JUMBO Launches Chilli Crab Lunch Set At $29/Pax, Served Without Shell So Your Fingers Stay Clean
JUMBO Launches Chilli Crab Lunch, No Need For A Big Group To Enjoy Sweet-Sour Goodness
Singaporeans who have tried chilli crab know that a sizeable group is needed to finish the dish. JUMBO Seafood may fix this hassle by offering a chilli crab set lunch from 9 Nov.
Perhaps the best part is that they’ll serve the crab meat out-of-shell, so there’s no need to get your fingers covered in gravy.

The decadent 4-course meal is priced at $29/pax and comes with a variety of other dishes.
Chilli crab dish is ‘fuss-free’
In a press release, JUMBO says their award-winning chilli crab will be served with sliced fried man tou.
This sounds perfect for those who love to mop up the eggy sweet-sour sauce with it.

The restaurant chain also says patrons will have a “fuss-free” experience as lavish chunks of crab meat will already be served in their signature sauce.
Those who hate getting their fingers covered with chilli gravy will heave a sigh of relief.
Set lunch comes in 4 courses
On top of chilli crab, the set lunch will also come with 2 appetisers, 1 seafood/meat dish and 1 rice/noodle dish, to make 4 courses in total.
Diners can choose from a diverse menu that includes golden salted egg fish skin, mocha pork ribs and sambal fried rice with crab meat (in case you haven’t had enough of that).

The set meal costs at $29++ per person (for a minimum of 2 diners) and will be available from 9 Nov- to 31 Dec at all JUMBO Seafood outlets except their East Coast branch.
Those who’re already drooling at the thought of eating this can make reservations via this link.
Chilli crab goodness made more affordable
Chilli crab is often seen as a dish for special occasions like birthdays and family reunions.
Part of why it’s so enjoyable may come from the satisfaction of getting crab meat out of the shell.
However, if it’s just too troublesome to get your fingers dirty during lunchtime, perhaps this hassle-free chilli crab set meal is for you.

Life can be simple: Singapore Chilli Crab
If you are in Singapore or if you are from Singapore, what seafood dish do you like? I have a few personal favourites. Of which, this is also one of my family’s favourite especially mummy’s. Each time we have a family celebration, this dish never fail to make it to our dinner table whether we are at home or dining outside.
In case you are wondering what dish it is, it’s the Singapore Chilli Crab. You may wonder why is it called the Singapore chilli crab when there’s chilli crab sold even in Malaysia. This dish was created in 1950s by Madam Cher of Roland restaurant. Madam Cher would usually steam crabs and eat them plain like how the Teochews would generally eat it. However, upon her husband’s request, she decided to cook crabs a different way by stir frying it with tomato sauce with some chilli sauce. And hence, chilli crabs were invented in Singapore.
I remember when I was younger, my parents used to bring us to Jumbo seafood to eat chilli crabs and each time we were there, we were all so excited about it. Back then, there was no deep fried mantous and just plain white rice to pour the chilli crab gravy all over. It was simply shiok!!
Now, we never go back to Jumbo seafood anymore but instead, we replicate this at home.
I’ve researched several recipes but it’s pretty hard to find one that uses only Maggi ketchup sauce and chilli sauce like how Madam Cher does. Finally, I found one that was from here which was the Singapore chilli crab recipe demonstrated by Chef Eric Teo.
The recipe is as follows:
2 kg live Sri Lanka crabs
3 tbsp cooking oil
500ml chicken stock
4 tbsp Maggi chilli sauce
300ml Maggi ketchup sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 eggs (lightly beaten)
2 stalks coriander leaves
30g fresh ginger
20g chilli padi
10 pcs candlenuts / buah keras
40g fresh galangal
250ml cooking oil
2 tbsp corn starch
3 tbsp water
(mix both corn starch and water well together)
- Blend all the ingredients from the chilli paste with 250ml cooking oil in a blender then set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat and stir fry the chilli paste until fragrant for about 5 minutes.
- Add chicken stock, chilli sauce, ketchup suace, sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Add the crabs and simmer uncovered, tossing the crabs in the gravy several times, until cooked in about 10 minutes.
- Add the corn starch mixture to the sauce and stir until it thickens.
- Add the beaten egg mixture and stir gently until soft.
- Transfer the chilli crab and gravy onto a wide dish and garnish with coriander leaves.
- You may serve with deep fried mantous or plain white rice or even sliced french loaf.
See my Singapore chilli crab version below. Guess what? The family really love it and say that the gravy is really very addictive. As for me, I love the sweet and sourish taste from the ketchup together with the tinge of spicyness in it. Yes, I definitely love this classic. What about you?

Afternoon tea at JUMBO Seafood in town
The afternoon tea set at JUMBO Seafood ION Orchard has got to be one of the cheapest in town at $48++ for two, with a good city view to boot. If you’re going dutch, it is only $24++ per person for a multi-course afternoon tea experience that is more than just a social affair with friends. The comparatively affordable price can also be a remedy for hunger pangs while shopping in town.
Food at JUMBO Seafood
The two-tier affair, involving three savoury and three sweet treats in total, is also served with two baskets of dim sum, a dessert, and a pot of tea.
We started with the savoury tier which features Lotus Root Puffs and Sweet Yam Paste with Salted Egg Yolk Puffs in the shape of elegant swans. I was confused as the fried yam puffs tethered more to the sweet side. Sinking in my teeth into the filling, I got hints of saltiness from the egg yolk centre, but they were soon overwhelmed by the toothsome yam paste.
Their Pan-fried JUMBO Chilli Crab Buns, on the other hand, got me wishing I was at a dim sum buffet instead. It was slightly crispy on the outside, and the centre was gooey with JUMBO’s emblematic chilli crab sauce with real crab meat in the mix. One was definitely not enough.
Other savoury items include a pair of dim sum each. You can expect to try their JUMBO ‘Siew Mai’ and Steamed Prawns and Spinach Dumplings, which was my favourite out of the two thanks to its chewy crystal-skin and crunchy, plump prawn filling.
Perched on the bottom tier are also sweet treats starring Black Sesame Cakes, Molten Salted Egg Lava Mochi, and Baked Orange Egg Tarts.
Interestingly, amongst the three, what looked the least enticing actually turned out to be the most delicious. The Black Sesame Cake was like a mochi—dreamingly soft and chewy to bite. Its flavour was also full-on, with every chew perfumed with the aroma of black sesame.
Just like their chilli crab, JUMBO has really seemed to nail their mochi! The soft texture of their Molten Salted Egg Lava Mochi paired well with the sweet-salty filling. Despite us leaving them untouched as we took pictures and enjoyed the savoury items first, the salted egg lava stayed as flowy as liquid gold.
This value-for-money afternoon tea also includes a baseline of blooming flower tea, with a choice of Oriental Beauty with Wolfberries or Springtime Blossoms presented to us as we took our seats. Your beautiful pot of tea will be placed atop a tea candle, keeping it warm throughout the meal.
To our surprise, there was also a last course of desserts. Though nothing much to shout about, the Mini Chilled Lime Jelly with Mixed Fruits was like an elevated ai yu jelly dessert, with tart flavours, fresh fruits, and shaved ice to end the afternoon tea on a refreshing note.
Ambience at JUMBO Seafood
JUMBO Seafood at ION Orchard might not offer the fanciest atmosphere, but their service staff were stellar and quick with our requests. The view of our city’s busiest road and bustling shopping district also makes up for the lack of any lavish ambience.
I must say that with a price tag of $48++ for two, JUMBO Seafood’s afternoon tea gives you a bang for your buck. The spread here might be more on the sweet side, making it an ideal option for a casual snack-time-cum-catch-up sesh with a friend, or three—since you’d have to come in pairs.
If you’re looking for more food spots in Orchard, check out Tempura Tendon Tenya, a newly-opened tendon eatery that is famous in Japan, or Luke’s Lobster, the renowned lobster joint which now has a branch at Isetan Scotts.

Jumbo Seafood at Dempsey Review and Photos – Singapore, Singapore
Besides kaya toast, another one of Singapore’s signature dishes is their chilli crab. I don’t know why it’s popular or where it comes from, but I’ll take any excuse to eat crab. My friend’s a local and she recommended Jumbo Seafood so I’m assuming they know what they’re doing. They’ve got a few locations around town and I ended up at the Dempsey one. In the back of the restaurant they’ve got tanks of live seafood lined up, though we didn’t get to select our crab or anything like that. Which is too bad, because the only thing I like more than eating crab is looking it in the eye while selecting it for death and laughing maniacally at its pleas for mercy. Don’t judge me. That’s what the “doctors” at the institution did and look where that got them (Hint: buried in my backyard).
Super garlicky which means super good. Plus they’ve been split, so eating it just requires a little simple finagling, as opposed to the usual 45 minutes of struggle it takes for me to peel a shrimp. Yeah, I said 45 minutes. My fingers are basically non-functioning sausages.

Jumbo Chilli Crab
Honestly, I don’t know what all the fuss is about. The crab itself wasn’t the freshest I’ve ever had, and the sauce didn’t leave me amazed. It’s more of a tomato sauce than a Western chilli, and was actually a bit bland to me. The best way I can describe the whole dish is “meh.” Yeah, get it if you’re in Singapore because that’s the thing you’re supposed to do, but don’t expect to have your mind blown.
I think I preferred the pepper crab to the chilli crab. It tasted pretty strong of pepper, giving it a good bite. Overall, the flavors were sharper and harsher and I mean that in a good way. Because I like my food the way I like…my…knives?

In the country of wealth
Singapore is a melting pot of different cultures that can be seen in the cityscape, lifestyle and above all cuisine. Many restaurants are as unique as they are of quality.
Danny Lee wears rubber boots and a faded red apron. He looks like a gardener, but this impression is deceiving. Danny Lee is one of Singapore’s elite chefs; every taxi driver knows his restaurant in Geylang, an area of the city with a Malaysian character, lined with small buildings and food stalls with neon lights. His cafe consists of a dozen tables with plastic chairs; From the looks of it, Sin Huat Eating House looks the same as any other eatery in the area.
However, its fish cuisine is very special. Whole grouper smells great of garlic, small scallops are scattered among the fermented black beans, and wok-fried prawns are served in an ocean of black pepper. The bestseller is Crab Bee Hoon, a giant crab with lots of meat topping a bed of rice noodles with green onions, ginger and chili. Eating this is a real battle.
The one who survives lives happily as a winner and leaves behind a table that looks like a battlefield.A crab dish costs between 30 and 50 euros for two, not cheap for a dish in a street cafe. Nonetheless, Danny’s crab is the best in this city, craving crabs and Epicureans queuing up for his restaurant.
Singapore is considered a wealthy country, whether you eat on the street or make a reservations at a gourmet restaurant. The number of the latter has grown significantly.
Only two new casino resorts, Marina Bay Sands and Resort World Sentosa, in total have opened almost 90 food outlets, including many from world famous chefs such as Joel Robuchon, Guy Savoy, Santi Santamaria, Wolfgang Puck and Justin Kweck gave their names.
Basically, you can spend a few days in one of the amazing five-star hotels, try different culinary masterpieces and at the same time play baccarat. However, this is a poor choice because the city offers a wide variety of exotic experiences.
Everyone who enters the Tekka market in Little India will experience the full culinary range of the subcontinent. There are fresh mangoes, Indian spices and crabs from Sri Lanka, and stalls where spicy curry with freshly baked roti is served on a banana leaf.
The covered market was renovated several years ago and has air conditioning. The hygiene level was already second to none before it was common throughout Singapore. You can go shopping near this place even at two in the morning. The multi-story Mustafa Center is open 24/7 and sells cameras, pots and suitcases in addition to a huge selection of Asian food items.
Singapore is home to Chinese, Indians and Malays, all bringing their own food with them, but ambitious young chefs also combine traditional food with modern cooking methods and techniques.Benjamin Seck is one of the stars of the new generation. He cooks in a beautiful historic home shop and refreshes his mom and grandmother’s spicy Peranakan recipes.
The Peranakans are a tradition-rich Singaporean community. They arrived almost 200 years ago from Malaysia – they are the descendants of Chinese migrant workers who married local women in the 15th century. True Blue serves deep-fried strips of eggplant with fresh chili paste and sweet soy sauce, the classic Ayam Buah Keluak, fried chicken pieces with lemongrass, galangal and turmeric in a creamy black nut sauce.
Willin Luo also claims that his food is rooted in the Fujian cuisine of his ancestors. Laxa pesto linguini with king prawns is one of the dishes on the Wild Rocket menu. The dish looks like Italian pesto, but the taste is completely different. It is based on laksa leaves, which are reminiscent of mint, pepper and coriander, and are used in the national laksa soup. Crispy fried tofu cubes, a delicacy that reigns on the throne of the yolk of “100-year-old duck eggs,” and a leg of veal, which is cooked like an Indonesian rendang, are delicious too.
And nearby there is a place where you can have a drink before bed on a warm evening. The cozy Wild Oats bar belongs to the restaurant. Tables and chairs are set between plants and art in the courtyard of a beautiful colonial villa. The “Singapore sling” served here is considered one of the best cocktails in town.

90,000 Chile: Unknown Latin America – All Salt
This is only possible in Chile. We went to the market and found ourselves in the company of eared seals.
That is, of course, there are people in the Angelmo market too: at the first level of the market, people sell the most outlandish fish and seafood that I have ever seen in my life, including the giant loco clam. On the second floor, all this abundance, just brought by the fishermen to the market, is fried, boiled and steamed, and beckoned to taste it. And when, having tasted sea urchins, crabs and Chilean fish soup, we went to photograph the fishermen, then an amazing picture appeared in front of us: at least a dozen sea lions (Chileans call them sea wolves), splashing near the coast and fighting with seagulls for fish thrown at them by merchants.
Sea lions and seagulls fight over fish near Angelmo Market in Puerto Montt
All this took place in the city of Puerto Montt, in the south of Chile, in a city that is considered the gateway to Patagonia and the capital of the Lake District (I write the latter with a capital letter, because this is not a value judgment, but the official name of the province, Region de Lagos).
Puerto Octay, a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, has retained all the features of the old settlement of German colonists
Chile is the last of the major Latin American countries I have not visited in forty years since my first trip to the Western Hemisphere, Cuba, in 1977.We lived in some of these countries for several years, in others we came for several weeks, and they are all good in their own way and I really like everything: people, landscapes, traditions, cuisine … But, perhaps, Chile is the most amazing of all Latin American countries are perhaps the brightest and most unexpected.
This journey has not yet ended, but we have already managed to visit Santiago, where we started by climbing to the top of the highest skyscraper in Latin America and saw under our feet a city of 7 million, surrounded on all sides by mountains.
This traditional Chilean dish is called palta cardenal: avocado stuffed with crab meat
Visited the house of Pablo Neruda Isla Negra (“Black Island”). One of the most original poets of the twentieth century called his home an island, and in a sense it remains so. The house is located on the outskirts, on the steep coast of the Pacific Ocean, which is not at all quiet here. Huge gray shafts crash against boulders with a crash, and the smallest spray scatters hundreds of meters, and on the lips the salty taste of sea and algae.
Isla Negra, the most beloved of the houses of Pablo Neruda
In the same place in Isla Negra we tasted the famous conger eel soup, caldillo de congrio, according to the recipe of Neruda, who dedicated a whole ode to his favorite dish.
Valparaiso, Chile’s most colorful city
An hour’s drive from Isla Negra is the most original and picturesque town in Chile, scattered on 45 hills around the extraordinary beauty of the bay. The Spaniards who founded Valparaiso called it “the pearl of the Pacific” – not only because of the incomparable beauty of the bay, but also in the literal sense: treasures obtained in other Spanish colonies, including pearls, gold and silver, were sent to Spain in two ways : across the Isthmus of Panama and further across the Atlantic or in a roundabout way bypassing South America. And on this second route, the port of Valparaiso was an obligatory intermediate point.
Valparaiso is not the most comfortable city to live in. Try climbing up and down at a 45 degree angle every day! Valparaiso car owners are the most dashing drivers in the world; the brake pads have to be changed at least every three months. But none of the residents of Valparaiso will agree to move to the capital or even to the neighboring resort town of Viña del Mar.
With real Moai in Viña del Mar
Only eight kilometers separate these two cities, but they are just as different from each other as Moscow and St. Petersburg (and their residents have the same warm feelings for each other that Muscovites are for St. Petersburg residents).Viña has the highest standard of living (and prices) in Chile. Wealthy pensioners come here to spend their last years to die with a sea view. Personally, I am grateful to Vigne del Mar for the unexpected meeting with Moai. As you know, these stone idols adorn Easter Island. As you know, Easter Island belongs to Chile. Neither time nor budget allowed us to fly on Easter, but I was still able to see the real Moai: the only giant from Easter Island (original, not a copy), stands at the entrance to one of the museums of Vigny del Mar.
The city of Puerto Varas stands on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, surrounded by seven volcanoes
What about the Lake District in Patagonia? From the observation deck of the German Colonial Museum on the shores of Lake Llanquihue – this is Chilean Baikal – on a fine day you can see seven volcanoes at the same time, which frame a lake of diamond-blue water with their white gold peaks. We were not too lazy to go around the lake in a circle, admiring the landscapes, German churches (the Germans colonized this region in the 19th century after the Spaniards had previously expelled the Mapuche Indians from there) and emerald meadows where sheep and cows graze.Ireland? Germany? Anything but Latin America, which we have traveled from Mexico to Argentina and from Uruguay to Panama.
Patagonia’s Lake District looks more like Ireland or Germany
Tourist impressions of the trip are far from limited, but in this first report from Chile I would like to mention the equally strong impressions of getting to know what is the basis of Chilean agriculture. Did you know that with the onset of sanctions 90% of frozen salmon sold in Russia is grown in Chile? We visited a state-of-the-art salmon cutting and smoking factory and saw how fish are packed in boxes for export to Russia.I can now see and taste distinguish between Atlantic salmon and Pacific salmon, and both of them from trout, all thanks to the lessons learned at the Multiexport factory in Puerto Montt.
This is not a nuclear power plant: such sanitary protection measures are taken at the factory of Multiexport, which supplies salmon to Russia
In the same place, in the vicinity of Puerto Montt, the Chilean company Orizon grows mussels in the open sea. I was especially curious to look at the whole process – from “sowing” juveniles to cutting shells at the plant (as the director of the plant Gonzalo Fernandez Barahona aptly put it, “in our business the principle is clearly observed: what you sow, so you reap”), because for a few weeks before my trip to Chile, I was in Spanish Galicia, where shellfish are also grown. Each case has its own essential features and differences.
Cows graze in the meadows, and I’m looking for edible seaweed at low tide on the Pacific Ocean in Patagonia
Gonzalo Fernandez also taught me how to distinguish edible seaweed from inedible. Of all the tastings in which I participated, this was the most unusual: we walked on pebbles at low tide and collected bright green algae from boulders, some of which were immediately sent to our mouths.
As you sow, so will you reap: juveniles of mussels on ropes are lowered into the sea so that they work up the weight
By the way, about the tastings. On our first day in Santiago, we visited the ChileOliva Association, which brings together Chilean olive oil producers. Despite the fact that it is sold in Moscow, few associate the distant South American country with a product traditionally considered Mediterranean. However, the quality of Chilean olive oil is, on average, significantly higher than in Italy and Spain, as I was able to verify.
Gastronomy students of the University of Santo Tomás prepare curanto, a traditional Patagonian dish that is simmered for hours on hot rocks underground
And, of course, one of the brightest impressions is a visit to Chilean wineries. We were, in particular, at the famous De Martino winery, thanks to which the world got to know the taste of Chilean carmenera. And if you single out any one taste that will remain in the grateful memory after this fantastic trip, then it will probably be exactly the taste of Carmenera: as powerful, bright and original as Chile itself.
Winery De Martino opened the Chilean carmenere to the world
Such an intensive program would not have been possible without the participation of a whole team of friends, enthusiasts and specialists in Moscow, Santiago and Puerto Montta in its design and planning. The blog format does not allow us to list everyone who helped us see, feel and taste the taste of Chile, but I cannot but mention Svetlana Tarkhova and Jose Campusano (ProChile, Moscow), Pablo Barahona (Chilean Embassy) and Roxana Monsalve (ProChile, Puerto Montt ).
If you think that this is my account of a trip to the ends of the world, you are terribly mistaken. This is just a saying, but a fairy tale is ahead: in January, when during the holidays it will be possible to calmly talk about the Chilean summer in the Moscow winter.

90,000 CRAB VS LOBSTER – DIFFERENCE AND COMPARISON – EDUCATION
American lobster, Homarus americanus
Lobster species including American lobster, which is common, and Audresselles, royal blue lobster, which is relatively rare.
King crabs are the most popular variety of crab .Soft-shelled crabs also have a loyal following. Other crabs commonly found on the menu include snow crab, golden king crab, red and blue king crab.
Crab versus lobster flavor
Crab flavor ranges from sweet-sweet to salty depending on the flavor. At Merus , part of the crab legs is considered the most delicious.
Lobster is slightly harder than crabs and not as sweet. Small legs and claws contain maximum meat and are tasty and tender.
Many delectable recipes use crabs that can be eaten whole or just with claws or feet, etc. In Asia, spices are generously added to enhance the culinary experience of crabs. Popular Asian crab recipes include chili crab and masala crab. In many countries, crab meat is mined and then cooked. The crab is an integral part of the French dish. Bisk . Soft-shelled crayfish are eaten whole with their shells, and the crab meat is removed and placed inside its shell in a British dish called Cromer Crab.Mixing crabmeat with flour to make crab pie is popular in parts of the eastern United States.
Lobsters are used in soups, lobster rolls and biscuits. In many recipes, lobster is dipped in ghee to give it a sweet taste. Lobsters are steamed or boiled alive before baking, grilling, or roasting. Popular recipes include Lobster Thermidor and Lobster Newburgh.
Crab and lobster fishing is a commercially important business that meets the ever-growing demand for crabs and lobsters from the food industry worldwide.
Crab prices vary depending on the type and size of the crab. A small crab can cost around $ 3, while a huge strawberry crab can cost between $ 20 and $ 30.
Lobsters are more expensive and are considered a luxury meal. Even if 90,073 lobster prices are 90,075 over the past year or so, a pound of lobster can cost anywhere from $ 10 to $ 6, meaning a 5-pound lobster can cost a whopping $ 50.
Differences in anatomy
Crabs have a thick exoskeleton and one pair of claws or brows.Males have larger claws, and sometimes one is larger than the other, and is mainly used to attract a mate. Male crabs have narrow and triangular abdomens compared to females, which have a rounder abdomen. Thus, crabs show distinct sexual dimorphism. Crabs walk sideways due to the articulation of their legs. There are crabs that walk back and forth, but the side walk is most effective.
Lobsters have a strong but lightweight exoskeleton and striated muscles for fast movement.Their articulated limbs allow for flexion at various points. They molt during their life cycle to grow and have ten walking legs, of which the front two are transformed into giant claws. They have very poor eyesight and no nervous system. They walk slowly on the seabed, but can swim backward by flexing and extending their abdomen. They are very fast in this form of movement, which is used as an escape mechanism (caridoid flight response).
Social behavior patterns of crabs versus lobsters
Crabs exhibit a complex pattern of social behavior .Using claws, they communicate with each other. They show aggression and usually males fight with each other for access to females. They even fight among themselves for shelter of pits and caves. They work together to provide food and protection for their family. During the mating season, they find convenient places where females can release eggs.
Solitary Lobsters and are usually found singly in burrows and under rocks. They do have a rather unique feature: lobsters don’t die due to aging .With age, they become stronger and more fertile due to the presence of the enzyme telomerase (which repairs DNA sequences). Thus, lobsters continue to live until they are caught, injured, or affected by disease.
Differences in eating habits
Crabs are omnivorous and feed on algae, shellfish, fungi, bacteria, other crustaceans, etc. Their ideal diet consists of a mixture of plants and animals.
Lobsters are also omnivores and feed on fish, worms and plants. They do indeed resort to cannibalism in captivity. During molting, they eat loose skin.
Crabs are found in freshwater and marine waters around the world. However, they prefer tropical and semi-tropical areas. They live in water and on land and can range in size from a few millimeters, like a pea crab, to several meters, like a Japanese spider crab (legs span 4 m). Lobsters live on the muddy and sandy bottom of the seas and oceans. The largest lobster caught (Nova Scotia, Canada) weighed 20.15 kg.

In the next moment Lu Qingjiu put down his chopsticks, shaking. He just knew that if Yin Xun was made of water, then why did Bai Yuehu become interested in him? Now he finally realized that it was not water at all, but meat, and that the meat was good was actually a little true.vGcqWu
“This… where did you get this lingzhi meat mushroom?” Lu Qingjiu asked feebly, “can he become human?” He felt like he had eaten his useless best friend.
– What? – The Rainmaster did not quite understand Lu Qingjiu’s reaction. “Maybe you have a friend made from Lingzhi mushroom meat?”
Read more BL at chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com
“Yes. Lu Qingjiu nodded.
“Oh, don’t worry about it,” the Rain Master said casually, “Lingzhi mushroom meat is just a type of food, but because it has special properties, it can be used to recreate the body.So if I’m not mistaken, that friend of yours has already died once, right? ”A eqK2
That was true, from what Yin Xun said when he fell into a puddle that year, he died. It was that strange man who gave him a second chance at life. It seemed that the man had used Lingzhi meat mushrooms to recreate Yin Xun’s body in order to allow Yin Xun to live again.
After pondering all this, only then was Lu Qingjiu able to relax.
After they finished all the food in front of them, Bai Yuehu stood up and said goodbye. The Rainmaster didn’t try to make them stay, he just sent them both away with a glance.
Bai Yuehu led Lu Qingjiu out of the rain master world through the rain. Back in reality, he brought Lu Qingjiu home. AVWTR5
“Yin Xun, we’re back,” Lu Qingjiu shouted from the courtyard door. They had been away all day and he didn’t know if Yin Xun was following the meat in the pan correctly.
Hearing his voice, Yin Xun impatiently ran out of the house: “Are you back?”
Lu Qingjiu said, “did you turn off the fire?”
“It’s over, it’s over,” Yin Xun said.“I even tasted some meat, it really tastes good.” KMpyBI
Lu Qingjiu smiled and said, “Then we can eat beef stew tonight.”
After all, poor Bai Yuehu had to swallow a mouthful of mud, Lu Qingjiu wanted to give his family’s fox spirit a celebration for his efforts.
Zhu Miaomiao chose next day delivery, so Lu Qingjiu went to town the next day to pick up his package. The package contained furry crabs tied with a rope, both males and females.Only by their size could one judge that they were definitely plump and curvy.
Wu Yin Xun has never had crabs. He looked around with wide eyes and asked if these crabs really tasted good, they looked completely made of bone. phudk
“Of course they are delicious,” Lu Qingjiu smiled and said, “Let’s have some crabs for lunch today. I’ll steam half of it and use the rest to make chili crabs. ”
– Yes, yes, yes.- Yin Xun was very happy.

Bai Yuehu didn’t seem to be very interested in crabs, so he didn’t react in any way.

While Lu Qingjiu was cooking the crabs, he casually called Zhu Miaomiao to thank her for the gift.
On the phone, Zhu Miaomiao chuckled. She said that if he wants to eat crabs, he should just say so, and she can bring him two more Gins. Lu Qingjiu did not insist on formalities, saying with a smile that everything was in order.

Crabs turned golden yellow in the pan. Lu Qingjiu then chose a seasoning used specifically for crabs. He added chives to the seasoning, sautéed them in a little hot oil, and then added the vinegar commonly used when eating crabs. Thus, the seasoning will be especially tasty and just perfect for the crab.
Not to mention the chili crab, even before the pot lid was removed, it gave off a strong aroma, enticing Yin Xun to keep looking away.twebXV
When Lu Qingjiu went to town to pick up his package, he also went on ships to buy some local Huangju. The crabs were getting cold, so too much food is bad for the stomach. Ginger tea and huangju were the best drinks paired with crabs. They were not very fond of ginger tea, so Lu Qingjiu brought huangju home.
Lu Qingjiu made Yin Xun set the table. They were going to eat crabs while admiring the moon.
Yin Xun could no longer wait. He obediently set up the chairs and table. Then all three sat down. Gyw0sz
The September crabs were already very fatty. Pulling on the shell, one could see the abundant crab eggs and watch oily juices flow down the shell. Lu Qingjiu clenched his fingers while teaching Yin Xun to peel the crabs. Crab caviar could be dipped in sauce and eaten immediately, while crab meat could be peeled piece by piece with tongs and placed in an empty sink. When a lot accumulated, you could eat everything in one bite.
When he ate delicious crab caviar and crab meat, and drank a mouthful of warmed huangju, inhaling the light aroma of osmanthus in the breeze, Lu Qingjiu once again felt grateful for his choice.
Fortunately, he returned, returned to this village under the name Shuifu.
Bai Yuehu just stared at the crab without moving. His brows were furrowed slightly, as if he were considering eating it along with the shell. Lu Qingjiu, whose heart was still aching from having to eat that mouthful of mud, simply helped Bai Yuehu deal with the crab by dipping crab caviar and crab meat into the sauce and sending it straight into Bai Yuehu’s mouth. TxQIsj
“Eat,” Lu Qingjiu said, smiling.
Bai Yuehu moved over, swallowing everything in one go. His wrinkled brows instantly smoothed out. He opened his mouth slightly and said, “
” Isn’t that right? “Lu Qingjiu said,” You will eat the chili crab first, and I will continue to peel the crab for you. ”
Bai Yuehu nodded. syx013
If someone said that steamed crab gives you the fresh flavor of the crab itself, the chili crab would taste a little heavier. The crab meat has taken on a spicy flavor inside, changing its aroma from light and fresh to spicy and aromatic.Bai Yuehu grabbed one and began to eat a little awkwardly. He, too, seems to have noticed that bones affect the taste of the crab. Even if he could eat them, he would still obediently spit them out.
Yin Xun quickly mastered the trick of eating crabs. He ate quickly, but he did not have the same appetite as Bai Yuehu. After six or seven crabs, he was almost full, but still clearly not full. He stared wide-eyed at Lu Qingjiu and said, “I’m still hungry.”
“Then eat, isn’t there a lot of food here yet?” Lu Qingjiu cooked all the crabs that Zhu Miaomiao sent.
“But I can’t eat anymore,” Yin Xun said. “These crabs obviously have no meat, so why are they so hearty?” SeAVE2
Lu Qingjiu smiled. “If you like it, I will ask my friend to send more. Don’t eat yourself sick, it doesn’t look like you are Bai Yuehu. ”
An average person would be full after five or six crabs, but for Bai Yuehu, five or six crabs weren’t even enough to fill the gaps between his teeth. However, he did not force Lu Qingjiu to continue peeling them for him, but expressed the opinion that Lu Qingjiu should eat them himself.Previously, Bai Yuehu did not want to do anything out of laziness. When he really got into action, he could peel crabs extremely cleanly. He had a lot of strength, so that he was even able to clamp the claws between his fingers and directly break them, thus pulling out the meat.
Please visit chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com
Lu Qingjiu also did not forget to give some to his little Fox and little black pigs. The little chanterelle didn’t need her crabs to be peeled, a few crunches with sharp teeth are enough to crush the shell into pieces. He swallowed the meat along with the bones, indeed a bit like the lazy Bai Yuehu.
Autumn was the time for gazing at the moon. The weather was neither too hot nor too cold. A crescent moon hung high in the sky. A few more days, and the Mid-Autumn Festival will come, it’s time to eat moon cakes. 1bdJt8
Mooncakes could be bought in the city, but in the end Lu Qingjiu decided to make them himself, which he had not done before. He planned to make moon cakes from lotus egg yolk as well as meat cakes. There was still no small stove in his house, so he was going to go to town to buy one the next day, visiting the hospital to check on Pang Ziqi.
After eating his fill, Yin Xun went home, leaving only him and Bai Yuehu.
Bai Yuehu’s head was lowered as he slowly removed the crab meat, his long, slender fingers were incomparably agile, removing the white crab meat little by little until he reached the base of the shell.
After cleaning everything, he looked at Lu Qingjiu, who was sitting next to him with a faint smile on his face, raised his hand and brought the crab meat to Lu Qingjiu’s mouth.KJM8er
Seeing this, Lu Qingjiu was momentarily dumbfounded. “Don’t…” he was full.
But Bai Yuehu did not move. He raised his hand slightly to indicate that Lu Qingjiu should eat.
Lu Qingjiu could not help smiling. In the end, he accepted Bai Yuehu’s good intentions, but when he moved to take the crab in his mouth, he suddenly thought of something, turning his head towards Bai Yuehu. If he was not mistaken, this was the first time Bai Yuehu shared food with him. Lu Qingjiu knew that it was when wild animals were eating that they were most alert. We add that Bai Yuehu was by nature the protector of his food, since it was food in his bowl, he could not give it to others. This time, Bai Yuehu’s actions were too natural, and Lu Qingjiu hardly noticed how different they were from ordinary ones.
Lu Qingjiu took a bite of a crab. Probably because it was a crab that was personally peeled by Bai Yuehu, it tasted especially good. Lu Qingjiu laughed. xbsPD5
Bai Yuehu asked, “What are you laughing at?”
Lu Qingjiu said, “I just laughed because I never thought that the day would come when I, this animal keeper, would achieve my goal.”
Bai Yuehu raised his eyebrows” “Did it work?”
Lu Qingjiu just smiled without answering. GHE58C
Bai Yuehu did not understand the meaning of Lu Qingjiu’s smile. He did not notice any deviations in his actions, did not feel that there was anything wrong with sharing food with Lu Qingjiu.
– Let’s go to sleep. – After finishing the last crab, Lu Qingjiu was a little tired. It was now deep night, and the wind had cooled a little.
“Okay, you go first,” Bai Yuehu said. – I’ll clear the table.“
Lu Qingjiu nodded. He got up, stretched, then went into the house, washed and went to bed. When he lay down on the bed, through the window he saw Bai Yuehu in the courtyard, bowing his head, putting away the plates and chopsticks. He could not help but think about what Pang Zyki told him: “Wild beasts are wild beasts, even if they disguise themselves as humans, as soon as they get excited, they will show their ferocity.” Well, so what? Even rabbits bite when cornered. In addition, Bai Yuehu was not some beast without any self-awareness, he knew who he was, he knew what he was doing. You could even say that to some extent, his composure was even stronger than that of many people. Gwygal
As Lu Qingjiu thought, he yawned. A violent wave of sleepiness washed over him. He closed his eyes. In less than a moment, he plunged into the sweet world of dreams.
The next morning the weather was clear and refreshing, with a clear sky as far as the eye could see.

After making breakfast, Lu Qingjiu planned to go to the city’s central hospital to visit Pan Ziqi.
Like a bear cub, Yin Xun cried and made a fuss because he wanted to go with Lu Qingjiu, so out of helplessness, Lu Qingjiu could only agree. jEPRy1
So both people got into the pickup and drove towards the city. A few hours later, they reached the central hospital. As they approached the room, even before they entered, they heard Pang Ziqi roar in rage again: “I’m almost dying, can you stop haunting me? Please act like a real person— ”
Lu Qingjiu — he seems to be very energetic.
Yin Xun nodded. “He’s much better than he was a few days ago.…”
