If you have been hanging out with an interesting guy and you’re hoping that he likes you, it can be very exciting. It can also be a bit nerve-wracking if you’re having a tough time figuring out if he’s interested. You might find yourself wondering, “does he want to date me?” It isn’t always easy to determine if he wants to take you out or if he’s looking for a friend. You should look out for some signs that will help you know whether or not he’s interested, though.

He Makes A Lot Of Eye Contact

When men are interested in someone romantically, they tend to show it with their eyes. You might notice that the guy in your life is making a lot of eye contact with you. Do you notice him looking at you sometimes from across the room? That’s a sign that he is fond of you. He might not have explicitly stated that he is interested yet, but his eyes give you a clear indication that he is attracted to you.

Body Language

Body language is another thing that you can turn to when you’re trying to determine if a guy is interested in you. Does the man in question sometimes act a bit nervous around you? He might be flustered because he is interested, and he doesn’t want to screw things up or look like a fool when he’s hanging out with you. Nervous body language can signify someone has a crush on you, but so can confident body language.

You might notice that he always leans in to talk to you or that he seems to stand rather close to you during conversations. Please pay attention to how he acts and the things that he does when you’re near. It might be able to help you realize that he is into you. Some guys just don’t come out and say it right away.

He Always Seems To Smile When You’re Around

When a man is in love, he will often have a smile on his face. Does he seem to light up when you’re in the room? He might smile a lot when you’re together, which certainly shows that he enjoys your company. If you can combine this sign with some of the others, then you’ll be able to say that he seems to like you confidently. It isn’t easy to conceal when you have feelings for someone, and his smile might be one of the first things you notice that tells you that he might want to date you.

You’ve Been Introduced To His Social Circle.

Being introduced to his social circle is a big sign that he wants you to be a part of his life. Many people think of this as a big step in a relationship. Once you have been introduced to his people, you’re going to feel like more of a part of his life. Even if he hasn’t come out and said that he wants to date you, it’s clear that he is working up to something. The only time this isn’t an indication of interest is when you’ve already been friends for a long time or you have mutual friends already.

If this guy is your co-worker or someone you just met at the gym, this is a definite sign that he wants to date. He might be trying to see how you will fit in with his life and the other people he finds important. It could be getting closer to the time when he actually will ask you out. Just be prepared for the moment, and don’t be afraid to let him know if you’re interested. There is no formal rule that says that a woman can’t make the first move, after all.

He spends A Lot Of Time With You.

When a guy goes out of his way to spend a lot of time with you, it’s a big sign that he’s interested in you. Sure, this could also be an indication that he enjoys being your friend. Just try to think about things in the right context. Does this guy spend as much time with his other friends as he does with you? Also, would he cancel other plans or do the same things with you with people he is only friends with?

Source: rawpixel.com

There is a good chance that the man in your life is interested in dating you if he seems to be putting a lot of effort into seeing you. If he only gets one or two days off per week and he chooses to spend them around you, then that’s a clear sign. He might just be working up the courage to make his romantic intentions clear. It’s also possible that he might be hoping that you take the hint and start giving him some signs as well.

Playful Teasing

It isn’t strange at all for people to tease each other when they’re friends. When a guy is interested in a girl, you might notice that the playful teasing will become a bit flirty. Examples of this include name-calling, physical pranks, and other seemingly silly things. Some of this teasing might be an excuse to get closer to you or to try to make you smile. Either way, it’s an indication that he enjoys being around you and wants you to interact with him.

Compliments

Men who are interested in you might also make it a point to compliment you. It isn’t too unusual to get a compliment from co-workers or friends here and there. However, if the guy in question always seems to compliment you and tell you how pretty you are, then there is a reason for that. He might be trying to let you know that he feels something for you and is hoping that you’ll notice.

Guys can compliment more than just your looks, too. You might hear him compliment how smart you are or how good your sense of humor is. What the compliment, it doesn’t necessarily matter. The sign is that he is taking the time to compliment you fairly regularly. Some compliments will be a more obvious sign of romantic interest than others, but even seemingly innocuous ones could indicate his amorous intentions.

He Pays Attention To You And Remembers Your Conversations

This might seem a bit weird at first, but not every guy will remember the little details of conversations that they have with you. Most people remember bits and pieces, but unless you’re truly engaged in the conversation, it’s going to be easy to forget details. If the guy that you’re interested in seems always to remember things about you, then it’s because he is paying close attention to you. He’s interested in you if he seems to remember what you say and is always actively engaged during your talks.

You might have told him your favorite movie, and he will then go out of his way to quote it. Maybe you mentioned that you like a certain type of candy, so he decides to bring you some the next time you hang out. It could even be something like remembering to ask how your mom was when you said she had a cold. These are simply signs that he is attentive and cares about what is going on in your life. Chances are, he’s interested in dating you.

Touching

Touching is also something that can show you that a guy is interested in you. When a guy seems to try to touch you all the time, it’s going to be pretty clear that he has feelings for you. Of course, this shouldn’t be an inappropriate type of touching. If a man is doing something to make you feel uncomfortable, you shouldn’t hesitate to help. The type of touching being referred to here is a bit more tame, such as touching your hand or being playful in some way.

Making Up Excuses To Be Together

Has this guy been making up excuses so that you can spend more time together? For example, he might be very smart and academically gifted but will still ask you for help studying. You know he doesn’t need to study, but he wants you to come over anyway. He also probably doesn’t need help shopping but might ask you to come along. Little signals like these show that he wants to get more of your time.

He’ll Probably Ask You Out Soon.

If you have noticed several of the signs listed above, then it’s likely that this guy will ask you out soon. Remember that some men are shy and might need some encouragement. Not everyone has the confidence that it is necessary to ask a girl out. If you like this guy and want this potential relationship to work out, don’t be afraid to clear your interest.

You could even muster the courage to ask him out instead. It might be more traditional to let the guy make the first move, but it isn’t necessary to go this route. You can take the initiative if you want to get the ball rolling. Think about what you want to do and then go for it. It’s possible that your relationship with this man could be great, so don’t hesitate to make a move if you want it to happen.

Online Couples Counseling Will Always Be There

If you wind up getting together with the guy you’re interested in, it’ll give you peace of mind to know that you’ll have support. Many couples need assistance when they’re trying to take things to the next level. If you ever reach a point in your relationship where you’re worried that you might have issues, then you can reach out to online couples counselors to get help. They can assist you by helping you to work through issues while teaching you how to develop a stronger bond as a couple.

You can count on dedicated professionals like this when you need a bit of help. Whether you have significant relationship issues or if you’re looking for guidance, this is going to be beneficial. Best of all, it’s very easy to make use of online couples counseling. You’ll be able to get help without even having to leave your house. It’s even possible to get individual counseling if you have some personal issues that you would like to address.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

How do you know if he is interested?

·         He contacts you first

If a man wants you, he’ll always feel the need to reach out to you first. Men are natural go-getters, and they go for anything that catches their fancies.

· He’s always spent time with you

When you see him all smiley in your presence with an eagerness to spend time with you, it is a strong sign that he’s interested in you. Men incline towards the object of their attractions, and the opposite is also true.

·         He factors you into his plans

When you notice that he starts planning his life and future endeavors around you, then you don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that he is interested in you.

Another sign as a friend he’s is interested in you is when he opens up to you and cares for your needs.

Is he just flirting or interested?

There are certain ways to ascertain if a man is randomly flirting with you or if he has a strong interest in you.

So, you met this cute and polished young man whom you seem to get along with effortlessly. During your conversation with him, he revealed to you that he is single. This is a strong sign he’s interested in you.

Your outing with him eventually came to an end, and when it was time to say goodbye, he rests his arm on your bum or lower back, then he is most probably flirty. Studies have shown that flirting is a major part of nonverbal communication among men of all sexual orientations. If he hugs you and makes profound body contact so that he rocks you in a slightly sexual manner, this is a sign that he’s interested in flirting with you.

How can you tell if a guy is definitely interested in you?

A man leverages on the slightest opportunity to touch a woman that appeals to him. To him, it is like a surge of electricity that awakens his desires.

·         He asks tons of questions

If a man finds a woman interesting, he almost certainly adopts a quizzical conversation mode when he is with her. Most times, he is seeking what he shares in common with her. This shows that he’s definitely interested in you.

·         He gives you maximum attention

One sign he likes you is if he leaves any activity that he’s been doing to you, give you the utmost attention.

·         You’re the only one that makes him act like this

When he likes a woman, a man tends to behave in a certain way that ultimately betrays his affections. And only the woman seems to make him act like this.

How do you tell if he’s not into you?

  • It takes a while before he replies to your texts.

When he replies to your texts hours or days later, then it is a sign that he no longer finds you interesting.

·         It’s always you attempting to see him

If he doesn’t take the initiative to see you, then you are most probably dating yourself. His heart is no longer with you.

·         He does not attempt to impress you

It is indeed a sign that all is not going well with your relationship if your man has lost the desire to impress you. If he no longer surprises you with fancy gifts or takes you out, as usual, it is time to think twice about your relationship.

·         He wants to keep things relaxed

It is a big deal when he decides to be exclusive with you, and it does not happen almost immediately. He doesn’t seem to love you anymore. You may schedule a talk with him if you’re interested in the continuance of the relationship or know when to call things off with him.

How can you tell if he’s not interested?

·         Your gut instinct tells you

Nothing feels right anymore. You’re so unsure, and you feel insecure, and this is unlike you. He’s not interested or has probably lost the flavor he had when he first met you.

·         He’s not as fascinated by what you’re going to say

One of the reasons why you fell for him was because of his keen attention-paying skills. But right now, he doesn’t seem to care anymore.  There’s a good chance that he isn’t interested anymore.

·         He does not initiate

Did he normally like to take you out but right now, that flame appears to have been quenched? It is a sign that he is gradually losing the steam and isn’t interested in you anymore.

·         He does not make you a priority

Suddenly, it now all about work and meetings – he’s to catch up with his colleagues – he’s to visit the gym – he’s making every other thing a priority, but not you! Men don’t make people/things that don’t interest them the center of their world.

How do you tell if a guy is confused about his feelings for you?

1. His actions towards you is contradictory

He cycles between different modes if he likes you. Most times, his happens because he is fighting the deep-seated feelings he has for you. And when he specially treats you, it is a sign he likes you.

2. He is constantly staring at you

If he is interested in your look and actions, he may be lost staring at you for a while. And surprisingly, his stare does not look so stalkerish or creepy. It is laced with affection and endearment. This means he’s in love with you.

4. He becomes envious of other guys

Becoming jealous is a telltale that he has a romantic interest in you. Even if he’s making attempts to hide the actual way he feels about you from you, he may do a poor job controlling his facial expressions and actions if some other man is in the picture. This is one of the signs he likes you.

6. He uses every opportunity to converse with you

Getting random messages and calls from a man can be clear-cut evidence of his interest in you. Normally, he begins by asking simple and apparently guiltless questions to have a conversation with you. And if he spends time always repeating the process, that part of the signs he likes you.

Why do guys push you away when they like you?

  1. He is falling in love with you.

If a man is deeply falling in love with you, the thought of entering a relationship with you becomes very appealing to him. But the passions that it features may be hard for him to wrap around his head because he’s attracted to you.

  1. He is worried about the commitment.

He is not the first man to become frightened of becoming entangled in the stringent demands of a committed relationship. He may also be the type that is not used to committing to just one person. Either way, he shies away from total commitment with you, which means he has issues in that area.

  1. He is unsure of his next line of action.

If he is skeptical of love or is still confused about your feelings, he may be burdened with the thought that you would soon say goodbye. So, his coping mechanism may be to pull away from the looming sadness he will feel when you decline his love advances. Like women, men desire the reciprocity of their affections too.

What goes through a man’s mind when he’s falling in love?

·

You become central to his thoughts

You’ll be a dominant part of his thoughts if he loves you. He spends time processing the affections he has for you, and this can affect his overall productivity.

·

He feels a rush of energy

When your man is in love with you, he feels a profound sense of aliveness. A man will feel a sudden rush of pure energy when thinking about or around a woman he’s attracted to.

·

He scrutinizes your actions!

Have you ever felt that he’s over-analyzing or studying your text messages or actions? He’s certainly not alone in this, and it is not obsessive or crazy. Most people in love pay more than the needed attention to even the tiniest details.

·

He makes you his priority

Alright, this seems to be a huge one. So, prepare yourself because he’ll be unrelenting and adamant about keeping you at the center of his world. Men don’t go for what they don’t cherish, and if he is relentlessly pursuing you, he certainly loves you.

Falling in love can be an overwhelming experience, but research shows that this feeling can be regulated.

How do you know if a guy loves you but is scared?

·

You catch him stealing a stare

Catching him stealing stares at you when he suspects that he’ll get away with it is an unambiguous sign that he loves you even though he may act as if he isn’t interested in you. When he stares at you while you are busy with something because he feels you wouldn’t become aware of his gaze, he’s definitely interested in you.

·

He discusses you with all his friends

If he never ceases to make you a hot topic when he is around his friend, he’s in love with you. When he keeps your relationship status away from his family and friends, he’s not fully invested or committed to the relationship.

·

Your presence makes him nervous

It doesn’t matter how sure of himself he is around his family, friends, and strangers; a man; ao is truly in love with you will act somewhat nervous in your presence, which is different from how he’ll act another person.

39 clear signs he wants to date you exclusively

Things seem to be going well, but how serious is it for him?

Moving from dating into being exclusive can be a confusing time and you want to know where you stand.

If you want to know if he’s only dating you or still seeing other people, here are 39 strong signs he wants to be exclusive.

1) He makes plans and dates well in advance

A big sign that he is in the headspace for something long term with you is if he’s making plans together for the future.

Whether that’s a music festival this summer, a trip you might go on next month, or even something as silly as having a weekly watch party together for the new season of your fave TV show.

Rather than taking each date one at a time, he is sure he likes you enough to assume that he’s going to still be in the picture weeks or months down the line.

2) He isn’t dragging around any relationship baggage

If he has fully processed and moved on from any past relationships, he is more likely to be in a better place to progress something with you.

Hopefully, there aren’t any exes still looming large in the background or he hasn’t just got out of something serious.

When someone has unresolved romantic encounters that could get in the way, they may not be in the best position to settle down again yet.

3) You connect on a deeper level

What gives relationship longevity goes beyond the superficial. It’s about finding someone whose core values and way of thinking matches up with ours.

It’s great to have lots of little things in common but if underneath, all that you also have the same approach to life, it’s an indication of a potentially deeper bond.

4) He wants you to meet his family

No doubt about it, meeting the family is a big deal.

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

As relationship expert and author Susan Winter puts it:

“Gaining access to your SO’s inner circle is a mark of their commitment.

Meeting the mom has long been held as a relationship milestone.

Most of us are understandably mindful about who we share our most intimate connections with and it doesn’t get much closer than family.

5) He’s introduced you to his friends

If he is happy for you to meet his friends, it shows that he is allowing you into another layer of his own little world.

Exposing you to other people in his life means he will have to answer questions and offer up explanations about exactly who you are.

If you were just a random girl that he was dating, he is less likely to make an effort to show you off or introduce you to people.

6) He asks questions to really get to know you better

Does he seem genuinely curious to learn more about you?

We don’t usually make the effort to really get to know someone if we’re not envisaging it going anywhere.

So if he is asking questions to discover what you like and don’t like or asking about your hopes and dreams for the future — it suggests he is interested in you and wants it to be more than just casual.

7) He makes time for you

Even when you are a busy person, the reality is that we make room in life for what we consider are our priorities.

If he makes time for you in his schedule, no matter what else is going on, he is showing you that you take precedence.

If other commitments are always getting in the way — whether that’s work, family, friends or hobbies — it might signal he doesn’t see your time together as that serious.

QUIZ: Does he really love you? My fun new Zodiac quiz can help you figure it out, based on his Zodiac sign. Check it out here.

8) He tells you how he feels

It’s true that actions often speak louder than words and not everybody is comfortable with saying outright how they are feeling — especially when dealing with vulnerable matters of the heart.

It’s also not always the case that you even need to have a specific conversation about whether you are exclusive or not.

I have literally never had that conversation but I’ve been in several very serious cohabiting relationships. We just knew we were on the same page (by ticking a lot of the other obvious signs on this list).

Having said that, words obviously do play an important part in communication when we’re dating. If you feel doubtful about the status of your relationship you should always be able to ask.

He should also leave you feeling secure with the things he is saying to you, that proves to you that he is invested.

9) The fact you’re dating is common knowledge

If every man and his dog knows you two are an item, he clearly isn’t making any attempts to hide your blossoming romance.

If he had lots of other women on the go at the same time, he is likely to be a little bit more discreet about things. But if it’s common knowledge that you are dating and that’s fine by him, it’s a good sign he is happy to be exclusive.

10) He doesn’t try and hide anything from you

Other women he’s in communication with, how he spent last weekend, or what he was up to on that Friday night out with the boys — if he’s totally transparent, it’s probably because he has nothing to hide.

It bodes well if he’s an open book and completely comfortable with divulging all aspects of his life to you.

On the other hand, if he’s behaving a bit like a secret agent, he could be doing things he would rather you didn’t know about — including seeing other people.

11) He’s consistent with his attention

This is a biggie, as any guy who runs hot and cold is clearly holding back in some way.

We shouldn’t get whiplash from a relationship, never knowing if we are coming or going. If he is full-on one week but then goes MIA on you the next, other women could be in the picture.

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

But if he has shown you attention from the start and that has never wavered, it is a clear sign that he thinks a lot of you (and not only when he is bored, lonely or looking for some attention).

12) He isn’t playing games

Whereas women may be more inclined to let a guy woo her, men are more used to having to chase a girl.

That means that if he wants you, he’ll usually let you know — he will call you, he will pursue you, he will compliment you, he will make time for you.

There won’t be any games or pulling away from you, he will be clear with his intentions with both his actions and words.

If a guy really does want a serious relationship with you, he is unlikely to leave you guessing.

13) You feature on his social media

It’s less trivial than it may sound. Let’s face it, in the digital age our social media profiles play a significant role in our dating lives.

Whether that’s finding dates through Instagram, adding someone on Snapchat or daring to send a friend request to the hot person we’re interested in.

The image we present to the outside world through our social profiles matters to us.

If he’s showing you off online by posting pictures of the two of you, checking in with you at places, or tagging you in his posts, it’s safe to say you’re not “just another girl”.

14) You get an invite on holidays or special occasions

We don’t invite just anyone to our cousin’s wedding or over for Thanksgiving. Not all days of the year are created equal.

There are certain marks on the calendar that just hold more social significance and so it’s a bigger deal to make plans together on these occasions.

15) He contacts you every day

If you are speaking pretty much every day, even if it’s still early days, it’s a good sign that everything is going in the right direction.

QUIZ: Does he really love you? My fun new Zodiac quiz can help you figure it out, based on his Zodiac sign. Check it out here.

One thing to consider is whether he is driving that communication or if it’s at least equal between you.

If he is reaching out to you every day and not simply replying to messages that you are sending him, it’s a good sign he could want you to be his girlfriend.

16) You go on real dates

Ok, what technically counts as a “real date” may be difficult to define, as it depends on what you both enjoy doing.

What I mean by this is that it’s not just late-night Netflix and chilling.

He makes an effort to do things in the day, to go places together and come up with creative or unique dates. The amount of effort he puts into your dates is likely to be a direct correlation to how invested he is.

17) He’s been fishing for whether you are seeing anyone else

Any sign of the little green-eyed monster is a good indication that he wants you all to himself.

If he’s been asking questions about if you are dating any other guys, he clearly has a vested interest in finding out.

We tend not to get jealous unless we care.

18) You’re not getting any red flags

This sign may be more subtle but it’s really important.

After all, dating is an art not a science and it’s not as simple as there being a certain number of dates you have before becoming exclusive. Often you just sense when things are progressing to the next level.

You know when he is on the same page as you and you also have a feeling when something is a bit suss.

If we’re honest, in hindsight when we look back on failed romances — we usually knew deep down it wasn’t quite right. There may have been a few bad signs that we chose to overlook because we didn’t want to see them.

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

If there aren’t any alarm bells ringing and your intuition is telling you that he wants to be your boyfriend, then it’s telling you that his behaviour doesn’t give you any cause for concern.

19) He makes an effort for you

Often it’s the simple things that are the strongest indicators of whether he wants to be exclusive.

Little gestures and displays of affection can mean a lot.

If you can tell that he makes an effort for you — rather than just coasting along putting in the minimum energy he can get away with — he clearly cares and sees this going somewhere.

20) He pays attention to what you say and do

Admittedly, some of us do have terrible memories and being forgetful certainly doesn’t mean we don’t give a damn — but paying attention to what you say and do is a really good sign.

If he remembers the stories you have told him, he knows when your birthday is, and all about the office politics you gave him the full lowdown on — he is clearly making an effort to understand your world.

21) He picks up the check

Of course, we live in modern societies where women are equal, but when he really likes you, he usually wants to display some old fashioned gentlemanly behaviour.

Taking care of you is all part of his biological hero instinct (wanting to be seen as a hero in the eyes of the woman he’s attracted to).

An ex-boyfriend once admitted to me that when he really likes a girl, he will insist on paying on a date. If he is less interested, he won’t.

Of course, that doesn’t mean all men think this way, but if he never wants to put his hand in his pocket for you, it could be a sign he’s less bothered about impressing you.

22) He understands you

Sure, there are plenty of people who we get on fine enough with, but our strongest bonds are formed when we just totally click with another person. They get us without us even needing to explain.

It’s like they are speaking our language and communication just feels effortless.

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

23) He’s committing to you

One step further from just having chats about future plans together, is actually committing to them.

You put a deposit down on a winter vacay or you’ve got your name on the waiting list for a local hotspot that it takes months to get a table at. The more he takes steps to blend his life with yours, the more of a sign it is that he is ready to be exclusive.

24) He’s not putting pressure on you to jump into bed

How do you tell if a guy is serious about a relationship?

If you are one of many or he’s only looking for a hookup, he is unlikely to be patient about taking things slow.

Of course, when two consenting adults decide to have sex is a totally personal choice, with no fixed timetable or rights and wrongs.

But if he is happy to hold off on the physical side until you feel ready and wants to get to know each other first, then he clearly respects your wishes and thinks you are worth it.

25) He’s affectionate in public

Not everyone is into public displays of affection but if he is happy to hold your hand in the street or give you a kiss when you’re out, it’s certainly a good sign.

It means he’s not trying to hide how he feels, he is comfortable around you and he’s not worrying about anyone else seeing.

If he were dating other people, you would expect him to be a bit more guarded about showing intimacy when you are out and about.

26) He tells you he is looking for a relationship

Most of us have fallen foul of the “right person, wrong timing” trap at some point.

Where they’re at in life and what they want right now plays a big part in whether dating them is likely to become exclusive or not.

This is backed up by research that found a higher degree of readiness was associated with higher commitment to a relationship.

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

If he has said that he is generally looking for a committed relationship, there’s a better chance it will happen with you.

27) He leaves things at your place

Even if it was by accident at first, if he isn’t in any rush to collect whatever he left at your place, it means he is expecting plenty of opportunities to be there again.

If he has been increasingly leaving more and more of his stuff on purpose or even suggested it’s a good idea to keep a toothbrush at yours — it’s a clear signal you are heading towards #relationshipville.

28) Having your first fight didn’t scare him off

We all know that romances aren’t always a bed of roses.

Occasional disagreements and conflict are natural. If you have had your first lovers tiff and resolved things, it shows he is willing to put the work in. He hasn’t gone running for the hills at the first sign of trouble.

It’s easy to be there for the good times, so if your man has shown you he will stick around for the challenges too — it indicates he is ready for a more serious relationship with you.

29) He’s reliable

If a guy can be relied upon to do what he says he will, then it shows he respects you.

Needing to change plans every now and again is understandable but flaking on you often is clearly not cool.

If you can trust him to be true to his word and wouldn’t hesitate to call on him in your hour of need, then he’s showing you that he’s a keeper.

30) He asks for your advice and opinions

If he cares about you and sees a future with you, he’s going to care what you think.

So if he is turning to you for advice or asking your opinion on things in his life, it is because he values what you have to say.

Asking what you want and think shows that he trusts your judgement and perspective.

31) He wants to be involved in your life

It’s not just whether he introduces you to his family and friends, if he’s taking an interest in yours too that’s just as significant.

If he’s down for getting to know your friends, happy to come along to that boring work function and is keen to meet your folks — this is time, energy and effort you are unlikely to put in for just any girl you’re dating.

32) He only has eyes for you

It’s unrealistic to expect us to never even notice another attractive person again as soon as we become loved up. But at the same time, especially at the beginning of a relationship when we’re smitten, we tend to only have eyes for that special person.

If he’s not having his head turned in the street or chatting up the waitress when you go out for dinner, it at least signals that he’s not on the lookout.

If his attention and eyes are on you alone when you’re out, then it shows being with you is his priority.

33) He’s deleted his dating apps

Looking for a sign he wants to be exclusive? Then be sure to listen out for the ping of a Tinder notification.

If he has taken down all of his online dating profiles, it’s a really good sign he is ready to be a one-woman man. It tells you that he’s not keeping his options open, chatting to other girls or in the market for hookups.

Making it clear that he has deleted his dating apps is a way of letting you know that right now he is interested in you and only you.

34) He goes above and beyond for you

If he’s prepared to push his comfort zone for you or do things he wouldn’t normally, you clearly mean a lot to him.

Maybe he usually avoids parties like the plague but still agrees to go to your friend’s birthday. Perhaps despite being hopeless in the kitchen, he goes out of his way to prepare you a meal.

If he is willing to go places he ordinarily wouldn’t, it’s because he knows you will enjoy it and wants to make you happy.

35) His body language tells you

Body language is powerful and guys give away lots of telltale signs with it (like walking on the outside of you to protect you).

QUIZ: What does your man want from you? My fun new quiz will reveal what he REALLY wants – based on his Zodiac sign! Take my quiz here.

Psychological studies have shown that maintaining constant eye contact whilst talking to you is a stronger sign he wants to be exclusive.

If he leans towards you when you talk, raises his eyebrows when you are speaking, constantly has a big smile on his face and finds lots of excuses to touch you — these are all big ticks.

As weird as it may sound, even whether he points his feet towards you actually says a lot.

As body language expert Patti Wood explains:

“Because the feet are involved in the fight-or-flight response that kicks in when you’re in danger, they’re largely controlled by the unconscious mind — and can be very telling in social interactions. The feet tend to point where the heart wants to go.”

36) He consults you about his plans

The guys have asked him to go away next weekend on a trip, and he just wanted to let you know.

If he is keeping you in the loop or asking for the green light when it comes to his plans, you know that you are a valued part of his life.

It means he is no longer thinking in terms of “me” and is thinking more as a “we”.

37) He’s on his best behaviour around your people

We can always tell when someone is laying on the charm.

If he goes out of his way to present his very best self whenever he is around your friends or family, he clearly cares what they think of him.

The reason for that is he cares what you think and so wants to impress important people in your life — he wouldn’t bother if he wasn’t thinking of a relationship with you.

38) He says he isn’t seeing anyone else

If he goes out of his way to bring it up in conversation that he isn’t dating any other women, then it’s no accident.

He wants to reassure you that there is no one else on the scene, which strongly suggests he is looking to date you exclusively.

This is the green light to openly discuss your dating goals and relationship future together.

39) He opens up to you

There may be a bit of a gender gap when it comes to emotional expression — so if he feels comfortable enough to open up to you, it’s a sign of how important you are to him.

If he is prepared to be intimate with you and share private details or even secrets about his life, it shows he trusts you and is letting you in.

Most of us don’t do that with just anyone we’re dating, so it signals that he sees what you have together as something more exclusive.

14 Obvious Signs He Wants To Date You And Make It Official

Sometimes men have difficulty showing how they genuinely feel about you. If you’re wondering whether or not he’s serious about you, then you should pay attention to the signs he wants to date you.

It’s a real lifesaver to know when a guy is a player and when he’s a real man who wants to have a serious and long-lasting relationship.

Many women make the mistake of expressing their feelings for a man, only to find out he never actually wanted to date them. And driven by their past experiences, they then build up walls around them and have a hard time opening up to a real man.

That’s why it’s important not to miss out on the signs he wants to date you.

In today’s dating world, too many men want to have a purely physical relationship. They’re too afraid to open up to anyone, so that’s why so many aren’t looking for anything serious and instead go for casual relationships.

Everybody pretty much knows the drill by now. He texts you frequently, dropping clues that he’s really into you, he’s thoughtful and kind too. So you’re wondering how long it’ll be before he pops the question and asks you out.

There are two outcomes if you’re going through this. He’s either going to ask you on a date because he’s really into you and wants a serious relationship with you, or he just wants to get you into the bedroom and after that disappear as if nothing ever happened.

So, you start looking for signs he wants to date you.

Given the fact that you’re reading this right now, I’m assuming that you want something serious with him but are wondering if your intentions and wishes are mutual.

Don’t think that it’s uncommon to be confused when trying to decipher what the other person feels for you. It’s totally normal to feel lost in today’s modern dating because there are so many things that you can misinterpret, drawing all the wrong conclusions.

I know that you’re into him, and you spend all your free time fantasizing about your perfect date with him. You patiently wait for him to make the first move because it’s a man’s duty to do so. And luckily for you, there are a lot of signs he wants to date you, you just have to pay close attention to them.

Sometimes, when you’re head over heels for someone, you miss out on those obvious signs telling you that the other person is really into you.

But as we know, guys have a tough time showing their emotions to the opposite sex.

Why? Because they’re just that bad at it. They don’t lack emotions altogether, it’s just that they don’t know how to express them properly.

Research has proven that men actually suppress their feelings from a very young age. They’re taught that being “manly” means that you can’t show how you truly feel.

While this proves to be beneficial when avoiding being teased at school, it certainly doesn’t do them any favors when it comes to dating women.

You have a hard time deciphering his intentions since he shoves his feelings deep down inside him. But good news for you – he can’t hide all the signs he wants to date you.

14 signs he wants to date you

I’ll be honest with you and say that it won’t be easy at first. But, after a while, you’ll start picking up those hints fairly easily.

1. He’s eager to introduce you to his family and friends

The thing about men is that they have a close circle of people that they can trust. They won’t introduce just any girl they meet to their close ones.

That’s why an obvious sign he wants to date you is when he’s eager to introduce you to his family and friends.

Picture this. You’re texting this guy for a while and you’ve really connected with him on a deeper level.

You’ve met up a couple of times, but you’re still unsure whether or not he wants to date you exclusively. So, out of the blue, he asks you, “Would you like to meet up with me and my mom for coffee?”

Do you really think that a man would introduce you to his friends or family if he wasn’t serious about you?

If he wanted to have something more casual with you, he wouldn’t bother taking you to his home so you can meet his mother and father. He wouldn’t even bother introducing you to his friends.

So, if he does that, then you know he wants to date you exclusively.

He’s mesmerized by you, so he can’t help but want the rest of his crew to finally meet you.

2. He displays positive body language

Wondering whether or not the guy you’re into wants to date you exclusively? If so, then take a closer look at his body language. Try to notice those subtle hints that tell you more about his feelings for you than he ever could with words.

The thing about body language is that it’s connected to your subconscious. That means that it’s almost impossible to control.

So next time you get the chance to sit with him and talk, notice how he looks you in the eyes. Why? Because that’s a strong indicator that he’s into you and he’s actively listening to what you have to say.

He won’t have any problems with prolonged eye contact since he’s telling you the truth. He has nothing to hide from you.

Another strong body language sign that shows he wants to date you is when he points his feet or body in your direction.

It might sound silly at first, but his subconscious is telling him to do so because he’s genuinely attracted to you. And you can be sure that he’ll continue doing so until he finds the right moment to ask you out.

On the other hand, if you have noticed that his feet are pointed somewhere else while talking to you, that means he’s not that interested in dating you. He would rather be somewhere else than with you.

3. He gives you all of his attention

The fact remains, there are millions of women out there, but for him, you’re the only one he wants. And how do you know that? Well, if he gives you all of his attention, then it means you’re one in a million to him.

He’ll devote his time and make an effort to know what you’re up to and how you’re doing. He won’t pay attention to any other girl around him except for you. He’ll have his eyes locked on you.

He’ll do everything he can to make time for you because he enjoys talking to you for hours and his eyes won’t stray to any other girl because he believes you’re the most gorgeous woman on earth.

If you have any doubts about his feelings and intentions, check if he gives you all of his attention. If he does, then this guy has fallen hard for you.

You know how difficult it is to give that much attention to someone, but he does so because he wants to date you exclusively.

4. He showers you with compliments

Everyone enjoys being complimented, especially women. For men, compliments are their way of expressing their emotions for a girl. They don’t do it often, so when he does, you can be sure that he’s really into you.

And if you’re looking for an obvious sign he wants to date you, ask yourself this: Does he pay you compliments about your interests or personality?

If your answer is yes, then he’s more than ready to date you. He won’t do it unless he means serious business with you.

He just hasn’t admitted it yet because he doesn’t know any other way of expressing his feelings for you. That’s why he showers you with compliments.

On the other hand, if the guy doesn’t do that, then you know he’s not really that into you. He won’t bother to flatter someone unless he wants to seriously date them.

5. He tells a lot of jokes around you

Every man and woman wants their partner to have a great sense of humor. That’s something that all of us look for when trying to find our true love. And this guy is no exception.

If he tells a lot of jokes when he’s around you, then you know for sure he wants to date you. How can you know that? Well, he’s making a fool of himself because he wants to see you smile. He needs to know that he can make you laugh.

That’s his mission – to make you laugh so that he can see you’re happy when you’re with him.

It’s probably one of the biggest signs that he wants to date you, so watch out for it.

It could be that he is just a naturally funny guy, but if you see that his only mission is to bring a smile to your face, then you know he doesn’t want any other woman except you.

6. He calls and texts you first

Usually, guys don’t call or text that often.

They don’t like interacting in such a way and rather prefer face-to-face conversations. But a guy who wants to date you exclusively will definitely go out of his way to be the first to call and text.

Even if he has a lot of work on his plate, he’ll still manage to find time to send you a text message.

It may be something as simple as “How are you? How’s your day been so far?” or something a little more serious like “What are you doing after work?”

It’s sometimes tough to decipher a man’s feelings just by observing whether or not he sends you texts first. But if you notice any other signs in addition to this, then you can be sure he wants to date you.

If he’s avoiding texting or calling you, then he might be a commitment-phobe. Those types of men will only text you when it’s convenient for them.

He’ll call you at strange hours proposing that you come over to him and if he does that then you know he’s only interested in getting you in the bedroom.

But if he spends that much time texting or calling you first, well that speaks for itself. It means that you’re the sole focus in his life and that he prioritizes you over everyone else.

7. He’s always there when you need him

Immature boys who don’t seek true love will only be there when it suits them.

On the other hand, a real man who’s genuinely interested in you and wants to date you will make sure to be there for you when you need him, especially if you need his help.

A real man knows that he needs to take care of the woman he’s interested in. He’ll not make any excuses for why he didn’t come because he won’t do that to you, ever.

He knows that if he wants to date you, he needs to be there for you when something really important happens to you.

If you see that he’s available to you whenever you need him, no matter when you text or call him, then you know he’s really into you and wants to date you.

He’s real boyfriend material because he’s genuinely interested in being a part of your life.

He prioritizes you, so that’s why he’ll make a point to be there for you.

8. He won’t play any mind games

Some men play the hard-to-get card because they think they’ll win the girl’s heart that way. They do it with the sole purpose of getting the girl’s attention and showing her that if she wants to be with him, she needs to work for it.

Those types of men are cowards who haven’t emotionally grown up yet.

On the other hand, there are men who can’t stand playing any mind games when it comes to love and dating. Such men are real boyfriend material because they are real men.

Such men don’t have any problems looking straight into your eyes and telling you how they feel about you. They’ll apologize when they do something wrong and they’re always there for you.

If he fits this profile, then he definitely wants to date you.

However, the same applies to you. Don’t play needless mind games, making him wait for your reply.

Don’t count the hours before sending him a text message. And don’t stalk him on his social media, only to act disinterested when you’re around him.

If he’s putting in the effort to prove to you that he wants to date you, then he’s definitely worthy of your time. He’ll always treat you like a real princess and he’ll prioritize your emotions and needs above his.

You won’t have to worry that he’s commitment-phobe or if he’ll do anything behind your back. Such a man isn’t a player for sure.

9. He invites you to tag along with him

I know what you’re thinking when I say this, but this doesn’t mean that he wants you to hang out alone with him. He’s just inviting you to join him to hang out with his friends.

He uses this opportunity to see if the two of you are compatible and if he could see himself on a date with you.

If he does this, that means that he likes you and is considering going on a date with you.

10. He’s taking his time

You might be asking yourself why he hasn’t made a move by now, even though he knows you like him? Well, it might be that he’s just taking his time for the right moment.

He doesn’t sit around all day analyzing everything, but he is waiting for the perfect moment to take the plunge.

Trust me, timing is everything for men. If he’s not ready and feels like the timing isn’t right, then he’ll shut down completely and won’t open up to you at all.

Plus, if a guy genuinely likes you, then he’ll want to do things the proper way. That’s why he’s taking his time to make the first move.

It’s a little backward, but waiting can also be romantic and sweet, you know.

Don’t get the wrong impression – he still likes you and wants to date you – but right now he might be taking his time before mustering the courage to finally ask you out on a date.

11. He actively listens and respects your opinion

Truth be told, you can’t love someone you don’t respect. If he admires you and treats you with respect, then he almost certainly has feelings for you.

That means that he actively listens to what you have to say, even though men are known for not being great listeners (but that’s just a common myth that deserves to be thrown out).

In fact, men only listen to those who they think are intelligent and worthy of their attention.

And if he fits this profile, then he wants to date you.

It’s not just that he’ll listen to you, he’ll also ask you for advice and respect your opinion on matters, even if it differs from his own. He knows that this is the first real step in being a real couple and team.

One of the pillars of a healthy relationship is actively listening to your partner and taking their opinion into consideration. And he knows that.

That’s why you’ll see him starring at your lips and soaking in every word that you utter.

12. He acts a bit shy around you

If the guy you’re into just wanted a fling, then he would act all manly and flex his muscles all over the place, sometimes to the point of being a little obnoxious.

He’ll behave this way because his only purpose is to get you into bed, so he’ll present himself in the best light possible for you to be physically attracted to him.

On the other hand, a man who wants to date you will act a bit shy around you. He’ll have the same feelings as you do and that includes feeling nervous when you’re around him.

This happens because he wants you to like him back and to go on a date with him, he’s just waiting for the right moment.

He’s nervous because he doesn’t want to make any wrong move, that’s why he’ll be extra careful around you.

13. He won’t hide anything from you

If you’re wondering whether or not he wants to date you, then it’s important to be sure he isn’t hiding something from you. Is he acting all cryptic or is he like an open book that hides nothing from you?

When a guy is only interested in getting you into bed, then he won’t bother being honest with you at all.

Also, he wouldn’t talk about his life because he has no interest in sharing a deeper emotional connection with you. On top of that, he would never leave his phone unattended when you’re around him.

But, a guy who wants to date you will never hide something from you. He will play open cards and won’t be afraid to use his phone when you’re with him.

He’ll even show you his social media profiles because you’re the only woman he texts or calls.

And he’ll share everything that’s been going on in his life recently, whether that be stuff that’s been going on at his job, hobbies, or something similar.

He does it all because he wants to make you a part of his life and he’s not worried at all since he’s completely honest with you.

He’ll keep you updated on everything. Why? Because you’re no ordinary girl to him and he doesn’t seek a mediocre adventure.

14. He tells you how he feels about you

There are guys out there who are pretty bad at giving cues and signals. After a while, they’ll just surrender to you and tell you how they feel about you.

Clearly, that’s a big sign he wants to date you. And if he says it, then trust me, he’s been building courage for a long time to express his feelings for you.

How to Tell If He Really Wants a Relationship With You

“Men will start ramping up their displays of courtship for you over the next few dates if they get really excited about you. He’s going to hopefully be texting you, emailing you, and trying to lock you down for another date. He’ll be stepping up his romantic gestures: If you met at a bar on the first date, what I want to see is that he’s taking you out to dinner or planning something more extravagant for the second or third date. A man who’s really trying to date you in a respectful way won’t hook up with you on a second or third date. He’ll take you out to concerts, he’ll take you out to restaurants, he won’t be pressuring you for sex, he’ll keep trying to get to know you.”

Curveball #2: The “let’s hang out at my place” guy.

Some guys are really horny, let’s face it. And there’s nothing wrong with that. But if he’s looking for a wife, he’ll be looking for more than just a naked body and can make it through two or three dates without taking off your clothes. If not, he might just be pursuing you for the nookie. “If his intentions are sexual, the nature of the conversations will be sexual,” says Frances. He’ll invite you out to a nice second-date dinner, and then invite you back to his place. Or “he’ll say, ‘Why don’t I cook dinner for us at my place?’ I really suggest that women wait. The best way to not get into a sexual situation that you’re not ready for and keep him on simmer is: Do not invite him indoors or go indoors with him on those first three dates.”

On the 4th date and beyond…

If all goes well through the first three dates, he’s courting you and making plans, following up, asking questions about you, and says he wants the same things in life as you, then it’s time to move on to the next phase of dating. “You want to check for compatibility coordinates,” says Frances. “You want to ask men qualifying questions about how compatible you are. The clues that he’s just ultimately trying to sleep with you are that he will start talking about your body, making comments about how turned on he is, or say, ‘Wow you look so hot’ or ‘You have amazing breasts.’ If he starts talking about sex and what he likes sexually before you sleep together, that’s a clear indicator he’s qualifying you FOR SEX. He’s definitely positioning you for missionary position, not marriage,” says Frances.

On the other hand, “Men who are interested in dating in a serious way will start talking about serious things. If he starts talking about where he is in life, what his goals are, his future…men who are interested in getting married will definitely talk about getting married. They will qualify you right away because they don’t want to waste their time. They’ll say, ‘I really want to have a great relationship. I got a promotion at work and now I have more time to focus on a relationship.’ If there is none of that talk, then usually they’re not seeing you as that kind of romantic candidate. Men are better at shopping for relationships than women are—they will start asking you about what your goals are within the first couple of dates, because they’re not interested in dating someone that isn’t looking for the same thing.”

Sounds fair enough, right? Not every woman needs these tips, and not every woman is looking for a lasting, long-term relationship. But if you are, Frances’ tips are based on years of research and one-on-one counseling, and she really knows what she’s talking about. If you keep ending up with the wrong guy, give this method a try.

7 Signs He Wants To Make You His Girlfriend

Yes, there are surefire ways to find out whether a guy wants you to be his girlfriend. Dating someone, or seeing someone casually and don’t know what it’s turning into? Beginning to notice that special guy in your life is developing feelings for you? Still not sure where it is leading to? Well, what if we told you that you can put all dilemmas to rest by paying attention to just 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend.

You read that right, a man’s true intentions can be deciphered by simply keeping an eye out for some tell-tale behavior patterns. More often than not, there are even some early signs he wants you to be his girlfriend that can help you make up your own mind about your future with a guy you may be interested in.

It’s vital to actively look out for these signs and indications because you must understand a guy’s intentions before jumping into things with him. To make sure you truly understand what getting into a relationship could mean for your future, let’s take a closer look at the 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend.

7 Signs He Wants To Make You His Girlfriend

Do you have a feeling he’s about to pop the question? No, not that question. Do you think he’s going to ask you whether you’d like to be with him in an exclusive relationship? Have you been feeling that he is becoming more emotionally invested in you? Do you sense a hint of attachment?

While these can be encouraging signs if you feel strongly for this guy and want something more, it is also important to know what his intentions are. Grace was falling head-over-heels for a guy she had been casually dating. After being nonchalant for the first couple of months, he too became more responsive, emotionally connected. They were constantly texting back and forth, he’d suggest date ideas and plans every weekend, they even slept at each other’s places a few times.

Not sure what to make of it and cautious to not get her hopes up, she turned to a friend for counsel. “Oh, Grace, these are definitely signs he sees you as girlfriend material. I’m so happy for you,” said the friend. But when Grace brought up the ‘where is this going?’ conversation on their next date, he completely froze.

“I thought we were just having fun,” was all he could mumble before cutting the date short, calling for the check and leaving with a promise to call again. But he never did.

That is why it is important to be as sure as possible of what may be going on in his head before building up your own expectations about the future. These 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend will help you gain that clarity:

1. He’s trying to get to know you better

The first of the 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend is that he starts trying to get to know you better. This means that he starts asking you the right get-to-know-me questions, and makes a real effort to understand you and your life better. He becomes more curious about you and wants to understand what kind of space you may have in your life for him. Or whether he can even get to know you at a deeper level.

No guy is going to ask these questions if he’s not interested – unless he is just emotionally manipulating you. Beware of guys that try to talk about emotional things with women just to get into their pants. They get women to open up and talk just so women can feel comfortable around them.

But end up pulling away when a woman starts to want more emotionally. However, if he is consistently more and more invested in you, it is among the clear signs he wants to date you more seriously and build a relationship with you.

2. Inside jokes

Do you guys have inside jokes? Have you already reached that point where you can guess what’s going on in the other’s mind by just looking at them? Do you burst out laughing without even having to crack those inside jokes? When you are at a table with others, does he bring up these inside jokes or anecdotes?

This suggests that you already share an intimate connection. This is a sure-shot beginning to make things exclusive. One of the signs a man wants to be with you is that he makes an effort to harness a deeper, meaningful connection with you and derives joy from it.

You make his life a happier place, and he has no reservations in letting the world see it.

Sharing inside jokes is a sign of an intimate connection

3. Compliments in abundance

Does your guy constantly admire you and tell you how amazing and beautiful you are? Does he do this not just on your good days but bad ones as well? And does he make you feel like he’s your number one fan?

If he is into you, he’ll pay you compliments not just about your looks but also your talents, habits, and personality traits. This could also be one of the early signs he wants you to be his girlfriend. Particularly, if you notice that he has started doing this only recently.

This shift is merely a manifestation of his changing feelings for you. He may have always been fond of you or attracted to you but his feelings are becoming deeper and stronger. Only a man who is completely into you will give you more attention all the time.

4. Opens up about himself

Guys are usually very discreet about their emotions and experiences. So if a guy starts opening up and talking to you about his vulnerabilities, then you are definitely in for the long haul. It is among the indisputable signs he wants you in his future.

If he’s beginning to initiate a relationship with you, he won’t be afraid to talk about himself. This means that he trusts you and wants to take things to another level, emotionally. Guys show their vulnerable side usually when they want you to start offering them solutions or take care of them emotionally when they need it.

5. He is protective of you

Guys are adorable when they start acting all protective. Well, not in a territorial kind of a way, but more in an ‘I’ve got your back’ way. This is not just one of the signs he sees you as girlfriend material but that on some level he has already made up his mind that you’re the one for him.

If a guy is into you and wants more, his protective streak will inevitably begin to emerge. Be it something as simple as holding your hand when crossing a busy street or calling/texting to check if you’ve reached home safely after a night out with your girl friends, he will always do whatever he can to make sure you are safe.

A guy who genuinely likes you will make sure he is there for you and has your back every step of the way.

6. He wants to impress you

When a man is in love with you, he will go out of his way to impress you. If he has feelings for you, he will constantly show you that he cares. If he likes you, he will try to keep doing things for you to make sure you know that.

He wants you to view him in a positive light, as he is trying to set a foundation for a relationship with you. So, pay attention to how he goes out of his way to do things for you. One clear example that he is ready to go above and beyond is when a guy ditches his friends for you.

If he is violating the most basic tenet of the bro-code, it’s a dead giveaway that he’s completely smitten with you and wants more.

7. Interested in your love life

Perhaps, the clearest of the 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend is his interest in your love life. If a guy likes you enough to plan a future with you, he is going to start asking questions about whether you like someone else or if you’re ready for a committed relationship.

He may also enquire about your past relationships to understand where he can fit into your present and future. He is trying to understand whether you have any emotional baggage and how all of that can be countered and taken care of if he wants to step into your life.

In case you’ve been spending sleepless nights worrying about how he really feels and whether there can be a future with him, start paying attention to these 7 signs he wants to make you his girlfriend. And if you see a majority of these signs in your current dynamics, don’t hesitate to talk about the future. Perhaps, he is uncertain about how you’d react and that’s what’s holding him back. By taking initiative or even dropping hints that the feelings are mutual, you can open the gateway to a beautiful partnership.

FAQs

1. There is a guy that randomly compliments me but I don’t know if he really wants me to be with him – how can I tell?

Sometimes, we tend to take politeness for flirting. So, if a guy is generally complimenting you and not meaning to turn it into something, then pay attention to his personality. Does he compliment everyone and is generally outgoing? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? Then tell him. Maybe that’s just how he is – so you can process and tell yourself that instead of overthinking.

2. A guy I know has introduced me to his friends and family, but he doesn’t seem to initiate anything more in the relationship. Is he into me?

If a guy has introduced you to his friends and family, that means he likes you enough to be in his life. No one will introduce someone to people who’re an integral part of their life unless they want something more out of the relationship. Maybe he’s too shy to express his feelings or is just taking his time before committing. Or maybe he just regards you as a very good friend. When in doubt, just ask!

3. There is a guy who gets very jealous if I talk to others and don’t spend time with him – does it mean he’s into me?

Probably! If a guy wants you all to himself, then it’s clear he has a thing for you. If he gets jealous, then he definitely wants you to spend your time with him and not others.

Like Me, Like Me Not? 11 Signs a Guy Wants to Date You

It can be confusing to know whether a guy just wants a casual hook up or if he wants to date you. Here are 11 signs he’s ready to make it official.

The first stages of seeing someone can be awesome. You’re flirting, you meet up, you get excited, happy, nervous, and feel butterflies every time your phone beeps and it’s him. But after a while, you’ll want to know if it’s going anywhere or not.

Does he like you? Signs to know for sure

It’s great to take things slow, but if you’ve gotten to the stage where you are ready to kick things up a notch, yet you’re unsure of whether or not he feels the same, you’ll want to find out for sure so can figure out whether it’s time to get serious or to get rid of him! Read on to find out the telltale signs that a guy wants to date you.

#1 He’s always getting in touch. If a guy is calling and texting you a lot, it’s a clear sign that he’s into you. There is a difference between a guy who gives you eight missed calls after midnight because he’s looking for a hookup and the one who texts you, unprompted, in the middle of the day just to see how you are doing.

Getting in touch with you often shows that you’re genuinely on his mind and that he’s thinking about you and not any other women. If he’s gotten to that point, then it’s probably because he wants to date you for real. [Read: How to decode cryptic texts from the guy you like]

#2 He’s interested in you. A guy who wants to date you will want to know all about you. If your conversations haven’t moved on from outrageous flirting or just silly fun, then he probably isn’t ready or interested enough to take things further.

If he initiates conversations where he asks you a lot of questions about your life *your work, friends, and family* and is genuinely interested in your answers, then it’s probably because he wants to get to know you better and see if the two of you might be compatible after all.

#3 He’s only got eyes for you. There’s nothing worse than going on a date with a guy whose eyes wander, checking out other women when he thinks you’re not looking, or, worse still, brazenly flirts with them in front of your face. The same goes for the guy who seems to constantly check his phone when he’s out with you.

A guy who has decided that he wants to date you won’t be interested in other women – he won’t talk about them, he won’t hook up with them, and he won’t brag about his other conquests, past or present. [Read: Taming the green monster: When is a girl’s jealousy okay?]

#4 He takes it slowly. There’s nothing wrong with hooking up on a first date. But the truth is, if a guy is interested in something more than sex, he’ll be willing to wait because he thinks you’re well worth it.

Guys wanting a casual hookup try to turn the conversation that way as quickly as possible. If he’s constantly talking about sex, then it’s unlikely that he’s thinking about you in a long-term way. Guys who want to date you will respect you, and they’ll be happy to go at your pace.

#5 He’s been there, done that. Guys who want a girlfriend often make it pretty obvious that they feel that way. If he talks about being done with the casual dating game, then he probably is.

It may take them a bit longer, but guys do eventually get to the point where they’re sick of the bachelor lifestyle. It might have been fun for a while, but once they’ve met a girl who really means something to them, they realize how much better being in a loving and committed relationship can be. [Read: 17 things to do before getting married and settling down]

#6 He wants you to meet all his friends. Guys who introduce you to their friends are seeking their approval. If he wants to show you off to his friends, he not only obviously likes you enough to think you’ll get along with them, but he also wants them to tell him how great you are.

#7 He wants you to meet his family. Another surefire sign that a guy wants to date you is if he introduces you to his family. This is a serious move, and if he’s asking you to do it, he probably thinks quite highly of you and wants to show you that he’s serious about you and wants to take that next step. [Read: 7 clear signs it’s the right time to meet the parents]

#8 He gets a bit nervous. If you’ve been seeing each other for a while and he has always been pretty sure of himself, but then suddenly starts to get a bit nervous and flustered around you, it’s probably because he wants to officially ask you out but isn’t exactly sure how to do it.

#9 He romances you. Guys after a casual hookup aren’t interested in wining and dining the women they’re with. If a guy thinks of thoughtful, romantic dates to go on that he knows you’ll love, he is doing so to show you how serious he is about you and that he’s willing to spend time doing things that you’ll enjoy. #10 He’s affectionate… in public. If a guy is into you, he won’t care who knows about it. In fact, he’ll want to sing it from the rooftops *okay, maybe that’s a bit over the top, but you get the idea*.

He will certainly be willing to show you some PDA, though, if really likes you. Being affectionate towards you is gentle and protective—he’s telling the world *and you* that he wants to be together with you.

#11 He opens up to you. A telltale sign that a guy wants to date you is if he starts to open up to you and share stuff with you that you know he wouldn’t tell anyone else. If he can be open and vulnerable in front of you, it’s because he’s not afraid of letting you in on his personal thoughts and feelings.

The next time you aren’t sure whether or not a guy is ready to date you, take a look at the list above. If he’s ticking the boxes left and right, then it probably means that he’s ready and is just hoping you feel the same!

This is the complete guide to know whether a guy likes you or not.

So if you’re asking yourself “does he like me” and you’re finding your man cryptically impossible to read, this is the guide for you.

Men aren’t as complex as you might think. It’s just a matter of knowing what signs to look for.

Here are 35 undeniable signs he likes you:

1. He can’t stop asking questions about you

If a guy can’t stop wanting to get to know, he’s probably into you.

Questions show he is curious and interested. He wants to learn about you. He wants to understand what makes you tick.

If he is actively listening, and asking follow-up questions after your answer, that’s a great sign.

Not only he is a great listener, but his attention is focused on you, rather than himself.

In fact, research has found that men communicate their attraction through focused attention and listening.

We all know that men aren’t the best conversationalists, so if he’s desperate to keep the conversation going by asking you every question under the sun, you can bet your bottom dollar he’s into you.

QUIZ: “Does he like me?” Every woman has asked this question at least once about a guy. I’ve put together a fun quiz to help you figure out whether he likes you. Take my quiz here.

2. He can’t stop smiling when he is with you

If he can’t stop smiling and laughing when he’s around you, then you’re putting him in a good mood. He’s relishing being around you, and he definitely has a crush on you.

He’s also making an effort to lift the positive energy and rapport. He wants you to enjoy yourself when you’re around him and he wants to make a good impression.

In fact, evolutionary psychologist Norman Li says that whether or not someone laughs at your jokes is a huge “interest indicator”.

The main reason?

Because if he doesn’t laugh, it can be perceived as asign of active dislike.

That’s obviously the last thing he’ll want to do if he likes you.

So if he is laughing and smiling at everything you say, then it’s a great sign he is genuinely into you.

3. He’s your soulmate

If you knew for sure that he was ‘the one’, this would be a pretty compelling sign, right?

Let’s be honest:

We can waste a lot of time and energy with people who ultimately we’re not meant to be with. Although things can start off great, all too often they fizzle out and you’re back to being single.

That’s why I was so excited when I stumbled across a professional psychic artist who drew a sketch for me of what my soulmate looks like.

I was a little skeptical at first, but my friend convinced me to give it a try.

Now I know exactly what my soulmate looks like. And the crazy part is that I recognized them right away.

If you want to find out whether this guy really is your soulmate, get your own sketch drawn here.

4. He mirrors your actions

This is something that happens subconsciously if they like you. Imitating your actions is a sign that he respects and admires you.

This can be presented in different ways, such as:

1) He might start speaking at a similar pace to you.
2) He might lean back or lean forward when you do.
3) He might start using similar words or slang as you do.
4) He might start copying your mannerisms when speaking.

Here is some great advice from Judy Dutton, author of How We Do It: How the Science of Sex Can Make You a Better Lover, on how you can figure out if he likes you or not:

“If you want to gauge whether someone’s attracted to you, check your watch—then see if they check theirs. Or scratch your arm, then see if they scratch theirs. Or cross your legs, and see if they cross theirs. This means they’re subconsciously trying to get in synch with you, which is a good sign.”

If he does any of these, then he likes you.

This is actually rooted in the brain’s Mirror Neuron System.

This network of the brain is the social glue that binds people together.

A greater level of activation of the Mirror Neuron System is associated with liking and cooperation.

5. He’s trying to ignore you

Surprised? Ignoring you surely can’t be a sign that he likes you, right? Wrong!

Many guys try to play hard to get. They appear disinterested hoping it will make you interested.

Crazy, right?

Another reason is that if he gets too shy and nervous around you, he’ll try to ignore you because he knows he will make a bad impression.

Nervousness can be portrayed in different ways. Some guys will get a lot more hyper and will start to tell weird jokes.

Other guys talk fast and stutter. And finally, some guys will appear cool on the surface but they might be showing some nervous body signs, like shaking hands and legs.

So if they are showing these signs around you, they might be nervous because they like you.

And if they’re nervous, they’ll struggle to show their true feelings.

What can you do if you think he is nervous around you?

You could speak to him, and see if he appears nervous and shy. Once you start showing that you’re interested in him, he might calm down a little, and probably start smiling and talking with you. This will let you know if he does like you or not.

However, sometimes you can’t read too much into whether he ignores you or not. After all, some guys might ignore you because they’re simply not interested in you.

6. What would a gifted advisor say?

The signs above and below in this article will give you a good idea as to whether he does like you.

Even so, it can be very worthwhile to speak to a highly intuitive person and get guidance from them.

They can answer all sorts of relationship questions and take away your doubts and worries. Like, is he long-term material? Is he the one?

I recently spoke to a someone from Kasamba after going through a rough patch in my relationship. After being lost in my thoughts for so long, they gave me a unique insight into where my life was going, including who I was meant to be with.

I was actually blown away by how kind, compassionate and knowledgeable they were.

7. He’s getting jealous when you talk to other guys

Jealousy is a strong feeling that’s hard to control. If you find yourself talking to a guy and he’s looking over wondering what’s going on, then that’s a good sign that he’s into you.

Relationship expert Dr. Terri Orbuch says:

“Jealousy is among the most human of all emotions. You feel jealous when you think you are going to lose a relationship you really value.”

If you talk to a guy and then later in the night, he’s giving you the cold shoulder, and it looks like he’s angry at you, then jealousy may be getting the better of him.

However, if you give him enough attention and he starts to come around again and be happy, then it was definitely jealousy. And he definitely likes you.

If you like him, this would be an excellent opportunity to say something and get the guy to like you.

Also, for some guys, jealously may spring them into action. When they see you talking to another guy, they may try and get involved in the conversation or talk to you directly after.

It’s amazing what a little bit of competition can do, hey?

Relationship expert Dr. Terri Orbuch says:

“Jealousy is among the most human of all emotions. You feel jealous when you think you are going to lose a relationship you really value.”

8. He asks for your number

This is one that is fairly self-explanatory. Obviously, if he asks for your number, he wants to see you again, and he likes you.

However, there’s an important reason I’m mentioning this sign. You need to watch out for the players. Some guys are very skilled at getting numbers, and they collect them like it’s a game.

Then they’ll text you when it suits them, such as late on a Saturday night.

Obviously, a guy like this being interested in you isn’t the same as a normal guy who likes you and ONLY has his focus on you.

To avoid the player-type operators, watch them and see if they get other girl’s numbers that night. If they’re collecting numbers left, right and center then he’s probably a playboy.

And if he doesn’t text for a few days, or he texts you late at night, then he might not be the kind of guy you’re looking for.

One study found that if a man initiates contact with you based on the goal of a “booty call” then he’s not really interested or invested in creating a meaningful relationship.

Also, keep in mind how long he takes to text you back.

Gian Gonzaga, Senior Director of Research & Development for eHarmony Labs, says that quick response time is a significant indicator of attraction.

9. He feels like a ‘hero’ around you

Do you make him feel good about himself? Like a man who is providing you something you need?

Making a man feel like a ‘hero’ is something many women overlook in the early days of dating and getting you know a guy.

Let me explain what I mean by hero. It’s got nothing to do with being Thor.

There’s a new concept in relationship psychology generating a lot of buzz at the moment called the hero instinct.

It claims that men want to be your hero. And this drive is deeply rooted in their biology. Since humans first evolved, men have wanted to provide for and protect women.

Even in this day and age, men still want to be your hero. Of course you may not need one, but this doesn’t mean that men don’t want to step up to the plate for the woman in their lives. It’s encoded in their DNA to do so.

If you can make your guy feel like one, it unleashes his protective instincts and the most noble aspect of his masculinity. Most importantly, it will unleash his deep feelings of attraction.

Check out this free video by James Bauer on the hero instinct. He reveals the simple things you can do starting today to trigger this very natural male instinct.

Some ideas really are game changers. And for developing a special relationship with a new guy, this is one of them.

Here’s a link to James Bauer’s video again.

10. He’s talking to you on social media

Think about this:

When we’re online, we can literally do whatever we want. We can chat to who we want to, we can view the profiles of who we like, and we can follow the people we’re most interested in.

So if he’s making an effort to connect with you on Facebook or Instagram, there’s a high chance that he’s into you.

Is he liking your pictures, even when it has nothing to do with him? Chatting to you on messenger? Commenting on your updates?

These are great signs that he’s into you.

Watch out for guys that are slow to reply on messenger or they give you one-word responses. This might mean that they’re not that interested and they’re simply stringing you along.

But if he’s highly attentive to what you’re doing on social media and he’s regularly engaging with you, then he’s probably into you.

The one thing you need to ask yourself is how well thought his answers are to you. If he is giving you responses and asking questions that show he is making somewhat of an effort, then there’s a fair chance he likes you.

11. He asks you, “Do you have a boyfriend?”

We’re all familiar with this question. And we all know it’s a dead set giveaway that he’s into you.

I mean, if he wasn’t interested, there’s no way he’d be asking that question!

However, some guys might not be so direct, particularly if they’re nervous or shy.

Perhaps they’ll mention that they’re single in the hope that it forces you to say “me too.”

Or they’ll ask things like, “Oh, so you went alone to the party?”

If you’re looking out for it, it will be pretty easy to notice if he is trying to figure out if you’re single or not.

You could mention that you are indeed single and watch for their reaction. If it produces a smile from the guy, then he’s definitely into you.

12. He feels appreciated

For a man, feeling appreciated is often what separates “like” from “love”.

Don’t get me wrong, no doubt your guy loves your strength and abilities to be independent. But he still wants to feel wanted and useful — not dispensable!

This is because men have a built in desire for something “greater” that goes beyond love or sex. It’s why men who seemingly have the “perfect girlfriend” are still unhappy and find themselves constantly searching for something else —  or worst of all, someone else.

Simply put, men have a biological drive to feel needed, to be appreciated, and to provide for the woman he cares about.

Relationship psychologist James Bauer calls it the hero instinct. I talked about this concept above.

As James argues, male desires are not complicated, just misunderstood. Instincts are powerful drivers of human behavior and this is especially true for how men approach their relationships.

How do you trigger this instinct in him? And give him this sense of meaning and purpose?

You don’t need to pretend to be anyone you’re not or play the “damsel in distress”. You don’t have to dilute your strength or independence in any way, shape or form.

In an authentic way, you simply have to show your man what you need and allow him to step up to fulfill it.

In his new video, James Bauer outlines several things you can do. He reveals phrases, texts and little requests that you can use right now to make him feel more appreciated.

Watch his unique video here.

By triggering this very natural male instinct, you’ll not only give him greater satisfaction but it will also help to rocket your relationship to the next level.

13. He’s trying to touch you

If he’s touching you, then he finds you sexy, and he’s probably into you.

This could be simple things, like a playful nudge to the arm, or an innocent arm around the shoulder.

Guys love to touch the girls they’re into you. It gives them energy and assists in building rapport.

So if he’s finding excuses to touch you, he might be ready to tell you that he likes you soon.

Here’s a great example of touching that someone might do if they if someone likes you:

“If you walk near each other, he’ll place his hand near the small of your back to guide you through a noisy party or bar. Plus, he wants to show all the other men that he’s got this. Plus, it’s a reason to touch you and seem like a gentleman all at the same time.”

Keep in mind that shy guys can be difficult to read in this situation, and when you touch them, they may appear startled and unsure of how to respond.

That’s okay. Watch how they react after that incident to truly gauge their interest. Don’t rely on how he responds to touch alone.

All you have to do is spend more time with him to the point that he gets comfortable with you.

Once you do that, you’ll be able to really gauge how he feels once he gets over his nerves.

However, on the other end of the spectrum, you need to watch out for sexist guys that touch you in inappropriate ways. This could be a slap on the butt or a grope of some kind. Obviously, that’s disgusting, and you should stay the hell away from those no-hopers.

That just shows that they’re a player (or creep) and they might not be genuinely interested in you for the right reasons.

(Do you know the strangest thing men desire? And how it can make him crazy for you? Check out my new article to find out what it is).

14. His body does the talking

Everyone knows that you can say a lot with your eyes without ever uttering a word, but your body can do a lot of talking for you as well.

If you find your guy crush is leaning into you when you talk, or if he is standing near you when there’s no need to stand near you, it’s a good sign that he might be into you as much as you are into him.

If you find that he chooses the seat next to yours, even when you are out with a crowd, and he turns in your direction, even when others are speaking, it’s pretty safe to assume he’s got a thing for you.

First, he’ll lean into the conversation if he likes you. The space between you and him will get smaller and smaller as the conversation goes on.

He’ll lead with his pelvis, meaning he’ll lean from side to side, stick one a hip, put his hand on his hip to take up more space, and make himself look powerful.

This is an age-old power pose that men use to show they are strong and capable, and of course, the pelvic thrust is just a roundabout way of getting you to look in the direction of his junk.

On the other hand, if he is moving his lower region away from you, or if he has crossed his legs and creates a sort of barrier between you and him with his legs, he’s likely not interested in you.

Watch for other telltale signs of body language giving him away, including placing his hand near yours on the table, presenting his hips in a dominant way (you know, he wants you to look at his crotch), and he lowers his head close to yours when you talk.

15. He’s infatuated with you

Why do men fall in love with certain women but not others?

Well, according to the science journal, “Archives of Sexual Behavior”, men don’t choose women for “logical reasons”.

As dating and relationship coach Clayton Max says, “It’s not about checking all the boxes on a man’s list of what makes his ‘perfect girl’. A woman can’t “convince” a man to want to be with her”.

The truth is that trying to convince a man or show him how amazing you are always backfires. Because you’re sending him the opposite signals of what he needs to commit to you.

Instead, men choose women who they are infatuated with. These women stir up a sense of excitement and desire to chase them.

Want a few simple tips to be this woman?

Then watch Clayton Max’s quick video here where he shows you how to make a man infatuated with you (it’s easier than you probably think).

Infatuation is triggered by a primal drive deep within the male brain. And although it sounds crazy, there are a combination of words you can say to generate feelings of red-hot passion for you.

To learn exactly what these phrases are, watch Clayton’s excellent video now.

16. He remembers the little things

Let’s be honest: Guys aren’t very good at remembering things.

But if he remembers little things about your life that you mention, then he probably likes you.

For example, if you mention that it’s your sister’s birthday and you’re having dinner with your family for it, and then the next day he asks you how it was, it’s a great sign.

We spoke before about the fact that a guy that likes you will listen intently to what you’re saying and ask you constant questions.

This is the same thing.

Remembering things that you wouldn’t expect him to remember is a great sign that he’s thinking about you and he wants to stay connected and develop rapport.

Not every guy does this, so see it as a sign that he’s genuinely interested in you.

The fact of the matter is this:

If he likes you, he’ll hang onto your every word.

He remembers the little details and takes note when you mention anything for a reason.

He doesn’t interrupt you. He doesn’t think that he is smarter than you.

He just listens without distraction and then offers his advice once you’re finished.

“DOES HE LIKE ME” QUIZ: If you don’t know whether a guy likes you, you need real and honest advice. My new quiz will help you figure it out. Take the quiz here.

17. He goes out of his way to be seen by you

If you suddenly start running into him at places you’ve always gone but have never seen each other, like your favorite bar or restaurant, bet your bottom dollar that he is trying to be seen by you.

He might make a scene in front of your friends or show off a bit to try to get your attention, which could be awkward for a while.

You gotta hand it to him though; he’s gutsy to do that given all the people that are around and who might judge him for the way he’s rocking that karaoke mic!

This is also the case when you’re in a group of people together. He’ll somehow find a way to sit next to you or stand next to you if he likes you.

He might not even know he is doing this, either. He just does it subconsciously because he likes you.

18. He’s teasing you

The guy that teases you likes you. Sound familiar?

Guys have a habit of insulting and teasing the women they’re interested in. Remember the kindergarten classes where a boy would pull a girl’s hair? Yeah, he liked her.

Why do guys do this?

The main reason is attention. Teasing is a way to get attention and noticed by their object of affection.

They also want to be funny, and teasing is the adult way of telling you I like you more than a friend.

19. He’s focused on you and only you

Look, we’ve spoken above about how a guy that likes you will be grossly attentive in any conversation with you.

And this is also the case with where he looks.

And you can tell a lot about a guy if you focus on where he looks.

For example, it’s natural for guys to check out girls. Look at any guy in public and see how their eyes wander when a pretty girl walks past. They can’t help it.

But if he has eyes only for you, then there’s no question that he’s into you.

If he doesn’t look at any other girl, but you, then you also know that he probably isn’t a player, either.

Not only that, but he probably wants a relationship with you, too.

After all, it’s not easy for a guy to focus on one girl, so this is an excellent signal that he’s picking up what you’re putting down.

20. He acts weird around you

Has he started to act a little weirdly around you?

Maybe he stumbles over his words, becomes tense or nervous, or even pulls away suddenly and unexpectedly.

These are actually counter-intuitive signs that he has strong feelings for you.

The truth is most women don’t know what men are thinking, what they want in life, and what they really crave from a relationship.

And the reason is simple.

Male and female brains are biologically different. For instance, the limbic system is the emotional processing center of the brain and it’s much larger in the female brain than in a man’s.

That’s why women are more in touch with their emotions. And why guys can struggle to process and understand their feelings. The result can be some pretty weird behavior (in your eyes).

If you’ve ever been with an emotionally unavailable man before, blame his biology rather than him.

The thing is, to stimulate the emotional part of a man’s brain, you have to communicate with him in a way that he’ll actually understand.

How?

Try watching this simple and genuine video from Carlos Cavallo.

Most men don’t think about commitment in a logical way. Because men are mainly concerned with how the relationship makes them feel about themselves.

In short, your man needs to feel like he’s found the absolute best woman for him. Like he’s won the game of love.

Carlos Cavallo will show you a really simple and genuine way to give your man this unique feeling…

21. No matter what problem you face, he’ll go searching for a solution

Nicholas Sparks sums it up quite perfectly:

“You’re going to come across people in your life who will say all the right words at all the right times. But in the end, it’s always their actions you should judge them by. It’s actions, not words, that matter.”

Guys like to be problem solvers. So when a girl they like says that they have a problem, he’ll immediately search for solutions, even if it’s an issue he’s not well-versed in.

He’ll help you out more than a friend if he likes you. He’ll go the extra mile. He wants to be your hero that saves the day.

Keep in mind that one of the most important takeaways from this is to focus on his actions. A guy can say he’ll help you, but their actions will truly indicate how they feel.

According to psychotherapist Christine Scott-Hudson:

“Pay twice as much attention to how someone treats you than what they say. Anybody can say they love you, but behavior doesn’t lie. If someone says they value you, but their actions indicate otherwise, trust their behavior.”

22. He’s trying to organize meet-ups and things to do together

A guy who likes you doesn’t just leave you two meeting to chance. He’ll take the initiative and try to organize a drink, coffee or a trip to the bowling court.

In short, he wants to spend more time with you. And he’ll stop at nothing to get that chance.

If he is sending you text messages or emails, calling you or showing up at your place looking to hang out, you don’t need to wonder if he likes you. He does.

If he’s interested in what you are doing and wants to know more, or if he is giving you gifts or paying a lot of attention to when you look terrible because you just woke up and this guy brought coffee, yeah he likes you.

Let’s be clear: liking you and being creepy about it are two different things, so if he’s giving you a creepy vibe, move on.

But in general, a guy that likes you will want to hang out with you.

One easy strategy to figure out if he likes you you could do is to ask him out for a coffee and ice cream, if he says no and doesn’t have a legitimate reason, then he might not like you.

But if he says yes, then you he likes you. It is still possible he only likes you as a friend, but that’s up to you to work out when you’re on your coffee date together.

(When texting a guy, it’s important to be fun, flirty and to always capture his attention. Check out my Text Chemistry review to see if this popular dating guide to right for you).

23. He’s not distracted when you’re around

As I’ve said, if he genuinely likes you, then he won’t be distracted and looking at other girls walk past.

And in the same vein, he won’t be distracted in general!

After all, if he likes you, his focus is on you. He doesn’t pick up his phone and start browsing Facebook when he’s talking with you. He’s fully engaged with what you’re saying.

After all, he’s genuinely interested in what’s going on in your life, and he’s trying to make a good impression.

Anyone that gets distracted in a conversation doesn’t really want to be there.

Research has even found that men become less fidgety when they’re interacting with a girl they like.

So if he genuinely likes you, all eyes and attention will be on YOU, not on your assets!

This is a big one that a lot of people misconstrue.

If a guy is only looking at your boobs and ass, then he’s not interested in YOU. He’s only interested in the physical. This is not a good sign if you’re looking for a relationship.

But if his focus is on your eyes when you’re in a conversation, then he’s interested in your personality. He wants to get to know you. He wants to build rapport, and he likes you for who you are.

This is a great sign that there could be something special brewing between the two of you.

Also, if you like him, you may want to maintain eye contact back at him. Research says that prolonged eye contact increases the attraction between two people.

24. He compliments you

If he likes you, he probably likes things about you that you wouldn’t expect.

And no, I’m not talking about your ass or your boobs. I’m talking about your hairstyle, clothes or personality.

He notices the small things about you and isn’t afraid to tell you that it looks marvelous. Nobody normal would even notice.

For example, you may have changed something small about your hair, but somehow, he’s the first person to notice and compliment you on the change.

If he is this observant about changes you make to your style, then you know he’s into you.

After all, if he’s fully into you, he likes EVERYTHING about you. Your smell, your hair, your style, your personality.

25. He wants you to meet his friends

There’s no point in introducing you to his friends if he’s not into you. If he’s impressed by you, he wants to show you off. He’s proud of the fact he knows you.

This is a huge sign that he likes you. In fact, he’s probably told his friends about the fact that he does, so watch out for any subtle signals that they’re trying to leave you two alone or they’re trying to make him look good.

Guys always try to wingman each other, especially when one of them genuinely likes a girl.

26. He talks about his future plans

It takes an effort to have these discussions, but if he is telling you about want he wants to do in the future, then he might be interested in dating you.

He’s telling you because he might be working out how you would fit into these plans.

Also, he could be trying to impress you. He’s trying to show you that he’s not some normal loser that only thinks about the short-term.

He’s got long-term goals, and he might want to take you along for the journey.

27. He wants to know your future plans

If he feels close enough to you or invested in the relationship enough, he will see things for you and your future that you might not even see.

So even if he isn’t coming out and saying he likes you, if he’s offering up advice on your future in a meaningful and caring way, he’s into you.

Furthermore, there might be a practical reason he is asking about your future plans. If he likes you and sees a future between the two of you, then he wants to make sure that both of your futures are compatible.

He wants to have a relationship with you and he is trying to figure out if it will work.

For example, if you tell him that you want to move overseas in the future, then his plan of having a relationship with you might be a little more difficult for him.

28. Look at his body language

Men can be pretty obvious when it comes to their body language.

If he likes you, he’ll be very open with his body. He’ll likely face towards you. He might also lean in when he talks to you.

Research has found that men who are more traditional flirts (those who believed men should make the first move and women should be more passive) are more likely to adopt open body language.

Furthermore, if he is showing open body language with you (legs and arms spread apart) then it shows that he is comfortable with you as well. This is a great sign that there is strong rapport between the two of you.

However, if he is showing closed body language (arms crossed) then it’s true that he might not like you, but he may also be nervous or shy.

If you’re only just getting to know him, then just give him time to get more comfortable. When he trusts you, and there is a rapport between the two of you, he’ll start to come around and act normal.

This is where you can really tell if he likes you.

29. He leans in when in conversation with you

I’ve mentioned the importance of analyzing his body language to tell if he likes you or not.

Well, this is a fairly obvious body language sign to notice. When you’re talking, if he naturally leans in then there’s a good chance that he likes you.

Why?

Because he’s trying to build rapport so he’ll move his body closer to yours – all without even realizing it.

Go to any bar and looks at all guys leaning in when they talk to girls. It’s fairly common but a surefire sign that a guy is interested and trying to score.

This is particularly the case when you start to talk. He’ll lean in to really listen to what you’re saying. He’s desperate to make a connection with you and his body is leading his brain.

30. They remove things in their way

When we don’t like someone, we naturally input barriers between ourselves and them.

For example, many people cross their arms when they’re talking to someone they dislike. It’s a subconscious way to protect your own physical space.

But when we are with someone we like, we tend to spread our body language and be very welcoming.

So if he is uncrossing his arms around you, it’s almost like you’ve disarmed him and he is welcoming you into his physical space.

So to work whether they are removing barriers between the two of you, here’s what to look for:

  • Crossed arms might indicate that a person feels closed off or defensive. Open body language indicates the opposite.
  • Hands behind their back may indicate that they are feeling bored, or angry.
  • Fidgeting can also indicate that they are bored.
  • Open posture involves keeping the trunk of the body open and exposed. This can indicate openness and friendliness.

31. Where are his feet pointing

This one has been mentioned above but it’s worth discussing in-depth because it’s such a surefire sign that a guy likes you.

So watch where his feet point. This can be an indicator of where his interest lies.

If his feet are pointing away from you and towards the door, then he might not like you. If his body is turned away from you, he might not like you either.

Even if they are turned to talk to someone else and their attention is occupied, if their feet are in your direction, you might have a crush on your hands.

Again, our bodies like to give us subtle ways of letting us know that we like someone.

You might feel anxious or uptight about something and later realize that it’s because you find yourself attracted to someone and didn’t know what to do with that information in your body.

“When the feet are pointed directly toward another person, this is a sign of attraction, or at the very least, genuine interest.” – Vanessa Van Edwards in Huffington Post

32. He laughs at your jokes, even when they’re not funny

You know your jokes are stupid. He knows your jokes are stupid. Yet for some reason, he can’t help but laugh uncontrollably at them.

So if you are wondering if your crush likes you back, just tell a lame joke and see how they react.

Our sense of trying to make people feel important and acknowledged when we like them is so high that we will go out of our way to make ourselves look silly (aka laughing when we shouldn’t be) so that the other person is raised up. Love is a tricky thing, isn’t it?

33. What is his face saying?

You can tell a lot about someone by reading their face.

If they like you, research has found that his eyes may be bright and wide and his pupils dilated. This is a classic sign, and he probably wants to do more than just look at you.

If he likes you, his eyebrows may move up and down, and his facial gestures will be attentive.

Furthermore, this study suggests that he may also literally drawl over you.

Why?

Because testosterone levels increase in a man’s saliva when he’s attracted to a woman. This may cause him to swallow more than usual or become dehydrated.

34. He likes hanging out with you – as far as you can tell!

If he seems to want to hang around you, but it doesn’t seem to be turning into any romantic, give it some time.

He just might need a little time to get up the gumption to tell you how he feels.

In the meantime, you get to enjoy some non-committal friend time and learn more about him to make sure he is someone you want to spend time with.

As time passes and you get to know him, you might decide that he’s not for you. So at least you can make use of friend time while it lasts.

35. Want to really know him if he likes you? Ask him!

Stop endlessly wondering. If you really want to know if he likes you, ask him.

It’s not third grade, right? If he’s genuinely interested, he’ll tell you how he’s really feeling.

If you’re looking to get a boyfriend, then it’s important to communicate your feelings.

And if he’s not, then great. Now you know. You can move on with your life. After all, there’s plenty of fish in the sea.

What’s your next move?

These 35 tips cover all the bases to figure out whether he likes you or not.

And if he does, what are you going to do next?

Unfortunately, finding the right guy and building a great relationship with him isn’t as easy as swiping left or right.

I’ve been in contact with countless women who start dating someone only to encounter really serious red flags.

Or they’re stuck in a relationship that’s just not working for them.

No one wants to waste their time. We just want to find the person that we’re meant to be with. Both men and women want to be in a deep and passionate relationship.

And I think there’s one crucial ingredient to relationship happiness I think many women overlook:

Understanding what really drives men in a relationship.

Men need this one thing

James Bauer is one of the world’s leading relationship experts.

And in his new video, he reveals a new concept which brilliantly explains what really drives men romantically. He calls it the hero instinct.

I talked about this concept above.

Simply put, men want to be your hero. Not necessarily an action hero like Thor, but he does want to step up to the plate for the woman in his life and be appreciated for his efforts.

The hero instinct is probably the best-kept secret in relationship psychology. And I think it holds the key to a man’s love and devotion for life.

90,000 If he wants to date you, he will do more than just text you

It’s great that he writes to you every morning so you know what he thinks of you. It’s great that he writes to you in the evenings so that you don’t feel lonely. It’s great that he writes to you to tell you how beautiful you are in a new photo on Instagram, and that he hasn’t seen you for a long time and misses you.

But there are not enough messages. A 10-minute conversation for an entire day is not enough.

Of course, this is a good start. This shows that he wants to make an effort. But this is not enough effort.

If he really liked you, then he would like to talk to you more – in real life, rather than texting through gadgets.

If he really liked you, then he would like to look into your eyes during a conversation, and not at your selfie on the net.

If he really liked you, then he would like to kiss your lips, and not write about kisses in the message and what he would like to do with you in bed.

If he really liked you, then he would invite you to a meeting with friends, and he would not write drunk after partying with them.

If he really liked you, then he would flirt with you in life, and not exchange messages.

If he really liked you, then he would invite you to meet, and not complain how bored he is.

If he really liked you, then he would have planned meetings with you, and not repeated that he misses you and would not do anything to change it.

If he really liked you, then he would put down his phone and take your hand. He would stop writing to you and whisper all this in your ear.

It’s great that he writes to you, that his words accompany you throughout the day, but this is not enough. You need more. You deserve more.

It is difficult to start a serious relationship with someone when he sits in another room, in another house, and rereads his words 10 times before sending them. When you see the perfect version of a person, not the real, unfiltered version.

It is difficult to start a serious relationship through messages. When you can’t hear his laugh or admire his eyes, or get close enough to kiss him.

If he really liked you, then he would invite you to his home, to dinner, to the cinema. If he really liked you, then he would take the time to see you, no matter how busy he is.

If he really liked you, if he wanted to be your official boyfriend, he would do more than just write a message. He would spend time with you in reality – no phones.

If he wants to date you, he will do more than just text you.

90,000 How to understand that a man only wants sex from you

Your best time with him is sex

When you remember how good you were together, then we are always talking about some intimate moments. For example, you’re mentally going back to that great sex marathon last weekend. Or you really enjoyed the way he did the massage this morning. But something non-sexual is not immediately remembered. For example, when did you go (and did you go at all) to the cinema not to the last row. And because the movie is really interesting.

He is only interested in the process

And he ignores your desires. You always do as he pleases. And if he doesn’t like lengthy foreplay, then you have little chance of ever getting one.

All your conversations are usually about sex

If he starts or ends every conversation with phrases about sex, then this is probably what he needs from you most of all. Yes, when you meet, you can talk about more than that. But if your correspondence is becoming more and more like erotic fanfiction, then this is another reason to think.

He only writes when he wants to have fun

Think back to when he usually writes to you first. What is this day of the week? What time of day? And most importantly – what messages do you receive from him? A man who only wants sex will not be interested in how your day or week went.Rather, he will immediately ask what you are doing and where you are. And then he will by all means persuade you to come to him. After all, it is so much fun here and he would so much like you to be there at this moment. And it’s okay that it is now one in the morning and you were actually asleep.

Your dates most often take place at home

Or where you can quickly leave. And from the activities, he would rather offer you to watch a film at home than go to a new exhibition. Because the film can always be paused, but where to find a secluded place for solitude in a museum is a more difficult question.Yes, spending time at home is good too. But if you can count the cases when you got out somewhere on your fingers, then we have bad news for you.

He does not introduce you to his surroundings

And he masterfully comes up with excuses why this also cannot happen today. Either all his friends left the city at once, then they are just very busy. And today, in general, football and they definitely cannot be pulled out anywhere. If he continues to interfere with your attempts to meet his friends, then it is worth wondering if you are dating at all.Because getting to know each other’s loved ones is something that all couples do at some point. But if your partner avoids this, it means that he does not really want to notify everyone that he now has a girlfriend.

He demands from you what he does not himself

For example, when everything comes to oral sex. He likes to be the host, but he won’t do the same for you. Because “well, this is somehow not manly.” In fact, he simply does not care about your pleasure.

90,000 Psychologist’s blog: clarification of the relationship – is it useful or not?

  • Elena Savinova
  • psychologist

Don’t like to argue? You just don’t know how to do it right!

The situation is typical: people live quietly and peacefully, do not quarrel. And suddenly, because of a broken cup or a recklessly thrown mocking word, one of the partners collects things and slams the door. The other remains shocked: was the cup really that important, or was he (she) just looking for an excuse.

From a broken cup to a “broken trough”

There is a misconception that if disputes begin between people, this indicates a deterioration in relations and the beginning of the end of love.

In fact, by avoiding conflicts, we build psychological defense, avoiding frank communication with each other.

Giving preference to omissions and closeness, we subconsciously try not to let anyone into our inner “cocoon”.

This allows, on the one hand, to keep your own ideas about the world and yourself in it unchanged. On the other hand, to please a child’s desire to be good, that is, to meet the expectations of others, and to hide their desires, and most importantly, unwillingness and dissatisfaction, as “bad” emotions. And then suddenly it turns out that we, and not a partner, need to change our outlook on life. And this is a painful procedure, because it requires leaving the comfort zone.

Of course, he cannot arrange everything. Therefore, irritation suppressed due to unspoken negativity accumulates until a grandiose explosion occurs, allegedly caused by some “trifle”.

To prevent this from happening, you even need to argue, oddly enough, in order to maintain the mental hygiene of the relationship. You just need to follow certain rules.

The first and most important thing has already been determined – not to suppress discontent, but to transform it into a positive in a general conversation as a conflict situation arises. Because if one conflict is not completed, it will carry over to other situations.

You need to speak in the “here” and “now” modes, operating with specific facts, and avoiding phrases like “You always do this” or “You never have me… “. Because it will keep the partner at a dead end of guilt.

Refuse evaluations and comparisons, because they affect the partner’s dignity, in favor of your own feelings and experiences. That is, instead of” You are a callous idol “say” I was it’s unpleasant to hear from you … “,” I felt pain when you … “, etc.

Objective and subjective logic

Remember, most of the conflicts and suspicions are not based on real facts, but on our interpretations of some completely innocent words or events.

For example, a simple “text message” on the day off on the wife’s phone screen with the text: “Hello, how are you?” causes the darkest suspicions of adultery.

And from the mere fact that a man came home late in the evening, his wife draws a number of conclusions: “You are not alone!”

So, guided by objective logic, we arrange facts in a certain sequence, as a result of which the event itself and its causes become obvious. But it turns out better in the protocols of the investigator.

In human relations, unfortunately, this kind of logic prevails, when events, which most likely did not happen, are built in the virtual space of the enacted imagination. And they reproduce not reality, but rather neurotic states and complexes of a person, in whose head all this is happening. The disadvantage of subjective logic is that certain meanings are ascribed to neutral facts, depending on the unmet needs and desires of the one who does it.

For example, a man who, because of his own personal problems, began to think that his wife had grown cold towards him, silently collected “evidence” of her inattention and indifference. The woman noticed the estrangement of her partner, but decided not to ask anything, thinking that he was either tired or “he has someone.”

Therefore, a message from a colleague who wanted to change shifts fell on the prepared ground and became in the man’s imagination a material “confirmation” of his far-fetched suspicion of his wife’s infidelity. She, in turn, decided that when a loved one raised a butch because of a neutral SMS message, it means he was cheating and was only looking for an excuse to “switch the arrows”.

Neither one nor the other was true, but during a quarrel, when the consciousness is clouded and emotions go wild, few people care. People do not exchange logical arguments, but ready-made distorted interpretations like “you don’t love me” or “you ruined my life” – in the case of low self-esteem.

Fear of being abandoned turns into jealousy, suppressed aggression is manifested in accusations of cruelty and indifference.Needless to say, there is no question of any constructive solution to the conflict situation in such conditions.

Therefore, one should not silently endure and suffer, ostensibly in order to preserve the illusion of consent. If our heroes calmly talked to each other in time about their doubts and fears, this would allow them to avoid a destructive scandal and groundless mutual grievances.

Why argue with the past

But why are adults and successful people in social life unable to resolve conflict situations with their loved ones as effectively?

The reason is that at work our roles and attitudes are the same: adults communicate with adults. In marital relationships, we often move to parent-child positions.

Psychologists believe that in this way we are trying to “correct” those shortcomings in our relationship with a partner that prevented us from communicating normally with our parents. If we still have conflicts there, we subconsciously “work out” them already in our own family.

When communicating with a spouse, we seem to still continue to prove something to our father or mother. So, imperceptibly for ourselves, we are moving from the social, adult level to the childish, emotional one. This is what prevents to argue in an adult way, without hysteria and resentment.

What is the difference? For a child, love is above all, so often people in adulthood avoid disputes, fearing punishment by deprivation of love. Adults are oriented toward understanding, so they usually cope with fluctuations in the intensity of love.

The child reacts to gestures, the timbre of the voice, the meaning of the conversation is important for the adult. During upbringing, emotional sanctions are often used: resentment, aggression, coldness. In married life we are dealing with an established personality, therefore such “education” is inappropriate.

Arguing, children ultimately and rigidly defend their point of view (all or nothing), they do not take into account the desires of others. Adults, on the other hand, take a more flexible position, tend to give in and compromise.

So you can see for yourself which line of behavior is inherent in you when you sort things out. And if the childish, spontaneously infantile prevails in it, then isn’t this standing in the way of finding a common language, isn’t it worth it to finally grow up?

In any case, respect your partner. After all, the subject of the dispute will quickly evaporate from consciousness, but the offensive words will be remembered for many years.

How to build relationships for those who already have children?

“First, it’s hard to find time for a relationship. Second, many people are not interested in a relationship with someone who has children. And thirdly, I would not want my child to think that I am having affairs with everyone. So I’m very selective about girls. ”- Benson, 49, Toronto, Ontario.

“When you have children, relationships develop very slowly.I cannot dive into them with my head, finally get carried away by my beloved and spend most of my time with him. I have children, home, work. It turns out that I cannot find out everything about a person at once. So you have to look at him for a long time. ”- Annie, 30, Moscow, Idaho.

What are your most worried about in a relationship?

“Children live with me 24/7 – they are always at home. So my boyfriend just can’t come to visit me. And sometimes you want to. I have to wait until I decide to introduce the chosen one to the children. It may not even come to that. ”- Hannah, 43, Dayton, Ohio.

“When you are absolutely in love, you hardly manage to lose your head completely and not start moving away from the child. I could afford a nanny, but I set clear priorities, making it the most important thing for me to have a child. ”- Susan, 57, Phoenix, Arizona.

When do you understand that it is time to introduce your loved one to the children?

“I wait at least five to six months before introducing the children to the chosen one.And then if I feel that this relationship has the potential to develop. If I understand that nothing will work out, I will not introduce my girlfriend to the children. It’s pointless. ”- Jeff, 52, Boston, Massachusetts.

“This is a difficult question. I dated a guy for three months (he also has a daughter). And we decided that we will get to know each other’s children only when we have a serious and strong relationship. There is no specific time when this important meeting should take place. A friend of mine introduced the children to his girlfriend after just two weeks of relationship.Much depends on the age of the child and the situation. ”- Hannah, 43, Dayton, Ohio.

“I have a rule – to introduce a guy to children not earlier than after a year of relationship. I could change my mind and organize this meeting earlier only if my man had children about the same age as mine. They could hang out together, that would be great. In this case, it would be possible to avoid this awkward moment: “Here, dear, with this strange uncle, whom you see for the first time, you will have to share your mother.Hope you like him. ”- Annie, 30, Moscow, Idaho.

Would you stop dating someone your child doesn’t like?

“You need a good reason for this. If a child doesn’t like my boyfriend’s sense of humor, it’s not serious. But if they notice that he is behaving disrespectfully towards me, then I will think. I trust my kids. ”- Hannah, 43, Dayton, Ohio.

“I would definitely listen to children. They are kind, they like everything. So if they disliked someone, there was probably a good reason for that.My first responsibility as a parent is to protect my children. If they don’t like someone, I have to figure out what’s the matter. ”- Andrea, 44, Dallas, TX.

Did having children change the process of finding a partner?

“Definitely yes. Before, the first thing I looked at was a guy’s physical attractiveness. Now it is much more important for me that he be reliable, kind and free of bad habits. Before I met my current boyfriend, I talked a lot with men on dating sites. One of the most important criteria for whether or not communication will continue was my desire to introduce the young man to the children. If I didn’t want this or that guy to know my guys, communication would stop. ”- Hannah, 43, Dayton, Ohio.

If he wants to be with you, he will be there: everything is simple

There are no exceptions!

If he really wants to be with you, he will take the time. “Busy” – with this word men usually justify their indifference, unwillingness to communicate, to recognize a woman, writes Thought Catalog.

Someone who is interested in you and really wants to be with you will do their best to talk, write a message or meet. If you are interested in a person, there can be no “later” and “later”.

If he wants to be near you, he will.

If he avoids you, then he doesn’t like you very much. If he has no desire to try for you, it is better to find another man who wants this.

No man is worth spending too much time and energy on.

There will always be problems in a relationship. Find someone who will overcome all the troubles together, who is ready for the hard work, who will not shift all the responsibility to the partner.

If only you invest in a relationship, if your man does not want to make concessions, he only seeks shortcomings, forget about him. Why do you need someone who is not ready to make sacrifices for you?

If a guy doesn’t call you when he promised, if he doesn’t want to keep you, then here he is, the answer to your question.Stop making excuses for him, his actions speak, even scream for themselves: he just did not fall for you.

There won’t be a time of day to see it, just a schedule that you might have to work with sometimes, but it will because it wants to see you.

Men always have time to get what they want.

Don’t ask yourself what you did wrong. Don’t poison your soul and waste your precious time trying to figure out why he did what he did.Or to remember all his words, hoping to unravel what is true and what is false in them.

If you do not understand what is happening in your relationship, then there is nothing wrong with slowing down and asking him a couple of questions.

Does it smell like uncertainty? Do not expect anything good.

Don’t date someone who isn’t sure they want to date you, who makes you feel sexually unattractive, who is afraid to make plans for the future with you.

The person you deserve will yearn to see you. You will never doubt his intentions and words, you will not find fault with his words and look for a dirty trick in them.

If a guy likes a girl, he will move mountains to see her smile every day and hear her laugh next to him. Remember this!

He just doesn’t like you too much if he is constantly trying to somehow change you and “fit” you into his imaginary ideal.

He just doesn’t like you too much if you have to constantly come up with dozens of excuses for why he didn’t call, was late or didn’t come at all …

He just doesn’t like you too much if he constantly makes you doubt yourself and your attractiveness and importance to him … doubt his feelings for you.

He just doesn’t like you too much if he constantly plays various games with you, like “cat and mouse”, “cold-warm” and “closer-further”.

He just doesn’t like you too much, if he is never around, when you need his support and help so badly … when you need his care so much.

If a man likes you, he will try to spend as much time with you as possible. He will adjust his schedule so that he does not miss the opportunity to see you.

He won’t call at the last minute in the middle of the night, or try to thwart your plans.

He will try to make a good impression on your friends and family, and will also introduce his friends and parents.

If a man likes you, he will think about what he can do for your happiness. He may not ask directly, but he will notice what brings you joy and will do more.

Men are in no hurry with words of love, but they can talk about “you like”. And if he is worried about you, if everything is serious with him, then he will let you know so that you no longer look for anyone else.

If he likes you, he will remember you even after the tsunami, flood or defeat of the Red Sox in the next match.

“Let’s start over?”: 16 signs that your ex wants to resume the relationship

The question of whether to give a relationship a second chance is one of the most difficult and painful to discuss. Among Hollywood celebrities, there are many happy and strong couples who, after parting, still tried to start from scratch and were able to regain their former feelings. However, how do you know if your ex is really determined to renew the relationship? We decided to compile a list of signs that indicate your ex is trying to get you back.

He is trying to get to know you better

It is worth noting right away: messages with birthday or New Year’s greetings do not necessarily mean that the ex-lover intends to resume the relationship. Perhaps he just wants to maintain companionship. But if the correspondence becomes more personal and a person regularly asks how you are doing at work, what is happening in the family, or simply asks what your mood is and how you spent the weekend, this may indicate that he is trying to get to know you again and regain lost trust.

He talks about his life

Nonetheless, anonymized Friday night messages like “Hello, how are you?” – not at all an indicator that a person is interested in renewing a relationship: he may just be bored. But if your ex is not only interested in your life, but also talks about his own, then this is already a serious signal. When a person shares his personal experiences and joys with you, it means that you are still dear to him and he wants to be closer to you.

He initiates communication

Another sure sign that you are still dear to him is that usually he is the initiator of communication: the first one calls and writes, finding even the most insignificant reason to contact you. Also, a good attitude is usually indicated by his quick response to your messages.

He comes up with strange reasons to speak to you

A person can come up with strange reasons to start a conversation with you – ask for your opinion on any issue, ask for advice in an area in which you are not an expert, or simply bombard you with messages like “You know, I watched the“ Game ”today of thrones “and suddenly thought of you.”

He needs your help all the time

Asking for help is another reason to subtly remind you of yourself and try to resume communication. Especially if your help is required at least several times a month and for the smallest reasons.

He leaves his things with you

If you broke up a few months ago, but your ex-boyfriend continues to regularly visit your home to pick up another forgotten thing, this also suggests that he is just looking for an excuse to cross paths with you.A forgotten passport or documents can be a great signal that a person wants to return.

He is interested in your personal life

Questions about your personal life and status can also indicate that the person would like to try starting over. However, do not place too high hopes on this point: if your ex was the owner and manipulator, he may continue to consider you his, even if the relationship is over.

He talks about being free

If your ex constantly hints at his free status, this may be a hint that he does not mind getting back together with you.

He asks your mutual friends about how you are doing

Your ex may be interested in your life through mutual friends. This is a rather unreliable point, but when considered in conjunction with several other signs, it can also be a signal that feelings are still being felt for you.

He is jealous

If everything is really over between you, then the ex will not react violently to messages that you began to date someone. But if you notice that the news of your new romance makes your ex feel depressed or jealous of you, this indicates that he may still have feelings for you and even hope for a reconciliation.

He tries to make you jealous

Attempts to flaunt your personal life on social networks, new photos with girls and posts like “Look how good I am without you!” say that the person wants to make you jealous. In this case, it is worth remembering that in a healthy and fulfilling relationship there is no place for feelings of jealousy: if your ex is trying to manipulate your feelings in this way, it may even be for the best that your romance is long in the past.

He follows your social networks

Often, after parting, couples unsubscribe from each other on social networks: this does not necessarily mean resentment – it is quite possible that people simply do not want to embarrass each other by posting photos from their new life. However, if your ex follows your social media closely – looking at stories, liking, and leaving comments – this is a sign that he is still thinking about you.

He remembers the time he spent with you

Your ex can hint that they still have strong feelings for you by sharing their memories of how good you were together. If he shares photos with you or invites the two to remember cute moments from your shared past, then you are still dear to him.

He says he has changed

The words that his life and he himself have changed for the better during the time that you no longer meet is another important sign. Thus, he is trying to show you that he has achieved personal growth and now wants to start communication from scratch.

He’s trying to figure out what went wrong

Attempts to figure out what went wrong and why your relationship ended abruptly may indicate that the ex wants to understand his mistakes and, possibly, improve in order to get you back.Nevertheless, one should not rely solely on this point: it is quite possible that a person wants to finally find out everything in order to put an end to it and never return to this issue.

He takes responsibility

Admitting mistakes and trying to correct your model of behavior is the surest signal that a person still loves you and wants to return you. We often tend to shift the responsibility for breaking up to the other half, but if your ex has admitted his share of the fault and apologized to you, it suggests that your love still has a chance.

Instead of a conclusion

It is very important to remember that you cannot get stuck on any one of the signs: individually, any of these signals may mean nothing. But when taken together, they can really serve as evidence that your relationship still has a chance.

But before you take any drastic steps, consider whether giving your love a second chance is worth it. It’s important to make sure you both accept and acknowledge your mistakes and are willing to change. And the most important thing is to remember the main reason for the separation and understand what has changed since then (and whether it has changed). Otherwise, you risk stepping on the same rake again: more often than not, you should make a strong-willed decision to finally break the painful connection and move on.
