With Mother’s Day right around the corner, these paper purse cards are a beautiful DIY. I must be in the mood to make purses! After making my paper purse treat boxes, I found myself making these paper purse cards! They were easy to whip together and are perfect for showcasing gorgeous papers. I have been working my way through the paper stack, Copper Luxury. I love all of the floral papers mixed with copper patterns – they were perfect for this project! These paper purse cards are incredibly versatile and would work with any pattern or color of paper. I recommend choosing three different papers that complement each other; one for the purse, one for the purse hardware and one for the bow 🙂

I’m sharing the free PDF pattern as well as the SVG cut file so you can make them too! If you use the SVG cut file, you’ll notice a quilted pattern layer that can be used with your scoring tool. This isn’t necessary, but it adds a nice texture to the paper. The card is held closed with a small Velcro dot, making it easy to open and close. Below is the tutorial and the free patterns!

DIY Paper Purse Card

Supplies Needed:

  • Free printable pattern – located at the end of this post!
  • Patterned paper for purse – 12″ x 12″. Double sided is nice!
  • Patterned paper for purse handle and latch
  • Patterned paper for bow
  • Velcro Dots
  • Cutting machine OR
    • Paper cutter and/or scissors
    • Scoring board and stylus
  • Envelopes: These will fit in an A6 envelope. The finished purse card measures 4.75″ x 5.875″

*I used paper from the stack, Copper Luxury by DCWV (not an affiliate link).

Assembly Tutorial

Step One: Cut all the pieces.

Cut out all of the pieces using the free printable pattern. If cutting it out by hand, you can add score lines with a scoring board and stylus. If you are using a cutting machine, import the SVG into your cutting software. I have a Cricut Explore so I imported the SVG into Cricut Design Space. The following steps are how I prepared the pattern before cutting it.

Open the SVG file and insert it into Cricut Design Space. There are two layers, in pink, that are score lines. Change these from cut lines to score lines. You will need to connect these to the right piece. To do this, first, “Select All” and then “Ungroup”. Highlight the score lines layer and the pattern piece they match up with and “Attach”. You are ready to hit “Go”.

Step Two: Create the bottom of the purse.

Fold up the bottom of the large purse piece along the score line. Attach the two half circles to the bottom corners of the purse. First, fold them in half and then apply with a glue stick or tape runner.

Step Three: Create the lid of the purse.

Attach the purse handle and latch pieces to the top of the purse. Fold along the bottom of the handle.

Step Four: Create the paper bow.

First take the large bow piece and bring the ends to the center and tape in place. I cut my tape into a 1/4″ wide piece and wrapped it around the center of the bow.

Cover this with the thin rectangle piece. I used a piece of tape on the back to attach it.

Add the two bow ends underneath with glue or tape.

Adhere the bow to the front of the paper purse, centered on the purse latch.

Step Five: Attach the lid to the bottom of the purse.

Adhere the lid of the purse to the bottom of the purse using glue. Apply glue to the handle of the lid and attach that to the handle of the purse bottom.

the Velcro dot closure. First, attach the soft dot to the underside of the purse latch. Stick the rough dot to the soft dot and then carefully close the purse card and the rough dot will be in the correct place.

These paper purse cards are so cute! You can write a message inside and use it as a card, tape a gift card inside and use it as a gift card holder, or even include party details inside and use it as an invitation! I’ll be using these as sweet Mother’s Day cards this year!

In the picture below, you can see the quilted pattern I added with the scoring tool on my paper cutter.

I have a few more Mother’s Day crafts to share with you over the next couple weeks, so I’ll be back soon! 🙂

UNIQUE HANDMADE DESIGNS

Minted has helped create and foster a community of independent artists from all over the world. Our mission is to support the personal development, creativity, and careers of artists by bringing their vision to life in the form of physical products and connecting them to customers who appreciate great design. Each pattern or print featured in our collection of personalized gifts was designed by an artist in our community and then hand-printed onto durable woven cotton fabrics. Minted’s CEO and founder, Mariam Naficy, personally sourced and curated this artisanal collection you see presented on this page. “I have always believed that our community of artists is at the heart of what makes Minted so special,” says Naficy. “For this collection, we knew we needed a new cool collaborator that valued high quality and artisanal design as much as we do. To find such a partner, we traveled to India, a country with a rich textile heritage that we were eager to discover. India is having a textile renaissance right now, as people are returning to more traditional practices of weaving and block printing. Our small team found ourselves in the middle of bustling New Delhi where we met with a small family-owned studio who calls textile printing and manufacturing a labor of love.” Together we put together a collection of expertly crafted bags with high-quality finishings like butter-soft leather straps and zipper pulls, hand-screened linings, and brushed copper buckles that best showcase our artists’ exceptional designs.

ADDING THAT PERSONALIZED TOUCH

For a gift she will cherish, add a complimentary personalized leather tag to any of our bags or pouches. Each tag is made of the same butter-soft neutral leather as the handles and other finishes to achieve a cohesive look. Easily customize your tag directly on our site with her name and initials and choose from six font options to best suit her style. Our tags measure 3 1/8″ x 3/4″, with ample room to support up to 12 characters. Once your order is placed, our small team hand-presses each letter in chic copper foil onto the leather for a beautiful debossed finish using a traditional foil heat press. The tag is then secured to her bag using brushed copper grommets to match the lettering and bag finishes. Each of our personalized bags is customized entirely by hand, carrying through the artisanal labor of love that starts in India and is finished by our team here in the U.S.

THE COLLECTION

Mariam Naficy had these words to say about our collection: “We love the human touch and care that went into the making of these fabrics, most of which were hand-screened. The result – beautiful patterns that you can treasure and personalize to make the perfect gift. We can’t wait for you to see what we made.” Allow Minted to introduce to you each item in the collection. We hope you love the personalized bags and gift selection as much as we do!

The Best Bachelorette Party Favors for Every Kind of Bash

Surprise your squad without breaking the bank.

There’s a lot to check off the list when planning a bachelorette party—especially if it’s a destination weekend away. With so much going on, we totally get it if you’re considering skipping bachelorette party favors. But while ditching the goodies might save a little time and money, there’s a reason favors are still a popular part of bach celebrations. According to our company data, favors are a highly anticipated part of the festivities, with 37% of female attendees stating that receiving swag is the aspect they enjoy most of all.  Not only that, but 43% of female respondents said that they expect favors to be handed out at upcoming bachelorette celebrations.

Of course, your bachelorette favors don’t have to cost an arm and a leg. As with any gift, it’s really the thought that counts. (And if the whole crew is pitching in for favors, they’ll appreciate a budget-friendly approach anyway.) When it comes to filling bachelorette gift bags, there are two ways you can go: Treat your squad to some fun and wearable items for the festivities, or gift them meaningful keepsakes to take home and enjoy afterward. No matter which way you go—and especially if you decide to do a combo of each—there are plenty of cute, inexpensive items to choose from. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite affordable party favors your guests will love. Yep, these unique ideas are all under $15 each—perfect for planning a memorable bachelorette on a budget.

What to Put in Your Bachelorette Gift Bags

Decided to put together bachelorette goodie bags for everyone in the “I do” crew? From welcome bags to hangover kits, there are so many different approaches. We suggest taking your cue from the bach party theme or location to help get you started. For example, a cute deck of cards is a great party favor for a Las Vegas bash, while a Disney-themed event might benefit from some adorable mouse ears for everyone to wear.

You should also keep the budget in mind while browsing bachelorette party gift bag ideas, since you’ll need multiple items for each attendee. One easy way to cut down on costs is to include one main gift in each person’s swag and fill the rest of the bag with items you can buy in bulk, such as candy, lip balm and sunglasses. (Psst, You’ll find plenty more options at The Knot Shop.) For the finishing touches, you should also consider including one or two personalized items (or stocking everything in personalized totes) to make each gift bag feel extra special.

The Best Bachelorette Party Favor Ideas

Whether you’re the bride-to-be picking up some fun bachelorette swag for your crew or you’re a dutiful MOH taking the lead on party favors, we’ve got some ideas for you. From glittery (and reusable!) drinkware to on-theme accessories, these bachelorette party gifts for guests won’t disappoint.

On the hunt for some bachelorette party favors to wear by the pool or on the beach? Whether you’re partying in Cabo or South Beach, a trendy pair of shades is essential to protect your gals from the sun (and add a stylish finishing touch to their outfits). These cat-eye heart sunglasses are emblazoned with the word “babe” and come in a choice of pink or black for the bridal party. For the guest of honor, pick up a pair of the white sunnies adorned with the word “bride.”

Another cute wearable favor for your crew? Matching caps embroidered with the words “the party” in colorful lettering. Get the bride-to-be a coordinating cap embroidered with “wife of the party” and everyone will get the pun.

If you’re looking for bachelorette thank-you gifts to thank your crew for planning an awesome celebration, it’s nice to hand over something personal they can hold onto. Trinket dishes are one of our favorite favor ideas, and these ones are pretty, practical and personalized to boot.

Looking for prizes you can give to bachelorette party game winners? Give this cotton waffle makeup bag to the winning bridesmaid. Or, if you want to give one to everyone in the audience, you can have the bags personalized with each person’s name or initials. Trust us, you’ll see these bad boys again on the morning of the wedding.

Sarongs are the bachelorette party trend of the year (not to mention, a super-cute way to twin with your crew). Choose between 34 different designs to suit the style, theme or location of the festivities.

Picking out bachelorette favors for guests is only half the fun—you also get to decide on presentation! Whether it’s welcome bags, hangover kits or party bags you’re putting together, your swag will look twice as nice in these retro “babe” drawstring bags.

There’s a reason sashes are a staple when it comes to celebrating an engagement. Give guests the royal treatment with these white and gold versions of one of the best bachelorette party favor ideas.

Searching for personalized party favors your guests will love? These stylish socks can be adorned with each guest’s wedding title, from the maid of honor to the mother of the bride. They’re the perfect bachelorette party swag for brides planning a cozy night in with their besties.

We bet you never knew affordable bachelorette party favors could be this cool. This colorful confetti card holder will adhere to the back of their smartphones so they don’t need to take their entire wallet out on the town. It’s the perfect accessory for nights out (just make sure to stick it on really well—the last thing you want is to spend the night hunting down lost property).

Got a crew that loves to let loose? Then these personalized shot glasses are an excellent bachelorette party gift bag idea. Bottoms up!

Including a few pampering products in your bachelorette party goodie bags will help everyone feel fresh as a daisy. Follow up a night of boozing with exfoliating face masks made from sugar, shea butter and strawberry seed oil.

Drinkware is a popular party favor for bachelorette festivities. Up the ante by swapping the usual wine glasses and travel tumblers with these chic, personalized pouches complete with cute heart-shaped straws. It’s an Insta-worthy option that’s easy to carry around on the beach, at the pool or wherever.

Here’s another awesome game prize your squad will be dying to win. It’s an adorable bamboo cheese board in the shape of a heart—how thematic!

Lip balm is a little gift everyone can use, especially if they’re going on a fun-in-the-sun bachelorette getaway. This cute and simple swag is the perfect addition to guests’ welcome bags.

It’s a good idea to have some unique bachelorette party giveaway prizes up your sleeve, especially if you’ve got a few games lined up. Anyone would be lucky to go home with these elegant flower-shaped soaps.

How about these glitzy key chains spelling out each person’s first initial? They’re a fun keepsake that can be attached to a handbag, car keys, backpack—the options are endless! No matter where your crew decides to keep these acrylic key rings, they’ll always be a reminder of an amazing bachelorette.

Any playful bach party—especially one that involves a trip to the casino—needs a few cute decks of playing cards. Store this bachelorette party swag in gift boxes or bags for your girls to open on arrival, alongside mini champagne bottles and some personalized drinkware.

Personalized tote bags are great bridesmaid gifts for pretty much any occasion, whether it’s the bridal shower, bachelorette or the morning of the wedding. If you’ll be hanging out poolside at the bach party, stock each one with a few sunny-weather essentials like sunscreen and monogrammed beach towels. Or, if you’re planning a city break, fill each guest’s tote with cute hair ties and matching tees that reflect the theme or destination.

Coasters are a fitting favor for a bachelorette party—after all, your girls will need somewhere to place their drinks! These gorgeous resin coasters can be personalized with each guest’s name and finished with a metallic gold rim.

We don’t know about you, but we’d be pretty darn delighted to see snug pairs of slippers in our bachelorette party loot bags. Have each pair personalized with the guest’s first initials in fancy cursive lettering so they really feel like royalty.

Show your bride squad just how well you know each and every one of them by including a book all about each person’s zodiac sign in your bachelorette party favor bags. Written by astrology expert Stella Andromeda, each book offers invaluable guidance based on your star sign.

Make every guest feel like a mermaid with their very own mermaid-tail can cooler. Keep your drinks and your celebrations chill with these unique and affordable bachelorette party supplies.

You don’t have to blow your budget to treat your crew to some jewelry. This personalized bracelet is a heartfelt gift guests can cherish forever. Choose between a gold, rose gold or silver hue to suit your wedding party’s style.

Not everyone is up for a boozy bachelorette weekend—and that’s totally fine. Throwing a bach party sans alcohol doesn’t mean you have to ditch the awesome drinkware. Swap out can koozies and champagne flutes for these gorgeous monogrammed coffee mugs. The pretty floral design is fitting for a tropical-themed bash.

The wedding cake is one of the highlights of the big day. Send your bachelorette squad home with a luxe candle in the scent of rich vanilla frosting and sponge cake. This budget-friendly bachelorette party favor certainly doesn’t look cheap (and it smells divine!).

Bottle stoppers are a low-key bachelorette party favor that won’t push you over budget. This fun pineapple-themed stopper is a simple addition to gift bags and a whimsical way to cork an opened bottle of wine.

Sweet treats are undeniably one of the best bachelorette party favor ideas. These gourmet macaroons are both creative and colorful—an ideal combination for a memorable event. Bonus: Your gluten-free friends can indulge too!

Packed Party has a variety of cool bachelorette party favors both from and for the bride-to-be. This colorful confetti cup doubles as an eye-catching bachelorette party decoration that’s sure to stand out in group photos.

Your squad will certainly want to freshen up in between the bachelorette and the big day. This luxurious mini body scrub will leave them feeling silky smooth and fabulous.

You can’t go wrong with compact mirrors personalized with each person’s name or wedding title. These small but personal favors are a great filler for goodie bags. Simply pop them in, finish each bag off with a handwritten bachelorette party gift tag, and you’re good to go!

Why not DIY a few bachelorette party gift baskets for everyone on Team Bride? Pair this fashionable and functional “cheers” bottle opener with a few beers or seltzers, custom koozies and some sweet bachelorette party treats.

What’s in my Purse: The Hospital Edition

We’ve had so much fun sharing the contents of our purses over the last couple of months! Just to recap, Sarah shared the contents of her purse in April, The Toddler Mom Edition — and last month I shared #whatsinmypurse, The Girl Mom Edition. So now I’m sharing what I’m packing for my impending trip to the hospital for the birth of Baby Brooklyn Olivia. As I learned with baby number two (Miss Emma Kate), you can never prepare too early. We’re calling this one, What’s in my Purse: The Hospital Edition.

Basic Toiletries for Mama

The hospital won’t have these items for you. You are going to want to take a shower, brush your teeth, and maybe even put on a little makeup (for photos or visitors) at some point during your stay. Trust me, you are going to want to have these items on hand in your hospital bag. Don’t forget your contact or glasses case (and solution) if you need them! Nipple cream is also a good thing to have — breastfeeding can be painful, especially in the beginning.

Comfortable Nursing Clothes + Bras

I am all for wearing the tacky gown the hospital provides during labor and delivery, and even immediately afterward; it’s kind of a messy ordeal. (There are some cute options you can purchase beforehand if you’d like.) But eventually, usually after the aforementioned shower, you are going to want to put on some of your own clothing. You will want to make sure the clothing is comfortable (read: loose-fitting), while your lady parts heal. I personally like to bring a beautiful, but comfortable robe  and a few nursing tops (or nightgowns). Nursing bras (and underwear) are also good to pack. But a word of advice, maybe don’t plan on bringing your favorite undies — you might even want to toss them in the trash when you get home. #justsaying

Reading Material

I always enjoy watching a little television at the hospital during my downtime (it’s rare to get a break from Disney Junior at the Tomes casa), but I plan to bring my iPad as well. I am downloading a few books in preparation for Baby Brooklyn’s birth — you’ve got to have something to do while breastfeeding. Or I can just watch Netflix. Either way.

Camera + Extra Batteries

You don’t want to forget these!

Cell Phone + Charger

These either.

Birthday Candle

We are planning to have a small “birthday celebration” photoshoot at the hospital with all of our girls. Mostly because I love cupcakes, and this seems like as good an excuse as any to have my hubby sneak some into the hospital. Also because I think this idea is super cute, and this is my last chance to make it happen.

Big Sister Gifts

I found these precious, matching “Big Sister” hair-bows at a local, neighborhood boutique. I am planning to surprise my two oldest with the bows when they come to the hospital to meet baby sister. I figure they can wear them for the aforementioned photoshoot. So cute, right?

A Special “Coming Home” Outfit for Baby

Nobody wants to bring baby home in the boring onesie the hospital provides. I just adore this precious outfit I received from one of my super sweet Baby Sprinkle hostesses — it’s the perfect “coming home” ensemble. (I’m a big time Featherbaby fan.) I am also bringing a few additional outfits for baby (for pictures and such). And a cute baby blanket (again with the pictures).

Nursing Pillow

Last but certainly not least, I am bringing my favorite Boppy nursing pillow. A necessity? Maybe not. But I love having it with me. Comfort is of the utmost importance to me when I am recovering from a birth. Call me frivolous, I really don’t care. A mama’s gotta do what a mama’s gotta do.

Destination Wedding Invitation Wording Etiquette and Examples

Finding the perfect destination wedding invitation wording can prove to be a real challenge.  For someone planning a very formal, traditional, hometown celebration, it makes sense to use the old’ tried & true invitation wording, “Mr & Mrs Jones request the honor of your presence as their daughter Judy Jones joins Thomas Smith in marriage ‘blah blah blah’…”

But a destination wedding is anything but traditional and the thought of that very stuffy wording might just give you the heebie-jeebies!  Not to mention that there’s a lot more information to communicate in a destination wedding invitation.  Throw in a post destination wedding reception and you might be scratching your head wondering where to start.

The ideal destination wedding invitation wording will excite your guests and inspire them to book that flight!  What you say, and how you say it will also reflect the romance, fun or uniqueness of your celebration while setting the tone for the level of formality –or lack thereof.   So in this post, I’m sharing some tips and examples of invitation wording that accomplish all of the above!

Destination Wedding Invitation Wording Tips

When you first start thinking about your destination wedding invitation wording, you’ll quickly realize that there’s a lot of information to communicate.   Not only do you need to let your guests know the time and venue– but also when, where, and how to book their trip.  Perhaps you’re planning pre-wedding events or a post-destination wedding hometown reception and want to also include that in your invitation wording but don’t know how to.  Here are a few tips to get you started:

First & Foremost, K.I.S.S.

Keep it simple & special. The last thing you want is to confuse your guests or overwhelm them with way too much information jammed into one card.  For destination weddings, your best bet is to send multi-card invitation suites or a multi-page booklet style invitation that allow you to break up all the details.

In addition to the basic information, your main invitation card can include a few words that (a) excite your guests about the location with mentions of the ocean, sea, sun, sunsets, or travel and (b) inspires them to make the trip by emphasizing why their presence is so important to you.

It sounds harder than it is.  Just check out some examples of invitation wording below to see what I mean.  The key is to keep it short. We live in a busy world.  People want to quickly skim through the text, get the point, and be told what to do – which brings me to my next point…

Provide a Clear Call to Action

Don’t just write some really cutesy wording and leave them hanging wondering what to do next! Tell them what to do.  For example, tell them to call your travel agent or RSVP via your destination wedding website.

Destination Wedding Invitation Wording for RSVP Card

RSVP cards for traditional weddings can be pretty bland.  But like everything else, you can get really creative and have some fun with your destination wedding invitation RSVP wording.  Here are just some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

Wording for Pre and Post Destination Wedding Events

Are you planning pre or post-destination wedding events at your destination?  If you don’t have enough room to include details in your invitation, just direct guests to your wedding website URL for more info.  For my own destination wedding, I planned a welcome cocktail reception and rehearsal dinner. I included those details in my destination wedding invitation wording.  Boarding Pass invitations and Passport invitations are perfect for this.  Here are some examples of destination wedding invitation wording for pre and post-wedding events.

Destination Wedding Invitation Wording Etiquette

How to Address the Issue of “No Kids” or “Adults-only” in Your Destination Wedding Wording

It’s common for destination weddings to take place at adults-only all-inclusive resorts. So how do you tell parents that their little bundle of joy is not invited to travel to your wedding? This is never easy and can be a really sensitive topic. And you have to approach it as such.

Most etiquette experts will tell you that simply addressing the invitation envelope to “Mr & Mrs Johnson” should imply that little Johnny Jr. is not invited. But what if that’s too subtle for some people?  You can always drop another hint with the wording used to communicate the name of the resort.

For example: “We’ve secured a discounted group rate at the all-Inclusive adults-only resort, Sandals.”

Then make sure you enlist the help of parents and the bridal party to spread the word verbally.

Destination wedding invitation wording to indicate you want no gifts

I hear this question over & over again “Our guests are already spending so much money on our destination wedding…or we’ve been living together for so long that we don’t need pots and pans. What’s the best invitation wording to let them know that we’re not expecting gifts?”

It’s a common sentiment.  I went through this exact dilemma when I was tying the knot.   So, what’s a gal/guy to do?

Avoid printing “no gifts” on the invitation.  Instead, you can carefully word the invitation with a gracious sentence such as: Your presence is the only gift we wish to receive.”  Sounds nice, huh? Not only do you get the message across that you don’t want gifts, without having to come out and say it, but you also flatter them in the process.  After all, who doesn’t want to feel like their mere presence is a gift?

But what if you just know that some of your guests will insist on bringing you a gift?  Here’s some fun wording that you can include on a separate card asking them to contribute to a honeymoon fund.

90,000 who has to pay the restaurant bill

The main rule of financial etiquette says “who invited, he pays.” But not all situations fall under this rule, so we will consider several scenarios.

1. Should the girl offer to split the bill on a date?

Some ten years ago, the answer to this question would have been obvious. Today, it is difficult to say with absolute certainty whether the girls show their independence, then the guys are European-style restrained in spending and support a partnership in financial matters.

“In my opinion, if you consider a date as a romantic meeting, you should not forbid your partner to please you. You will always have time to demonstrate your financial well-being and independence. The choice, of course, is for the girls, but I would ask the question: why? ”, Says independent financial advisor Saida Suleimanova.

Her position is easy to understand: firstly, she is a girl who does not share European views on this issue, and secondly, she is a financial consultant who teaches you to control costs and not throw money left and right. But this does not negate the truth: “On a romantic date, according to the rules of etiquette, the bill is given to the man, and the man pays for it,” emphasizes Marina Sagaidachnaya, an expert on business and social etiquette of the School of Etiquette. True, according to her, if the companion decisively insists that she will pay for herself, then her principles must be respected and she should be given such an opportunity.

In general, much in this matter depends on how the invitation sounded. “If a young man said,“ I’m inviting you to dinner, ”it means that he will be responsible for paying the bill.If the conversation between them was carried out in the form: “Let’s go to have lunch”, then the bill payment is divided equally. The girl can participate in the payment by offering to pay a tip. It is done in a simple and elegant way, ”explains etiquette expert Elena Vervitskaya.

In any case, girls shouldn’t go on dates without money at all. “A lady should always have a sufficient amount of money with her to pay for herself if unforeseen circumstances suddenly arise,” notes Marina Sagaidachnaya.

2.And if the guy and the girl are just friends?

On this issue, the experts are unanimous: everyone pays for himself. “There is a well-known truth at work here: do not confuse friendly relations with commodity-money relations,” notes Saida Suleimanova.

Besides, friends can always agree. For example, that today you pay the bill, says Elena Vervitskaya, and next time – your friend. “The main thing is to tie a knot for memory. Between close friends it turns out smoothly, ”says the specialist.

At the same time, if a “magic” phrase was uttered: I invite you, “regardless of gender, the inviter pays the bill,” says Nadezhda Kharlanova, another specialist in business and secular etiquette of the School of Etiquette.

3. Who pays for the business lunch?

In business etiquette, gender does not matter, men and women are equal colleagues, and status depends only on the position, says Nadezhda Kharlanova. Therefore, if the phrase “I invite you” sounded, then the same generous inviting party pays the bill.

“If no one invited anyone, the parties mutually decided to hold a business meeting in a restaurant (“ you can sit in a restaurant, discuss everything ”), in this case, each party pays the bill independently,” the expert says.

At the same time, as the financial consultant Saida Suleimanova recalls, usually partners are invited to important meetings, hoping for cooperation, so the costs are considered justified. In addition, business meetings can be written off as entertainment expenses, that is, in fact, they are paid by the company. “If the invitee insists on self-payment, perhaps this is a signal to think about what went wrong?” The financial consultant clarifies.

4. If the boss invited you to dinner – should you take your wallet with you?

If experts advise you not to go out on dates without money, then you should definitely take a map with you for lunch with the management.Again, you need to “feel” the difference between an invitation and an invitation to dine together.

According to Elena Vervitskaya, if lunch is a continuation of a business day, then the boss can pay for the first time. “If such dinners are repeated, we should return to the scheme: everyone pays for himself,” she said.

5. And what to do when you cannot determine: have you been invited or just invited to have dinner?

“Such confusion can ruin the whole experience of dinner or lunch,” says etiquette expert Elena Vervitskaya.”The payment mindset should be in the air already at the entrance to the restaurant: they pay for you because you were invited, or the partner’s lunch is paid equally.”

If the waiter brought the bill, but the partner, whom you did not invite, looks away and does not try to take part in the payment, then, according to Marina Sagaidachnaya, you should do it yourself without further ado. “It is indecent to argue over who pays in front of a waiter. But it is worth thinking about further cooperation with such a partner, ”advises Sagaidachnaya.

6. Is it appropriate to ask for a split bill at a restaurant?

Yes, all experts are unanimous in this opinion. It is best to inform the waiter about the split bills in advance – even when placing the order.

7. What to do when a partner tries to challenge the right to pay and pulls the invoice?

Give up, advises Saida Suleimanova. “Because our monetary behavior reflects our internal needs. Perhaps it is at this moment that your partner wants to please you or express gratitude in this way.Thank you sincerely and ask not to make it a habit, ”says the expert.

It goes without saying that it is definitely impossible to argue and thus attract the attention of those present. “In the future, in another suitable situation, you can always compensate for this (by an invitation to a business / romantic meeting on your part, a gift, a present, etc.),” Nadezhda Kharlanova reassures.

8. In what situation is it worth giving up lunch or dinner at someone else’s expense?

You should definitely reject “I am treating”, if the partner’s generosity causes discomfort, you feel obligated.“When you feel that something is expected of you and it is unpleasant for you,” continues Elena Vervitskaya.

Another case in which it is worth paying for yourself on your own is when you strive to leave everything as it is and maintain a distance with your partner, “you don’t want to translate relations into friendships or even closer ones,” adds Marina Sagaidachnaya.

But even when you refuse to accept your partner’s offer, you should definitely thank him.

9. Is the payment of the restaurant bill binding?

Of course, the consent of the person to the invitation and, as a result, the inviting party does not oblige to pay the invoice.Although it is possible that if this is a date, then the gentleman may think differently. “Dear ladies! You don’t owe anything to men. This man should be happy that he has the opportunity to spend time in such a pleasant company and chat with such a beautiful lady. And the duty of a lady is to look great, to be sweet and charming, to create a pleasant atmosphere for a meeting, to keep the conversation going, ”says Nadezhda Kharlanova.

10. What if there is not enough money to pay the restaurant bill?

Marina Sagaidachnaya from the School of Etiquette offers three scenarios for the development of events, if a man on a date or a partner at a business meeting who invited a colleague to a restaurant does not have enough funds to pay the bill:

  1. Leave the table and try to negotiate with the administrator. For example, offer him to leave a deposit (Compare.ru does not recommend leaving your passport to strangers, so it is best to use the phone for this purpose) and later deliver the missing amount.
  2. Call friends, relatives and ask them to send the missing amount to the card.
  3. As a last resort, explain the situation to the lady and ask her for a loan. “And the lady in such a situation needs to be offered to split the account. Try to do it very correctly. To make it clear that she is ready to accept his offer for the next date, to give him the opportunity to “rehabilitate himself,” says Marina Sagaidachnaya.

Buzova’s purse: her role in the Moscow Art Theater showed her main skill

+
A

They do not want to be accepted as an actress, but they persistently pull on the stage

If from the theatrical appearance of Olga Buzova on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater they wanted to extract as much noise as possible, then all participants in this venture can open champagne for wild success. Laughter, applause, angry comments, incredible excitement and, of course, the already traditional question: “How does she do it?”

Since the commercial enterprise burst into the theater, the sanctity of the stage has clearly faded. Previously, the phrase “touring chache” had a direct relationship only to despicable pop music, but the show economy turned into a conveyor belt even what was considered highbrow art. Inviting to theatrical performances those who, under the previous order, were not allowed to even get a cannon shot from the temples of art, became a common practice even in the pre-Buz era.

Experienced theatergoers probably remember (and perhaps at one time were indignant about uninvited guests on decent stages) how Kristina Orbakaite, together with Irina Kupchenko and Alexander Mokhov, played in the play “Monday after the Miracle” based on the play by William Gibson. As Alena Sviridova very vividly noted in the production of the “School of the modern play” “The Seagull. A real operetta ”. And Sergei Lazarev has the right to be called a theater star after the great success of Romeo and Juliet, Borrow a Tenor, Talents and Admirers, The Marriage of Figaro. However, Sergei, unlike many of his colleagues, still has an acting education.

From the giants of television, Leonid Yakubovich played on the theater stage, who traveled around many cities with the play “Bless you, monsieur.”“Of course, I took a risk, because I understood that uncles and aunts with lips would come to the first performances, saying:“ Well, he also climbed onto the stage, now we’ll see how he does it. ” And so it was at first, but over time it all faded away. Those with whom I played, they pulled me out, I followed them, and in any case in this performance, I was accepted as an actor, “Leonid Arkadyevich said in an interview with MK.

Judging by the reaction to the role of Olga Buzova in The Wonderful Georgian, they do not want to accept her as an actor yet.Although, given all the acting attempts of a celebrity, it could already be.

Buzova’s theatrical debut, by the way, took place eleven years ago, when the TV personality replaced the actress Maria Kozhevnikova in the play “Gorgeous Wedding”. If you count the films and TV shows where Olga played either herself or almost herself, then there are already about a dozen of them. It makes no sense to look for outstanding roles among them, of course, but the whole Buzov doctrine does not imply masterpieces.

Buzova in the role of Bella Chantal sang from the stage of the Moscow Art Theater: awkward footage

Watch the related video

Since Olga got into the show “Dom-2”, and this happened in 2004, when no one had heard of any instagram and tick-tok, Buzova clearly wanted to make a career on the principle of “360 degrees”.That is, it is not enough to be just a singer, actress or TV presenter. You need to be all of them, and also release your clothes, perfumes, open restaurants, come up with your own currency and, possibly, fly into space.

It would be very naive to believe that with such broad interests there is a chance to make a lasting impression on the public in at least one of these areas. Even Morgenstern, who is sometimes not very rightly called the male version of Buzova, has the ability to write or create conditions for writing very tenacious melodies.Olga does not do this. In the same way, she is not an interesting blogger, charismatic actress, girl obsessed with the food or fashion industry.

But she has an enviable knack for capturing public attention. Many are really interested in how this lady, not seven inches in the forehead, will manifest herself in a sphere where she, it would seem, has no chance. And over the years, Buzova has mainly succeeded in creating an interesting character out of herself. And these always attract attention.

Therefore, to blame Olga for the fact that she persistently climbs somewhere, to put it mildly, is not very correct.First of all, she is persistently drawn to TV, cinema, theater, advertising. They pull because they are confident in the impossibility of selling new shows and products without a recognizable face and a scandalous train. Because they want to attract millions of Buzova’s subscribers to areas that now look catastrophically out of fashion. Finally, because they believe in the possibility of making money on Buzovaya. True, so far there is a feeling that Olga puts in her wallet much more than those who expect to profit from her fame.

90,000 “If your man comes to you for discharge from the hospital, we will turn around and leave!” – the father said to his daughter

– My husband and I are shocked at all! – says fifty-year-old Natalya Olegovna.“What this young man, if I may say so, created her entire pregnancy, is neither to say in a fairy tale, nor to describe it with a pen … And he sent her to an abortion, and kicked her out of the apartment they rented. And he shouted everywhere that the child was not his – she walked up, they say. I was exhausted all my nerves, honestly!

– I see …

– At the end, about three weeks before the birth, it seemed to have quieted down, I heard, Alice began to ring, spoke normally, without arrivals already, was interested in how health, as a child, who will be, when. But at the same time, he himself did not come even once for all the time that she was with us, he did not buy a single cap for the child, not a single apple for her… On Thursday, our grandson was born! They will be discharged tomorrow. And so my daughter and my husband declares that Sergey will take them from the hospital. We just fell out! After all that happened …

– Well … Maybe the man has embarked on the path of correction? Does it make sense to give him a chance?

– I do not know where he stood there, but my father and I are categorically against this! Support, I say, did not see from him the entire pregnancy, he did some nasty things! Where will he take her with the child at all? Alice says he rented a one-room apartment in Zheleznodorozhny … Well, isn’t it nonsense, with a newborn – in some kind of bug, not even in Moscow, but no one knows where! Alice’s father generally said – if this freak, they say, appears for discharge, we will turn around and leave, live on yourself, as you know …

Alice, daughter of Natalya Olegovna and her husband, twenty-six years old.Nice sweet girl, sweetheart daughter, the only child in the family. A year and a half ago, Alice began to meet with Sergei, who did not like her parents very much.

Sergei has no education, he studied at school, but, according to him, he just stupidly did not go to take exams for the eleventh grade. Although Natalya Olegovna suspects that she did not pass even for the ninth, she simply does not say this so as not to look pale at all.

Sergei works as a loader in a furniture company, and, more than hopes, earns good money. For a person of his level, with absolutely no education, it is just so beautiful. Sergey’s official salary is ridiculous, but he leaves mainly for part-time jobs and tips. A person orders, for example, new furniture, hefty guys bring it to him, and he asks to disassemble the old one and take it out. Sometimes this old one is quite decent, you can even sell it, the owner does not mind – take it and do what you want.

In general, they mouse over something, spin, and it turns out fine.

Alisa, unlike Sergei, has a higher education, she is a marketer, before the decree she worked in an advertising agency, wore suits and heels, dated men of the same level. But out of nowhere, this Sergey appeared on the path of life. They brought some furniture to Alisin’s office, or something. So we met.

– They began to live together in spite of everything.! – says Natalya Olegovna. – All her friends were shocked, no one understood, in my opinion …

And then there was a sudden pregnancy. Sergei desperately did not want to get married and for almost all nine months he was exhausting the nerves of the whole family. Alice went to her parents, and they were preparing for the appearance of the baby. They made repairs in the former Alice’s room, bought things for the child, paid for the birth in a good clinic.

– And now he appeared, beckoned her with a finger – and everything, everything that we have done does not mean anything! – Natalya Olegovna almost cries. – She is ready to leave us and go to him, it is not known which apartment with the child. after everything that happened. That’s what good parents should do in that case, huh? Let go and wish you happiness? Wait for the next time she comes in tears and slippers on her bare feet? And this will happen sooner or later!

Do you think it is normal to issue an ultimatum to a daughter who has given birth just the other day: “If he comes, we will leave”? Is it more correct to support your child in his decision? I decided to forgive and give my bloody husband a second chance – so so be it?

Or can you understand the parents?

What do you think?

Product description

To the open, I would declare that the thing is fabricated adequate. Under these circumstances, it is very difficult to continue to operate in something of reasonable quality at a given cost.
The material feels good and strong, so the product can serve you for a long time.In my opinion, this is very important in products of this kind.
When surfing the Internet, there are often many products available for an unfair price, but the quality is nevertheless significantly worse.
In this respect, it makes no sense to judge the quality of a product based on its price.

I also liked that Business Men leather wallet Short Youth wedding invitations with mens wallet Credit card holder wallet supposedly very convenient. For me personally, this factor is one of the first things that I pay attention to.
I sometimes happened to buy what looked like a high quality product, but what turned out to be too inconvenient.

Often you also pay respect for the appearance of the material. I think a lot of people would agree, this Business Men Leather Wallet Short Youth Wedding Invitations with Men Wallet Credit Card Holder Wallet looks pretty pretty although some may not feel that way

If you compare it to other similar models I have found on other sites, no doubt this one is more than good. Its price-performance compromise is good.
This quality is definitely worth the money. I don’t like to overpay when there are items of comparable quality at the best price.

Overall, I would say the item is definitely worth your money. I’m happy I ran into this and got it.
