Watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
It looks like Amazon is doing the thing where it combines reviews for different discs because some of the reviews are for the various Harry Potter collections. This is for the 4k version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. This is a prequel to the Harry Potter films set in NY during the 1920s. It is centered around the character of Newt, who is a wizard from England passing through NY on the way to Arizona who has a case full of magical creatures, some of which end up getting out and wreak havoc throughout the city. He is joined by a muggle (called no-majs in America) named Jacob Kowalski (played by Dan Folger) who sees Newt using magic in the process of trying to capture one of the escaped creatures, Tina Goldstein (played by Katherine Waterston) who works for the American version of The Ministry of Magic, and her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol), the former who arrests Newt and the latter who ends up coming along for the ride.
There is a larger plot than just rounding up the creatures, that will ultimately tie in more with, and ultimately kind of parallel the Harry Potter story arc. I will not reveal too much of it to keep from spoiling it, but it involves a dark wizard who is not Voldemort. It has a very similar feel to the Potter films, in large part because David Yates who directed 4 of the Potter movies also directed this one, and a lot of the production crew was the same. The writing and acting were all great, and the special effects are even better than what was in the original movies.
For those who get the 4k disc, the movie looks and sounds great. The UHD disc only has the movie on it. All the extras are on the regular blu-ray. There are several short (between 5 and 10 minutes) making of, behind the scenes, character and creature featurettes, then about 15 minutes worth of deleted scenes. About an hour’s worth of material (give or take). Not nearly as many extras as included with the extended edition Potter films, but still a good amount.
Overall, the movie was very enjoyable. I have not read the book, so I am not sure how much had to be left out, but I thought the story flowed fairly well, and it really set up the future stories very well. It was definitely a character establishment story, much like the first Harry Potter film and novel were, and will likely pick things up significantly in the subsequent movie(s). Definitely worth checking out.

‘Harry Potter’ Films No Longer Available for Streaming
Streaming Harry Potter films will soon be a thing of the past, as all eight will shortly be removed from all streaming services.
As of Sunday, the Harry Potter movies will leave the Peacock streaming service, according to an article by comicbook.com.
The series has remained incredibly popular, and following a return to cinemas in China earlier this year, The Philosopher’s / Sorcerer’s Stone even broke the $1 billion mark.

No more streaming ‘Harry Potter’ movies
Credit: Warner BrosSome fans will undoubtedly be upset that streaming Harry Potter films is no longer an option. Before being available on Peacock, the films were available on HBO Max. It is thought that the franchise’s rapid move across platforms is due to pre-existing contracts.
Allegedly, NBC Universal has rights to the franchise until the end of 2021. However, the contract also means that the blockbusters must now leave Peacock and join fellow Wizarding World movies – the Fantastic Beasts series – on NBCUniversal’s Syfy and USA cable networks.

Author JK Rowling’s controversial comments have seemingly done little to dissuade fans of the Potter films. However, a drop in book sales was reported.
Though it seems unlikely that we’ll ever get them on Netflix or Amazon Prime, hopefully, we’ll see the films return to a streaming service soon.
As for Fantastic Beasts … the third film is still due to release next year. However, with the announcement that Johnny Depp has lost his case against the Sun newspaper, it is unknown whether he’ll still return to play Gellert Grindelwald.
The Harry Potter series stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint among many others. It follows Harry in a series of epic adaptations of JK Rowling’s books including The Chamber of Secrets, Order of the Phoenix, and The Deathly Hallows.

What’s on TV Saturday: ‘The Crimes of Grindelwald’ and ‘Clique’
What’s on TV
FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD (2018) 8 p.m. on HBO; stream on HBO platforms. We’ve come a long way since J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” hit the big screen. That movie spawned seven sequels and a spinoff franchise that began with “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” in 2016. “The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second in that series and the prequel to the Potter films. Our resident “magizoologist,” Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), sets out to stop the menacing wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp in true Depp form) from disrupting the peace between magical and nonmagical beings and sparking a movement of pure-blood wizard domination. (The metaphors are hard to miss.) While the film upholds Rowling’s limitless creativity — the scenes are rich with detail and stunning visuals — she packs it with so many characters and subplots that you may be left searching for a single thread to hold onto.
What’s Streaming
CLIQUE Stream on Hulu. Critics have called this psychological thriller Britain’s version of “Gossip Girl.” (It’s an appropriate comparison, considering “Clique” was created by Jess Brittain, the writer behind the British teen drama series “Skins.”) The first season of the show centers on rich and — we soon learn — dangerous alpha girls at a Scottish university who come between a pair of childhood best friends, Holly (Synnove Karlsen) and Georgia (Aisling Franciosi). The second season, now available to stream on Hulu, comes with a gender switch and more of a political tone: The intimidating clique is a pack of attractive libertarian boys who go head-to-head with progressive classmates on campus.
NEVER GROW OLD (2019) Stream on Amazon. This dark western plays like a morality tale, blurring the line between good and evil through the goings-on in an American frontier town called Garlow. Set in the late 1800s, the film follows Patrick Tate (Emile Hirsch), an Irish undertaker whose job had been steady until a local preacher banned liquor in the town. Suddenly, bodies stopped piling up. That changes when an outlaw, Dutch Albert (John Cusack), strolls into Garlow and unleashes a wave of violence and corruption. Patrick is left contemplating whether to carry on with his work with his head down, or to muster the courage to stand up to Cusack’s villain.
CHIEF OF STAFF Stream on Netflix. Fans of “The West Wing” and “House of Cards” may want to give this South Korean drama series a try. The show centers on Jang Tae-jun (Lee Jung-jae), a former police officer and an aide to a lawmaker in the National Assembly. He works wonders for his boss but also has ambitions of his own. As he tries to climb the political ladder, Jang strikes up a secret relationship with a lawyer who works for a rival faction of his party.

All Eight ‘Harry Potter’ Movies Join HBO Max Streaming Lineup – Deadline
All eight Harry Potter movies are available for streaming on HBO Max, the WarnerMedia service that launched Wednesday in the U.S.
Released between 2001 and 2011, the films based on J.K. Rowling’s family-friendly series of books collectively grossed $7.7 billion for Warner Bros. Like other Warner titles, they had premium cable releases on HBO and in 2018 became available via the HBO Go and HBO Now streaming apps. (Go is for pay-TV subscribers to HBO and Now is a stand-alone version of HBO.) Digitally, they were available for rental and purchase but not via subscription streaming through a single outlet for non-HBO subscribers.
As was the case when Disney secured the Star Wars feature lineup for Disney+, WarnerMedia wanted to avoid any perception issue by herding all of the films into the HBO Max pen. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, a spinoff of the Potter films, will also be available on HBO Max.

NBCUniversal and Warner Bros. had reached a multi-year deal in 2016 for the Potter films to air on NBCU cable networks. That agreement with NBCU, reportedly worth about $250 million, took effect in 2018 and replaced a prior pact with Disney. It also included franchise rights for use in theme parks.
When NBCU began touting its new Peacock streaming service to investors in January, it was widely believed that the Potter films could be an anchor tenant on Peacock due to the 2016 deal. At TCA winter press tour in January, HBO Max content chief Kevin Reilly dropped strong hints that the Potter films would land on the service by launch. Even after the new deal, ad-supported broadcasts on cable as well as through authenticated streaming are still expected on NBCU platforms, including Peacock, according to people familiar with the companies’ agreement.
HBO Max went live just past midnight on Wednesday, with 10,000 hours of film and TV programming, including original shows and library titles. It is available free for many current HBO subscribers and for $15 a month to new customers. WarnerMedia projects that HBO Max, which is the last of a handful of well-funded newly launched streaming entrants looking to make up ground against Netflix, will reach 75 million to 90 million global subscribers by 2025.
WarnerMedia has said it plans to invest $4 billion in content for HBO Max in its first three years, a large chunk of which went to land exclusive streaming rights to Friends and South Park. An ad-supported version of the service is on track to launch in 2021.
HBO Max’s film lineup will also feature titles from the Warner vault as well as the Criterion Collection, Studio Ghibli, New Line and other libraries. Among the titles available at launch are Crazy Rich Asians, A Star is Born, Aquaman, Joker, the Alien franchise, the American Pie series, Anastasia, Babe, Die Hard, The Flintstones, In Bruges, The Indian in the Cupboard, Jaws, Moulin Rouge! and Teen Witch. Also available are the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films, classics like Gone with the Wind, Casablanca and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The full DC slate, stretching back to the 1978 Superman, will come onto HBO during its first year, with director Zack Snyder’s new cut of Justice League ticketed for 2021.

The best anime series available on Netflix right now
1.

Right off the bat, One-Punch Man might turn out to be an anime gem for you. Especially if you are tired of superhero stories. The story is ridiculously paired with the obvious intent to be a superhero parody series. First of all, we get to know Saitama, who is an ordinary and seemingly uninteresting person with a peculiar hobby of being a hero.
Also, in this hit Netflix anime series, the protagonist trains rigorously for three years (and somehow loses all his hair in the process!) To become extremely powerful. So much so that one blow destroys any enemy. Interestingly, the biggest threat the hero faces is overwhelming boredom due to the lack of challenge for the enemy.

3. Steins; Gate
Steins Gate is virtually the best anime fantasy thriller series on Netflix. What sets this great anime show apart from the rest is its superb storytelling. Although this is a particularly short anime series, each episode contains a clue to the big picture at the end.
The main character of this wonderful anime series is the “mad scientist” Okabe Rintaroa, who, together with his friends, makes cool futuristic gadgets. His latest invention is a microwave telephone, which is somehow capable of changing the past and therefore turning the whole world into chaos.
Pro tip: If you get confused at first, don’t let it stop you until the end. Because, believe me, it is only getting better.

4. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
JoJo’s
Bizarre Adventure on Netflix is based on the acclaimed Japanese manga that has sold over 100 million copies. In addition, it has influenced many anime shows that are currently on our list. The most notable aspect of this famous anime series is its iconic presentation, art design, and even writing styles.
In addition, IGN rated the Manga version as “Must Read” and Otaku USA named the anime series one of the best of 2012. Hence, eating in this classic game is not easy.
Unlike most of the anime world, JoJo has multiple protagonists, and the story clearly follows each of its exciting paths. Thus, the plot is followed by all the members of the Joestar family who have funny names that can be abbreviated to the nickname “JoJo”. Likewise, in every unique part of the story, the Joestar family, whose members use their supernatural powers, face powerful enemies.

This pretty popular anime series has been a fan favorite for a long time due to the thriller storyline, so I would suggest skipping it. Because it features mesmerizing plot twists and relentless characters that are sure to keep you on the edge of your seats. This psychological crime anime series undoubtedly deserves a merciless title on Netflix.
The story follows the young prodigy Light Yagami, who finds death. Note about a Shinigami (spirit of death) capable of killing anyone just by writing their name on it. With this power in hand, the Light decides to become the god of the new world, cleansed of evil, killing all criminals. Consequently, it becomes a chess game between Light and the legendary detective, known only as L, who is looking for a serial killer.

First released in 1999, this is one of the best anime series and still works with candles like never before.Indeed. First of all, some of us love video games, right? But what if you can’t stop playing? In the era of evolution of the VR arena, Sword Art Online presents a very compelling scenario. Also, the collapse of public structures becomes very evident in this anime series available on Netflix. Naruto is a true classic anime series about everything. This hugely popular anime set the world on fire when it started in 2007. This is a gripping and gripping TV series featuring beasts with demonic tails, special chakra power, clan wars and some top-notch ninja action. Once you start watching this anime series, there is nothing stopping you from seeing the entire story unfolding in the drug ninja adventure.
The plot revolves around the main character Naruto, who decided to become the leader (Hokage) of his village, becoming a powerful ninja. But what awaits you is a mysterious and brutal ninja world full of immense battle and pain (no pun intended).
Naruto is not only the fourth best-selling manga series in history, but the success of the series is so great that it fuels the production of Boruto otawa

12. Bleach
Bleach is an anime series that explores Netflix’s surplus for all ages. The anime series Bleach began in 2004 and continued its huge career as a successful show until 2012, where it ended. The series includes 366 amazing episodes that will surely amuse you. Also, since a new release is said to be out soon, this is probably the best time to give this highly popular anime series a shot on Netflix.
Bleach tells the story of monsters and soul reapers. In the first episode, we see the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, turn his normal life around like an ordinary schoolboy when his family is attacked by a demon devouring human souls.Ichigo then embarks on a journey to rid the earth of all the evil that suffers in his new assignment as a soul reaper.

13. Your lies in April
Grab your towels because after that you will be sad. This emotionally compelling anime series is a work of art. So if you’re looking for an exhilarating romantic drama then look no further. Unlike other anime series on this list, Your Lies in April is perhaps one of the most realistic, leaving you very satisfied.
Kousei Arima, a piano prodigy, faces a mental breakdown after his mother passed away. In addition, the trauma deprives him of the opportunity to listen to music and has caused him to give up his passion ever since. He then meets the charming and eccentric violinist Kaori Miyazono, who forces him to break free from the shackles of his monotonous life. With its inspiring story and fantastic music, I chose it as one of the best anime series on Netflix.

14.Terror in Tokyo
Unlike all the other anime series on the list, Tokyo Ghoul is a more violent or gore-oriented anime series available on Netflix right now. Plus, for all people who enjoy heartbreaking action and plot twists, Tokyo Ghoul could be their favorite anime show on Netflix. Therefore, all weak viewers may want to give it a pass.
The plot revolves around the city of Tokyo, which is full of violent demons for human flesh. In addition, we meet the protagonist Ken Kaneki, who is unfortunately the victim of a ghoul attack that ultimately results in him becoming half human / half ghoul. Like the bestselling horror manga version, the series is a must-see for people in the supernatural genre.

15. Devilman Crybaby
This recent addition to the extensive list of anime series available on Netflix is a huge draw. While this horror genre anime makes an uninteresting initial impression, it offers much more than just cliche demons. The show often features graphic scenes of violence and sex, and there is no subtlety about it. So, of course, not everyone has a cup of tea.
The weak and good-natured Akira Fudu merges with the demon and acquires the ability to control the demon’s powers, being in his mental state, thus turning into the Devil Man. Also, the weeping thinking of his mind certainly comes with the name itself.Overall, this anime series is speeding up on Netflix.

This supernatural anime short has aliens devouring humans, and it’s even more romance and action like no other. Instead of a clear battle for survival, you can imagine parasite On Netflix, no doubt, it stands out for human psychology and great artistic representations.
Based on the award-winning manga series written by Iwaaki Hitoshi, this anime begins its storyline as the character of a 16-year-old high school student, Shinichi Izumi, who turns out to be adopting a parasite named Migi. Hence, this pair works together to combat the evil pests that are now taking over and forge a lasting bond in the process.

17. Inuyasha
Inuyasha is interesting to watch anime series with a little bit of everything. It was televised nearly two decades ago and immediately became a fan favorite. Available on Netflix, this anime series is one of the few shows that mixes Shonen and Shojo styles. In addition, feudal Japan is a world represented in the series with strong resemblances to some Japanese mythological characters and creatures.
This epic Netflix anime series follows Kagome Higurashi, who was carried over 500 years in the last Japanese period by Sengoku when she was dragged by a demon through a shrine in a well.In addition, he releases the main character Inuyasha, a half-demon, half-human, and together with his many friends, they embark on a journey to find the sacred pearl that all demons and humans seek thanks to their higher power.
Overall, Inuyasha is the right mix of romance, comedy, action, adventure, fantasy and horror. But some episodes were canceled due to their high amount of violence and horror. If you want a mix of everything, then you should definitely check it out.

Best Anime Netflix Series – Summary
So that brings us to the bottom of the list.I would like to report that these best anime series on Netflix have not been included in any particular order. To be honest, they all have their own unique flavor, so we do not intend to classify them. In addition, we think these titles are suitable for a wide range of anime lovers. So one may not necessarily be better than the other. We’ll continue to add more to the list as new animes arrive on Netflix. Until then, let us know if you like these episodes. Happy holiday, friends!
90,000 11 science fiction movies on Netflix now you need to watch A few years ago, in the dark ages of the video store, adventurers walked labyrinthine passages to find treasured artifacts from the science fiction film genre with part-time archimeisters. Now, thanks to Netflix, you can simply log into Mordor and browse hundreds of options with the click of a button. Which is magical … if you know what you are looking for.
Most of us don’t have the Eye of Sauron to sift through Netflix’s fantasy film programs, making it nearly impossible to find quality picks hidden under the Swamp of Sadness directed at video. Luckily, we went back and forth to pick out some of the streaming service’s brightest gems. Assuming you’ve picked some of the bigger Netflix names – Kubo and Two Strings, Stardust, Netflix’s amazing Fullmetal Alchemist, or Marvel’s Doctor Strange – here are 10 films that will serve you well … knight at.
Tale of Fairy Tales (2016)
Based on fairy tales compiled by Italian writer Giambattista Basile (who was smart enough to write stories about Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty in the distant past), this anthology film explores human obsession through a generous, often diabolical lens. In the assortment of Tale of Tales vignettes, a husband threatens his life to carve a heart out of a sea monster in order to saturate his barren wife; a mother is violent because of her son’s double; two jealous elderly women pickled their skin to sleep in a vain king; and another royal patriarch, confident that no one will be able to guess the texture of an oversized flea skin, bets on his daughter’s hand in marriage, only to lose her in a cannibal From the first minute, Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah) illustrates his gloomy (Grimm?) shorts with the stunning color of the old masters.Arthur Rackham would be proud.
Baahubali: start (2015)
From a Western perspective, this production of Tollywood, the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release, is like a biblical epic created by Marvel Studios, with a little Hamlet and Step Up thrown in for good measure. It begins with the life of Shivudu, an adventurer with superhuman strength, who escapes his provincial life by climbing a waterfall the size of a skyscraper, assists an assistant rebel warrior named Avantika and teams up with her to save the kidnapped queen from the evil emperor. Exploding with hyper-choreographed action sequences and CG spectacle (not to mention a handful of musical numbers with equal bravura), Inception is 159 minutes of mythical surplus, growing as soon as an Indian film, and resting on the beefy shoulders of its hero Eponymous actor Prabhas. If you fall for this, pump up – this is only the first part. The twist leads to Baahubali 2: Conclusion, another two and a half hour epic currently streaming on Netflix.
King Kong (2005)
Three Lord of the Rings films, including an Oscar from The Return of the King, bought carte blanche for Peter Jackson to do whatever he wants. He played out the passion project card in another risky fantasy: the mega-budget remake of King Kong from 1933, re-creating New York in the early 20th century with the same hand-crafted meticulousness in Middle-earth. About three hours later, King Kong is Jackson in his most indulgent image, with Depression-era vaudeville plots, jungle adventure plots featuring creatures, a multitude of Naomi Watts staring into Andy Serkis’s motion-captured eyes, and of course the grand Empire finale. State Building. While some viewers may prefer the kaiju-related hysteria of a movie like Kong: Skull Island, we’ll be patient with King Kong’s patient greatness, the fandom has evolved into a shocking Art Deco blockbuster for a lifetime.
Beauty and the Beast (2014)
This moody take on 18th century fantasy from Christophe Hans (Silent Hill) doesn’t include chanting tea cups or candelabra hanky punks (but if you really need to see a Disney remake directed by Emma Watson from last year, it’s also on Netflix) Instead, Hans lends an eerie shine to a novel of different kinds and maintains a French setting and the language of the story. As in the Disney version, Belle (Leah Seydoux) replaces her elderly father when the Beast (Vincent Cassel) demands a prisoner. Unlike the Disney version, Hans lets romance and magic whirl in the dark like a sparkling, luminous Faberge egg. Key – Kassel nailing the gentle growl of the Beast; in CG Fur and in several dream episodes, his conflicted prince inflates the sly stuff that has made the story of Beauty and the Beast troubled over the years. And his French accent … well, it really is magic in itself.
Pete’s Dragon (2016)
Ok, now for a real Disney movie. Moviegoers who grew up on the 1977 2D / live-action musical version of Pete’s Dragon may have brushed off this remake as a money grab at Mouse House, despite the film being discontinued with a total budget of $ 76 million. But fans of the classic Spielberg or the recent wave of Umblin-inspired comebacks will be delighted with this tale of a boy raised in the desert and an invisible dragon guarding his wild life from park rangers in the Pacific Northwest.Like ET or Iron Giant, director David Lowry (Ghost Story) mixes the gloomy chill of a small town with the warmth of stunning special effects. By filming the entire film on site, everything becomes so real that you never question the furry green giant protecting his best friend from social services and money hunters.
The Legend of the Naga Pearls (2017)
Set in the world of Novoland, the Chinese equivalent of Middle-earth, this daring action fantasy is a sweet cocktail blended with the classics Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Hellboy and Wuxia. The film follows an Aladdin-like thief, a prince and a female constable with a magical past who team up to protect the Naga pearls. Pearls are the key to the world-destroying super weapon known as the “Eye in the Sky” from the devilish descendant of the Winged Tribe, a tribe of people with … wings. The sound of the catchy material is offset by a bunch of creature makeup, expensive-looking sets, and all the tragedy of dark driving, making this a premier show for cartoon lovers on Saturday morning.
Trollhunter (2011)
American idlers investigate the Blair Witch; Norwegian bums explore the 50ft trolls. In The Autopsy of Jane Doe by André Ovredal, this fantastic comedy with footage traces a group of student directors who hunt down and prove the existence of their country’s legendary monsters. Øvredal combines the chaos in the natural document of the Discovery Channel with on-screen personalities to deliberately unfold a ride fantasy. Oh, and there are three-headed trolls. They are funny too.
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
Not all fantasy stories take place in distant lands – some come to life right in our courtyards.Based on Katherine Paterson’s classic novel “I” and veteran animation director Gabor Chupo (The Simpsons, aaaa! Real Monsters), Bridge to Terabithia finds two struggling 12-year-olds who return to an imaginary world to solve their problems. Their tree house becomes a castle. Their school bullies become tall trolls and rabid monster squirrels. And when anger, worry, and loss begin to bleed into their daily lives, every move through the forest stream becomes an adventure worthy of Narnia.Few films starring young guys face the challenges that Bridge to Terabithia puts on the table. Few young actors – in this case the famous versions of The Hunger Games by Josh Hutcherson and The Carrie Diaries by AnnaSophia Robb – are willing to grapple with these challenges.
Mojin: The Lost Legend (2015)
Nicolas Cage’s American historical film, History Treasure, is now available on Netflix, and this Chinese blockbuster, one of several films in Zhang Muye’s Phantom Light, would double as a relic hunt.Starting in the early 90s of Manhattan, where a trio of professional grave robbers retired from breaking into magical tombs and then jumped into Mongolia, where a deeply iconic leader lures the team back into business, the film has more to do with that. -and flip the antics of Monkey games than Indiana Jones’ dashing adventure. It’s packed full of zombies, puzzles and fluorescent fire traps that our heroes must escape to find their valuable MacGuffin. For a movie that basically turns into a circus version of hell, Mojin has a serious backbone (touching on everything from lost love to the Cultural Revolution) and actors who could go head-to-head with Nick Cage.
Solomon Kane (2012)
After years of sitting on a shelf, this widescreen take on the character turned from pulp into a punching bag for critics who saw it as cheap money from sword and sorcery in the Lord of the Rings style. To quote a British Puritan from the 1600s: no. No, I say. James Purefoy (Altered Carbon) is stoic and dexterous as the protagonist who fights dark magic all over the Earth until the inevitable moment when he must submit his soul to Satan. The Kidnapped Girl gives him the goal he needs to keep slicing and dicing the evil sorcerer Malachi’s minions, a spray that director Michael J. Bassett captures with ash cinematography and whirlwind swordsmanship.
Monster Hunt (2015)
This animation / live-action hybrid from director Raman Hui (Shrek the Third) is more fun than great. Today’s Chinese censorship laws basically prohibit magical elements from appearing in modern contexts, forcing fantasy films to either set action in ancient times or completely fictional worlds (which is why you see representations of both on this list). In addition, audiences are clearly hungry for what Hui does best: dumb, kinetic, soulful family films – which explains why Monster Hunt has grown into China’s biggest film of all time since its release in 2015. The film itself is like the co-animated DreamWorks animated film comes to life by telling this classic story of a man who is soaked by a queen of monsters and then flees to protect his radish baby. It’s a long way off, and as a business and cultural touchstone, it’s worth seeing.

Linked 90,000 Netflix Bought Gotham – Cotonauts
Episode Gotham will only start on September 22nd, and Netflix streaming video service has already bought it from FOX . The story about the most famous city in comics is one of the most anticipated and promising projects among the autumn premieres. Now Netflix has the right to broadcast in the United States and international markets, which takes effect immediately after the end of the broadcast of the season on the TV channel.
This is not the first time this service has purchased content. Netflix already owns the broadcasting rights to Better Call Saul, which is a prequel to Breaking Bad and will air in February 2015 on AMC . The second big purchase came last month when NBC drama Blacklist also became run by Netflix . In 2013, the service contracted with Warner Bros to broadcast several new television series, including the third season of Followers, which will air on Fox in the fall. And here’s another high-profile purchase, and again at Warner Bros, with which Netflix has a strong partnership. The uniqueness of this extreme deal is that Gotham hasn’t even been released yet.
Negotiations began immediately after the pilot’s test show in May. The amount of the deal, of course, is not advertised, but, according to the site Deadline , we are talking about $ 1.75 million for each episode. The “black list”, for example, cost $ 2 million.per episode. Over time, this influence of streaming media companies will only increase. It is more convenient for viewers to watch TV series not once a week, but several episodes at once, which increases the demand for Netflix and others. And demand is driving major studios to invest more heavily in serial dramas that go beyond just one season. Among services, the struggle for reruns of series is becoming the norm. The deal with Warner Bros will eliminate Gotham from competing platforms like Hulu and Amazon. The latter, by the way, entered into an agreement with HBO to show The Sopranos and other popular TV series.
Netflix is now actively expanding its customer base and has long-term plans for overseas markets. That is why the service spends large sums on original programs and other content. The Netflix expansion into France and Germany is being prepared, all against the backdrop of impressive profit growth (doubling in the first half of 2014).
16 episodes of Gotham will show the famous DC Comics city years before Batman appeared. The famous superhero in the new series is still a little boy who has lost his parents. The central character will be Police Captain Gordon, played by actor Benjamin Mackenzie . Of course, other iconic characters from the famous franchise will also appear in the series. Thus, a little less than three weeks remain before the premiere of a very promising project.

T-Mobile allows unlimited Netflix and that’s bad news for all of us
T-Mobile announced its new Binge On service as an extension of its “no middleman” movement.Binge On allows T-Mobile customers with limited data plans to continue streaming video from 24 different services – including Netflix, Hulu, and HBO GO – without using their limited data.
That’s right: unlimited video streaming from Netflix and other major video streaming apps. This sounds fantastic, but could it have more serious long-term implications for the future of the Internet, and how do we view streaming data?
It could very well.Let’s explore.
What Net Neutrality Really Means
Even though many people have explained in detail the nature of net neutrality – we’ve looked at how it works and why you should be concerned – many big public figures still don’t understand it.
At its core, Net Neutrality simply means that all data on the Internet must be handled the same way , that all kinds of data must be equally accessible and available at the same speed.Anyone with an Internet connection should be able to equally access any service on the Internet.
Net Neutrality proponents argue that this enables rapid innovation on the Internet, as new websites and services can be accessed just as easily as large existing players.
But since there are a few big players (like Netflix) that make up the majority of internet traffic, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) like Comcast would like to slow down Netflix.if they don’t pay. There is a fear among consumers and the FCC that these “fast lanes” for services like Netflix will create levels of internet accessibility – because where there is a fast channel, there is a slow one.
If ISPs could demand money from any website or service that wants to hit the high speed line, that would essentially eliminate all new competition and consumers would not have the option to vote with their wallets. You either use services purchased on the fast lane or suffer from the slow one.
This would make the Internet a less even playing field and rather the game of those who can most afford to pay providers for preferential treatment.
So far, Net Neutrality is winning, but the battle never ends, and in the mobile internet arena, the rules are a little grayer thanks to the so-called zero score.
Fast versus slow, limited versus no lid
Mobile data is a completely different beast from the Internet, delivered to your home via cable or fiber, while mobile connections are completely wireless. Therefore, it is customary for wireless carriers like AT&T and Verizon to limit their customers’ data plans and limit the bandwidth they can use.
Typically, this means anything you do on your phone that requires data will be subtracted from the specified data limit, but some wireless carriers have found a way around this in a practice known as zero score . A score of zero simply means that for some apps or services on your phone, the data they use doesn’t count towards your data limit.
So it is not exactly the same as the difference between fast and slow lanes, but the difference between a restricted and uncaped lane.
In the case of the new T-Mobile Binge On service, it does not technically violate any net neutrality rules. On the one hand, this has nothing to do with preferential speeds, and on the other hand, T-Mobile does not force these apps to pay additional fees to get into the unlimited lane. While this seems like a good thing, right?
But anything that dances on the brink of violating Net Neutrality deserves closer scrutiny, and this new T-Mobile announcement could be the start of a slippery slope.
This is how net neutrality dies
T-Mobile CEO John Leger insists the move does not compromise Net Neutrality, but again, as the leader of a company that will benefit from stepping on Net Neutrality’s toes, why not?
He points to the fact that Music Freedom, which is T-Mobile’s service that allows unlimited music streaming from certain apps, has been successful over the past year and hasn’t pulled out the competition because companies don’t have to pay to get into the program. …For the same reasons, he argues that there are no fast lanes because all data is at the same speed.
If you want, you can even turn off Binge On in your account settings and live exclusively with your limited data.
But what happens when T-Mobile Music Freedom and Binge On expand to include other apps like social apps or video games? What happens when any application or service can apply to avoid the restriction? Then what happens to limited data?
It is simply not possible to move everything to the unbounded lane, because that would make the data bounded plans obsolete. If plans without data weren’t problematic, T-Mobile would already be offering them. So what’s the point of T-Mobile in allowing the biggest data hogs to bypass data caps?
Yes. 1000 times yes. @chillmage about being cheated on. https://t.co/mRlYqFfh7f pic.twitter.com/0R7HVA55Na
– Joshua Topolsky (@joshuatopolsky) November 10, 2015
At some point, the evolution of T-Mobile’s plans would make apps and services in the “unlimited program” the norm, and anything else that still falls under limited data would be outsiders. In other words, T-Mobile will become the gatekeeper that checks which apps may have uncovered data, and they set requirements – for example, pay fees.
Combined with the ability to create even tighter data plans, this will give T-Mobile full control over which apps you end up using, and that’s enough for one company. Our Internet is safer without wireless operators to decide which apps and services we can use.
At heart, “booze” is ugly
Binge On has other limitations besides the great net neutralities. Some point out that streaming quality will be limited to “DVD quality,” or 480p, which Leger says looks good enough on phone screens. However, those with 1080p smartphones probably disagree.
This should help reduce the amount of data that Binge On generates on the T-Mobile network, but it could be a limiting factor for those accustomed to crystal-clear, high-definition Netflix streams.
In addition, Binge On has a primary video streaming service: YouTube.
Having recently announced YouTube Red – which might be a bad idea for other reasons – it’s clear that YouTube is trying to become more of a competitor to Netflix and Hulu by offering original content on a paid subscription model. So why isn’t it part of the Binge On program? This is doubtfully missing.
