In this post, we’re going to take a look at 27 different examples of good-to-high-end cable management. So, if you’re looking for some inspiration for wiring your upcoming build, these examples should get you going in the right direction.
If there is any aspect of building a new PC setup that most often gets overlooked, it’s cable management. If you don’t know what cable management is (in reference to building a PC or battlestation), it can be summed up as the act of routing the cables in your computer or behind your desk in such a way to where they look clean and organized and to where they aren’t obstructing the air flow in your computer’s case.
Now, I’m not a cable nazi by any means. I do think that, for the most part, a moderate effort to keep the cables away from your motherboard and case fans is, in most cases, a good enough effort as long as your main goal is to build a PC that will allow you to play your favorite games.
However, I do really appreciate flawless cable management. There are not a whole lot of things in life that I find more appealing than a clean-looking computer with excellent cabling.
And, if you want more than just a gaming PC—if you want something that is really attractive and impressive—then you need to make sure your cabling is on point.
In order to help you get an idea of what good cable management looks like and to inspire your new upcoming build, I’ve collected a few examples of some really good cabling.

If your cable management is good, an extreme custom liquid cooling setup can take attention away from your cables altogether. If your cable management is bad, no matter how cool your liquid cooling loop looks, your system won’t look great. If you have a big case and you don’t do a great job on your cables, it’s not the end of the world. However, if you’re building a small form-factor gaming PC and you don’t put emphasis on good cable management, you’re going to get yourself into a bind. This, though, is a good example of cable management in a small case.

This is a good example of cable management, for sure, however, it also shows how much a good case can make making your cable look nice that much easier. The red panel that goes over the power supply and extends along the side of the case’s side panel makes it really easy to hide all of the cables from the power supply.

This isn’t the first example of cable sleeves in this post, but I figured I’d post a closeup of some good sleeving. Really, cable management is all about efficiently directing your cables so as to keep them as clean-looking and as out-of-the-way as possible. However, sleeving allows you to add an element of style to your cables.

Another example of how a power supply shroud can hide a huge bulk of messy cables and create a nice, clean look. Using a PSU shroud may not qualify as ‘good’ cable routing per se (afterall, there could be a mess under there!), but it does help hide your cables and make your system look better.

There’s obviously nothing fancy here… no sleeves, no sleek color scheme, no PSU shroud, etc. It’s just good cabling in an affordable system.

Not a completed project, but this is a good example of items you can use to improve upon your cabling behind and under your desk. Using a cable tray and mounting your power strips underneath your desk can help you hide the rat’s nest of cables that so often ruin the overall look of battlestations and gaming setups.

Aside from how incredible this build is, one thing it does well is utilizing cable combs. Essentially, cable combs are a great tool to organize a group of cables so that you can condense them and make them look much cleaner and more organized. Since wiring a 4-way GPU configuration can be somewhat messy and difficult to get in place, these custom cable combs make the job much easier and give it a sleeker look.
How Good is Your Cable Management?
Again, these are examples of some of the best cable management out there. If you are simply looking to build a computer that will allow you to play your games on the highest settings and you don’t care what the inside of your PC looks like, you don’t necessarily have to take your cabling to the extreme some of these setups have.
However, you should put some effort into your cabling so as to ensure that your case maintains good airflow.
And, if you are looking to put together a really nice-looking setup, hopefully these examples have given you some ideas. In an upcoming post, I’m going to go over a handful of tips you can implement in your new build that will help make cable management a bit easier.

A Comprehensive Computer Cable Management Guide
The computer desk has come in many forms and is used by people for various reasons. Whether that be an office cubicle, a home workspace, or a gaming station, there is always one constant: cable clutter. For one reason or another, you’re going to be stuck with at least a few unsightly tech cords running underneath or behind your desk.
These can be difficult to manage without a little planning and the right tools. Let’s cover the basic desk cable management options that are suited for each user.
But First, Why Even Manage Your Cables?
Basic cable management can be beneficial for not only aesthetics but also safety. Twisted and unorganized cables are at more risk of causing sparks which can lead to fires. Managing your cords will give you more efficiency in accessing and maintaining your equipment. Decluttered cables will of course make for a more visually appealing environment, which may also contribute to cognitive ergonomic benefits. Fewer things visible at your desk = fewer distractions = more focus!
VESA Mount with Tray: While not technically a cable management system, our small form factor VESA mount with a tray will keep your mini pc and power cord organized right behind your monitor. These cables will then follow along with the rest of the monitor cables, creating a more streamlined cable management process. Some office spaces like call centers will provide small form factor PCs, so sticking them behind the monitors will give more breathing room in those tight cubicles.
Floor Cable Covers: These channels provide protection for cords that need to be run along high traffic areas. Cable covers can be used on most floor surfaces, and may even come in a color that matches. You can safely run carts or office chairs over these without worry.
Under-Carpet Wireways: Similar to the floor cable covers, wireways are installed underneath the floor surface. This provides invisible cable management and prevents any damage to the cables. Open floor office layouts that have large rooms with desks positioned in the center would benefit greatly from these hidden channels.
Under Desk Cable Tray: If your computer or other equipment is mounted beneath your office desk, our cable tray can be a great complement to help corral cords from many places into one manageable location. Add a power bar inside to have all the power cords come to this one spot, with only a single power bar cord needing to make its way to the nearest outlet. Trays make cable management under your desk easy!
Cable Cabinet: This sneaky and effective method of hiding cable clutter is a more custom option for home office builds. Match the finish and style of surrounding drawers and cabinets to keep everything matching and seamless. Having access to all your cords and outlets by simply opening the cabinet doors is an easy way to add and remove equipment from your setup.
Cable Grommet: Drill a large enough hole in the surface of your desk for all your topside cables to run through. Then install a grommet so the cords can safely be fed into the hole without worrying about the rough desk edges. This can help manage cables when there isn’t an option of running them behind the desk. Cable grommets look like they are intentionally part of the desk design, which adds a certain level of quality that you would be proud to have in your home.
Wall Cable Channel: If you’ve decided to mount your monitor to the wall, the cables that run down to your desk won’t have a monitor leg to hide behind. These cable channels can be installed along the wall to keep cables organized and invisible. For a professional finish, paint the cable channel the same color as your wall.
Cable Loop Ties: The most common option for cable management, cable ties are an easy way to bundle up a cluster of cords into a manageable form. It’s a semi-permanent solution, but cable ties are cheap and easy to cut and replace when needing to add more cables to the group. Gamers who build their own PCs will also find these useful to organize all the cables inside their computer tower.
Cable Tie Mounts: More organization for your organization? Our cable tie mounts will utilize the tie to not only bundle up cables, but also to fix the bundle to most surfaces. Run a few of these along the backside of your desk to effectively hide the majority of the cables. They can also be used to create interesting wall cord patterns at interesting angles for those gamers who like to show off their gaming setup and mount everything visibly on the wall.
Cable Sleeve: Cable ties don’t always give the aesthetic appeal that people are looking for in cable management, so sleeves are a great way to achieve that. If you’re preparing your PC for recycling, installing new components, cleaning your hardware, or simply examining its contents – use our PC disassembly and assembly guide.
Our guide shows typical assembly methods for your computer, however models and manufacturers may vary.If you cannot access any part described in the manual, go to the instructions for removing other parts, and then return to the original part.
Disassembling a PC normally involves removing all cords and cables between the components of the computer, then removing the parts from the chassis or frame. Components can be attached to the body using special clamps, screws, or inserted into holders. In all cases, extraction does not require significant effort.If the part does not move, find the fasteners that hold it in place.
You will need a small Phillips or flathead screwdriver, depending on the manufacturer. It is wise to wear gloves as the metal edges inside the case can be sharp.
When disassembling the computer, document what was removed from where, how to remove it, and which cables are connected where. You can either record or take photos. Watch out for the screws. Stack the screws next to the removed components, install the screws in their original holes on the components or on the chassis, or fasten to the desired locations.
Turn off the computer, unplug the power cord, and disconnect all peripherals (keyboard, mouse, monitor, headset, and external drives).
Wear a grounding strap or touch an unpainted metal surface of the computer to discharge any electrostatic charge. If you are walking on carpeted floors, touch an unpainted metal surface of the computer again to discharge any electrostatic charge.
To disassemble the computer case, remove at least one side cover. Usually the right one is removed (when looking at the computer from the front). Removing both sides can provide better access to the components. The screws on the covers can sometimes be removed without a screwdriver. This simplifies the process.
Disconnect all connections, remove all card readers and built-in DVD players.They are usually secured with screws.
Remove all freestanding fans. At this point in disassembling your PC, it’s time to clean the dust and pet hair from the fans (if you plan on using them further).
Disconnect the cables and remove the storage.Typically, drives are secured with multiple screws. If you have a hard drive, handle it carefully. Impacts can damage internal components.
Remove the memory modules by pressing the latches down on the sides. They will push the module out and it can be easily removed. Do not touch the gold contacts on the microcircuits of the disassembled computer (if you intend to continue using this module).If the module will not be used, then find out how it can be used for other purposes.
Remove the PSU by disconnecting the remaining connections and unscrewing the PSU from the frame.
Remove all adapters and expansion cards from the motherboard. Usually these cards are installed in slots, but they can also be fastened with screws. If you are going to return this card to its place after disassembling the PC, then you should not touch its gold contacts.
Disconnect all cables from the motherboard, unscrew the board itself from the computer frame: first, loosen all the screws in a circle, and then unscrew. This will prevent the board from bending, the mechanical stress will be relieved gradually.
All components are now removed from the computer. If the case will be used further, now is the time to clean it of accumulated dust and wool.
How to build a computer
When assembling the computer, the components are installed in the reverse order, starting with the motherboard. Reconnect all cables as you install components. Most will be connecting the motherboard and power supply.
Congratulations, you have disassembled and possibly reassembled your computer!
When installing a new top cover, remove the power button board, touchpad board, and fingerprint reader board from the old top cover. Then install them onto the new top cover.
Place the top cover in the desired position on the main chassis so you can reach the connectors for the keyboard, touchpad, fingerprint reader, keyboard indicator, and power button board on the system board.
Carefully insert the power-button board ribbon cable into the power-button board connector on the system board and press down on the latch to secure the cable in place.
Carefully insert the keyboard indicator ribbon cable into the appropriate connector on the system board and gently press down on the latch to secure the cable.
Gently slide the fingerprint reader ribbon cable into the connector on the system board and press down on the latch to secure the cable in place.
Carefully insert the keyboard ribbon cable into the appropriate connector on the system board and press down on the latch to secure the cable in place.
Carefully insert the touchpad buttons board ribbon cable into the appropriate connector on the system board and press down on the latch to secure the cable in place.
Lower the top cover into place on the main body . ..
… and press down on the edges of the top cover to slide it into place.
Close the display panel and turn the computer over to reinstall the two screws in the optical drive bay that secure the top cover to the main chassis.
Replace the two 4.5 mm Phillips-head screws securing the top cover to the main body.
Replace the sixteen 6.5 mm Phillips-head screws securing the top cover to the main body.
Install the mylar cap nut onto the main body.
Replace the rear corner covers.
Align the corner covers with the main body and press down on the corner covers to lock them in place.
Replace the Phillips-head screws that secure each of the corner covers to the main body.
Replace the two rubber feet on the main body.
Reinstall the optical drive.
Replace the battery.

When I heard a debate about the causes of this phenomenon in the circle of programmers with MacBooks for the tenth time, it became clear that it was time to write an article. Sometimes this effect manifests itself as a slight vibration when the skin and metal parts of the laptop touch, sometimes as a tingling sensation.
Short answer: your computer case is energized ~ 110V (half of the mains voltage), but because of the small amperage it does not hit you too hard.
For electrical engineers, this is commonplace: for the same reasons, in houses with old wiring, a washing machine can be shocked when you touch a bathtub, a desktop computer case, etc.e. This topic has been raised on the Internet many times, but until now most people do not know about the reasons for this phenomenon. The situation is complicated by the fact that the design of the power supply unit in European MacBooks does not allow getting rid of this phenomenon!
Why is this happening?
Typically, a tingling sensation occurs when a person touches some grounded metal surface, such as the radiator of a battery under a desk, while simultaneously holding their hands on a metal part of the computer.In my case, it was the grounded metal edge of the countertop. If you touch the edge of the tabletop and the MacBook at the same time, a noticeable tingling sensation appears in your hands.
And this is a completely normal situation. The fact is that there is a noise filter in the computer’s power supply circuit, the filter input is made on two capacitors connected on one side to each of the 220-volt network wires, and on the other, their common point is connected to the case. The result is a voltage divider of 220 volts in half.From here comes 110 volts on the case.

As you can see, both capacitors are connected to protective earth (yellow wire E), which in turn is connected to the device body. If the power supply is connected to a socket without grounding, then half the voltage of the mains voltage appears on the case. At the same time, the current in this circuit is small, but it is quite enough to cause discomfort or slight sparking if you touch it with another device with the correct ground.Thus, you can observe small sparks when trying to connect two devices with a cable in cases where one of them is connected to a socket with a ground, and the other is not.

How to properly shut down your computer – shutdown rules
After you finish using your computer, you should shut it down correctly – not only to save energy, but also to save information and protect your computer from damage.
There are three ways to shutdown the computer :
- Press the computer’s power button;
- Click the Shut Down button (sometimes called the Power button) in the Start Menu ;
- or, if it is a laptop, close the lid.

Pitfalls in assembling a PC: instructions for buying and assembling
There are many configurations on the desktop market today to suit any task and any budget.Nevertheless, it is still more profitable not just to buy a ready-made assembly, but to select the necessary components for your tasks and assemble the PC yourself.
In this article, we will understand the aspects of this process: we will discuss what pitfalls are, and how to avoid them. The first half of the article is devoted to the selection of components and their compatibility with each other, and in the second half, general assembly instructions are given.
Motherboard and processor
When assembling a PC, first of all, they choose motherboard and processor – the performance of the entire computer depends on these two components.
At this stage, it is important to consider the compatibility of the motherboard and the processor: the socket must match. Component compatibility can be checked here or on any other site with the same functionality.
A socket is a connector on the motherboard through which the processor connects to it and communicates with the rest of the system. Sockets come in a variety of sizes and pin configurations. Difficulties can sometimes arise.
Intel LGA 1151 socket has two revisions: Rev. 1 and Rev. 2 . The second version is not compatible with processors released earlier than the 8th generation. (This article considers only standard compatibility in accordance with the recommendations of component manufacturers) It is easy to distinguish between motherboards of the first and second revisions, you need to pay attention to the chipset. An eighth and ninth generation processor will be compatible with the motherboard if the motherboard name is a 300 series chipset – for example, h470 or Z390 .

However, this only works with one graphics card. If you are thinking about a configuration with two video cards, just having two PCIe 3.0 slots is not enough – the motherboard chipset must support technologies for working with two video cards.Depending on the vendor, this is AMD CrossFire or Nvidia SLI.
It is also worth clarifying how many power pins the video card requires – this parameter is denoted as 6 , 8 , 8 + 6 , 8 + 8 or 8 + 8 + 6 . The choice of the power supply will depend on this.
Like a motherboard, a video card takes up quite a lot of space inside the case, so the size of the video card also affects the choice of the case form factor.
When installing RAM, you need to take into account the parameters of the motherboard: how many slots it has and what generation of RAM it supports. So if you install DDR4 RAM on a motherboard with DDR4 support and enough DIMM slots, then everything should work.
It is important to consider here that there is no backward compatibility between generations: it will not be possible to install DDR3 memory in a DDR4 socket and vice versa.Also, for 99% of desktop PCs, SO-DIMM RAM, which is intended for laptops, will not work.
It is also important to consider what parameters the motherboard and processor support: what is the maximum amount you can set, what is the maximum memory speed, is there support for multi-channel RAM configurations. Carefulness in this aspect helps not to overpay: if the motherboard and processor do not support high operating speed, then there is no point in overpaying for expensive and high-speed RAM, because its potential will be limited.
The same is true for volume – you can’t have more RAM than the processor or motherboard supports. For most mainstream models, this range is from 64 to 128 GB, but there are values and higher.
Which is better – one 8GB memory module or two identical 4GB memory modules ? In short, several modules will work more efficiently, since the multi-channel mode will be used.It increases memory bandwidth – more data is transferred and the system runs faster.
Before installing the RAM, it is advisable to find the section “Installing the memory” in the manual for the motherboard, which describes in detail the RAM connectors, their marking and installation scheme for working in multichannel mode.
In most motherboards, for convenience, the RAM slots are painted in different colors – then we install two memory modules in two slots of the same color.
But sometimes slots are colored in the same color and some other markings of connectors and channels are used. If it is not clear in which slots you need to install memory to work in multi-channel mode, then adhere to the following rule: install modules in the same slots with a lower number – for example, in slots named “Channel A DIMM 0” and “Channel B DIMM 0”.
When assembling a desktop PC, the power supply unit ATX-standard is most often used.The choice of power supplies is wide enough.
The power supply unit must be selected for the power of the remaining components with a small margin in case of an upgrade.
For reliability, it is better to pay attention to power supplies of well-known brands. It is also desirable that the power supply has been certified for 80 PLUS energy efficiency – for example, Bronze or Gold .
The hotter the processor, the more powerful cooler will be required.Most modern coolers are suitable for a whole range of sockets at once, but there may be some nuances, so it is better to check the compatibility of the cooler with the socket on the motherboard when buying.
It is also important not to be mistaken with the size of the tower cooler, if needed. Some case form factors may not accommodate it – usually these are compact and narrow cases for “quiet assemblies”.
Cable management is also important for cooling the computer – laying cables inside the system unit.Leaving cables as they are will interfere with airflow and can enter cooling fans. Therefore, when assembling your computer, you must carefully route the cables.
In some cases, you can hide most of the cables behind the motherboard – this greatly simplifies the whole process and the finished system unit looks neat in this case.
Neatly laid cables help not only cool down, but also maintain service, making it easier to remove dust and replace components.
There are two storage options – hard drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD). Hard drives are cheaper and larger, solid-state drives are more expensive and smaller in volume, but at the same time they speed up the system.
HDDs and most SSDs now use the SATA 3 interface. Typically, modern motherboards have four to six of these ports – even for a gaming PC, this is enough.
However, SATA 3 is not the fastest interface, so there is an alternative – SSD NVMe SSDs, which instead of SATA 3 use the M.2 or pci-e . M.2 is a compact slot that allows you to install an SSD on your motherboard. Most modern motherboards have at least one slot for these SSDs.
After selecting the basic components, you can go to additional equipment – network cards , Wi-Fi modules , optical drives . Such modules are selected according to your needs and tasks.
Above, we have repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that when choosing a case, it is important to pay attention to the form factor of the motherboard and video card – these large components must fit into the case.
How to Build
Now there are so many components and cases on the market that it is impossible to take into account all the details and list all the nuances. Always refer to the instructions for your specific component. In this article, we examined the most common case without correcting for the individual characteristics of your PC.
The first step in the assembly is to install the processor on the motherboard. On one of the corners of the processor there is a mark that needs to be oriented to the same mark on the motherboard socket.The processor should fit into the socket easily and effortlessly. After installation, we fix the processor with a special clamp.
It is important not to put too much pressure on the processor, because there is a possibility of crushing the contact legs – then you will have to contact the service center for a fee, because this is a non-warranty case.
The next step is installing a cooling system on the processor. There are many mounting options, so it is important to study the illustrated instructions for a specific cooler model.
Before installing, remove the protective film from the cooler base and thinly and evenly apply thermal paste to the processor cover – it is either already applied to the heatsink base or is included in the kit.
Some tower coolers may overlap the RAM slots and mounting screws, so you will have to install the cooling after placing the motherboard in the case and connecting the memory sticks.
Moving on to to install memory modules .We insert them into the DDR slots, find a special cutout on the contact group, combine it with the key in the slot and fasten the modules with clamps on both sides. In some boards, movable latches are located only on one side – then first we insert the module into the fixed latch.
After we have connected the motherboard, processor, cooling and memory modules, we move on to to the case.
We remove the side walls of the case and install the power supply unit at the bottom of the case: place the power supply unit with the fan down, fasten it with four screws and pass the cables through the holes behind the motherboard tray.

We connect PCI-E power cables to the video card.Typically, the connectors on the power supply panel are labeled and the connectors are labeled. We also connect power to the drives, then carefully lay the cables behind the motherboard tray and fix them with cable ties.
The last stage is cooling unit . A case usually comes with several fans. At a minimum, you need two fans: one for blowing on the front panel, the other for blowing out on the rear or top panel of the case. 10 errors that will kill your PC motherboard
1. Incorrect installation of the processor in socket

If you install the processor incorrectly, it will not sit in the socket. Use force – damage both the processor feet and the socket on the motherboard. Not every service center will undertake the elimination of such damage, and it is not a fact that the repair will be possible at all.
Before inserting the processor into the socket, orient it as directed by the manufacturer. On the socket and on the processor, you can find labels – the so-called keys. It is necessary to combine the key on the processor with the key on the socket, and the “stone” seems to fall into the socket without force.
2. Too generously smeared with thermal paste

On the question of how to properly spread thermal paste, quite a few copies have been broken on the Internet.
Most often it is recommended to squeeze a little paste into the middle of the processor heat-distribution cover – a drop of a grain of rice, about one gram.The paste will smear itself when installing the cooler pressure plate. This is the classic method. If you apply less or more thermal paste, it will only worsen the thermal conductivity.
Craftsmen from the Net, by the way, found out that the most even distribution of thermal paste will be obtained if it is applied crosswise on the lid.
But this is a tricky way, more suitable for overclocking enthusiasts.
But spreading the paste with a spatula or credit card, as some collectors advise, is not worth it.If you spread it over the entire surface before installing the cooler, then when you press the heatsink against the processor, excess paste will spread out of the heat-distribution cover. This could lead to a short circuit. So don’t go overboard with thermal paste – one drop and that’s it.
3. Touching the contacts
Inexperienced assemblers grab electronic components with dirty hands and run their fingers over the contacts, and then wonder why the computer does not start.
Human hands are covered with sweat secretions and are wet.Dirty contacts can cause various problems, ranging from incorrect registration of RAM or initialization errors to complete system failure.
Do not touch electronic components with your fingers, especially the gold-plated contacts of the video card and RAM, as well as the processor legs. Hold the components gently by the edges, and first wash your hands with soap and water and dry with a clean towel.
Ideally, anti-static nitrile gloves should be worn prior to assembly.
If you do get dirty, you can use a cleaner for electrical contacts, which can be bought at computer supply stores, radio parts or even auto parts stores. But it is better not to bring it to such a point.
4. Static electricity

If you build a computer while standing on your grandmother’s carpet, you may well damage the motherboard by electrostatic discharge, and it will permanently fail. Therefore, before touching any electronics with your hands, you need to observe at least basic precautions.
Make sure not to stand on a static-generating surface such as woolen rugs. Do not wear synthetic or wool clothing. Before touching electronic components, touch anything metal, such as the computer case itself, while it is empty.

5. Rough handling of screws

Be careful with all the small screws that come with the case.Do not drop or lose them. And it’s not that your dog or robot vacuum can swallow them.
A screw that fell into the case unsuccessfully, which you did not notice, is quite capable of arranging a short circuit and killing the motherboard. So take some container and put the screws in there that you don’t need right now.
And get yourself a magnetic screwdriver – with it you will not all the time drop the screws you just removed on the motherboard.
6. Lack of racks under the motherboard

It’s just not possible to screw the motherboard to the base plate: it is installed on special racks.These are hex screws pre-screwed into the body by the manufacturer. They line up with the holes on the motherboard, and the motherboard is bolted to them.
Often assemblers attach the motherboard to three or four racks. And the rest do not bother to rearrange in suitable places and fasten as expected. This can cause the motherboard to bend when attaching new components, or even shorted against the metal base plate.
Before installing the board, unscrew the stands located by the manufacturer in the wrong places on the base plate and install them under the mounting holes of your motherboard.Different boards have different layouts, and case makers can’t do it all for you, so this is something to watch out for.
7. Lack of cable management

Modern computer cases, even budget ones, are equipped with special compartments for cable management. They are usually located behind the base plate on which the motherboard is mounted.
Tidy cable management will make your assembly look prettier, but it also makes practical sense.If the wires are loose, they can get caught in the fan blades, cause noise or damage them. Or cause a short circuit.
Make sure all cables are routed properly behind the base plate and secured with cable ties. Feed only the necessary wires to the motherboard through the manufacturer’s provided technical holes.
8. Cleaning your computer with a vacuum cleaner

If you are not building a new computer, but just decided to carry out preventive maintenance of an existing one, never use a vacuum cleaner to clean the insides of your PC.
The vacuum cleaner is too rough for such purposes, it can damage the blades of the coolers or suck in some component that is not tightly screwed on. And vacuum cleaners are excellent at accumulating static charge, which, as already mentioned, is also not very useful for the motherboard.
So buy a can of compressed air and put the vacuum cleaner away.
9. Opened side cover of the case

After you have completed the assembly, you should close the components with the side cover and secure it with a few screws.The computer is ready, you can use it.
But some assemblers prefer not to install the side cover. They argue that this way the components are better cooled.
