Guide for Hannah Montana The Movie
Follow the steps below to 100% the achievements in the game:
1. Play through the tutorial and refer to the General Hints and Tips page if you forget what to do for each of the activities: The Drums, The Guitar, Singing, Keyboard, Dancing, Hand Motions.
2. Start the start story mode. The first thing you will notice is the game puts you right in the middle of one of Hannah Montana’s concerts. This is where you will use everything you learned during the tutorial. Grab the Professional achievement on the first song by doing well enough to earn a five star rating. It’s not as hard as it sounds. You only need 100,000 points to five star a song which will probably happen around the middle of each song. If you don’t happen to five star a song, you can always go back and try it again; use the Main Menu and go to Quick Play then Performances to select the song.
Once you finish the first song with five stars, you should unlock:
3. Finish the concert. You will then be transported to Grandma’s house in the country side. You will be asked to feed Blue Jeans which is the family’s horse. When you bring him food you will notice an option to ride him. Do that 10 times in a row and you will unlock Champion Rider. Every 5 successful jumps you make will earn you 5 tokens. Save your tokens. There are two achievements that you will need to purchase clothing with tokens. Each clothing cost 1 token. You can buy all the clothes once you beat the game or as you progress through the game purchase shirts, pants and jackets. Always keep at least 1 – 2 tokens on you at all times.
Once you finish riding the horse 10 times you will unlock:
4. Although you will not get the Coop Fixer Upper achievement until later this is where you start it. This achievement is related to the story but it is separated into 4 different parts.
- The first part is when you have to collect 4 items in the yard, 2 of them are in plain sight but the other 2 items are semi-hidden. One is near Blue Jeans inside the barn and the other is inside the house on the first floor.
- The other 3 parts will be later on in the game but those items are all in plain sight.
5. The next 3 achievements you get while playing games at the fair. You are asked to try out some games. You can play the games and get the achievements now or you can come back later when asked to play the games again. I suggest getting them now because later on you will need to play them a few times each to get stuffed animals. It would be a lot quicker to get them now.
- For the first game, you will play Expert Frog Launcher. To get the achievement you need to score over 100 points,
- It might take at least a game or two to get used to the controls, but it is an easy one. Just move the left stick to aim the launcher and then launch by pushing forward on the left stick and then pulling back.
- The silver frogs give extra points.
Once you finish the game with more than 100 points you should unlock:
- For the Horse Racing mini game it will be much easier if you hook up 3 more controllers.
If you own a rhythm game or two, you should have a lot of controllers. You can use a DJ Hero controller, a Dance Pad, a Guitar Hero controller, Drum Set controller or even another regular controller. You only need 3 and the controller only needs the ‘A’ button to work.
- Once you start the game, press ‘A’, the green button, on all the other controllers so they are included in the game. Then hit all the targets on your main account controller to advance further.
- To shoot the targets move the left stick around and hit all of the targets with the right or left trigger. Do not shoot the turtle because it will slow you down.
Once you finish the Horse Racing and win, you should unlock:
Win the Horse Races game at the Fair against three of your friends.
- WARNING: Before attempting this next achievement, please note if you read all the comments in the YouTube video that this achievement almost caused people to break their xbox’s or throw it out the window.
Some people wanted to crack their disc’s. I recommend not cracking your disc if it is a rental.
- The Bottle Toss mini game is the hardest achievement in the game. Err, well it’s the only hard one in the game. To get Perfect Aim, you need exactly what the title of the achievement says… Perfect Aim.
- To get the bottles that are very high up you need to move the right analog stick up really quickly. Pull the stick towards you to load the bean bag. To move the aimer use the left stick.
- Luckily there is a video on YouTube that shows exactly how to do each stage. You need to complete all 10 stages for the achievement.
- Credit for the youtube video goes to Savgcom on youtube.
Once you complete Stage 10 in the Bottle Toss, you should unlock:
6. This next achievement is related to the story, you start performing the Hoedown Throwdown right after you are sent to find your brother and all the food he was supposed to pick up. He will be inside of a deli, but don’t go there yet. Look around for a bit and buy a bunch of clothes so you can get closer to the 100 clothes bought achievement.
Once you finish the Hoedown Throwdown, you should unlock:
7. The next time you get sent to the Tour Bus after the first song in the Country Barn, go to the back of the tour bus heading toward your changing room but do not change your clothes. Right before you go into your changing room make a right and there is a little area where you can add little things to your clothes. What i did was throw on the same design on each jacket and shirt until the achievement unlocked. If you haven’t bought any clothes yet and want to buy them all after the story ends you can wait to do this achievement as I mentioned before you are still able to explore and walk around once you beat the game.
Once you put a design on 30 clothes you should unlock:
8. Now coming back to the Coop Fixer Upper, right after your dad and his new girlfriend don’t work out and Travis thinks you two shouldn’t be together you decide to go shopping. Instead you see something that would look nice with the chicken coop.
Once you bring the item to the chicken coop you should unlock:
9. Follow along with the story until the concert at the fair, if you have been five starring every song you should unlock Rockstar right after you finish singing “Rockstar” with a 5 star rating. You will get this on the sixth stage in the game. Again, if you happen to miss the fifth star, go back to the menu and replay the song in Quick Play > Performances.
Once you perform a five star rating song on each stage you should unlock:
Earn a 5 Star rating on each stage.
2 guides10. The next achievement is a story related achievement. It will pop after you reveal that Hannah Montana is really Miley Cyrus *GASP* and finish the song “You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home”.
If you have been keeping up with five starring every song Superstar will pop. If you still need a song use Quick Play to five star it and unlock:
Earn a 5 Star rating on all songs.
11. After story mode ends, you will notice you are missing one achievement. You should also have some tokens to spend. Buy some shirts, pants, and jackets with the rest of your tokens and if you still didn’t unlock the achievement ride Blue Jeans (the horse) to get more tokens.
Keep buying all the clothes and on the 100th clothing bought you should unlock:

Students give a clue by saying the first letter, for example, if they are thinking about the clock on the wall, they would say, ‘I spy with my little eye, something beginning with C.’ A quick game that gets the students thinking about the vocab relating to their immediate environment. Class Secrets Get the group together and ask for a volunteer to leave the room. Once they’ve gone, think of a ‘secret’ about that person, for example, it’s their birthday, or they’re having an affair with the college principal. That kind of thing. When they come back in, they have to guess the secret truth about themselves by asking questions. The rest of the group give clues. A great ice- breaker, this one always raises a laugh. Simon Says A party game that works well with English students as a way of practising listening to and understanding commands.
The teacher says a number of simple commands, such as, ‘Put your hands on your head’, ‘Stand on one leg’ or ‘Start humming’, and the students have to do what you say – but only if you have prefaced the command with ‘Simon says...’. If you don’t say ‘Simon says...’ and the student follows the command, they are out, and the game resumes until there is a winner. Party Invitations The whole class sits in a circle. Tell them that it’s your birthday next week and that you’re planning a birthday party. They are all invited... but on one condition. They must bring you a present, and it must be something that you really want. Each student in turn tells you what they will bring to give you on your birthday. You will either tell them that they can come, or that they are not invited. This depends on what they offer to bring you. The item they’re going to bring must begin with the same letter as your first name. If it does, they can come; if it doesn’t, they can’t. For example, if your name is Lucy and they offer to bring ‘a lemon’ as a present, they will be welcome.
If they offer to bring ‘a bottle of wine’ they will be given short shrift! This game is hilarious, as some students will twig onto your ‘unspoken rule’ fairly early on, while some won’t get it at all, however obvious you make it! Something’s Different Get the whole class together. Ask one of them to leave the room, then get the remaining students to change five things about the classroom. For example, you could put a chair on a table, or get two students to swap jumpers, or anything – so long as it’s not too subtle. Then bring the student back in and get them to guess what changes you have made. Whispering Trees Get the students standing in a line. Stand at one end and whisper a short phrase or sentence Games for the Classroom big activity book 87. in the ear of the student next to you. For example, you could say, ‘My dad once met Bernard Cribbins in a bus queue in Dover.’ Each student repeats the phrase to their neighbour until you get to the end of the line, when the last student tells the class the sentence they heard, and you can reveal what the original sentence was.
A good game for practising listening and speaking skills. What’s Going On...? Probably better for an intermediate or advanced class, this one. Prepare twenty questions, based on what is happening in the news (be it local, national or world news). You could include spelling questions too, and questions about different members of the class, for example, ‘Which country does Louisa come from?’ Split the class into two teams and you’re ready to play. Give five points for a correct answer, and bonus points at your discretion for any extra information that the students give in their answers. If the first team doesn’t know the answer, hand it over to the other team for a bonus point. My Butler Went To Meadowhall The title refers to Meadowhall shopping centre near Sheffield. The game is really just a version of My Grandmother Went To Market. Students sit in a circle, away from desks and paper, and so on. Tell the students that you teach because you love it and don’t need the money as you are actually rather well off.
In fact, you have a butler who goes up to Meadowhall every Friday to go shopping for you, and he buys you lots of different things. This week, however, you can’t decide what to buy, so you are asking the students to help you. You are going to make a list. Start with saying, ‘My butler is going to Meadowhall on Friday and will buy me... (think of any item that you can buy in a shop).’ The next person has to say, ‘Your butler is going to Meadowhall on Friday and will buy you...’ whatever you said, plus an item of their own. The list goes around the circle until the last person has to remember the whole list of items. Students usually give prompts if their fellow students are struggling. A good vocabulary game, as well as being fun and a test of the memory. Plus they get a laugh thinking about your (imaginary – unless you really have one...?) butler. What’s In The Bag...? Have a ‘lucky dip’ style bag, or box, which you can use from time to time for this quick activity that draws the class together in mutual curiosity.
Put something different in the bag (or box) each time, for example, a paper clip, or an orange. Students take it in turns to feel inside the bag (or box) – without looking – and then describe what the object feels like and what they think it is. This activity can easily be handed over to the students for them to facilitate among themselves, even using items that they have brought in from home. The Yes/No Game An old favourite from TV, this is great for practising question and answer forms. Get students up to the front of the class one at a time and ask them questions, about themselves, the weather, the school or college – anything. The student must reply verbally but cannot say the words ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. If they do, they are out. Ask someone to act as the timer (and as the ‘gong’ or ‘buzzer’ when each player slips up and is out), and write the times for how long each student managed to go without saying ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ on the board. If the
UK stores will sell ‘Black Ops 4’ early due to massive day one patch
How do you know day one game patches are getting out of hand? When stores are selling games early to accommodate those massive downloads. UK retail chain GAME is letting people buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as early as six hours ahead of time to make sure they’ve had time to download the necessary 50GB launch day patch for the official midnight debut on October 12th. This shouldn’t be an issue if you buy a digital copy (you can preload the latest version well before then) but disc buyers may spend a lot of time staring at progress bars on October 11th.
The timing illustrates the problems with a game sales model that still relies in part on physical releases. Companies frequently have to declare titles finished weeks or months in advance of launch to ensure there are boxed copies, but games aren’t necessarily ready by that point. It can be tempting to simply issue a gigantic launch day patch instead of delaying the release to be sure that everyone can start playing right away. And stores aren’t entirely off the hook, either. While GAME’s move is considerate, it comes because retail chains tend to demand that physical versions launch alongside their digital counterparts.
The rise of these enormous patches has ramifications beyond lengthy wait times, too. If you’re using a capped internet service plan, you might risk running over your cap (or waiting until the next month) just to get a game that’s ready to play, even if you bought the disc version to avoid a large download. There will also be some users who have connections fast enough to play, but slow enough that 50GB could take several hours or more. Games like Black Ops 4 may be off-limits to certain players simply because they don’t have the luxuries of unlimited data or truly fast broadband.
URGENT NEWS! You can pick up your copy of #CallOfDuty #BlackOps4 from Thursday 6pm – 9pm. Don’t worry if you haven’t preordered! you can still pick up a copy & pre install the game and be ready to play it at midnight. WE WILL NOT! Repeat, NOT DOING A MIDNIGHT LAUNCH 👍 pic.twitter.com/SdkRMplrfM

list and specific features of hunting
Hunting for swamp-meadow game is considered a true sporting fun. It requires patience, endurance, strength and, of course, accuracy. At the same time, it is quite difficult to get into many inhabitants of swamps and meadows.
Types of game
When they go hunting, men know exactly who they want to shoot. But they do not always succeed. Many come back from their first hunt empty-handed, and even experienced shooters have bad days. After all, it is not without reason that it is believed that this is a rather difficult hunt.
Fast-winged snipe causes the most problems for those who like to shoot. But this is not the only swamp-meadow game. The list of species is quite large. These include the great snipe, harshnep, sandpiper, sandpiper, gryazovik, dunlin, morodunka, shepherdess and other representatives. Do not forget also about marsh chickens – chasers, corncrake (or, as they call it otherwise, – dergach), cranes – Manchu, Canadian, Australian, Daurian, black, gray and white. Bog-meadow species also include moorhen, lapwings (pigalitsa), tulesa, plover, oystercatcher.
In some places hunting is complicated by the fact that many species are listed in the Red Book, therefore, shooting them is prohibited. The size of the bird population is also regulated by the timing and methods of hunting. For example, the relevant authorities may set the days on which it is allowed to shoot game.
Peculiarities of hunting
One of the most difficult is the process of catching marsh-meadow inhabitants. This is mainly done by men. After all, a hunter must be not only well-aimed, but also strong and enduring.Catching a bird in a swamp is not an easy task. After all, even walking in this area is difficult. Crossings along narrow paths and on shaky soils, in which every wrong step can cause you to get stuck in swampy swamps, are not within the power of many.
But the men think the swamp meadow game is worth it. Hunters who have learned to catch birds in such an area can rightfully consider themselves full-fledged specialists. They may try to shoot other birds as well. But those who do not get bog animals in their hands cannot yet call themselves experienced mature hunters.Indeed, for this it is necessary to study the habits of the bird and understand the existing methods of hunting.
Catching each of the inhabitants of swamps and meadows has its own characteristics. Every experienced hunter who has already obeyed swamp-meadow game can tell about them. Everyone will have their own list of favorite birds. Often it depends on where exactly the hunter is used to going.
Specificity of areas
Every hunter, regardless of his place of residence, can go to the nearest swamps or meadows. They can be found not only in remote corners, but also near megacities.
One of the richest in game is considered to be the floodplain bogs, which are located along the river banks. Lowland options are not inferior to them, a little distant from other reservoirs. Swamp meadow game lives in green grassy meadows located in close proximity to rivers and lakes. It is in such places that you can find the so-called red birds – shepherds, swift-footed corncrakes, snipe, great snipe, harlequin, waders, marsh chickens, lapwings and other representatives.
Also, various animals can be found in the old forest. There are vast mossy swamps. Their surface is covered with a thick layer of moss; they can be overgrown with sedge, horsetail or other plants. Quite interesting swamp-meadow game can be found in these places. Species that live near moss bogs: curlews, sandpipers, great snipe, harlequins. In the reeds you can find marsh chickens, snipe, crust, and reeds.
Swamp Game Hunt
Before setting out to hunt, it is important to know when it is allowed to do so.So, everywhere in the spring it is forbidden to hunt for snipe, great snipe, and horned snipe. The season opens only in autumn.
These birds are hunted with a spaniel or a pointing dog. It starts early in the morning. Hunters come to the swamp, trying to approach from the side against the wind. The first to search for is the dog. She, having felt the smell of birds, should approach the bird in the grass and stand above it. Experienced hunters already by the behavior of their dog, by the broach made to it, know what kind of game the animal has spotted.
It will depend on how exactly you need to prepare for shooting. If all three species of these birds are present in the swamp, then the hunter will have the opportunity to show all his dexterity and skills.
Shooting tactics
Before making a shot, you need to understand what kind of bird the dog saw. So, a snipe rushes in a whirlwind. It is customary to shoot at it offhand. But the great snipe is more calm. The hunter has the ability to aim. The horn flies like a butterfly during takeoff, this also allows for targeted shooting.
Such bog meadow game is shot with the smallest shot. It is also called the snipe. The optimal type of weapon is a double-barreled gun. In this case, it is desirable that it be like this: the right barrel is a cylinder, the left is a payday. If the specified condition is met, the gun will hit with a wide talus.
Peculiarities of preparation
It is important to choose the right hunting time. Indeed, in the fall, these species of birds fly south. They stay in swamps only for a few days. Therefore, it is important not to miss the time of the appearance of the rash of birds. But if you find at least one bird, for example, a snipe, then it is worth searching the entire adjacent area. After all, these birds can not stay in a group, but settle at a short distance from each other.
But don’t be upset if you didn’t manage to get to the dump. After all, it is likely that there is a local swamp meadow game in the area you have chosen. True, it is necessary to get used to the hunt for the latter separately.
When preparing, it is important to pay attention not only to the gun, but also to the clothes. At the beginning of autumn, light clothing and sneakers on the legs are enough. But when it gets cold, it is worth warming yourself. It is advisable to put on special wading boots on your feet. At all times, a cap with a long visor that can protect from sunlight should be worn on the head.
Types of steppe and field game
But hunting for other birds is no less interesting. At first glance, it seems to many that the steppe is lifeless. But this opinion is deceptive, you just have to hide a little and take a closer look. Steppe birds are not used to the neighborhood, so they are very shy.
Partridges and quails can be found on arable lands, hayfields, in wide forest belts, ravines and gullies. Hunters are also interested in other swamp-meadow, field and steppe game. Many people want to shoot a bustard (no less well-known name is a dudak), because it is a rather large bird. Also in the steppe you can find wigglers, little bustards, sand grouses, saj, demoiselle cranes.
Experienced hunters know how to catch other birds as well. Many people are interested in catching big-billed plovers, gyrfalcon, runners, and avdotka. Some hunters in the steppe are not limited to birds only. Many people want to shoot a fox, a hare, a wolf or a tolai hare.
Features of catching steppe and field game
Hunting for birds requires considerable endurance, strength, skill. Many people cannot afford such “entertainment”. A hunter-athlete can spend several hours looking for noisy partridges, watching for a sensitive bustard, or catching hooves and sand grouses flying to a watering hole.
In some regions at the end of August hunting for dudaks is allowed. They spend it together with the cops. The birds are hiding in dense feather grass or weeds. The dog, sensing the birds, performs a broach and stands in a stance, as when catching partridges. At the same time, the found bustard begins to take off, this is accompanied by a loud noise. For shooting, it is advisable to use shot number 2 or 3. But hunters also use another method – hunting with an entrance.
Other bog-meadow and field game, for example, partridges, are no less interesting. They often run in front of the dog, only provoking it.If the herd of birds has risen, then they will move a considerable distance – not less than 300 m. At this moment, it is advisable to break it. After all, separated single birds sit very tightly, so the work of dogs on them turns out to be more successful. It is good to hunt partridges with spaniels.
Swamp-meadow game: hunting for dodgy snipe
Hunting for swamp-meadow game is raised by gambling hunters to the rank of sports fun. Endurance, patience, endurance and accuracy – these are the qualities required for this type of hunting. At the same time, as a rule, it is extremely problematic to make a well-aimed shot at the feathered inhabitants of the swampy area. Due to the inaccessibility of the swamps, the hunter must also have good physical shape and proper uniforms.
Representatives of marsh-meadow game are snipe, great snipe, harshnip, various types of marsh chickens (corncrake, etc.) and cranes (Australian, gray, black, etc.). Lapwings, reeds, and in some regions also turukhtans are found in the marshy area. Many species of marsh game are listed in the Red Book. In order to preserve their population, hunting is allowed strictly within a certain period of time. The deadlines are set by special departments.
The habitats of this game are swampy reservoirs where sedge and reeds grow, flood meadows, floodplain bogs, peat bogs with small mud islands (where birds find food after sunset) and grassy plain meadows that are located near lakes and rivers.
The hunting season begins in the fall.During this period, the birds prepare to fly south, gathering in flocks. Birds are gaining fat mass, so their flight is more “heavy” than usual. Places of their mass accumulation are called outbursts. Usually their location is unchanged. But even if it was not possible to get to the dump, then you should not despair. Non-migratory local game remains in the swamps, which can be hunted.
Migratory swamp-meadow game includes, in particular, the snipe. This article will be devoted to him. Snipe hunting is one of the most revered types of hunting. It is not without reason that it is believed that a well-aimed hunter is the one who managed to shoot this nimble bird. By the way, the English name for the snipe is “snipe”. Hence the word “sniper” (“sniper”), meaning a hunter, shooting accurately at snipe. In honor of this bird, a smooth-bore pump-action shotgun is even named.
Who is a snipe?
Snipe is a representative of the wader detachment. This fast-winged bird has a slender body, a long (up to 5 cm) thin beak and wide wings. The body length barely reaches 30 cm, and the bird weighs from 100 to 180 g. The plumage is brownish-gray with white spots and stripes. The snipe is found throughout the territory of the Russian Federation (with the exception of the Russian North and Kamchatka), as well as in the CIS countries. The bird hibernates in the Caucasus and Central Asia, and sometimes flies into more southern regions. Snipe returns in spring. It settles in woodlands, near muddy streams and in forest bogs. The bird needs loose, important soil. The snipe’s diet includes beetles, worms and larvae.
Marriage season
Already 7 days after the arrival from the south, the mating season begins at the snipe. It lasts until July. The male snipe rises into the sky (clear, cloudy or rainy) and begins to mourn. It takes off to a height of over one hundred meters, makes several circles, and then dives sharply, pressing its wings to the body, while fluffing its tail. With such a “fall” as a result of the friction of air and feathers, an amazing sound is produced, reminiscent of the bleating of a lamb. After landing on a log or hummock, the bird begins to twitch: “taku-taku”. An interested female responds to this signal with a kind of chirp.
Nesting and offspring
After mating, the female sets up a nest on a dry bump. A snipe’s nest is a small depression lined with grass at the bottom. The female lays up to 4 variegated eggs, after which she incubates them for three weeks. The male does not take care of the offspring, although he is not far from the nest. Immediately after hatching, young snipes leave the nest and together with the female go to the thickets in search of food.Chicks develop very intensively, and soon become independent and leave the mother.
Snipe in hunting season
In the southern regions of Russia, from the end of August to the middle of November, hunting is allowed for birds. At the same time, there is a gathering of birds in flocks before flying south. Snipes are starting to gain weight. Because of the “extra” weight, the birds let the hunter and the dog close enough, about 20-30 m. It is during this period that snipe hunting has the greatest chances of success.Usually migration occurs before the beginning of October in the northern regions and until mid-November in the southern regions, but there were cases when especially fat birds lingered until the first snow appeared. Sometimes it happens that single snipe remain over the winter near non-freezing springs.
Which cartridges should you choose?
Very often, inexperienced hunters use an excessive amount of shot. As a result, the game will be too “stuffed” with lead. Selecting the wrong ingredients can result in unwanted excess damage to the bird.In addition, it is very difficult to remove the shot from the small snipe body along with the feathers that have got into the wound.
Usually inexperienced hunters use too large weights and small shot. For small snipe, which is also weak on the wound, it is recommended to use dispersant cartridge No. 9 with a weight of 28-32 g. Such cartridges are often called snipe. Such a charge is effective at a distance of 25-30 m. At closer distances, cartridges No. 7 and No. 8 can be used, less often No. 10 is used.
How to shoot at a snipe?
Taking off into the air, the snipe does not immediately try to hide from sight. Easy catch, you say? Not at all. The difficulty lies in the fact that after take-off, the bird begins to twist and rush in different directions. Hence the most important mistake when shooting at snipe – long aiming. It is necessary to instantly throw up the gun and take the right lead. There is no point in accompanying all the bird’s pirouettes and loops.
Shooting on a snipe is best done while it is just taking off, without waiting for the proprietary “zigzags”. This method will be especially effective if you use a gun with a cylindrical bore of the barrel, while using dispersant cartridges.
It is also important to learn how to take the lead correctly. First, you should estimate the direction of movement of the snipe. If the distance between the hunter and the game is about 20 m, then it is necessary to move the front sight of the gun in the direction of flight by about 2-3 birds.
When hunting with a dog, it happens that the four-legged assistant moves away from you a little to the side, and then picks up the game. The raised “lateral” snipe swoops down on the hunter from the side and at an angle. In this case, you need to take the maximum lead. This is difficult from the point of view of psychology, because it is difficult for an inexperienced hunter to shoot an empty space 3-5 snipe ahead of the bird.
As you can see, it is difficult to take a lead when shooting at snipe, but there are various methods that allow the hunter to make more accurate shots. Cardboard spacers can be used to stretch the shot sheaf. A shot shell, like a pie, is divided into 4 equal parts. This method is effective at medium distances. But at a short distance, it is advantageous to use a charge with a maximum spread.
Snipe hunting with a cop
Hunting with Pointing Dogs is the main and most favorite way of hunting for snipe. This is a classic method used for the rest of the swamp-meadow game. This brings the hunter great pleasure and sports interest. It is best to start hunting with a dog at dawn, having arrived at the desired place in advance. The direction of travel should be chosen so as to constantly move against the wind.
Having chosen the direction, the hunter lets the dog go in search of game.A cop (sometimes a spaniel is used) moves in front of the hunter, searching the territory, trying to find a hidden snipe in the thickets. After the dog learns the bird, it goes to a stretch, and after determining the location of the game it freezes in its famous stance. Having got closer to the four-legged comrade, the hunter directs him forward, giving the command to raise the snipe to the wing. The further development of events depends solely on the accuracy of the hunter.
Hunting is most meaningful if the dog is well prepared, and the area is “saturated” with snipe.Much depends on the experience of the hunter.
Video about what training a pointing dog should have:
The cop grabs the game on the flair, then stands up, the bird flies up into the sky with a cry every now and then, and shots are thundering in the air. Such a hunt will satisfy the sporting passion of any hunter, especially at the moment when, after the next volley, a wounded snipe will fold its wings and helplessly collapse into the grass thickets.
Demonstration of snipe hunting with a cop:
Snipe can be hunted without a dog, this is the so-called “self-catcher” hunt. The hunter moves through the swamp, scaring away the game and shooting at the birds that have risen. But in this case, he will not have those exciting feelings, that hunting excitement with which the shooter approaches the cop, who has become in a rack.
Snipe hunting with “string”
Snipe can also be hunted with a rope. Two hunters move in a parallel course at a distance of about 20-25 m from each other. Between them, a string is stretched along the ground, tied at their belts. Game, which has risen from under the rope, falls under the fire of either one or the other shooter.
There is also a second variant of “rope” hunting. The string is pulled by two hunter assistants. As a rule, these are boys. The hunter himself is located behind them and shoots at the birds that have risen from under the string.
Interesting …
Just before leaving for the southern regions, around the second half of November, huge flocks of snipe are found in the most unexpected places for hunters. For example, on artificial reservoirs (reservoirs), flooded islets and forests. Such a flooded forest is sometimes completely “clogged” with snipe.
When hunting for snipe, as well as for any swamp-meadow game, in early autumn it is necessary to take light and loose clothing. It is advisable to take a cap with a long visor. This piece of equipment will protect your eyes from the glare of the sun. Late autumn is more likely to rain. It is best to bring a jacket with a canvas or leather top. Boots can be taken both leather and rubber.
Snipe can be hunted throughout the day. But in the afternoon it is advisable to take a break for lunch and rest, as well as prepare for the evening hunt.We wish you great trophies!

The Ministry of Forestry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region began issuing permits for the production of swamp-meadow game
The hunting season with island and continental pointing dogs , retrievers, spaniels opens in the Nizhny Novgorod region. You can obtain a mining permit from the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
“The beauty of traditional hunting with a dog lies in the symbiosis and well-coordinated work of the hunter and his faithful assistant. So, for example, cop dogs, finding game, freeze on the spot, making a “stand” and showing the hunter where the prey is, ”the Ministry of Forestry explained.
In this type of hunting, for most hunters, it is much more valuable to get a great snipe or woodcock from under a dog than larger game, like a duck.
The department clarified that in the Nizhny Novgorod region hunting for birds with one gun dog is carried out with the participation of no more than three hunters. The hunting season in the Nizhny Novgorod region will last in the following terms :
– for marsh-meadow game – in the period from July 25 to November 30;
– for upland game, except for woodcock – from August 5 to February 28 (29);

90,000 Summer-autumn hunting for birds will open in the Moscow region on 8 August05 Aug2020 4:59 PM
Hunting for game birds in the Moscow Region, in accordance with the hunting rules approved by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, opens on August 8, reported on the website of the Moscow Region Government.
– In the region, from the second Saturday of August, the summer-autumn season of hunting for waterfowl, marsh-meadow, field and steppe game will be open. That is, the hunt starts on the 8th, and will last until November 15, , – said the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Andrei Razin.
According to the minister, the opening of the summer-autumn hunting season is traditionally the most massive exit of hunters to the hunting grounds of the Moscow region.
– Today there are about 200 thousand hunters registered in the region. About the same number of hunters are Muscovites, many of whom also hunt in the Moscow region. In the first weekend of hunting in the lands of our region, up to 50 thousand hunters are selected, – said Razin.
The region has prepared an inspection staff, as well as the necessary special equipment for checking hunters.
– Permits for the extraction of hunting resources and hunting vouchers in the assigned hunting grounds of the Moscow Region can be obtained directly from the hunting farms, which are 64, in the Moscow Region, the minister said.
It is also necessary to observe the rules of hunting, the established norms of production and safety precautions during hunting, as well as the observance of fire safety rules when in the hunting grounds of the region.
– On the basis of one hunter, the norms of permissible game of birds per day have been approved.Capercaillie and black grouse – one individual per hunting season for one hunting ground, gray partridge and hazel grouse – two individuals, woodcock, wood pigeon, turtle doves and waterfowl – five individuals, swamp-meadow game and quail – ten individuals per day per one hunter , – concluded Razin.
In addition to the state hunting supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, on the territory of the region, authorized officials of hunting users will carry out production hunting control. A hunter is obliged, at the request of a production hunting inspector, to present a hunting ticket, a weapon permit, a hunting permit and a permit, as well as things that are with him and vehicles for their inspection.
