Please remember we also don’t deliver on Bank Holidays.
  • Your item was sent by Special Delivery Guaranteed® or is an international item which requires a signature. For security reasons these items can’t be redelivered to another address.

I’ve received a yellow ‘Sorry we missed you card’, can I have my item redelivered?

You don’t need to book a Redelivery if you’ve received a yellow card, we’ll automatically try and deliver it again the next working day.

Can I have my item redelivered to a Post Office® to be collected?

Yes, you can arrange Redelivery to a local Post Office® branch.

Please note: The times we deliver to the Post Office® varies from branch to branch. So it’s best to collect your item later in the day. You can check your local Post Office® branch’s opening hours on Services Near You.

Royal Mail scam says your parcel is waiting for delivery – Malwarebytes Labs

We take a look at an SMS phishing messages which claims to have a parcel for you, with an unpaid shipping fee.

Expecting a delivery? Watch out for phishing attempts warning of held packages and bogus shipping fees. This Royal Mail delivery scam begins with a text message out of the blue, claiming:

Your Royal Mail parcel is waiting for delivery. Please confirm the settlement amount of 2.99 GBP via:

Uk(dot)royalmail-bill(dot)com

Lots of folks may assume this text message is genuine, along with the URL. This would be a mistake. What we have is a simple but effective phish. It takes advantage of several real-world factors to ensure it’s possibly a bit more believable than other missives landing in mailboxes.

What are they up to? Let’s find out.

“If you do not pay this your package will be returned”

The link leads to a fake Royal Mail page which as good as repeats the message from the text, with one important addition:

If you do not pay this your package will be returned to sender

It doesn’t mention how long is left until the package is returned. (There’s nothing like a bit of sudden pressure to make people jump through some hoops.)

The phishing page has two sections. The first asks for a lot of personal details like name, address, phone number, and email address. Clicking the continue button leads to a request for payment information, in order to pay the non-existent fee.

If the victim continues, the phisher has both their personal information and their credit card.

Why this phishing attack works

This is a smart scam, for a number of reasons.

  1. The phish carries the usual markers of urgency and a request for information. It also doesn’t provide any clue about what’s in the non-existent package or who it’s from, tweaking victims’ fear of missing out, while promising to make that information available for a reasonably small and realistic fee.
  2. The endless pandemic ensures huge numbers of people are buying everything online. It’s not uncommon for households to have a steady army of delivery people at the door. A week’s shopping, clothes, entertainment items, schoolbooks for the kids, and more besides are all conveyor-belting their way into homes daily. It’s quite easy to forget which parcels have been ordered and which have already arrived.
  3. Text messages being sent from an “official” delivery company number is a practice long since abandoned, and numbers are easy to spoof anyway. If you’re waiting on a parcel, you could get a message from pretty much any number at all including the personal mobile of the driver themselves so checking if the number is official or not is no help.
  4. In the UK, Brexit is causing no end of confusion over delivery charges. People and organisations simply don’t seem to know what to expect, and this kind of phishing scam plays off that confusion to the max. If you’re waiting on something from outside the UK and find out a parcel is almost within reach? It’s likely you may be tempted to fill in the payment information request so as not to risk having the package returned to sender.

Next steps

If you or anyone you know has been caught by this, contacting banks or credit card companies is a priority. This would also be a good time to explore our in-depth look at phishing tactics. It’s a particularly unpleasant scam to be caught out by, when a majority of people are reliant on postal services. If you’re in doubt over the status of a parcel, go directly to your delivery service’s website. What you’ll lose in time, you’ll more than make back in terms of your bank account remaining safe and sound.

Received A Fake Delivery Text? 8 Ways To Spot A Scam

Expecting a delivery? Watch out for phishing attempts warning of held packages and bogus shipping fees.

Three in five (61%) people have received fake delivery company texts over the past year, according to Which? research. With many relying on deliveries during the pandemic, fraudsters are posing as couriers and delivery companies.

Of those who received the scam texts, four in five (79%) realised it was fake immediately – but 3% said they lost money to the scam.

Of those surveyed who said they received one or more scam texts, seven in 10 (70%) had received one purporting to be from the Royal Mail.

Messages usually request a small payment for a parcel to be delivered, with a link to a copycat Royal Mail website, and victims are then called by scammers to try to trick them into sending large sums of money.

Royal Mail told Which?: “We remind our customers that Royal Mail will only send email and SMS notifications in cases where the sender has requested this when using our trackable products that offer this service. In cases where customers need to pay a surcharge for an underpaid item, we would let them know by leaving a grey ‘fee to pay’ card. We would not request payment by email or text.”

Scams can be difficult to recognise – that’s why they work. Here are some tips for staying protected, including advice from Santander, Nationwide and TransUnion’s fraud teams:

1. Avoid clicking links in emails or messages unless you’re sure you know the origin. Never open an attachment unless you’re 100% sure of its contents.

2. Be vigilant if you receive a communication you aren’t expecting. Be wary of unknown contacts and unexpected calls, emails, or messages. They should raise suspicion, especially if you’re asked to give personal or payment details.

3. If an offer, deal, or giveaway seems too good to be true, then it usually is.

4. Check your credit report every now and then. It can help you monitor for fraudulent activity if someone tries to use your identity in a scam.

5. Never share your personal details with anyone if you can’t confirm they are who they say they are. If you’re unsure, contact one of Citizen Advice scams advisers. They’ll give you advice about what to do next.

6. Watch out for poor grammar or dodgy spelling, they’re a red flag indicating they’re a scam giveaway. Legitimate organisations will rarely, if ever, make spelling or grammatical mistakes in their communications to you because they go through a rigorous process put together by professionals.

7. If someone calls up unexpectedly and tries to rush you into buying something, be suspicious. Don’t get caught up in the panic. Hang up.

8. Keep your login details for online banking safe at all times. Avoid writing them down and don’t share them with anyone. Likewise, never share your One Time Passcode (OTP) for online banking with anyone.

Beware of scam texts claiming to be from Royal Mail

  1. What was claimed

These images of text messages claiming to be from Royal Mail, asking for a payment to deliver a parcel, seem to be scams.

    Our verdict

The messages are almost certainly scams.

A number of posts on Facebook have shared images of text messages, purporting to be from the Royal Mail, which they say may be a scam. The messages do appear to be scams or hoaxes.

The messages are largely similar in their wording, they say a parcel addressed to the recipient requires a small fee in order to be delivered and directs them to a website in order to do so. For example one says:

“Royal Mail: Your package has a £2.99 unpaid shipping fee, to pay this now please visit […] Your package will return to sender if unpaid.”

When you attempt to go to the website linked in this text message using a Google Chrome browser a warning appears saying that the site may be deceptive. A link in another message no longer seems to be active.

Royal Mail has a customer help page which identifies known scam messages. A very similar version of this message appears there.

Royal Mail says that fake emails and messages claiming to be from them often:

    • state there’s a parcel waiting to be collected
    • ask for payment before an item can be released for delivery
    • prompt you to open a link or document
    • ask you to send a text message or call a phone premium rate phone number

Royal Mail also says that it will “never ask customers to enter information on a page that isn’t part of the Royal Mail website. ” None of the web addresses in the text messages we saw went to a royalmail.com web address.

A Royal Mail spokesperson told Full Fact: “Royal Mail will only send email and SMS notifications to customers in cases where the sender has requested this when using our trackable products that offer this service.

“The only time we would ask customers to make a payment by email or by SMS is in instances where a customs fee is due. In such cases, we would also leave a grey card telling customers that there’s a Fee to Pay before we can release the item. This would apply either to an international customs fee or to a surcharge for an underpaid item. This card may arrive later than the email or SMS.”

This article is part of our work fact checking potentially false pictures, videos and stories on Facebook. You can read more about this—and find out how to report Facebook content—here.

For the purposes of that scheme, we’ve rated this claim as true
because these messages are almost certainly scams.

Don’t Fall Victim to These Fake Royal Mail Emails & Text Messages

Email and text messages direct you to very convincing fake websites

The UK’s Royal Mail has warned of a spate of text messages and emails which trick residents into handing over their bank details to fraudsters.

The scams come in various formats but they all have a common theme: your parcel couldn’t be delivered and you need to take action in order to get it.

Whether you receive and email or an SMS, you’ll be told that either you owe a small amount of money for customs fees or that you were out and a new delivery date needs to be arranged, again at a cost of a couple of pounds.

The messages always include a link to a website where you’ll find a more or less convincing fake version of the Royal Mail site. You’ll be asked to choose a new delivery date then enter your name, address and even date of birth, followed by your payment information.

If you’re expecting a package, the scam is easy to fall for if you don’t stop and check the details. If you enter your card or bank details on a fake site, it won’t just be £2.10 you lose: the criminals will probably empty your account.

A spokesperson said, “Royal Mail will only send email and SMS notifications to customers where the sender has requested this when using our trackable products that offer this service. The only time we would ask customers to make a payment in an email or SMS is if a customs fee is due.”

This is why some of the fake messages are clever: Royal Mail does ask for payment in some of these cases.

It doesn’t, however charge for redelivery: you’ll usually get a ‘We missed you’ note through the door telling you where and when you can collect your parcel.

If a customs fee is due, you’ll also get a grey slip through your door telling you as much, but the email or SMS might arrive before the piece of paper does.

How to tell if the message is a scam

    1. Is the greeting impersonal?

Since the scammers don’t usually know who you are, the messages are typically impersonal and don’t address you by name. They’ll say ‘Dear Customer,’ or simply ‘Your package could not be delivered’.

    2. Is the address of the website correct?

Even fake websites can have the proper security and get a padlock symbol, but won’t have the correct address. The real website is royalmail.com and the www could be replaced by something else such as personal.help.royalmail.com – this is still the legitimate site.

Fake sites will have royalmail somewhere in the URL but cannot end in royalmail.com. For example the SMS shown at the top of this article links to royalmail-parcel-gb.com which at a glance sounds right, but is a scam.

    3. Does the message contain typos or poor grammar?

Look for poor grammar or errors. The same SMS begins ‘RoyalMail:’ which is a dead giveaway: the real name has two separate words. Then, the message is poorly written with commas separating what should be three separate sentences: “Sorry we missed you earlier, we have your parcel, to book a redelivery follow the link”.

    4. Is the tracking number genuine?

If there’s a tracking number included, check it’s genuine. Browse to https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item/ (type it in yourself, or search for ‘track Royal Mail’) and enter the number. Chances are, it won’t be found at all, or won’t show the correct address.

The same advice applies to all messages you receive, however you get them. Even if it sounds genuine, before typing in any personal information and certainly any payment details, check and double-check that the company in question has really asked for this and that you’re on the genuine website.

Antivirus software can help, too, and the best will warn you when you click on dangerous links that the site you’re about to visit could be a fake.

You should consider running antivirus software on all your devices for this reason: not just your PC or laptop, but your phone and tablet too.

The official Royal Mail website has more examples of scam emails and messages, and also allows you to report any scams sent to you.

Warning over ‘missed delivery’ parcel scams this Christmas | Scams

As millions shop online for Christmas, they are being targeted by fraudsters sending scam texts and emails. These claim to be from the courier service DPD or Royal Mail, and say the firm has been unable to deliver an item.

Now highly prevalent, they feature a link to a website where the receiver is asked to input their bank card details to pay “extra” postage costs and told that if they do nothing their item will be returned to the sender.

A couple of days later the victim receives a call telling them their bank account has been compromised and that they should transfer the money to a “secure” account, which is actually under the criminal’s control.

This week the national fraud reporting centre Action Fraud said in the first week of December it had heard from 35 victims who had lost a combined total of £103,000 to the DPD scam.

One message, claiming to be from DPD, and seen by Guardian Money, says: “Due to a lack of complete address information, we have been unable to deliver your parcel number: 113375910844557. We require additional details to attempt redelivery of this parcel, as the address provided appears to be incomplete.”

It goes on to offer collection from its Acton depot and warns that fees will apply for any arranged delivery.

DPD told the Guardian that it would never ask people to send money for parcels to be redirected or redelivered, adding: “Nor would we ask consumers to give us their bank details.”

It has a page on its website with an example of a scam email and tips on how to spot a message that has been fraudulently sent in its name.

A less convincing email, claiming to be from Royal Mail, states, in rather poor English: “Your Package is stopped at our post. A £2.95 shipping cost have not been paid.”

UK Finance, the organisation representing banks, says consumers should avoid clicking on links in emails and always access websites by typing the addresses separately into a web browser.

Katy Worobec, its head of economic crime, says: “With more of us than ever expecting to send and receive gifts by post this Christmas, criminals are looking to cash in.

“Often they will claim a parcel hasn’t been delivered as a way to trick people into giving away their personal and financial details, which are then used to commit fraud.”

We are urging people not to give a gift to fraudsters this Christmas

    UK Finance’s Katy Worobec

She says customers tricked into clicking on links in this way will often then receive a call from the criminal pretending to be from their bank’s fraud team, trying to persuade them to move their money to a new account or reveal their passcodes.

“We are urging people not to give a gift to fraudsters this Christmas,” she says. “Always take a moment to stop and think before parting with your information or money, and avoid clicking on links in an email or text message in case it’s a scam.”

Anyone receiving one of these texts can report it to their mobile phone provider by forwarding the message to 7726, while suspicious emails can be sent to the National Cyber Security Centre via [email protected]

Scammers have also turned their attention to the Covid vaccination programme, with reports that people have been offered the chance to get the jab ahead of the queue. Approaches have been made by text and from a recorded voice message by phone.

In each case, the recipient is asked to respond by clicking a link in the text message or by pressing 1 when receiving the call. They are then asked to give personal information, as well as financial details to book their vaccination.

Consumers are being reminded that the NHS’s Covid vaccines are free and there is nothing anyone can do to get ahead in the queue.

ROYAL MAIL Tracking | Tracking Royal Mail Parcel and Cargo Delivery

    What is Royal Mail?

Royal Mail is the iconic postal service in the United Kingdom that includes parcels and parcels delivery, EMS and freight forwarding. The postal service is one of the oldest in the world, it was founded in 1516 and its logo is not only synonymous with postal services, but also ranks among the most reliable and recognized delivery services in the world, especially in the United Kingdom.

A particularly visible part of Royal Mail’s identity are the bright red pillar boxes, which serve as post offices for customers to drop off their mail, and postmen and women will pick it up during their rounds for their final destination. Mailboxes are a common sight in the UK, and the term “red mailbox” was literally coined in connection with the bright red color of the Royal Mail mailboxes that can be seen on the streets of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland….

Although the service primarily serves UK customers, its services include forwarding and delivering mail from other couriers such as its subsidiary, Parcelforce and General Logistics Systems (GLS). Royal Mail can also handle processing and delivery for a number of marketplaces and e-commerce websites such as Amazon and eBay.
The company delivers to approximately 29 million addresses throughout the UK six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and has over 12,000 UK post offices and 52 Parcelforce Worldwide locations.

Royal Mail Group became a publicly traded company in 2011. A division of Royal Mail’s postal centers, Post Office Ltd, subsequently became independent of the Royal Mail Group and was reorganized into a subsidiary of Royal Mail Holdings with separate management.

How can I track my Royal Mail package?

You can track your Royal Mail package using one of two options. You can track your Royal Mail package through the Royal Mail internal tracking system which can be found on their website. The second option is to use a specialized tracking system like Ship24.

The benefits of using specialized tracking systems have prompted many to use them instead of companies or parcel delivery services. To explain this in more detail, please find the list below, which explains how they compare to traditional tracking methods:

    • Multiple Courier Tracking: Tracking with a single parcel delivery company or postal service such as Royal Mail means you are only limited to tracking through that service. If your parcel changes hands to another courier (for example, if you are sending something overseas from the UK and the parcel is being handled by Royal Mail’s subsidiary GLS when it leaves the UK), it could mean that you are having difficulties with tracking your parcel after a certain point. With a multi-courier tracking system, not only will you be able to keep track of your package no matter how many times it changes handlers, but you can do it all from one place using only your package tracking number. The Ship24 system is universal, which means that wherever your package or package is in the world, you can track your package on the Ship24 website.
    • Single-store tracking: Not only do people not want to worry about their packages changing hands, but they also don’t want to visit different websites to track packages that might be sent by different couriers. If you ordered one item from Alibaba which is processed by China Post and another item from Ebay which is processed by DHL, you would like to be able to track both of these packages without having to visit both of those packages.China Post and DHL sites at the same time. With Ship24, you can track packages sent by multiple couriers at the same time. In fact, you can enter 10 different tracking numbers at the same time on the Ship24 website, and its universal tracking system can instantly provide you with the whereabouts and status of all 10 shipments in real time. When it comes to shipping, Ship24 is the perfect shipping solution.
    • Superior Courier & Online Shopping Scanning: Ship24’s versatile tracking system tracks and tracks parcel information from over 900 couriers and counts, as well as thousands of online retailers to get the latest information on your parcel’s whereabouts and current status. We are constantly adding new couriers and stores as part of our ongoing quest to provide our users with the best tracking solution.
    • AI-Powered Machine Learning: Ship24 not only offers market-leading universal shipping tracking, but we also have a dedicated development team that has built AI-powered machine learning and 24/7 data quality monitoring into our system. This means that we constantly update and verify that our results are of value to our clients.Support: We also have a dedicated internal support team that can help resolve tracking issues. Users should be aware that while Ship24 can help with all of your tracking needs, issues with individual parcels such as damage or undeliverableness are the responsibility of the processor. However, buyers and sellers are encouraged to use Ship24 to track who is handling your package and where it is located in order to better understand or identify where there may be a problem with the delivery of your package. For example, if you are experiencing delays, going to the Ship24 website and tracking your package may alert you that it is stuck at customs due to processing issues. Therefore, you need to contact the courier about your package, check the current location and status with Ship24 before calling.

What are the best options for delivering Royal Mail parcels?

Royal Mail offers several different options for the delivery of parcels, depending on the needs of the client. However, it should be noted that the availability of this option may vary depending on the size and weight of the particular package, so it is best to check with Royal Mail to ensure the following services are available. Below you will find the most commonly used Royal Mail delivery options:

    • Standard Universal Service: The Royal Mails Universal Service is a legally required standard parcel delivery service whereby any item can be shipped anywhere in the UK for a fixed price based on distance to the parcel within the UK.without changing the amount.
    • Special Delivery: Royal Mail Special Delivery is an expedited delivery option for parcels, parcels and mail, which guarantees delivery before 13:00 the next day or 9:00 for a small additional cost.

(A money-back guarantee is provided for the special shipping option if the item is not delivered on time.)

    • Business Services: This service is for businesses that stamp their mail with a simple rubber stamp and ink pad, or use a printed label. For more information on business services visit the Royal Mail website.

All package delivery services provided by Royal Mail can be tracked throughout the Ship24 website. Whether you are sending a package to your neighbor or worldwide, Ship24 can provide you with location and status information in transit, no matter how many times it changes handlers.

There is no need to add additional information like parcel reference numbers or parcel destination, if you want to track your parcel on Ship24, just enter the tracking number you received when purchasing Royal Mail shipping (or that was sent to you by the seller when you purchased item delivered by Royal Mail) and immediately start tracking your package with the click of a button! You can check your parcel anytime, free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Where is my Royal Mail Tracking Number?

To find out where your Royal Mail package is located, you will need to use your tracking number that was sent to you when you purchased your Royal Mail delivery or that was sent to you in a confirmation email after you made an online purchase ( such as an e-commerce site or online store), or it will be sent to you directly by the seller.

Once you receive your tracking number, go to the Ship24 website (or Google Ship24 to find us) and start tracking your package immediately. There is no long form to fill out or multiple drop-down menus to select your package information, just enter your tracking number in the search bar and Ship24 will track over 900 couriers and thousands of stores to find the exact location of your package.

To better understand what the Royal Mail Tracking Number looks like, it is usually 9-27 characters long, consisting of numbers, letters, or both. Below is an example of some of the tracking numbers received by customers:

    • JV050194837GB
    • 1582DAD1057688A7
    • 0B84043728503019000

To track delivery status, follow these steps:

    • Find the tracking number that was provided to you upon purchase or in a separate email from the seller.
    • Enter your tracking code in the Ship24 search bar.

United Kingdom Royal Mail – Track the parcel, track, postal item on Posylka.net

    United Kingdom Royal Mail

The Royal Mail of Great Britain is a government agency of the United Kingdom that is responsible for the circulation of mail and parcels within the country and abroad. It was founded in 1516. It is part of the cooperative EMS-community, thanks to which it provides free shipments not only in the country, but also abroad.

The enterprise is constantly expanding and modernizing, entering into cooperation with new countries. The service has a head center and a large number of branches in the form of branches and post offices.

How to track a parcel on United Kingdom Royal Mail

It is possible to track and control parcels to United Kingdom Royal Mail to the smallest detail – the site contains an order passport with full data on its condition, date of packing, loading, location. The user can observe the entire path of his order himself by updating the main page.

In order to track the parcel, you must enter a track number in the cell, each is assigned the letter R. It consists of 2 letters at the beginning, 9 numbers and 2 letters at the end, is personal and is assigned strictly to one order. Tracking is activated 12 hours after the order is shipped.

By the status line “Accept shipment” the client can make sure that the order is ready for shipment and will soon leave the sorting center. The United Kingdom Royal Mail is then sent to the logistics department for distribution, where it is sorted and sent to the exchange office of the post office. The goods go through customs control and are delivered to the operator of the addressee’s country.

The package is tracked in real time, the results are uploaded in a new window. The “export” status means the final stage of the order path, followed by “import”. The final “pick-up” notification informs the customer of the final delivery of the goods to the pick-up location.

We recommend that you pay attention to the rules for sending through the United Kingdom Royal Mail:

    • The weight of the parcel must not exceed 2 kg, and the total dimensions (height, width, depth) must be no more than 90 cm;
    • United Kingdom Royal Mail express delivery is directly dependent on many conditions, including distance and weather;
    • Immediately after the payment is made, the shipment is not tracked – it takes up to a week to collect the order, pack it, register it in the database, after which the order is delivered to the sorting center;
    • If after the specified time the purchase has not been delivered, you can request back its cost by writing to the online store and requesting a refund.

    You have the opportunity to track the parcel from registration through United Kingdom Royal Mail to arrival at local mail. In this case, when crossing the border, the order is transferred to the postal service of your country. For example, if you are a citizen of Russia, then after crossing the border, the Russian Post will be responsible for the cargo;

    Advantages of working with Posylka.net

With the Posylka.net service, you can easily track multiple tracks from the United Kingdom Royal Mail and other mail services from around the world at the same time, without worrying about crossing the border of one country and binding tracks.

Fill out the registration form on the main page of Posylka.net, enter the track code in the column at the top of the site, click the search button. In a few seconds, data on the location of the parcel will be available to you, its path is laid, and you can also calculate the approximate time before the arrival of the order thanks to the summary delivery schedule.

90,000 What to do if a package is lost: how to find a shipment or get your money back | T — Z: Magazine about your money

I often buy from online stores and use mail several times a month.

Most often, parcels arrive on time and without damage, but several times the mail let me down. In this article I will tell you how to track parcels and what to do if the parcel has not arrived.

    Save all data

When there are a lot of purchases, there is a risk of losing or accidentally deleting letters containing numbers, order dates, track numbers, etc. To prevent this from happening, organize a simple and convenient storage system.Any of the tools that you use are suitable for this: shortcuts in mail, notebooks in Evernote, a folder in Dropbox. The tool is not important: it is important that you make an effort and save the order information.

For all expensive purchases, I take notes in Evernote with product descriptions and photos from the store’s website. I also add the price and date of purchase there. I track all track numbers in the application “ Where parcel “. When it comes to contacting a store or re-ordering something, a shopping notebook can save you tons of time.

    Check delivery times

Delivery times depend on the type of postal service, the recipient’s city and country of origin.

Usually, stores indicate the average delivery time at checkout. If delivery is free, then the seller will send the order with the cheapest operator that delivers longer than competitors. The higher the rate, the faster the delivery will be.

Purchases from Europe are delivered on average up to 28 days, from the USA up to 30 days, from China the parcel travels on average 40 days, but sometimes it takes 90.Detailed statistics on international shipments are available on the site for tracking parcels “ Track24 “.

To find out where your parcel is, use services that track all kinds of track numbers, for example, “ Track24 “, “ Where is parcel ” and “ Where is

Make sure that the parcel is not stuck at customs, in sorting point or when sending. This happens not only in Russia. One time I ordered boots in London during a Christmas sale, and they lay at Heathrow Airport for a week due to an overload of the Royal Mail.

Until the parcel crosses the Russian border, the delivery service chosen by the seller is responsible for it. After the parcel has passed customs, it is delivered by the Russian Post. Some track numbers become untraceable at this point.

    You shouldn’t love Russian Post

This parcel arrived at the post office on February 20

This parcel arrived at the post office on February 20

In such cases, you need to add the days for which the Russian Post delivers mail between the cities of Russia to the delivery time. There is a table with the dates on the mail website, but I do not believe in these numbers and always add the same amount, even for delivery in Moscow.

Deadlines for sending parcels, PDF, 1.6 MB

For example, if a purchase from Aliexpress with a declared delivery time of 35 days has just left customs, then the post office in Nizhny Novgorod must be reached at three days. In reality, this is at least six days, so the realistic delivery time increases to 41 days.

    Write to the seller

If the delivery time of the parcel is out, I recommend writing to the seller.Include in the letter the date and number of the order, tracking number and say that the order is still not with you.

Most often, sellers do not argue with this and submit shipments themselves to the wanted list, and the buyer is offered a full refund or re-shipment. Once my parcel from the UK passed the border and got lost at a sorting point in Moscow. I contacted the support service of the store, and the order was sent again. The second time he arrived without any problems.

My correspondence with the store about the lost parcel

My correspondence with the store about the lost parcel

Chinese sellers from Aliexpress do not like to return money for the purchase if the delivery time has not expired for several months. With them, I always agree to re-send the order.

If the online store does not have Russian-speaking support, and you do not speak English, translate the text in an automatic translator and send it. Do not be shy about machine translation: the main thing is that the seller will understand the problem and you will get your money back.

    Open a dispute

Sometimes sellers send defective goods, make mistakes with an order, or don’t pack the package securely enough. Sometimes the track number turns out to be fake, and the seller does not respond to messages. In all cases, the goods are considered undeliverable.

If this is a purchase from the online auctions “Aliexpress” or “Ibei”, then you can open a dispute over it. A dispute is a tool for resolving conflicts between a buyer and a seller. The auction site, that is, the administration of Ibey or Aliexpress, is responsible for their regulation. The general rules are similar: the site guarantees a refund to the buyer if the goods were not delivered, arrived with defects, the seller made a mistake in completing the order or the photos and the description of the goods on the site do not correspond to the real ones.

    Ebey shopping rules

To open a dispute, you need to contact the seller. On Aliexpress, this can be done in the menu of placed orders, on Ibey – in the section of the site “Conflict Resolution Center”.

The seller is given several days to resolve the dispute, if during this time he does not get in touch or solve the problem, the site returns to the buyer the full cost of the order.

Disputes lower the seller’s rating, so they try to close them quickly and apply for a refund themselves after contacting them.I use disputes to get money back from sellers who do not respond to messages.

A dispute can also be opened if the received product does not match the photos on the site

A dispute can also be opened if the received product does not match the photos on the site

If the purchase is not from an auction, but from a separate store, then a dispute over it is possible open only if the payment was made through the PayPal system – there is also a buyer’s protection system in place. In all other cases, you need to write to the seller.

    Go to the post office

Sometimes postal employees do not bring mail notices, put them in the wrong box or lose the package at the department. If, judging by the track number, the parcel is already in Russia and you suspect that the mail is to blame, go to battle.

Take your passport with you and state the track number of your parcel in the mail. The number will be checked and, if the parcel arrived, they will issue it without notice. In this case, it is important not to miss the storage time of items – 30 days for parcels and 6 months for parcels and small packages.

Terms of storage of mailings at the Russian Post

If the parcel is tracked at the department, but the employees refuse to look for it and say that they have not received anything, then this is a reason to call the hotline of the Russian Post and complain about the work of the department.

It makes no sense to put on the wanted list a parcel that was not sent by you: before delivery to the addressee, the postal items are the property of the sender. Therefore, the Russian Post does not accept search applications without a copy of the receipt of the dispatch and pays compensation first of all to the sender.

More details about compensation for damage on the website of the Russian Post

    Complain about the mail

If the mail systematically loses parcels, does not bring notifications, refuses to accept applications, and calls do not lead to anything, you can leave a complaint about this branch of the Russian Post at Roskomnadzor website. For slow delivery and other violations of work, the department will receive a fine and, perhaps, will be corrected.

    Contact the bank

It is worth challenging the payment for a purchase through the bank only if all other methods of influencing the seller did not work.

Each case of a conflict between a seller and a buyer is considered separately, therefore the bank advises clients on the situation. For example, he asks to send the defective product back, write a statement describing what happened to the purchase, and attach proof that the product does not match the description declared on the website. For advice, you can contact Tinkoff Bank via chat, by phone or e-mail.

I recommend dealing with sellers and shops directly, it is always faster and more efficient than collecting evidence and writing statements.

    Remember

    1. Organize your purchase data storage system.
    2. Check the delivery time of each parcel in tracking services.
    3. If there is no parcel, write to the seller. Direct contact is the fastest way to get your money back.
    4. Open a dispute if the seller does not respond to messages.
    5. Russian Post may lose the parcel at its branch. Go to the post office and ask the staff to check it.
    6. As a last resort, cancel the payment through the bank.

Where parcels from China are lost. What to do if the package from Aliexpress is lost at the Russian Post? What to do if the package is lost at the Russian Post with Aliexpress

It just so happened that, having ordered another batch of knickknacks in China, my parcels got into a giant jam that happened at the Aliexpress sale at the end of the 12th year. And in the end, almost all got out successfully, but two pieces were lost altogether. Of course, according to Murphy’s law, the most expensive and expected. This is a healthy bag of 1000 pieces of white LEDs and a roll of film photoresist. Moreover, in terms of tracking, they were exported from China, but they did not show up on our side. I negotiated with the Chinese, and they delayed the delivery time as much as they could, assuring that everything was fine and the goods were just moving slowly due to congestion. And in the end, due to lack of experience, they persuaded me to confirm receipt of the goods without opening a dispute.I confess, I was wrong, but almost 15 parcels always reached that, sometimes for a long time, but nothing was lost anywhere and the Chinese as a whole did not fool, and sometimes they even put more than I ordered. As a result, after another couple of months of waiting, I realized that the parcels were definitely lost. I decided to start looking for them.

To begin with, I contacted the Chinese and asked them to look for the lost packages. Both suppliers replied that they made inquiries to the China Post and received a reply that the parcels were exported to Russia and you need to look for them there.

    1) I signed up with the Chinese and asked to send Invoice (it took me a long time to get into the essence of the document, which remotely resembles our invoice, in domestic practice there is no analogue of such a document). This is what the Chinese sent me (here and there I had to correct it by hand)

    2) I downloaded the Russian post office from the website and filled out the form (http://fc.russianpost.ru/DownLoad/For_Site/Uslugi/Blanks/Prilog_5.doc) although in theory it can be asked at the post office, but I did not risk it and came with his.

    3) With an invoice and an application, I went to the nearest post office (not necessarily the central one) and registered everything there. The head of the department registered, two applications, one for the parcel, from each I got a receipt.

    4) A couple of days later I received a letter with information that my appeal from Taganrog was forwarded to Moscow, to the Department of Claims Work (DPR) and I will receive an answer in two calendar months! Okay, I began to wait patiently.

    5) Almost three months later, without waiting for any response, I wrote an e-mail to [email protected] (which was listed on the official website of the Russian Post as a contact for the department of claims work). In the letter I enclosed scans of receipts and letters received from the Taganrog main post office “on the transfer of the case to Moscow,” and asked at what stage the consideration of my question was. Almost immediately, the mail robot answered me:

    Dear Client!

Your appeal has been accepted and will be considered within the time frame established by law.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian Post”

And a little later I received a more extended answer:

    Good afternoon.

In response to your inquiry regarding postage RB343007485CN, we inform you: Your appeal has been accepted for consideration in the Division of Appeals and Complaints of the Department of Claims on International Postal Exchange, registration number 36115-13.

Sorry, the check is not complete at this time.

You will be informed about the results additionally.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that no response to an on-line request is provided.Incoming requests are processed in the order of priority.

    Best regards,

    Specialist of the Analytical Department

    Claims Department

    for international postal exchange

mail – branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian Post”

That’s an interesting answer. That is, “we are working, wait and do not write to us anymore.”Well, there was not much choice, although I had already begun to think about contacting the prosecutor’s office. As people wrote on the Internet, the lack of a promised response to an official appeal, within a specified period (2 months) – there is a precedent for the relevant authorities. But in the end he scored and decided to wait.

    6) And now, after another two months from the moment of sending my email and almost five months from the moment of filing an application for search (and more than a year from the moment the parcel was sent), I finally received an answer!

The beauty and grandeur of the syllable were admirable! “We would like to inform you that as a result of the inspection, the loss of this postal item was established at the internal stages of its processing on the territory of the Russian Federation … On behalf of FSUE Russian Post, please accept our apologies for the fact that the quality of postal services in this case was not up to par.At the same time, please accept my apologies for the delay in providing an answer, which was caused by objective reasons. ”

Exactly what objective reasons caused the search for the parcel within 5 months was not specified to me. Apparently, these reasons were as obvious as they were objective, so writing about them is superfluous.

Well, in fact, what the Post replied to me: “We lost your parcel, but we will not give you the money for it, because until we delivered it, it is the property of the Chinese, and if the Chinese officially refuse this money and ask us to transfer it you – then we will refund your money. “

On this, in fact, it was possible to put an end to the search. I wrote in Chinese and tried to explain the problem. But for more than a year after the order, one of the suppliers has already completely closed his store, and the second answered me with complete silence. What is the point of the Chinese fooling themselves with complaints about a product for which they have long received money and spent it on rice?

That’s the whole story. What conclusions have I drawn:

    • Never
Do not confirm receipt of the goods until they are in your hands.Even if he almost arrived in the city by mail tracking, I’d rather open a dispute, and then take it off, and I won’t be persuaded by the Chinese. Not because the Chinese are crooks, no, because if the post office loses the package, this will be the only way to get the money back.
    • If you are looking for a package, then do not let go and press to the end. There is no answer within the prescribed time limit – take the documents and go to the prosecutor’s office. This should stimulate mailers and possibly ensure a positive search result.

When solving my question, I drew a lot of useful information from here: http://www.russiapochta.ru/forum/topic.php?forum=3&topic=451&p=1 about a similar history of the search for a parcel.

    Vkontakte

Information about orders is saved on the Aliexpress website automatically, but in order to get your money back in case of loss of the parcel, it is worth saving the entire history of the order in order to use it as evidence in a dispute. That is, open the section “My orders” and go to the description of the history of the purchase of goods. Check the tracking information and take a screenshot. If there are messages from the seller asking you not to open a dispute, save them too. Copy the track number and track the shipment with any tracking service, preferably several, so that you can later use the lack of tracking information as evidence in a dispute. Any information that is available on this order can be used as evidence.to win the argument. If the seller does not agree with the decision on the refund, the data you saved will play into the hands and you will have a better chance of winning the dispute. Despite the fact that all the information will be saved in the history of the order, providing evidence will speed up the dispute, and you are guaranteed to get your money back.

    Check delivery times

The delivery time for orders from Aliexpress is a maximum of 60 days. Depending on the chosen delivery method, the actual date of receipt of the goods from Aliexpress may differ. Each seller provides a guarantee of timely delivery and, in the event that the delivery time is exceeded for any reason, the buyer has the right to claim his money back. The seller’s warranty is part of a secure transaction, so if the package has not been received within a specific timeframe specified by the supplier for your order, the buyer has the right to extend the protection period or open a dispute for a refund.

You can open a dispute only when the delivery period comes to an end. The order history contains accurate information and the deadline for delivery, so if the order has not arrived before this date, you can safely open a dispute. The “Reminder” column in the order history contains the information “If your order is not delivered by a certain date, you can apply for a refund by opening a dispute.” The buyer has the right to independently extend the protection juice, but usually, as soon as the buyer opens a dispute, this period is extended by the seller himself. If you do not open a dispute by the specified date, your money will be sent to the seller, and the order will be closed.

    Write to the seller

If there is no tracking information in the order history, you can write to the seller to clarify the current location of the order. The seller is obliged to contact the logistics company to clarify the status of your order. To contact the seller, go to the order history and click on the “Message to the seller” button. Ask him for information about where your package is now. If the seller cannot tell you for sure, wait until the order completion date has passed and open a dispute. Unfortunately, nothing depends on the seller, and the problems with logistics are the fault of the transport company, so sellers, like buyers, are guided only by the delivery data that is publicly available.

    Open a dispute

The easiest way to get a refund is to open a dispute. If the package from Aliexpress is lost, wait until the delivery time expires and immediately open a dispute. The salesperson may suggest that you wait a little longer, but this is usually pointless. You can open a dispute for a refund under the following circumstances:

    Reason for dispute Return
The package from Aliexpress was lost and, there is no track information, or it has not been updated for a long time
The parcel arrived after the expiration of the delivery period, defective or the wrong product was sent Partial compensation of up to 50% of the cost of goods is provided
The seller indicated the old track number, while the parcel was not sent Full refund of the item price is provided
Postal service lost parcel from Aliexpress Full refund of the item price is provided

The Buyer has the right to open a dispute for a refund even if 60 days have not passed. Focus on the delivery time specified in the order history. It is worth noting that if the delivery time expires and you do not open a return dispute when the order is finally closed, it will be impossible to claim compensation from the seller. Keep track of shipments from Aliexpress and track shipping information regularly.

    Go to the post office

As noted earlier, some postal operators, such as China Post Registered Air Mail, do not track their shipments all the time.If there is no information about the track, although the time for receiving the parcel is already coming to an end, go to the post office and check if there is a parcel in your name. Sometimes postal operators do not notify about the arrival of the order. The reason may be damage to information about the recipient: name or address. Information printed on paper is glued to the parcel, if it gets caught in the rain or accidentally breaks, this can cause difficulties for the post office employee to identify the recipient, and due to the fact that the zip code is indicated when placing an order on Aliexpress, your parcel will still arrive to the post office you need. Notifications of the arrival of parcels are distributed within 1-2 business days, so in order not to waste time, go to the post office and find out if it is in your name or the address of departure from China.

    Complain to mail

If you think that the parcel arrived at the post office, but you were not given it, although you have information about the shipment, where it is precisely recorded that the parcel arrived at the address of the post office, perhaps your order was stolen by the post office. In this case, contact the head of the department and provide him with tracking information from the Aliexpress website, as well as proof that the parcel arrived at the destination country. He is obliged to provide a complaint form, by filling out which you can use it as evidence in a dispute. If it is found that the parcel has disappeared in the mail, you will be fully refunded for its cost.

    Contact the bank

The reason for the lack of a parcel from Aliexpress may be a banal problem with payment. When you place an order, you need to track all stages of its registration until the package is sent. Sometimes, the payment does not go through, and the goods, accordingly, are not sent.To clarify the reason for the payment problems, contact the bank. Perhaps you are having problems with servicing your cards or simply not enough funds on your account. Also, contact the bank if after a dispute you still have not received your money, the refund may have been frozen or is waiting for confirmation.

Many buyers do not track shipments from Aliexpress and are unquestioningly waiting for the package to arrive. So you can wait for months, and if the package has already been lost, it is not always possible to find it. If a package from Aliexpress is lost, users should remember a few tips on how to proceed in this situation:

    • Control the expiration date of the delivery;
    • keep track of the shipment and track the tracking regularly;
    • if the order has not arrived – open a dispute and do not agree to the seller’s alternative offers;
    • make screenshots and save information about the parcel;
    • open a dispute before the buyer’s protection expiration date.

Do not disregard this situation. If the package has not arrived, open a dispute and do not accept any alternative offers from the seller. According to the rules of the site, all parcels that did not reach the addressee are compensated in full.

For all expensive purchases, I take notes in Evernote with product descriptions and photos from the store’s website. I also add the price and date of purchase there. I keep track of all track numbers in the “Where package” application. When it comes to contacting a store or re-ordering something, a shopping notebook can save you tons of time.

    Check delivery times

Delivery times depend on the type of postal service, the city where the recipient lives and the country of origin of the goods.

Usually, stores indicate the average delivery time at checkout. If delivery is free, then the seller will send the order with the cheapest operator that delivers longer than competitors. The higher the tariff
, the faster the delivery will be.

Purchases from Europe are delivered on average up to 28 days, from the USA up to 30 days
    , from China
the parcel travels on average 40 days, but sometimes it takes 90 days.Detailed statistics on international shipments are available on the tracking website
    parcels “Track24”.

Make sure that the parcel is not stuck at customs, at the sorting point or when it is dispatched. This happens not only in Russia. One time I ordered boots in London during a Christmas sale, and they lay at Heathrow Airport for a week due to an overload of the Royal Mail.

Until the parcel crosses the Russian border, the delivery service that the seller has chosen is responsible for it.After the parcel has passed customs, it is delivered by the Russian Post. Some track numbers at this point become untraceable.

In such cases, the days for which the Russian Post delivers mail between the cities of Russia must be added to the delivery time. The table with the dates is on the website
mail, but I do not believe in these numbers and always add the same amount even for delivery in Moscow.

For example, if a purchase from Aliexpress with a stated delivery time of 35 days
during this time, just left the customs, then to the post office in Nizhny Novgorod
according to the standard, it should be reached in three days.In reality, this is at least six days, so the realistic delivery time increases to 41 days.

    Write to the seller

Most often, sellers do not argue with this and they themselves submit the items to the wanted list, and the buyer
offer full refund or resend. Once my parcel from the UK passed the border and got lost at a sorting point in Moscow. I contacted the support service of the store, and the order was sent again. The second time he arrived without any problems.

Chinese sellers from Aliexpress do not like to return money for the purchase
if the delivery time is not out for several months.I am always with them
I agree to re-send the order.

If the online store does not have Russian-speaking support, and you do not speak English, translate the text in an automatic translator and send it. Do not be shy about machine translation: the main thing is that the seller will understand the problem and you will get your money back.

    Open a dispute

Sometimes sellers send a defective item, make mistakes with an order, or don’t pack the package securely enough.

The general rules are similar: the site guarantees a refund to the buyer, if the goods were not delivered, arrived with defects, the seller made a mistake in the package
order or photos and product description on the site do not match
    real.

To open a dispute, you need to contact the seller. On Aliexpress, this can be done in the menu of placed orders, on Ibey – in the section of the site “Conflict Resolution Center”.

The seller is given several days to resolve the dispute, if during this time he does not get in touch or solve the problem, the site returns the full cost of the order to the buyer.

Disputes lower the seller’s rating, so they try to close them quickly and apply for a refund themselves after contacting them.I use disputes to get money back from sellers who don’t respond
    on messages.

If the purchase is not from an auction, but from a separate store, then a dispute on it can be opened only if the payment was made through the PayPal system – there is also a buyer’s protection system. In all other cases, you need to write to the seller.

    Go to the post office

Sometimes the post office employees do not bring mail notices, they put them in the wrong box
or lose the package at the department. If, judging by the track number, the parcel is already in Russia and you suspect that the mail is to blame, go to battle.

Take your passport with you and tell the track number of your parcel on the mail. The number will be checked and, if the parcel arrived, they will issue it without notice. In this case, it is important not to miss the storage time of items – 30 days for parcels
and 6 months for parcels and small packages.

If the parcel is tracked at the department, but the employees refuse to look for it and say that they have not received anything, then this is a reason to call the hotline of the Russian Post and complain about the work of the department.

It makes no sense to put on the wanted list a parcel that was not sent by you: before delivery
to the addressee, postal items are the property of the sender. Therefore, the Russian Post does not accept search applications without a copy
receipt of departure and pays compensation in the first place to the sender.

    Complain about mail

If the mail systematically loses parcels, does not bring notifications, refuses to accept applications, and calls do not lead to anything, you can leave a complaint about this branch of the Russian Post on the Roskomnadzor website. For the slow
delivery and other disruptions to the work of the department will receive a fine and, perhaps, will be corrected.

    Contact the bank

Dispute the payment for the purchase
through the bank is only if all other methods of influencing the seller did not work.

Each case of a conflict between a seller and a buyer is considered separately, therefore the bank advises clients on the situation. For example, asks to send the defective product back, write a statement describing what happened to the purchase, and attach proof that the product does not match
the description declared on the site. For advice at Tinkoff-Bank, you can contact the chat, by phone or e-mail.

    Remember

    1. Organize your purchase data storage system.
    2. Check the delivery time of each package in tracking services.
    3. If there is no parcel, write to the seller. Direct contact is the fastest way to get your money back.
    4. Open a dispute if the seller does not respond to messages.
    5. Russian Post may lose the parcel at its branch.Go to the post office and ask the staff to check it.
    6. As a last resort, cancel the payment through the bank.

The subjective feeling “something does not arrive for a long time” is not enough to be sure of the loss. Look on the website of the online store, in what time they promised to deliver your order.

    List of orders on AliExpress

These numbers come up for a reason. As a rule, the expected delivery time is close to reality. If there is plenty of time before the end of this period, just wait.

    Check where the package is

Parcels have track codes that can be used to determine their location. They are usually present in your personal account in the order card. If the parcel was sent by a private person, ask him for the necessary numbers.

Using the track code, you can find out the path of the load and see where it is stuck. It happens that the shipment lies for a long time at customs or in a sorting center, and not necessarily in a Russian one. This usually happens during the period or holidays – employees can not cope with the increased workload. This is unpleasant, but it is worth understanding and forgiving them.

The service is now provided by many services, here are some of them.

    1. Russian Post

Parcels sent from a Russian settlement are assigned a 14-digit track code. As for international parcels, on the Russian Post website you can find data only on those whose numbers begin with the letters R, C, E, V and L. The rest are considered untraceable.

    2.Where is Parcel

Here you can also trace the route of untracked shipments – but only to the border with Russia. There is nowhere for the service to take information from, since “” does not provide such data.

    3. Track24

There is also an untracked ship route to the Russian border. Sometimes the information continues to be updated further, but on the site they write that you should not believe it.

On the Track24 website, you can enter the track code of the parcel and find out how long on average such parcels are delivered. It may be too early to panic.

Make sure that the Russian Post is to blame

“Russian Post”, as the name implies, delivers within the Russian Federation. And the parcel can only be lost after it has ended up in the country. If the shipment has disappeared before, then it is useless to make claims to the domestic service.

If the track code shows that the parcel arrived safely in Russia and was lost at one of the stages here, you can proceed to the next steps to save the cargo.

    Go to the branch

Sometimes you simply do not receive a notification of the parcel. It shouldn’t be that way, but it does happen. If you see by the track number that the parcel is in the department, fill out the notification form on the Russian Post website, print it out and go there.

If the shipment is untraceable or is not clear where, also go to the department with. Ask that the parcels be searched by address, by last name, by track code. Sometimes they are found. Post employees who do not want to do this are motivated by a call to the hotline at 8-800-100-00-00.

If the required information is not available on the tracking service of the Russian Post or the data has not changed for a long time, and the shipment period has expired, you can declare the shipment on the wanted list. The duration of the cargo stay on the way is specified in the appropriate order – it can be different and depends on the type of departure and on the city. But this does not apply to parcels that are not tracked on the territory of Russia.

A search request can be filled out and sent on the website using the credentials from the portal “” or printed and taken to the department.

But there is a nuance: you need to attach to the application the check issued when sending the parcel, or a copy of it. You will have to ask the seller for it.

Applications for the search for domestic and international mail are accepted within 6 months from the date of dispatch.

A complaint about domestic shipments will be considered up to 30 days, for international – up to 90 days.

    Wait for decision

If the Russian Post recognizes that the shipment is missing, they will be compensated for it.

For a regular parcel sent from Russia, you will be paid the amount of the declared value. It is determined by the sender. It is indicated on the parcel itself and on the check, entered into the mail database.

You are also entitled to a tariff fee. Its size can be different, you can see it on the Russian Post website. Rates are valid for parcels sent by Russian mail. How much they took from a seller from another country, you can try to find out from him.

Compensation for an international item without a declared value shall be calculated in the artificial payment currency SDR.It is equal to 41.73% of the dollar. If lost, the payment will be 40 SDR plus 4.5 SDR per kilogram of the parcel. If the value is declared, this amount will be refunded.

Russian Post does not always meet halfway. If you’re hungry for justice, you have two options:

    1. Court. Collect evidence and submit. The process will be long. But who looks at it when it comes to justice.
    2. Roskomnadzor. To complain, you don’t even have to get up from behind a computer – do it on the department’s website.

Sooner or later, the question will arise: are you checkers or go, return money for a parcel or butt with the “Post of Russia”? And no matter who exactly lost the shipment, it did not get to you. This means that you need to go to the seller and act within the framework of the possibilities that this or that site provides.

For example, AliExpress has an excellent dispute system. If you are not a scammer and do not abuse the given right to avoid paying for, administrators will most likely take your side.

Sites like Asos and iHerb often resend purchases if you explain the situation.

Sellers, for their part, can declare the shipment on the wanted list and receive compensation.

The subjective feeling “something does not arrive for a long time” is not enough to be sure of the loss. Look on the website of the online store, in what time they promised to deliver your order.

What can be delivered from Ebay to Russia? Yes, from pins to the latest tablets, smartphones and other technology. Free shipping from Ebay is even possible under certain conditions of purchase. In any case, ordering goods at the popular global online auction becomes even more profitable. The routes of goods to Russia have been worked out to the smallest detail today. A huge number of our compatriots have been regular buyers of the auction for many years. They have a system-wide converted address and shipping on Ebay with a rich history. These regular customers know very well that the cost and timing of receiving goods vary and depend on several parameters. Since the process is not complete without verified and reliable intermediaries, the delivery time from Ebay and the prices depend a lot on them.Buying through an intermediary is a normal, working situation, a guarantee that there will be no disappointments when receiving an order. The failure rate when working through intermediaries is negligible (less than 1%). On average, from the moment the goods arrive at the intermediary’s warehouse, the process of processing and forming a parcel in the Russian Federation takes 1-2 days, except for weekends and holidays. Thanks to perfect intermediary services, Russians buy goods on eBey.ru in a few clicks!

Cost and delivery time from the Internet auction

The final amount of payment for delivery from America with Ebay for customers in Russia consists of the following components:

    • the price of transportation from the store in the USA to the warehouse of the intermediary (the cost is included in the lot)
    • the price of delivery from the USA to the address you specified (as a rule, it is not large due to the formation of a consolidated (groupage) cargo and the distribution of the total cost of shipment between customers)
    • intermediary commission, moderate and not much affecting the final cost
    • customs duty, if the goods fall under the conditions of import into the Russian Federation determined by the Customs Union …

The conditional delivery time for a parcel from the USA is 2-4 weeks (+ 2-3 days). Real terms depend on Russian Post, which can be unpredictable. If force majeure does not happen, then within Russia the parcel goes within 1-3 days, depending on the remoteness of the region. Average delivery time to the warehouse is about 1-3 days. The terms, as the feedback on the delivery from Ebay inform us, may increase due to the following reasons:

    • workload of local post offices or other unforeseen circumstances
    • hits on holidays and non-working days
    • cargo delays at customs.

Methods of delivery of goods from the Internet auction

from Ebay is carried out to any city in the Russian Federation. Most of the parcels go to the intermediary’s warehouse through the US state mail – USPS, then groupage cargo is forwarded to our country according to worked out, multimodal logistics schemes. Domestically, the package is delivered to the address by local postal services. If desired, the client can choose one of three delivery options:

    • Airmail or Priority Mail International) – the most popular and quite budgetary method (term 14-30 days)
    • Express Mail International – express delivery with good speed, guaranteed quality and affordable price (term – 7-14 days).

The Russian Post website swears and says
“A shipment with this number is unregistered – it cannot be tracked.”

It is impossible to find out where the un-tracked Winit parcel is located in Russia, or when it arrives at the Post Office. It is necessary to wait for a paper notice in the mailbox before you can receive the shipment. Because when a parcel arrives on the territory of Russia, it is re-marked and an internal number of the Russian Post is assigned to it, which cannot be recognized anywhere.

    eBay

eBay Inc. is a multinational e-commerce corporation based in San Jose, California that facilitates consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales through its website.

eBay was founded by Pierre Omidyar in 1995 and has become a notable success story amid the dot-com bubble. Today eBay is a multi-billion dollar business with operations in about 30 countries. The company operates eBay.com, an online auction and shopping site where people and businesses buy and sell a wide variety of goods and services around the world.

    History

AuctionWeb (originally eBay) was founded in California on September 3, 1995 by French Iranian-American programmer Pierre Omidyar as part of a larger personal site. One of the first items sold on AuctionWeb was a broken laser pointer for $ 14.83. Surprised, Omidyar contacted the winning bidder to see if he realized the laser pointer had been broken. In his return letter, the buyer explained, “I am a collector of broken laser pointers.”

The company officially changed the name of its website from AuctionWeb to eBay in September 1997. The site was originally owned by Echo Bay Technology Group, Omidyar’s consulting firm. Omidyar tried to register the domain name echobay.com, but it was already taken by Echo Bay Mines, a gold mining company, so he shortened the name to his second best option, eBay.com.

Millions of collectibles, decor, appliances, computers, furniture, hardware, domain names, vehicles and other items are bought and sold daily on eBay.

Generally, anything can be auctioned on the site as long as it is not illegal and does not violate eBay’s Prohibited and Restricted Items policy.

Services and intangible assets can also be sold. Large international companies such as IBM sell their latest products and services on eBay using competitive auctions and specialty showcases. Separate eBay sites such as eBay US and eBay UK allow users to trade using their local currency.

Software developers can create applications that integrate with eBay through the eBay API by joining the eBay Developer Program. In June 2005, the eBay Developer Program had over 15,000 members, including a wide range of companies that create software applications to support eBay buyers and sellers and eBay affiliates.

After you “ve completed payment, you” ll be able to see both the total cost and the amounts paid to the seller and the global shipping provider on the Order details page.

Ebay.com is a paradise for shopaholics and anyone looking for interesting and unusual gifts. The only thing that stops many from ordering on the most famous online platform is delivery. After all, existing in the realities of the Russian Post, each of us has long been accustomed to the fact that you can wait for the goods for a month or a year. Therefore, in today’s article we will try to figure out what types of delivery exist, and what you need to know about each of them.

Of course, absolutely everyone loves free services. Unfortunately, cheap often means poor quality. And if it concerns the delivery of really expensive goods, then it is also dangerous. After all, there are often cases of loss of a parcel, a terrible state, and even, sometimes, theft of content. And, alas, all services sin here, regardless of their status.

Therefore, let’s analyze the possible options for your order.

    Free shipping
    – The most popular way of transporting orders, which means that your parcel falls into the hands of the valiant Russian mail, and is instantly included in the game “Find me”. Suitable for inexpensive goods, for decent sellers and for people who know how to wait. Delivery time is from two weeks to infinity. In fairness, I want to say that after a month and a half, you have the right to ask the seller to resend or return the money.

On ebay, free shipping means that you cannot track the journey of your parcel in any way, relying only on the honesty of the Russian Post employees. Therefore, if, after a delay, you can contact the seller and explain the situation, then in case of loss or substitution, you will have to contact the police and the PayPal payment system (if you paid through it).How to do everything correctly is described in detail.

    Economy shipping
. Either completely free or with a nominal fee. In this way, small packages are most often sent, in which T-shirts, jewelry and bags are comfortably placed. Unfortunately, the package cannot be tracked either.

    USPS Mail International.
Paid shipping from the United States within two to three weeks. With this method, you receive a special code (tracking information) that allows you to track the parcel on a special website.

Shipping cost often depends on the seller and is usually immediately indicated on the Ebay website. For example, some sellers may ship for free using Priority Express (EMS), but add the shipping cost to the item price.

There are several types of service:

    • First Class
      – budget delivery of small and inexpensive goods (delivery time is about 20 days).
    • Priority
is the upper class, suitable for larger and more expensive items. The cost depends on the size and scale of your purchase (delivery 15-25 days).
    • Priority Express
(aka EMS) – most often suitable for large parcels (up to 30 kilograms) with a fixed amount of insurance (delivery 15-25 days).
    • Global Express
      – rather expensive courier delivery to the door. But fast – 3 days.

Usually, the cost is already automatically calculated, and is indicated in the description of any product. However, you can use a special calculator yourself.
on the USPS website.Note that length is in inches and weight is in pounds (1 lb is approximately 0.5 kg).

For example, for a product weighing 1 kg and delivery to Russia, you will need to pay about $ 45-60 (for Global Express express delivery – $ 130).

Also worth mentioning national postal services you may encounter
    :

    • Deutsche Post

      – ordering goods from Germany, cost per 1 kg – about 15 euros.

    • Postes Canada

      – somewhat slow and expensive service of Canada (about $ 25 per 1 kg)

    • Royal Mail

      – Royal Mail of England, delivery cost for 1 kg – from 8 pounds.

    • China Post

      – stable delivery within a month from China (from $ 2 per 100 grams).

    • La Poste

      – French postal service. The cost of services ranges from 20 euros per 1 kg.

Prices depend on the size of the parcel, its significance (value), the amount of insurance chosen, the destination and other expenses (for example, sellers may include a small percentage of themselves in the price).

Afterword. It should be noted that when crossing the Russian border, parcels still go to the disposal of the Russian Post or EMC express delivery. Therefore, unfortunately, one way or another you will not be protected from sudden delays and possible theft.

It should be remembered: sellers always insure their goods, so in any case you have the right to receive compensation for loss and theft. And in this regard, Ebay is the best place to shop online. Choose any shipping method, cross your fingers and toes, and check your inbox more often to await notification.
    Enjoy your shopping!

90,000 When does a business need to think about logistics optimization?

According to the Data Insight study [1], 883 million shipments were delivered in e-commerce alone, which is 35% more than in 2019. The rapid pace of growth in the delivery market has led to increased attention to delivery from the heads of large companies, according to the logistics platform Yandex. Routing ”, the number of logistics automation projects among companies increased by 45% in 2020.

As a rule, most projects are aimed at improving the quality of the “last mile”, which directly affects customer service. For example, in the e-commerce [2] segment, 71% of online shoppers choose an online store for the speed and reliability of delivery. At the same time, 40% will refuse to re-purchase if there were problems with delivery. A similar situation is faced in other industries: shelf space for FMCG manufacturers [3] directly depends on the quality of the “last mile”, and retailers and food delivery companies are introducing new delivery methods in the struggle for the buyer.

In the logistics service Yandex.Routing, we analyzed the main problems that clients from different sectors address to them. Danil Shelekhov, the head of Yandex.Routing, tells about how to recognize problems with the quality of delivery in time and what tools can fix them.

Route planning takes a long time

One of the alarms that something is wrong with delivery is the long process of distributing orders and building routes for couriers and drivers. This not only wastes logistics resources, but also directly affects sales.

Since fast delivery has become one of the main ways to stand out from a similar assortment, it has become important for businesses to expand their operating window: accept orders for delivery until the evening or deliver on the same day. If planning takes a long time, it becomes technically impossible: the business becomes a hostage to logistics, and the planning task becomes a bottleneck.

As a rule, the routes themselves turn out to be impracticable, as a result of which not only the speed, but also the quality of delivery suffers. Drivers start to complain about unfair workloads and businesses don’t know the limits of their productivity. However, the task of planning routes can be solved much faster and more efficiently with the help of automation systems. To do this, companies are implementing algorithms that take into account all internal parameters and external factors.

For example, the Yandex.Routing ”contains the most detailed maps that contain daily updated information about objects and road segments. In order to accurately calculate the expected arrival time of couriers, algorithms analyze more than 500 million tracks per month and calculate a detailed forecast of traffic jams, and a flexible algorithm helps to implement any planning scheme.

Usually, the automation of routing not only reduces the logistics operator’s work time, but also increases the productivity of each courier: often the effect is an increase in the number of orders that one courier can handle per day.

The company does not know what is happening with its product right now

Both B2B and B2C companies face the problem of transparency of delivery. The business does not know what the courier is actually doing right now, and cannot determine the predicted time of arrival of the goods to the client. As a result, a large number of controversial situations arise that arise in complaints from customers in the B2C segment and penalties in B2B.

In the B2B segment, companies often use the services of transport contractors, the number of which can reach several hundred. At the same time, the amount of shelf space in the retail network depends on the quality of the manufacturer’s delivery. The more problems arise with deliveries from one company, the less of its products will end up on the shelves, which will directly affect sales.

To ensure the transparency of the delivery process, Yandex.Routing has developed a monitoring service that continuously monitors the movement of vehicles and couriers in real time. The service takes into account their geolocation, speed and traffic situation on the way, calculating ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). All data is collected in a single window, to which both the company’s logisticians and transport partners and customers have access.

As a result, distribution centers of retail chains know in advance when and in what volume an order will be ready for unloading, so they can reduce losses due to downtime during delivery and balance the number of personnel. In addition, real-time monitoring helps to reduce the number of disputes. The company can now look at the tracking data and determine the real reason for the delay.

In the B2C segment, not everyone is still following the transparency of delivery, so companies from this segment have the opportunity to pleasantly surprise customers with high service. Transparency helps to reduce the load on the call center, since the client can monitor the status of his order in the usual way using notifications on the phone.

Growing volumes require an increase in the number of logistics specialists

The launch of new types of delivery or expansion of the geography of presence will inevitably lead to an increase in the volume of logistics tasks. To cope with them, the business expands its staff of logisticians – money is spent on hiring new employees and time to immerse them in the specifics of the company’s work.

In addition, the qualifications of the personnel cease to grow and they begin to deal only with routine tasks, which, with extensive expansion, will not allow them to cope with the surge in demand. And dependence on the human factor leads to forced downtime and loss of data in the event of his illness or dismissal.

If you work with automatic routing, then even if the number of orders grows, the algorithm will not need more time for them: getting the result will be just as fast.If a company needs to open a new warehouse or region, then using the algorithm settings, this can be done within a couple of days, and route planning can be managed from a single center. For new couriers, having the right automation in the form of a ready-made routing application will be a great help for getting into the workflow quickly.

    Shipping cost optimization required

In pursuit of service, a business makes many promises to potential customers. For example, narrow time slots or couriers with specific qualifications. All these promises, on the one hand, complicate the task of logistics, and on the other, they can significantly affect its cost and even lower margins.

For example, a company wants to offer two-hour delivery intervals, and this requires an increase in the number of available couriers. How many couriers should there be and in what directions should they work?

The answer to these questions will be to simulate these processes using algorithms before putting them into practice.By enumerating the values of different parameters, the system will show the predicted changes that may result from the choice of a particular strategy. So, with the help of modeling, the company can offer not two, but three-hour intervals, then the number of couriers will not have to be increased, and the customer service will improve.

Experts from Yandex.Routing, who have extensive experience in implementing projects in various industries: FMCG manufacturers and retail, e-commerce and courier services, banks and service companies, will help to cope with the selection of a strategy and the implementation of logistics automation. You can learn more about the service, leave a request for a personal consultation or register for testing at the link: https://yandex.ru/routing/.

All reviews of the New Opera Theater – Afisha-Theaters

Four Operetta Kings. Theater New Opera.11/29/2019.

My theatrical education in childhood was not limited to the Operetta Theater, but for some reason all other theaters are remembered with rare flashes, but the operetta … “operetta is a sea of light, you don’t touch the operetta.” Since childhood, she knew most of the music written by the “four kings” – she was completely deprived of a singing voice, but “internally” she could sing anything.
And also a handsome dad, who put his finger on the keys of the “Schroeder” and – “I will go to” Maxim “I”, or “I am a gypsy baron, was in love with a gypsy woman”, or “Friends, I am very, very glad that you came to the masquerade. “..

The new opera brought together in one concert the classic classics: “The Gypsy Baron” by Strauss, “The Merry Widow” by Lehar, “Silva” by Kalman and “Orpheus in Hell” by Offenbach.
The last thing, perhaps, is less known as the operetta itself (I saw only once, and not the most successful production) – but the cancan! What a wonderful cancan there is – and it has already been replicated at all possible concerts.
By the way, at the Novaya Opera, it was sounded in the finale.

I sat in the hall and rejoiced at my acquaintance and loved one, and the whole hall rejoiced with me.
And this despite the fact that we were shown exactly the concert numbers, without bright scenography and dancers.
But – the soloists wore elegant black tailcoats, and the ladies came out in stunningly spectacular dresses.

    Maybe the only thing …
Somehow very seriously, a little on the operatic side, in this theater they reacted to the fun and light genre.
Beautiful music, beautiful voices … But – just very good vocals … but every time it seems to me that the operetta artists seem to push themselves off the ground with a mortal foot, and soar two, three meters.

However, my bewilderment was replaced by delight already in the finale of the first act, when Alexander Bogdanov and Ksenia Nesterenko sang the duet of Camilla and Valentina from The Merry Widow. Who knows what and how there is in the libretto, will understand that these characters, in general, are not paramount … but the audience went out for intermission with burning eyes.

And the second section generally pleased, especially with the numbers of “Orpheus in Hell” – here are great fellows, everyone who sang and played – Alexander Bogdanov and Ksenia Nesterenko (already mentioned them!), And – terribly funny and very easy, one hundred percent operetta – Dmitry Orlov “buzzed” the part of Jupiter, who turned into a bumblebee.

Well, and the final, charming cancan …
Only now – the 21st concert has already been played, and the bows are still not “lined up”: very few performers fit into the rhythm of the final musical number.
Well, maybe a little later, and this will be tightened.
