[Brand Introduction + Review] Méthode SWISS Beauty Care – Hoe.Hoi.Peng

Hello Sunday. Today I want to share some thoughts on the skincare I have been using for months now – Méthode SWISS Beauty Care line.

I got these products from Sasa Malaysia during promotion in March and there are three products in this line. I do not sure the actual normal selling price but the price range is around RM300 – RM400 each. FYI, this beauty line is sold exclusively in Sasa Malaysia.

The promoter recommended this skincare line to me and she said it is great for skin brightening and hydration. Without any doubts I purchased these products as my goal was to get back my actual skin colour after working on site for a year.

Overall these products are great and you can feel the good quality as they are rich. I had high expectation as they are expensive and fortunately they do not dissappointed me.

(A) Thermal White Repair Concentrate (30 ml)

I am very particular in picking serum as serum is the center point of my skin care routine.

According to packaging description, it consists of Swiss thermal water which enhances the deep whitening, and it blends with Detoxyl(R), Ecaline(R), ginseng extract , daisy flower extract and vitamin PP to detoxifying and correct dull and sallow skin into luminous translucent skin. Squalane, plankton and sodium hyaluronate provides critical hydration to reinforce the overall skincare results.

It sounds super fancy, isn’t? Long story short, I love this serum as it is rich yet non-sticky.

It it clear and has slightly thicker consistency than water. The scent is subtle snd not overwhelming. I love to use it at night after toner and before applying sleeping mask or night cream. If you do not know my skincare routine – Normally I like to apply the lightest consistency product and then layer with thicker consistency afterwards. I do not use any eye product at current stage so my night routine has only 4 steps.

Night Skin Care Routine

Cleanse > Toner > Serum > Moisturizer/Sleeping Mask

I give this serum 8.

5/10 and I might purchase again when Sasa has great promotion.

(B) Thermal White Overnight Intensive Repair Mask (100 ml)

I really appreciate the tube design of sleeping mask as it is more hygienic and easy to handle.

But what has surprised me is the content, which is 100 ml for a sleeping mask. I always have a perception that most sleeping masks or night creams have only 50 ml – 80 ml content. This has more so it is worth every penny.

Unlike most Korean sleeping masks, this Europe made product has thicker consistency.

According to product description, the creamy, rich yet penetrating fresh formula consists of Swiss thermal water, exclusive advanced Whitening Detox Complex, RadiaGlow, sodium hyaluronate, red alga and selective vitamins, helping to improve skin evenness, luminosity, moisture level, texture and plumpness. It claims to leave dewy, soft, supple and glowing skin in the morning.

In my opinion, I feel it leaves a thin layer of moisturizing barrier on my face after each apply. I do not use it everyday as I feel it is too rich for my personal preference but I can bare with this 3 – 4 times a week. My skin craves for deep hydration when it hits 25 years old and above as it needs water for sebum balancing and reduce possible wrinkles on my skin.

It deserves a 7.5/10 from me.

(C) Thermal White Repair Cream (50 ml)

This repair cream has richer consistency than sleeping mask and it has infused with one additional ingredient which I love – Alpha-Arbutin. Arbutin is a popular ingredient for skin brigtening and anti-pigmentation. It blends well with Vitamic C, PP, Ecaline(R) and Detoxyl(R) to combat skin discolouration, minimize free radicals and inflammation, as well as inhibits hyper pigmentation reactions from within.

It works well as skin brightening cream but since it is rich, I use it alternatively with sleeping mask. I do not use this cream in the morning and I replace it with 7 skin method to hydrate my skin after serum before applying sunscreen.

There are nights I avoid both creams and sleeping masks as I feel it is too heavy so I opt for 7 skin method or lighter moisturizer such as Nutox Renewing Treatment Cream.

I give it a 7.5/10.

I hope you find my review useful and see you soon.

Methode Swiss Thermal White Overnight Intensive Repair Mask Review

Hello friends!=)
So this week’s review is a skincare product from ‘Methode Swiss’.

Appreciate the pump so much!

You probably haven’t heard of this brand before but ‘Methode Swiss’ is a Switzerland brand. They use the most advanced skin care technology and finest natural ingredients from Switzerland in their products. So I went into Sasa one day and asked the girl who approached me if they have any sleeping mask. I was in need of a moisturising sleeping mask because I was travelling a bit too much. She recommended me this sleeping mask because she said it’s their bestseller. I was actually thinking of getting the Dr. Jart sleeping mask but she said this has more benefits than that. So I said ok give me that and since it is their bestseller so I have pretty high expectations on it.

Claims:

The velvety smooth texture is nourishing but never sticky, quickly absorbed by skin. Sophisticated whitening formula includes natural Switzerland Spring Water, exclusive Advanced Whitening Detox Complex, RadiaGlow, Hyaluronic Acid, Red Algae and Vitamins, delivers numerous nutrients and moisture deep down, brightens and detoxifies skin. From night to day, giving rise to ultimate perfection in terms of radiance, softness and vitality.

Skin type: All skin types

Rate: 7/10

Consistency/texture: thin lightweight white with tiny blue sparkles cream

Smell/scent: floral scent (pleasant)

Feel: lightweight on skin

Application/how to use: At night, after cleansing and toning, simply smooth a generous layer of it all over the face, around eye contour area and neck as well, leave it overnight and rinse off with water the next morning.

How often do you use: every other night

Packaging: nice packaging. Appreciate the pump a lot!

Sizes: one size

Whole product lasted how long: do not rememeber actual amount period of time but definitely more than 3 months.

Would you recommend to others: yes

Personal experience using it: my whole experience while using this mask was okay. It wasn’t anything amazing to be honest. But I must say be careful of what you are using with this mask because I was using a toner before I apply this mask and I got tiny flakes on my skin and I do not know how that happened. It might be the ingredients in both products don’t work well together. So just take note when you are using this mask. It is very moisturising and comfortable on the skin. I don’t get any breakouts or what not. But I think the price is a bit too high.

Would you repurchase: maybe

Product value/price: RM190

Where I bought mine: Sasa Malaysia
